Bithika Tandoori in Belfast

Got a delivery and it was abz disgusting everything was like water curry sagaloo sauces the only thing nice is the nan bread an chips!! Phoned back to the DISGUSTING so called worker that was so rude an ignorant....! How friging dare you tell me noone could come back for the order yous dont do that!!! No let me tell you im a paying customer you will come in get my order or I come to shop tomorrow you disgusting person. Food was abz vile how you serve that to people is so wrong....

Received my order everything tasted like water donor meat was dryed out chicken pakora must be days old so rang them 2 b spoken 2 so rudely feedback is for a reason 2 sort ur food out and also improve ur manners a nasty piece of work so so ignorant.

I’ve ordered from this place a good couple of times now so thought I’d give a review. Everything I’ve ordered has been really good, in good condition (warm, packed well). There’s good options, price is decent and portion sizes are great. I think some restaurants in belfast try to skip out (ie forgetting drinks or dips) but bithika has always came with the right order. A lot of places can never find my address but I’ve never had an issue with delivery with them, always on time. It’s great for vegetarian/vegans. Never had a problem with the food (ie never found meat/dairy in my order). It’s really tasty too. I don’t usually write reviews but I do think this restaurant deserves a lot of praise. I’m also very bored and have nothing else to do right now but the point still stands. I’d recommend to anyone. Can’t really think of anything to complain about, I’ve just never had a negative experience. Solid takeaway option.

I ordered a delivery online and rang to ask how much longer it was going to be, as it was already late according to the estimated arrival time provided online. The staff on the phone did not ask for any of my details (to find out who I was in order to provide the correct information), Before telling me abruptly ‘it’s on it’s way’, and hung up immediately, which could well have been lies as he had no idea who I was to know whether my order was on it’s way. I will NOT be ordering from again and will be advising others against it also. Pathetic service - being pleasant to customers is the least that we would expect, and the staff can’t even do that.

To say I’m shocked upset appalled & angry would be an understatement!!! Usually I would sit in the car while waiting on our food but ended up going into Bithika tonight at around 11:10 and on arrival we walked in and the place was freezing, we grabbed a menu and sat down, the table gave in from below us.. That wasn’t the issue in the end - when we got up to order our food we were greeted by a lovely man that took our order - straight away we noticed that this man was under pressure - he couldnt figure out the till and it looked like it was maybe his first night so we gave him a by ball on a few occasions while he sorted other people’s deliveries and food as he was the only person there When he did take our order we sat back down and then two ladies walked in and went behind the counter - to be honest I thought they were going to help him - this wasn’t the case Instead it took 3 people (2 girls and delivery driver) to sort one problem with a calculator, they stood laughing and chatting all while the guy at the front area was preparing food, taking orders handling money - I noticed my food was on the hatch - it sat there for around 10 mins all while the ladies stood laughing and chatting to the delivery driver - who also was screwing her nose up at this man because he wasn’t doing what he was supposed to be doing correctly the 2 ladies then went in to the kitchen and when they came out of the kitchen one was coughing into her hands and picking her ears if thats what theyre doing in front of customers wtf are they doing back there 😷😷😷😷 i then asked the man if they would help him he told me they were busy - really?????? my food came - then my partners - then i had to ask the chef for my naan as he came to the hatch because i then noticed he was preparing someone elses meal This man was a lot older than some of these "ladies" and to see him struggling and under pressure upset me so much especially when the ladies are looking round at us rolling their eyes and wouldnt bother helping him moral of the story - takeaway shop or not look after your co-workers and give them the correct training i will never eat from Bithika again - our meals are in the bin and i am praying that the man working tonight catches a break from those freaks

Just got an onion Baji kebab tonight, they must have changed chefs? The bajis were not round, and tasted under cooked. The nan did also not taste properly cooked either, kinda didn't taste like from a nan oven, plus you are only allowed one sauce. The girl on the counter was very friendly, but going from my favourite takeaway, to me never going back again, is a big leep!!

I visited Bithika last week. I had the chicken curry with rice. It was really fresh and very tasty. Also the girl in the cashier was so kind. I totally recommend this place

I purchased some food from this company, however the issue was not with the food! The food was VERY tasty, this issue was with the white bald man who stood in the left hand corner judging women as they ordered! i assume he is a delivery driver, he was the most sexist man i have ever met and BEWARE WOMEN! x

Have always liked Bithika. Been eating with them for nearly 30 years, which speaks for the quality of the food by itself. But the more recent expanded menu and meal deals are great and brings Bithika fully up to date with other competing takeaways. Highly recommended

Pity because this place use to be beautiful. Delivery was late and the food was stone cold on arrival. The korma was disgusting, watery and flavourless. The samosas were soggy and definitely not fresh.

