Honestly thee worse bar I have ever been in! Ordered a drink at the bar and the bar man had put it in a cracked plastic cup! It had half spilled out and he straight up refused to give me another one, several people were at the bar and they all asked him to give me what I paid for! He then stropped off like a spoilt brat when we asked for the manager! This lady dressed in black came over and asked what was wrong, us assuming she’s the manager told her she gave us the dirtiest look ever and walked off! She acted so stuck up and rude I honestly could not believe what was happening! The ‘real’ manager came and gave us a drink! Whilst the bar staff shouted at us and threatened us with aggressive behaviour! Not sure if he’d just got out of bed the wrong side but hospitality is clearly not his strong point! Would avoid this place if you actually want decent service

Girlfriend was given entry but i was refused as i was holding her heals. Bouncer refused to share his name but this happened on the 27//1/24 at 8 15 pm

Will never go back here. Visited for the first time and my friend lost her phone, the staff had no compassion whatsoever - bouncers and bar staff are rude and person manning the ball pit wasn’t paying attention to what anybody was doing. I imagine it’s a regular occurrence people losing things in the ball pit, which is why staff are uninterested but there is no safe place to keep personal possessions so have to take them in. Maybe invest in some lockers.

I recently lost my phone in the ball pit while visiting for a friends birthday (i live a couple of hours away and was going home the next morning). After reading some of the other reviews I expected to never see my phone again, however when I went back 5 days later, the staff were so lovely and helpful and I had my phone back within a few minutes. Could not be happier with how kind the staff were.

Went in to this bar on a Friday evening where we found out they do 2-4-1 cocktails all night so me and my pals took full advantage of that for a few rounds, they also have a ballpit in the venue which we had a cracking laugh in although it’s much thirstier work than I remember as a lad! The staff were great with us having a great chat while making our cocktails, will definitely be back

Great atmosphere and new experiences, there’s a ball pit that is huge it so much fun, beer pong which is a competitive way to get drunk fast while beating your mates. Best DJ’s in Uk playing every night throughout the week. Would really recommend anyone to try this place out !!

Offered a free drink voucher on the street but then advised I could not enter because I am not a student. Blagged with old student ID card, spent a penny and then left. No longer feel welcome and will not visit again!

Went here a couple of weeks back with my BIL and his mates. Door staff were a bunch of scowling gorillas at the door. No ‘alright lads’, just dirty looks. Beer was tasteless and flat the bar staff looked at you like they’d just stepped in something nasty. Only stayed for a couple of drinks for obvious reasons. Walked past there on the way home and the door staff were roughing up some of the punters outside. Seemed to be enjoying it too. You couldn’t drag me back to this place. It’s got a nasty atmosphere and the beers naff.

Big brave bouncer boys beat up a young couple and stole their phones. Well done fellas! Great effort! Maybe you could be even braver and batter an old lady next time?

No stars, Bar staff rude, refused to top up a larger, then bouncers came over and started to drag my son outside, where 5 of them were hitting him, his girlfriend and my daughter and a friend tried to stop them they got bruises , their phones were taken out of their pockets by bouncer and taken into the bar, where they then shut the doors, tried to get phones back the next day and denied ever having them, reported all to the police. My son was then attacked by 2 more bouncers outside the bar and had to go to hospital. Please avoid this bar and be careful on west street in general.

Drinks Was OK (too much ice in them though). When we wanted to go in the ball pit, in the full group of 5, we was informed that we couldn't as 2 of the Ladies was not wearing socks, so we had to wait for the lads to finish and had used theirs, or was informed that we could purchase socks in the venue. And we was not allowed to play with the balls??? If that's the case why have a ball pen, balls are meant to be played with. When we left, had to Facebook message them to ask a question, been seen by them and not even a simple response from them to acknowledge

Bar staff cant be bothered.. Warm bottle of beer and ask for glass for bulmers and it was like i asked for the world .wont be returning

I’ve been here on a few nights out and have always had a great time! The ball pit is so much fun and I love their new addition of the photo booth! Drinks are super cheap as well!

Do not go here as a black woman, the uncle Tom bouncers will beat on you for simply rejecting their advances. They BEAT women for rejecting them. Imagine being punched in your head for simply saying 'no'. Disgusting behaviour.

worst club in sheffield, kicked me and my mates out for literally no reason when we were waiting to go into the ball pit. not only that but the prices are sickening as well as the thick black mold on the ceiling in the toilets. the damp smell is so off putting. avoid at all costs and go to tiger works instead🥴

Did not appreciate the attitude and facial expressions that the bar lady was pulling as my partner was ordering drinks, I believe her name was Winnie. Extremely rude for absolutely no reason at all, kept scrunching her face up every time he spoke - will not be returning, my friends also had the same experience with her at the bar. Very unhappy as I usually love this bar

Good prices.. nice atmosphere .. but the smell of damp is overwhelming... went to the toilets and the coating of thick black mould on the walls and ceiling is very off putting... I'm sure it's a health hazard...

Had an amazing night, good drinks, good atmosphere but my partner lost his lighter. When I approached a member of staff and they said to message their social media, messaged the day after on both socials, that was 3 days ago and still not heard anything. Tried calling but the phone box is full. Quite desperate to get the lighter back as it’s personalised and he’s desperate so I stop telling him off for losing it.

