Birds in South Derbyshire

Ordered a hot sausage cob with apple sauce and stuffing. Got a dry cob with not even any butter in it a cold sausage and no stuffing or apple sauce! It says on the deal that it comes with both! Disappointing.

Love birds rolls so did my first ever delivery. Everything that came is great except the bacon roll I ordered. It’s a big roll with just one slice of bacon which was mostly fat and it wasn’t very warm. Everywhere else puts a warm item in tin foil which always keep food warm so I won’t order one of those again

We live close to the shop but we're obviously at the end of another drop off so our breakfast cobs were cold and delivery took ages.

When the order a fully works it's great. The past 5 orders I've tried to make just end up randomly getting cancelled 15-20 minutes later. Absolutely useless place, why even list it in the first place?

Birds has always been a tad on the pricey side however the quality is consistently top class in every respect. Well worth it.

Seasonal cream tarts....Rhubarb. Prices may seem a little high ( aren't they everywhere?)but the quality is all there.

Best Just Eat experience I’ve ever had ... Birds actually looked at my notes on the order and went above and beyond to make my breakfast EXACTLY how I wanted it ...also no spilt coffee or smashed up cakes .... Birds are a cut above others out there .... instore AND delivered !

Birds quality is always top notch. Very expensive though and in danger of pricing themselves out of the market. Example: Over £7 for 6 not-very-thick sausages is ridiculous!

Everything I've ever ordered is top quality and amazing. The caramel donuts are especially memorable.

Always rated this shop highly until now. Placed an order Thursday, went to collect it the next day after 10.00am to find that they hadn’t put the order together, asked what I had ordered but they no longer had 1 item so substituted it with two of another and didn’t charge me any extra. Took them back to work for my colleagues to find that the doughnuts were rock hard, they were extremely cold as well, suggesting that they were the days before and had been stored overnight in the fridge. My opinion of this shop has now gone downhill and will not order from here again

At first i was upset because i wanted to purchase a parrot, however when i discovered they made bread: WOW. Just WOW. Best bread ive ever had. Ive just purchased a bread bin to put their bread in. I'm so happy im not one of those gluten intolerant folk. Thankyou.

Great local bakery. In these strange times staff at Swad are friendly, helpful & understand our needs for bread, cobs and of course cake. Well done all & see you soon. You need to bring back the almond macaroons. They are the best ever.

One of swadlincote's best shops for great cakes , cobs , bread , great pork pies but the best of all " big cooked hot sausages with stuffing n apple sauce " hmmm lush !

We travel up to burton to visit family, we always book to collect pork pies, they are amazing.

Good place for bakes, and some of them have seating. The staff are helpful and friendly.

As far as I am concerned Birds are the only bakery I will use. Their cream cakes are the best as is the rest of their produce. I have shopped at Birds across Derbyshire and the quality is consistent and of the highest quality.