If you'll do one thing in life. Avoid this place. The chips were inedible and the house sauce was thousand island sauce. Kebab meat could have been anything. If I was dying and thid was the only food available I'd sooner die.

I ordered a takeaway at the weekend from Bithika, I have been a customer for over 10 years. I could not believe when the delivery driver asked me for £13.50 for my order. I only ordered a chicken madras and poppodoms, it seems they have put the price up by £2 within the last few weeks. The food was lovely but I will not be getting a delivery again. I expect to pay these prices in a restaurant not for a takeaway.

Always top quality food wether it delivered or if you call in you can sit in also chilli sauce is a must and the chicken tikka is a speciality

I just wanted something lighter and different,so i ordered a vegetarian mixed starter. I was thinking it would be a nice size. There i was wrong. Came in a box just bigger than a burger size. One samosa,one onion bhagee and two tiny vegetable pakoras. Boring lettuce,onion and tomstoe salad accompanied. Why they dont add carrot and cucumber to brighten and colour the salad? Cheap skate really. I took kebab sauce and mint yogurt sauces which were nice. But at 5 pounds i should have gone for a box meal at 5.50. Food was nice but far too small.

The Bithika is the best Indian take away I've ever had. The quality of food is superb and large portions. The meal deals for 2 are great value.

Placed order at 6pm, got confirmed and delivery time was to be for 18:55, I am still waiting on the order.

Acabo de un kebab en carne, patatas fritas y un kebab en pita para mi pareja entregada y tiene que ser el mejor iv probado en mucho tiempo. Buenas porciones y la salsa de ajo era preciosa. Y también ayuda que están abiertos y entregar también tarde. Sin duda el fin de estos chicos de nuevo.

Me and my girlfriend's favourite Indian takeaway in Belfast! We received free poppadoms with our last order and were supplied with cutlery and crockery so that we could eat in the collection area. Highly recommended!

Food is alright but not fantastic, poppadoms charged for but not delivered. The achari which was a favourite be of ours has changed, not as good anymore. But the chicken chaat starter is delicious

There was one small very piece of meat in the £8.25 "main course".

Chilli sauce on kebab was too spicy should not be consumed by humans. Other than that good was nice would deffo order from here again.

They got my order wrong. Sending me a chicken Pakora on nan kebab. I had to ring them to let them know. When I don this the guy on the phone realised their mistake and sent me my proper order.

Waited 1 hour half for food. To be told that had to pay an extra £2 for delivery as the driver had been and gone. Refused to do so and then found out she went to the wrong street!! Received fresh order in the end . Customer service is horrendous!!

Food was delicious. I was cautious of ordering from here because of some of the bad reviews but food came early, still warm, and was even more spicy than the usual Indian I order from which is a bonus. Highly recommend

Do not order from here!!! My delivery was very late, the delivery time was supposed to be at 2:45, it had not came by 3 so i rang and asked where it was and apparently it was on its way, it got to 20 past 3 and it still hadn't came so i rang again and it said it should be 5-10 minutes which it wasn't it did not come until nearly 4 o clock. The customer service was very bad we didn't even get an apology and the man on the phone wasn't very considerate as he kept just telling us it was on its way and was speaking very rushed. It wasn't worth the wait as the food wasn't that good, would definitely NOT recommend or order again!!!!

Food took ages to deliver and when it came it was absolutely freezing and disgusting that bad I wouldn't even feed it to my dog, would never recommend it to anyone. Also so cheeky on the phone and don't understand what your saying!!

The lamb curry was not as hot as i would have like it but in say that over all at was tasty and if you not give here a do now

Excellent curry, speedy and good value too

Delivery was long. When rang to see where the order was the staff where polite but said the food was not yet even ready and had to prepare it. Had to ring twice. But eventually when it arrived the food was amazing. Apart from delivery time we could not fault the great taste and flavours. I would definitely order from here again and wait over an hr on the food. It was piping hot and delicious. Defo recommend the vindaloo and korma! Fab! The madras and vindaloo was hard to tell the difference. Same colour taste and same spice. Thats the only flaw. But for taste it gets 10/10.

1 hour and 20 minutes to be delivered. Not the drivers fault because I phoned at 8.05 and it was only leaving the restaurant.

Never fails to sort out that craving for curry and naan bread. Slightly disappointed with the Madras as we received 4 pieces of lamb in the curry. But the prawn bhuna was excellent.

