Birketts Seaview Cafe in East Riding of Yorkshire

We have just had two delicious mega breakfasts which were lovely & just sitting outside with two cappuccino coffees, wonderful food & service, the team there were so lovely & friendly & excellent service & food

Absolutely banging food with the best sausages known to man. Food was cooked fresh and was served hot. Very reasonably priced. The owner, Leon, was a top bloke. Very welcoming, chatty and engaging

My favourite seafront cafe in Hornsea. Everything is fresh, cooked to order. Best chips hands down - long, crispy on outside, soft in middle like much pricier gastro pub chips. Lovely views inside or outside tables & friendly to boot.

Breakfast cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Views out to sea. Cleaned and comfortable Will be going back

Hi today my partner Lesley and I went for lunch here today, couldn't fault it , polite staff, not long in waiting food was great with a great sea-view ,couldn't ask for more

Got fish and chips here for 4 people on a sunday lunch time. But i wished I hadnt, they were the worst fish and chips ive ever had at any seaside resort, the fish was dry ,undercooked, and tasteless. the chips were scrappy, thin and cold. If your in hornsea and looking for fish and chips then dont go here.

Looking for somewhere cheap to grab some lunch on a bank holiday we came across this gem of a place next to the main car park in town. Mum had Sausage and Chips whilst I had a 1/2 pound burger, The portion size was excellent and the chips were very well cooked As for the Burger it really was one of the best that I have had for a few years, very tasty and very good value If in town do yourself a favour and pop by

We come to Hornsea every few weeks and eat some lovely meals here, but the best one is the Sunday Dinner. You get plenty of it, all fresh and nicely cooked food for the price £5.45. We sit outside with the dog in the summer months, but they have seating inside the doorway and also into the Conservatory a long open room with windows and pleasant views. The family who run it are helpful and friendly and the staff too... Overall i give it 10/10 and will be back in a weeks time...

The staff were okay and caled me young man. Perhaps they need glasses. There are 2 rooms one with glass windows overlooking the sea is very good for the views. The other is near the hatch where they take the orders. The tables are likea formica and the cahirs are nothing special but moveable. The room with the srving hatch is spoilt by a shelf over the door and has cardboard boxes on with toilet paper and other stuff shuved up there. Not sure about the safety side of things. I had a reasonable sausage sandwich which for the price had good quality sausages in it.

Just had a Sunday dinner and it was beautiful highly recommended x polite staff too. It's just at the side of the amusement s but also allowed dogs in so we were pleased

Nice food, friendly staff. Very reasonable. Great views. No frills. Breakfast are good. Sunday lunch lovely. Been with the grandkids, good portions.

This cafe near the sea and also near a softplay centre services decent coffee (nescafe) and everything with chips! also breakfasts and Sunday roasts . All was hot , freshly cooked and delicious.

I like this little café, I usually get the big breakfast when I call in. It opens early and shuts latish. Its cheap and you get lots of well prepared café food on the large plates. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Nice view out to sea and along the green towards the lifeboat station. Amusements next door, handy for the kids and big kids! Plenty of paid parking or free if you get a gap on the road just outside. Near to the caravan site, just a 2 min walk across the green. Nice pub nearby and not far from town centre. Can't go wrong with this one.

We visit the Seaview regularly. The food is basic, the portions large, and very cheap. The place is clean and the view is lovely. If you want fresh caught fish you need to go to one of the more expensive places,you can't expect a gourmet menu at the prices they charge. Love it! <3

We got there just after 1pm and wanted some lunch so we parked up in the car park straight opposite the cafe so we went in we sat in the concervatory bit we looked at the menu and decided on fish and chip's cup of tea my husband paid as soon as he placed our order he also came away with 2 mugs of tea which the tea bags was left in the mugs and the mugs had seen better days anyway we waited and waited half hour had past the I thought they must cook from fresh how wrong I was .... eventually my husband stopped a waitress and asked were our meals were she said they was on the way then she popped out of the kitchen shouted our number and along she came .. and guess what she was bringing us a completely wrong order when we told her we had ordered fish and chips she said OK I will check for you were it is she came out and said it will be 4 min's so we waited it did finally come I was thinking a nice fresh fish with chip's with being in Hornsea a fishing area one would expect it. But oh no it came as a well fried piece of frozen already batted fish out of a box and frozen chips well it was truly discussing the fish was so grey when I found it under the batter I put brown sauce on to take the horrible taste away but even that was real sweet and watery liquid. I ate the peas and yes u guessed they were frozen as well I did complain and all I got was a sorry ... no discount nothing free... so just beware the place was also very dirty the bin in the so called kitchen was that full of wasted food it was overloaded discusting I would never advise anyone to eat there

Abre temprano. Hemos estado en la pequeña cafetería unas cuantas veces y la comida nos pareció muy bien preparada con mucho espacio en el plato. limpia y agradable cafetería con precios razonables. Mucho espacio de aparcamiento en el aparcamiento barato de coche o a veces en la carretera. No te puedes equivocar con esta pequeña joya. Cerca del mar con vistas y atracciones. ideal cercano con niños y Caravan Park cerca para vacaciones baratas. ¿Qué más se podría pedir.

nice bacon sandwich and cupper early in the morning wold recommend this we had meal when weve seen locals stopping for a sandwich that's a good recommendation for us

No es un restaurante, pero sin duda una de las mejores comidas que he tenido en un café. domingo almuerzo estupendo con vistas magníficas del mar. La excelente carne bien exhiben trabajos con montones de verdura fresca y salsa adecuada con Yorkshires crujientes además de una gran variedad de deliciosos pasteles caseros y una buena taza.

First of all this is not a restaurant and that is why I had to tick the No box for the Question 'Is this one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant', but it is one of the best I have had in a Caf'e.This is a back to basics type café, serving good wholesome food, good portions at a good price.Good varied menu, friendly staff and the service was fast and the place was clean.This was our second visit this year and once again we were not disappointed.As a caf'e it could not be faulted.A good value place to take the family.
