A good quality Indian takeaway.

Dropped in unexpectedly as happened to be in the area at lunchtime. Had chaat and masala dosa. A little spicier than I was expecting but amazing taste. The staff were very attentive. A little treasure and reasonably priced too!

So good. Really happy we could try their southern Indian dishes and the staff were great.

Great and welcoming staff, genuinely smiling and chatting with us. Food was tasty and nicely cooked; we expected one dish to be spicier but the experience was very enjoyable nevertheless.

The food is great. Seriously, the taste is fantastic at this place. This is a family run place, and the taste is as authentic as it gets. If you want comfort food, in a reasonably upscale environment with a family feeling, this is the place for you.

A really great place. It feels like home cooking by your family. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The server asked how spicy you'd like the dish and it came exactly as you'd ordered it. Not expensive and very welcoming. We were a group of seven who walked in without a reservation and had a fantastic meal. Love to visit again and try more from the menu.

We went on a Saturday night at 7 pm and got tables easily. Just 3-4 other tables occupied. We went first to the other outlet in Ravenhill Road, but supposedly, they only have a buffet there with limited items. But it's not mentioned clearly anywhere. Thankfully, it's only a short 5-10mins drive between both. We ordered South Indian items in the menu, and the food was great & tasty except for some overcooking with the vada, which made it hard and too crispy in some parts. Notably, the sambar was amazing, and we were eating just that at a point. The service was really slow. Took us 2 hours overall, and we had to wait 5-10mins even to get the bill. The price also looked high. For a similar Indian meal, we have paid 25% less in other places.

Delicious Indian food. Good ambience. Music can be a little distracting depending on your mood. Service was prompt, friendly waiters. The quality of the food appeared good, however for the price, the quantity was much less. Too expensive for the location and quantity of food. Although there were south Indian dishes on the menu, they tasted quite mediocre. Chutneys were obviously made with desiccated coconut and tasted quite awful. However North Indian dishes tasted good.

Panneer tikka was alright but there were just 4 pieces.Gobi manchurian is overcooked with too much sauces. Momos were horrible with black carrots and 2-3 green peas. They did not even send sauce for the momos. Expensive and super low quality food. I would not recommend this.

First time ordering food from there last night. Got the paneer. Delicious. Will be back.

Unreal, insane, Gas....ie good lol- amazing fresh food, fresh flavour. All meats clearly cooked fresh unlike the bigger name Indian restaurants in town who shave tikka meat of a skewer. with stodgy sauce. This place has exceptional food. A clear case of don't judge a book by its cover as it looks like a diner, but I cant recall every having such amazing Indian food ever - especially in Belfast. Well done to them. Can't wait to be back! Just hope it doesnt get too busy!

Has a meal there this evening and WOW 😮 Firstly the staff were absolutely awesome, very helpful informative and friendly. The food was spectacular, easily the best most authentic in belfast. What makes it mega special is that it’s family run. The lady who took our order and her husband(the chef) run the place. Their children were there helping which was amazing to see. Plus when I was leaving I went to say goodbye and the owners asked if I would review which I am more than happy to do. And the last beautiful memory was of their 10 year old son holding the door open for us as we left and as I was telling him how super he was and what a great night we’d had, he asked if I’d give them a review….this was so brilliant 🤩 just seeing such a gorgeous wee family running a business together is magic ✨ I will most definitely be back and YOU NEED TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL MEAL AND A GREAT NIGHT

The food is second to none. So authentic and delicious. The staff are so nice and attentive. The vibe feels like a lovely Indian diner rather than a very formal restaurant. Will definitely be going again.

Excellent food and really friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere

Well, we stayed here for 3 days and had eat the food of this restaurant for both days as we loved the taste of the curries. Unfortunately, at the last day of returning back, we decided to opt. for the dine- in option with the Christmas offer which is being served at the moment. The owner, who welcomed us on the first day was very impressive but the waiter who took our order seems to be unpleasant and rude and wouldn’t suggest us anything. He could have suggest us that the offer won’t be enough for us so we could have gone for the normal dine-in options. Not happy with the serve at last day.

Amazing food with 1st class service

Great, friendly staff. Food always excellent and also several South Indian specialities that most other Indian restaurants don’t offer. Masala dosa is a must if you’re planning to visit.

