Visited with friends. Waited 20-plus minutes for coffees and when they arrived, they were luke warm. Very disappointing.

An exercise in indifference. Place is filthy and chaotic. Three bored guys banging out the orders, grunting customer numbers and avoiding all eye contact when they can. Incomplete order, warm temperature bottles of water, slop-like ‘healthy bowls’. With a bagel and a couple of bang average coffees you’ll be dropping £25 for the privilege. BSC has a bit of reputation for surly stuff but these guys deliver well below already low expectations. Grab a coffee inside the Powerstation- much more pleasant and welcoming.

Wow, that was impressive. Ordered a cup of tea and a bagel. The bagel came reasonably quickly. The cup of tea took about half an hour. Not sure how it was possible to make putting a teabag into a pot and pouring boiling water onto it so convoluted, but Black Sheep appear to have perfected the art.

Here for drinks , tea and coffee , okay service and a clean environment. Industrial style interior. Snacks sandwiches and cakes available.

Slightly unkind, but that was the description I was given before our visit. A bit of a challenge as you order and pay on a touch screen. I failed on our 1st visit - necessitating dragging the Batista away from her work to sort me out. Cracked it on our return. The Cortado was excellent and the Almond Croissants "Historic", as the late Michael Winner used to say. Love the decor. The Black Sheep loses a star on account of the state of the loos. And who on earth designed one loo where the hot air drier is positioned immediately above the Urinal. Yuk! Hayling Seagoon

The bacon roll on the menu screen in the restaurant is full of delectable looking crispy caramelised bacon, well done to Black Sheep’s menu creators and photographers for advertising the perfect bacon roll. Sadly the one you will get looks nothing like the photo, just two flaccid rubbery pale elasticated raw pieces of bacon. Maybe the chef at Battersea thinks they’re better made with raw limp bacon. I had a hot chocolate too, which was cooler than tepid. I took it back to the counter, where the guy snatched it off me, didn’t say sorry, just rolled his eyes, made another, which was slightly warmer than tepid, and which he slammed down again without saying anything or looking at me. So a raw flaccid bacon roll, and a tepid chocolate. And really bad attitude from staff who are too cool to work in a coffee shop and seemingly dislike customers.

Exceptional waffles and they bring to the table ! The waffles were delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. Looking forward to my next visit next weekend

I live in the block above this and I and my neighbours never use it. Awful McDonalds screen order system. They won’t even take the order verbally for one coffee ! Very slow service. £1 per cup more than Prets opposite in the Power station where the staff are as ever in Prets trained to be friendly and quick. Also their coffee is much nicer - not so bitter. Total rip off !

Most expensive coffee in london? And I have to use a computer / do the ordering for them like in McDonald’s? Somebody is cleaning up on the $$ here

With all the beautiful locations in and around Battersea power station this is a scruffy eyesore. They're going for some sort of urban chic inside but it just looks dirty and unwelcoming. There are machines on the walls, McDonald's style, for ordering which the unkempt staff directed me to in bored manner when I had temerity to ask directly for a cappuccino. 'Sorry, we don't have a till'. Coffee is ordinary, wildly overpriced and staff forgot to bring milk out even though we specified it on the machine. The motto of this place should be 'if we could do less, we would'. With all the good coffee places around, it's such a shame that this lovely location has to suffer this one

Forgot things on our order which we had to correct. "Cold" drinks were warm (perhaps fridge was broken). Let me order coffee in a large ceramic mug without having any available, though they did do me a fresh one when one became available 2 mins after them trying to give me one in a paper takeaway cup. The waffle, once their mistake waa fixed, was good

Self service machines looked good and made for efficient ordering. I was completely shocked though at it costing £4.19 for a regular sized iced americano with milk… why is it so expensive!!??? The 15 minute wait for it to be made even after asking staff really took the mickey…

Before the power station opened up this place used to be slow but now the power station has opened up this place is incredibly painful. The self service ordering machines are not effective or efficient and the staff get completely confused and seem to mess up every order. Shame as the chain does good coffee but this particular store needs management intervention asap

Would not go back to this coffee shop. Great, handy location however the staff were rude, slow and unhelpful. The whole restaurant was untidy with customers having to clean tables themselves. The food was extortionately priced and incredibly poor quality. We paid £25 for 2 small wraps, 2 coffees and 2 cans of water. In comparison we had 2 breakfast and coffees for £30 at the The Ivy in Covent Garden! We used the self serve Kiosk and it took almost 20 minutes for our order to be prepared, with coffee taking the longest! Would never return or recommend this place. It was shocking!

Terrible experience. Lukewarm coffee, 15 minutes wait to get it in the shambles that is the ordering process, staff hiding behind the counter so they can hardly be seen or communicated with, uncomfortable seats and a messy table. I should have read the reviews beforehand...

Well - very easy to order, in fact no limits to the number of orders taken but massively outstrips capacity to deliver. So a very long wait, rule of thumb take the number of people waiting and multiply by 3 minutes. We had the orders...

Thi place is busy because it is EXCELLENT The Power Station has your usual chains like Starbucks and Pret but BLACK SHEEP is the BEST COFFEE you will get in the area. Be prepared to wait as the secret is out.
