Bizarron in Glasgow City

Increíble experiencia, Eva fue especialmente servicial, chica absolutamente encantadora, atendió a todas nuestras necesidades. Espero verla de nuevo pronto.

Voy regularmente a almorzar y nunca decepciona. La comida es excelente, las porciones son generosas, el ambiente es encantador y el personal es amable. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Dios por dónde empezar. Esperé mucho tiempo. Comida muy decepcionante. El burrito de los niños estaba lleno de frijoles y arroz y el pollo era la cantidad más miserable que he visto. Mis tiras de vientre de cerdo eran cuatro pequeñas virutas patéticas que habrían costado menos de £ 3 del proveedor y básicamente huevo revuelto arrojado debajo de él. Salí 40 libras más ligero y para ser honesto me sentí como si me hubieran asaltado. Precioso interior. Muy buen personal de servicio a pesar de la espera. El cóctel estuvo muy bueno.

Descubrimos este lugar recientemente. Me alegro de que lo hiciéramos (bueno, gracias Claire). Es pequeño y acogedor y el personal es atento desde el principio. Tiene una especie de ambiente cubano en términos de decoración y sensación. El entrante que compartimos. Sacó nachos de res. Porción masiva que probablemente fueron los mejores nachos que hemos probado Incluyendo varios viajes a México. Luego Claire tomó un guiso de mariscos y yo tuve (falta de imaginación) filete cubierto frito. Pero Dios, sensación de sabor en ambos. Luego se lava con excelentes cócteles. Todo el tiempo, un guitarrista brillante tocó algunas canciones realmente funky / jazzy que dieron a toda la experiencia una sensación de vacaciones adecuada. Esto es bastante raro para conseguir este ambiente auténtico en Glasgow. Tan cerca de Glasgow Central también. Otra gran garrapata. Volveremos pronto. Muy recomendable. .

Very friendly and great service but most importantly the food was excellent and full of flavour. I will definitely return.

Stodgy and mushy, very generic "South American" flavours. Cardboard like pastry on the empanadas. The only one of 5 dishes approaching a "good" level was the crispy pork belly. Rather unpleasant Mojito too - very dry tasting and not very fruity - how do you mess up a Mojito?! Lovely, friendly staff though!

Lunch was fabulous . It wax fairly quiet but the welcome we received from Ruby was very warm and made us feel special - the food was really good . Well presented and tasted great . My friend and I eat out regularly and we will definitely be back here , it’s now in our list of “the good” Ruby. Thanks for your great service and many thanks to the kitchen for great food .

Vibrant dog-friendly bar/restaurant. Very convenient location a stone’s throw from Glasgow Central station. Food was very good, particularly the grilled prawns. Highly recommended!

Visited for the first time 24/02/2024 as we were in the city for a gig. Friendly greeting on arrival and seated promptly. Buzzy atmosphere matched the delicious food. Will definitely return.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Food was delicious! Great vegetarian and vegan options. Good drink selection. Will definitely be back.

Waited 35 minutes for soft drinks despite the place being half empty. Food was bland, other than the nachos that were nice. Staff were few and far between on the floor. Wouldn’t recommend

Some confusion over my Itison voucher but was eventually sorted, 3rd time lucky! Halloumi Loaded Fries were absolutely delicious and big enough for a decent sized lunch... was very quiet on a midweek lunchtime but I imagine it's buzzing come evening...

Absolutely loved our meal here last night! The food was delicious and despite being a very busy Saturday night, our dishes arrived in good time. The portions are large and honestly the nachos were the best I’ve ever had. We also tried a couple of the cocktails which were also fantastic. The staff were so fabulous and friendly which really added to the fun and buzzing atmosphere. Big recommend!!!

We had booked a table (large) for the Christmas dining menu. But we’re told when we arrived that this has to be pre-ordered, so ate off the main menu. The food wasn’t anything to rave about with the burger being overdone. The napkins are red and stained my white top so the service around that was brilliant… but don’t think based on the food I’ll be back.

Had a great lunch here, booked two mains and two glasses of wine for £15 with my friend. Both had tacos, I had the jackfruit and my friend had pulled pork and they were banging. Tacos were spicy and flavoured and three overstuffed mini tortillas so perfect size. The guacamole was not just smashed avocado but had spice and onion and chilli. Pickled onions were tart and sharp. We also shared fries which were crunchy and a huge portion to share. Wine was good and decently prized and we had one mojitos which was decent. The venue decor is very cool, staff all seem new but keen and service was speedy. The best vegan Mexican food I’ve found in Glasgow hands down - Bar Burrito, Mexcal, Topolabamba and Taco Mazamo have all been under whelming for vegan food. But felt the dishes here didn’t just remove items to make it vegan and rather included other ingredients. Will def return asap - a new fave.

The food is delicious, especially the tacos! The portion sizes are really good and the staff are all very friendly! Great place for lunch!

The venue is lovely, it's a very small restaurant, staff were very friendly and quick service, the food was ok bit pricey for what you get. The Nachos starter was lovely but very small, I had the Moqueca seafood dish in coconut broth, I could not taste any coconut it was more tomato based nice but not what I was hoping for. Was an ok experience.

Came here for a date night to celebrate my partner getting his new job. Seen this on restaurant on social media and really wanted to try it. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were attentive. Very reasonable prices and great value for money.

i've eaten alot of mexican food, and been to alot of mexican places - this place trumps them for me. 9/10 times people go to mexican places and its just the usual bog standard - nachos, burritos, boring tacos etc - its always tex mex guff this place had some proper mexican food, had the pork chicherron and it was delicious, eggs great - rice and black beans proper class now have a new favourite beer aswell Dos equis!

Menu is small not a lot of options were available food was very bland with the dishes which was a surprise as Latin food is normally bursting with flavour The waitress was very nice and apologetic but we won't be back for more.

Amazing food and cocktails, great decor and vibe, friendly and welcoming staff Would highly recommend for dinner or after work drinks

Bizarron has a fantastic vibe with a great menu , beautiful decor and attentive staff. Spent my Saturday evening here catching up with friends and we were not disappointed. We had a selection of starters to share the Pulled pork tacos were absolutely delicious as was the vegetarian filled option ( highly recommend these ) the coxinhas and pastels were equally as delicious with varied fillings available, generous portions meant we didn’t make it to a main course but will definitely be returning to try it out . Very reasonably priced, great selection of drinks/cocktails and right next to Central Station , what’s not to love ? See you again Bizarron 💃🏻
