I was really excited to try Birria Tacos for the first time. I wouldn't say they were my favourite thing ever but my experience at the restaurant was great. Price was good for the quality, I really liked the spice level and I was very happy to be able to go to a place specializing in this dish. Although I don't normally like ordering via apps, I found this one straightforward. The waitress brought me the wrong drink- as she had already opened it she let me have it for free as well as then bringing me the right one. I thought that was a nice touch.

We had the best meal here! The ramen was rich and spicy and birria tacos were so juicy. My favourite was the flaming hot corn! Also had to try 4 of the flavoured drinks which were delicious. The staff were so friendly and inviting - will definitely be coming back!

Firstly we ordered our food via the app which was extremely slow (we had to refresh the page multiple times). Secondly our food arrived at completely different times although they were ordered at the same time. When the food arrived mine was missing and when asking a staff member what was going on with the food he told me that we had only ordered two tacos and two ramens despite us showing him all three receipts and he seemed very defensive. Finally the order arrived after around an hour. The food was not great either especially after waiting for such a long time. The lamb was not cooked properly and was not hot. Honestly think this restaurant is not worth the hype.

The staff were friendly but the food was so unbelievably spicy that I was unable to eat most of it. The table next to me was having the same experience.

Okay, let me break this down! A friend of a friend from California USA ate here and she said this was the only place in London to get authentic tacos… so I got a new friend of mine to meet me here and it didn’t disappoint! Theee best tacos I have EVER tasted! The right amount of heat and flavour! The fries zesty, herby, flavourful. I came all the way from Essex and I will be dragging my family down too just to eat it again and for them to try it. Totally worth the trip!

Amazingggg Tacos… one of the best I’ve ever had if not the best. And it’s halal which I did not feel bad after eating them at all. Me and my stomach were very happy. I personally got the lamb tacos..🤌🏾 I didn’t like the churros that much but they were still good. Just a bit hard. Chocolate sauce was good though. Still ended up eating all of it😂 The owner and his family/friends were super friendly and humble as well. They recommended me things to do in London as it was my second day and first time here.

Attended as a party of 5 from the midlands. Stumbled across this eatery by chance and seemed busy, so thought give it a chance. So pleased that we did, the food was OUTSTANDING !!!! extremely tasty and plenty full. If I’m back in this neck of the woods it’s a definite must to visit again

I've been wanting to try this place since it was in the old location and yesterday I finally got around to it. As soon as I left the theater with my husband I was looking for a place that did food after 10pm. Birria Tacos was not only a perfect solution for the time, but it made us have a really nice evening. The staff is kind and welcoming and they were all very kind in adapting the dishes to our requests and needs. We got the beef tacos and they were delicious. I had them with vegan cheese and even that was very good compared to what I usually find. The chips and nachos were also great. I'd say it's really worth going to try it, especially if someone wants to spend an informal evening with friends, in a friendly place where you can feel at home. Maybe the only thing to change is the music a little loud, but for another round of tacos like this you can pass over it. By the way, the shop is not in Edgware Road anymore, they moved close to Queen’s Park some month ago.

Eating Mexican food with chopsticks! Birria Ramen in London!! Birria is a Mexican meat stew (traditionally made with goat meat but these days you can also get beef, lamb or chicken.) The rich meat broth is simply rich and concentrated served with Lime, Onion, Cilantro to take the taste to the level! Some bright spark in America invented the Birria ramen which is basically delicious noodles in this tasty broth! Instead of travelling to the states, I was so lucky to find a place in London that serves it at Birria Taco which is located inside another restaurant. At Birria Taco, they offer lamb or beef birria ramen so we tried both. The lamb broth was more concentrated and saltier compared to the beef but according to the staff, both broths were meant to be the same. The best thing were the noodles, I felt that they couldn't have made a better choice of noodles because they hung the broth well and absorbed the flavours. They reminded me of curly instant noodles with a flat wavy shape. Every mouthful was bliss because you got this strong meaty broth along with the spices as if you were eating a taco with delicious hot noodles. The key to this ramen is also the pickles, radish, onions and cilantro but I felt that more onions and cilantro is needed to give it that full on experience. I also felt that their onion and cilantro could have been fresher as it was not as flavourful as it should be. To summarize, I will definitely be returning because £9.50 was definitely worth paying! Hopefully their lamb and beef broths will be consistent in taste. The location of this place is hard to find because it is hidden inside this other restaurant which has no windows or a see through front door. On a side, I got trapped in the toilet because the lock was too high in the corner which made it hard to get out unless you really pry with your fingers, so if you had long nails, you would be screwed.

We stopped by for pre cinema food at the new Kensal Rise location. Super friendly service. Food was served quickly and was delicious. This place seems to be Halal Mexican so no alcohol (or BYOB).

Good service and atmosphere in their new Kensal Rise home. I found it a little pricey for the portion sizes but the food was great. I would have liked a beer with the food but they are not licensed for alcohol and had no alcohol free beer either. Certainly a change from the run of the mill restaurants.

We drove over for the opening of Birria Taco in their new home in Kensal Rise, having previously had a great meal during lockdown at their home in a Moroccan restaurant on the Edgware Road. We were not disappointed. We had beef, lamb and oyster mushroom tacos and all were fabulous . So much so we ordered some more to take away. We will be back and wish the team all the best in their new venture.

The food was lovely. After my plate was taken away I sat and waited to order a dessert. Despite catching the attention of the waiting staff after over 30 minutes of waiting I gave it up as a bad job and went to the bar to ask for the bill. I asked for the service charge to be removed due to the wait but was not asked why. Disappointing, as the initial service was good, and the restaurant seemed to quieten down as the evening went on so it was strange