Food was lovely, although not a lot of lamb in the korma. The rest was very good & arrived quickly

Bland food - very watery curry - was late very disappointed really not as good as the previous owners tbh. I won't be ordering again.

Got my order wrong. When I phoned up about it was told that I was the one that was wrong and I was "too far away" for anything to be done. Worst service, won't be ordering again.

Order took forever, Phoned up to ask and the receptionist was rude. Didn't even confirm my order or ask who I was just assured me it was on its way. Later tried to confirm my order and when he got it wrong insisted that I was the one who was wrong and proceeded to hang up.

Order arrived within expected time. Good food. Would order again.

I find the food was very good, especially bhona and onion bhaji, very good and friendly people, good manu and big portion, having so many choices, definitely we will visit again,!!

Food took an hour and a half to get here, kebab was small and disappointing, salad perplexingly came wrapped in a separate bag, probably because they knew it wouldn't fit in the pitiful kebab.

I think I might just start ordering from another Indian in future. I am a regular at bithika and the last couple of times my order hasn't turned up for nearly two hours. I had actually fallen asleep by the time I got my order, and was woke by the driver calling. By that stage my appetite was gone. My house is a 20 minute walk to the restaurant so I don't know why they always deliver so late.

food was just disgusting,my order came to £22.90 ,I should of just threw the money in the bin,they really have let their standards drop big time,if health inspectors done a visit I guess they would close it down.!that food was just horrible,how are they even allowed to sell it in that state.?belief me they are losing customers big time,bithika has defo changed big time.! First and last time ordering from this restaurant. Meat was dry, salad wasn't fresh and the garlic wasn't garlic. Disgusting.

The food was nice but came more than and hours late. As in just ordered an appitizer it Just got spoiled pretty much.

Food came far too fast. I had ordered it so would be available for when I got home from work. Instead of it being there at 2240, it arrived at 2200. That suggested that the food was not made fresh. Also the portion was tiny. I had wanted to purchase an indian so I could have it as a main meal and the leftovers as lunch. Very disappointed. The chicken korma lacked flavour. I will not return.

Asked for no veg and they gave me piles of onions plus curry had no flavour first time getting out of here and was looking forward to it as everyone was saying bithika was lovely but i really didnt enjoy it plus dilivery driver had no change from 20 note he had to go to shop and then come back plus asked me could he have my daughter old bed which was sitting in my garden waiting on be takin to the bump😂 i let him take it

Part of order, the Samosa starters were not delivered but after a phone call to Bithika the remaining food was delivered.. Spoiled our meal slightly as we had our main course finished before our starters arrived!. However, I understand this was a genuine mistake as it hasn't happened before over the years I have been ordering from Bithika.

The driver was very kind to deliver to the door - our house is not the easiest to find.

Was 30 mins late. Food was freezing and some chicken was pink inside wasnt cooked properly. Was put in the bin. Il not be ordering again.

Ordered 2 kebabs through the Just eat app to be delivered for 18:30pm this arrived 40 minutes late despite numerous promises that the food was on route, I appreciate that it is a weekend but when they had prior notification of this order at least 2 hrs they should have been able to fulfil this requirement.

Food was not delivered on time. 40 minutes late from specified delivery time. Attitude of the delivery driver was absolutely deplorable in his mannerisms and attitude towards a customer who is disable, his behaviour was very unprofessional in the way he spoke to a customer stating "For God sake, right whatever". Food wasn't the warmest on arrival and exceptionally small portion sizes. Will defitinley not order a kebab again from this place!

Arrived 15 mins after states time, was cold and greasy. Not what i'm used to from usually a fine Restaurant.

Ordered a ridiculous amount of takeaways from Bithika, the food is very fresh and tasty. I'm aware they use fresh produce everyday no matter what, this is comforting. Side dishes are amazing, get yourself some Aloo Gobi now!

No taste at all sauces particularly bland first time trying won't b back

Food was one of the worst takeouts I've ever had. Curry had no taste. Chicken on kebab was not cooked properly. Chips were like cardboard. Do not recommend.

Only problem was they gave me the wrong order. I ordered a mixed kebab and only received a chicken one.

He estado yendo allí por años los mejores kebabs y Curry's encontrará en Belfast todas las salsas hechas en casa no compramos en como la mayoría de kebabs prueba el bakawalla es increíble y la salsa de chili es el mejor que he probado. No hagas caso a comentarios negativos confía en mí estado pidiendo desde aquí por más de 20 años. Proporcionan una alta calidad. Altamente recomendado. El propietario es un tío rihad si no es en el menú sólo pregunta.
