Noisy but very popular venue for Sunday lunch. Portions are very generous but the food is well prepared. Beef is excellent. And the nut roast was also tasty and moist.

I came here with my friend for her birthday with her little girl as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is amazing especially the desserts. The restaurant area is small so I imagine booking would be a good idea at busier times.

After going here a few years ago and ending up with food poisoning I hadn't been back until recently and not out of choice my family had booked it. I didn't fancy anything to eat but had a starter. Wasn't anything great. Manager or landlord and staff could of seemed liked the wanted to be there. Not a place I'd choose.

Today I went to the pub with a great friend of mine. A nice little pub in Sandhurst! Great customer service, good atmosphere inside and outside and fantastic food. We Sat outside; it was quiet and peaceful outside. The carbonara I ordered there was fantastic! My friend really enjoyed his sandwich and chips. Definitely want to go again!

Haven't been since before covid. Always thought of it as a good pub. It was OK. I wouldn't rush back. The food was middling, the service was OK. I wouldn't not go, but there are other places I'd go first.

A large group of us returned here yesterday as we have done many times in the past 20 years for our Christmas Lunch and as always the food was delicious. I have been here many many times and the meals are always reliably and consistently good. So thank you to all the staff who give a fantastic service, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We will be back soon.

I am coeliac ordered gf food but was given food containing gluten do am now at home very I'll after being gluttened. We said when booking coeliac and ordered good that said gf but obviously never got it .so be aware

Cracking pub just next to the woods in Little Sandhurst. The food is always excellent and the staff friendly. Darts, pool, telly or a good chat as required.

Lovely welcome from the staff. The pub is split into two (pub and restaurant) with the pub playing sports, and there is plenty of parking too. The portion sizes are very generous and there was a good choice of gluten-free food. A brilliant find in the middle of a housing development but well worth a visit. Going to become one of favourite places to eat.

Recently visited as part of a large group of walkers for a post walk meal. Meal choices had been made in advance. We found the standard of food very good and value for money excellent. Staff worked efficiently and all arrangements worked out fine despite the numbers. Bar, restaurant and terrace to choose from. Pint of real ale (Tribute) was in good condition. Very pleased with our meal and would recommend this pub.

Brought the family to celebrate our son's 40th. Great family venue, staff friendly and welcoming. Wide ranging menu, tasty and well presented, including a great children's menu. Will certainly visit again!

Lovely country pub in the heart of Sandhurst with genuinely good food. There are two entrances, one is to the restaurant (where we went) and the other to the pub where you get sport screen and a more casual atmosphere. The nice thing is that you can go to either side if you want, but if you fancy a nice meal/restaurant evening, you don't have feel like you are in a sports pub. The pub is usuallu busy enough on the weekend to have a good atmosphere. The decor is a little old fashioned, and the table service can be a little slow. This is a local pub and no one is in a hurry. So as long as you enjoy the company of who you are with and your drink (maybe get up for your own top up midway) you'll have a good time. Its good food -definitely better than just pub grub, but still plenty of favourites (lasagna, nachos, burgers) if you are with someone less food adventurous (ie. Monkish, Thai curry, bourguinon etc...). But the deserts are definitely the highlight - so good. In total, if you have three courses and no wine, it comes to around £25/£30 a head. A good place to come to meet up with friends for dinner and drinks, with a decent pub garden in the summer (though it's more. Functional than pretty).

This pub was local to a friend of ours we were visiting so thought we'd give it a go. The pub has a cosy feel to it, with friendly bar staff. It is also split into two sides with the left hand being the restaurant and the right being the bar side, but you can eat on either side. The food menu has a lot of scrummy food to choose from and is not tied to a brewery set menu and comes out in good time and in generous portion sizes as well as being well presented. We would definitely visit again👍

Generally food was very good except for the apple crumble tart. Good service, however the tables, place mats and chairs need cleaning.

The food was really good for a local pub but the beer has been slightly disappointing. Apparently they do have some decent guest ales occasionally. The staff are very friendly.