I'd looked up some reviews and saw that this place had good reviews. It's a family run restaurant and the food was great. The chilli paneer was very tasty and lived up to the chilli title. Momas were great. Mains were North Indian Chilli Chicken and the Lamb Shank. Both of which were excellent. Thoroughly recommend

Starting with the good things, there were plenty vegetarian options, which is always great. On a Tuesday evening, the place was quite quiet, yet service was incredibly slow and it was difficult to catch the servers’ attention. There were crumbs on our table and our plates & water jug weren’t clean, which is an important pet peeve of mine. Presentation was good, but the taste wasn’t as great as we expected from the reviews, and the dosa was overcooked. In general, more attention to detail is needed for the prices charged. I do appreciate that every day is different and perhaps today was just not a great day! Edit to add a response to the owner’s answer: I fully understand that momos take time to cook and are reasonable on waiting times. But we had to wait a significant time for things like tap water, the bill, the change from the bill… (some of these we had to ask for twice). The dosa was indeed overcooked because it tasted burnt and it was not a matter of the chilli. Yes, you replaced the plates, but they shouldn't have been set out in the first place if visible dirt was obvious. If you are unable to take some constructive criticism, you don’t deserve the three stars I originally gave you.

Unhygienic, overly priced and the waiter serving us was rude. Drink was served in a visibly dirty glass and when asked to change, waiter poured same drink in another glass and served us. Little bit of food that we manage to taste was good before we found hair in curry. That’s when we left. Not recommended.

Excellent meal on a Sunday evening. We had lamb shank and lamb dhosa, both very tasty. Very friendly helpful service and good happy atmosphere. Menu has good variety of southern Indian food.

I ordered masala dosa from there and the potatoe masala inside dosa was not fresh and had a bad taste . I used to go bites of india for these dosas and it was good in that times but now it not tasty and the quantity of sambar is very less , which is not enough for a person go eat dosa . I wont go there anymore because i went to resturant with a good hope but got a really bad food .

The food is good, halal meat. I liked butter chicken and mutton biriyani. Tried their roti as well which was good. Portion was alright, shared between 2 but depends on your appetite 😅 Staff are friendly.

Saleem is an amazing host! We were visiting Belfast for a road trip and looking for good Indian food. With the food being amazing, Saleem was really warm and friendly. Would always like to go back if just for a chat with him :)

We are in Belfast for two days and were craving for some Indian food. Searched on Google and found this awesome place. We started with Honey chilli Chicken wings. Just purrrrrfect!!! Four pieces of wings, with just the right sweetness and spice.. Well maybe a couple more could be added... But then that's the scene. This was followed by a deep bowl of one of the best Butter Chicken I have had and paired beautifully with Butter Naan.. Crispy and yet soft and tender. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal... 😍👌👌👌😋

Wonderful food, we were craving some good Indian food on our trip and this restaurant delivered! The service was excellent, we were seated quickly and presented with the menu. The food arrived after a short while and had filling portions. Will definitely recommend eating in here! It was priced reasonably as well.

We visited with my friends and family group of 10 people, Ordered chicken, lab biryani but quantity is very less not even sufficient for one person, We need to be carefull with staff they taking incorrect orders or extra orders. I ordered nihari chicken but they took the lamb curry when I asked they saying come next time and try it that is missed to bring by them. And I also ordered chilli chicken it was spicy but feels like achari mixed very sweet. Reply for your response : The problem not with portion, we ordered extra as we like it but given incorrect dish,it our choice how many main course to order, you said small that doesn't mean to order every one to order one dish,

Disappointing takeaway. We fancied a takeaway whilst most on holiday and found this to be the best reviewed within the local area. We’ve never had a bad curry but this was close to its bad as it’s been. The bad: The poppadoms and the nann bread were stale, the nann was flat and sad. The starters we ordered seemed like they were from frozen, tasteless patties for onion bhaji Vegetable balti had frozen diced veg & carrots Great portion of paneer but the sag was lacklustre The okay: chicken and lamb tikka were nice, lamb was tender Plain rice was probably the best bit. Delivery driver was nice.

Though there are other Indian restaurants in the city with higher ratings, we found their food to be the best and most authentic Indian cuisine. We had the nehari lamb, although it is not nehari as we Bangladeshis think of it (nehari means the leg of lamb to us). All the meat was solid with no bones. One dish is perfectly enough for two people. We had it with their butter naan and rice as well. The food was excellent and perfectly met our cravings.if you can take spicy curry you must try this... We tried their tea as well...

I would avid this restraunt especially if you are drunk. They over charge you 12 pounds for dal which is not on their menu also ! Really expensive even for London standard !

On a recent work trip to Belfast, I had the privilege to take work colleagues to this restaurant. A new online booking system failed them and they were not aware of our 10.30pm booking when we arrived. They were so gracious in honouring the booking, despite getting ready to close up. The food was absolutely outstanding in quality, taste, and portion size. Their service was attentive and efficient. I wish I had discovered the restaurant in my first week and not at the end of my second week, I would have definitely returned for more. Please try this great place, you won't be disappointed.