Excellent pub for a cosy Sunday lunch. We had the vegan nachos (which are hands down the BEST vegan nachos either of us have ever had), followed by fish and chips which was delicious! Very friendly staff, everything is reasonably priced and of excellent quality. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The meat was good quality, Yorkshire puddings appeared to be homemade and the vegetables and roast potatoes were nicely cooked. Dessert choices jncluded Eton mess, fruit crumble, ice cream etc. Overall it was good food and value for money. We would be happy to return.

Wife and I ate here twice recently. Each time we share our meals. Both times my wife ordered lasagne which is delicious, ample and comes with a big pot of really amazing chips! Its also great value on their lunchtime special menu (noon to 3pm). I enjoyed the stroganoff (with rice) which again was very good indeed. Last Tuesday we added the trial chicken pot pie which as always came extremely hot, great perfectly cooked puff pastry on top and lots of chicken (and mushrooms) inside. Only downside was that the filling was a tad floury, it needed a drop of liquid/stock to round it off but we left feedback with the delightful Liz. If you haven't been, go. If you haven't been for a while, go back! Cracking meals...

So Good! Staff were so friendly and even apologised (unnecessarily I must add) for keeping us waiting at the bar for 30 secs. Happy staff, laughing with an assumed regular - which was so nice to see! Had a late 'light' lunch and was incredibly impressed by the generous portions. We're big eaters and the meal beat us! We picked the pub on a whim while our kids were doing something else local and will definitely come back. Catered to my vegetarian diet without hesitation and I'm a fussy eater but thoroughly enjoyed the entire club sandwich that I'd ordered with a little trepidation. Partner had a meaty open melt and I cannot tell you how tempting it looked!! Thanks for making our first meal out alone in yrs a pleasure, I just feel bad I didn't bring cash for a worthy tip.

Excellent. Stopped here for dinner and it was excellent. The food tasted lovely, massive portions and fast service. The lady behind the bar was very helpful and friendly. The nachos were fantastic with lovely flavour. The décor was typical pub and the place was clean and tidy. Overall highly recommend!!!

An excellent standard of food and probably the best place to eat in Sandhurst. The apple tart is very special and the name does it a disservice. This is unpretentious food cooked and prepared very well indeed.

Nice 'Sunday Roast'.....shame they no longer do a 'set menu'! Their prices have gone up considerably and they now add a 'service charge'! Unlikely to return! Their simplicity was 'their charm'!

The food was excellent- good variety and value for money. One of the best Christmas menus I have seen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the amount of diners packed into quite a small room - approximately 40 and the largest group were particularly rowdy and with no consideration for the other customers - my colleague was constantly being bumped as they were taking photos etc. We felt this really detracted from what should have been a very enjoyable evening.

The Sunday roast beef lunch was very good value for money . All fresh veg ,beef was tender and tasty , yorkies to die for . Would highly recommend. Will be ordering again .Well done .

We went as a large party for my husbands birthday. The food was fantastic and large portions. The staff were all helpful and we will definitely be going back.

My wife and I share main meals and today had the Beef Stroganoff and a steak & veg pie (freshly baked pot pie, not a slice). Three things; both meals were extremely tasty and very nicely seasoned with rich sauces; the portions are big (which works well for us when they taste this good and you are sharing) and although many would not notice, every morsel of the beef was gristle and fat free and there was plenty of it. Someone works extremely hard to make 'simple' pub grub become exceptional. Lastly, they do consistently brilliant triple cooked chips, the sort that others strive for but rarely achieve (we ask for them to be extra crispy which is naughty on the waistline but we don't do it that often so what the hell! Went for the Sunday lunch, genuinely great food, roast is a must, starters are lovely, great portions and plates are dressed beautifully. Only things i'd change is the décor in the restaurant, feels outdated, and the Sunday menu was a little sparse for such a talented chef. All in all, would definitely recommend this pub for food , also a nice place to go for a drink, very cosy.

Traditional pub feel. Could use a bit of decor update but otherwise a lovely place. Feels tucked away but is easily accessible from the main roads. Has a decent gluten free selection, I had the gluten free scampi (!!!). Offer cocktails alongside other typical draft choices.

We ate here for the first time on a Monday night last month. The food and service were excellent and our waitress was really friendly.