Good drink prices (at student prices with valid ID) and music is fire. Being in the ball pit is an absolute blast but if you are specifically coming here for it I would suggest coming on a weekday as queues for it can get long on the weekends/busier times. Place has great potential but needs to get more bar staff on to get through customers quicker

Horrendous! Queued to get in and bought a drink and then was excited to go in the ball pit then queued up for that on the rules at the side it didn’t say anything about not wearing socks so we took our heels off got to the front to be then told we needed socks to enter the ball pit. Person who was on font very unhelpful said hasn’t got a clue where we can get them from near here and they don’t sell them. All for students who go in trainers and socks. Not good at all

Didn't let one of my mates In because he's in shorts, fair enough, then wouldn't let another one of my mates in for wearing a bag and a hat, then wouldn't let another one of my mates in because he's wearing jeans and trainers even though my mates before us were all in jeans and trainers? Urm what?...

The place is OK, usually plenty of people in amd good music. Drinks are expensive and you are better off with bottles as the spirits always taste watered down.

Dress code only applicable to people the bouncers decide it should apply to as seen from a spectators point of view.

U will be refused to get inside if u wear anything related to a sports brands. No nike,no adidas,no air bubble,no Converse,no vans,no white t,no jeans,no full black ,no tracksuit...

You can only order drinks on their own app which adds a service charge and even have the cheek to add a tip on top of that unless you select otherwise, drink prices are extortionate for low quality drinks

Terrible experience paid £30 for 3 drinks, they were completely unacceptable, asked a member of staff about them and they just looked at us blankly, worked in bars for 10 years and I know the standards, drinks are definitely watered down, would leave 0 stars if possible, Do Not Go Here!!!

Poor! Poor table service! Told had to open a £50 tab and only had 45 mins so could have a refund on what didn't spend. Went for refund after to be told they didn't say that. So waited another 10 mins for a drink then left. Poor service. Watered down drinks. Trying to claw money back from customers. False advertising also.. 2 cocktails.. gummy bears should include gummy bear sweets, drumstick cocktail should include a drumstick lolly... no lolly. Despite being advertised and still charged the same for them. Would not come back, used to be a good bar. Vile dirty place!

I have heard a few complaints about this place from different men being refused entry for dubious reasons. It isn't clear if the doormen are acting on their own initiative or following instructions from management. Under the Equalities Act 2010 there are certain 'Protected Characteristics' that would constitute unlawful discrimination if entry were refused on these grounds. From anecdotal evidence (and this is only my own findings) the most common kinds of discrimination are based on age and disability. (I have not heard of any racial or gender discrimination though this is not to say others have not experienced this.) The door staff (although usually professional and polite) will give some vague reason for exclusion often concerning clothing or the catch all phrase "not tonight" which in practice means 'not tonight or any other night'. I would be interested in collecting evidence of other people's experiences of being similarly excluded and if they feel it is because of either their age (i.e. too old, NOT under 18) and/or a perceived or actual disability.

Large, loud and usually packed. But a great night out, and they have a great selection of drinks. Also a generous amount of seating.

If I could leave less than one star then I would. Place is dead and the staff brain dead. Music would only be slightly tolerable if you were deaf. Only reason we stayed for more than one drink is two for one.

One of the most silly policies I've seen on door, a guy in front of me in the queue outside with his girlfriend/wife wearing converse was refused entry because of his converse but the doormen allowed their own friends (4 exactly) inside straight in wearing Adidas and Nike trainers. Made us feel so bad that we decided not to go inside. Definitely a no go for us again.

Had to pay £19 for 2 double vodka and lemonades and 1 single vodka and lemonade. After enquiring why it was so expensive I was told by the bar man it's so older people don't get too drunk and start making a mess. I'm under 25 and was stone cold sober, ridiculous and rude. I'd give it a zero star of I could.

It is 2019 and we are at a small bar in sheffield, people wear trainers for comfort and practical reasons. So to not be allowed in becagse of this is just stupid. Don’t waste your time

Wicked bar, the players franchise across the UK is usually pretty good the venue in Sheffield is one of the best I've been too in a long time the music is varied, the staff are kind, and the atmosphere in general is really good pretty freindly in terms of what kind of group players attracts. Highly recommended

Cocktail was awful and at £7.95 each would expect better. Ladies toilets were disgusting, half with no handles and unlockable. One star is for the music.

Just been denied entry. Doorman says you can't go in on your own (If he'd let me in I would've been on me own see below). Have you got a woman? (thanks for not saying "loser" btw). Can't speak for the left hand bar but the right hand one I could see from outside was deserted. So why am I being discriminated against? 58 y.o. and overweight I expect. If so have the balls to say so Mr doorman. By all means exclude the "undesirables" if the place is full but when it's empty show some common sense and sell one overpriced drink ffs. Visited around 8pm on a Saturday night, the bar was pretty empty and the bar itself was ok pretty much what you would expect, however the ladies toilets were absolutely disgusting, there was a horrendous smell as soon as you walked in (possibly drains) one cubicle was full of vomit and there was toilet roll all over the floor in most cubicles and the floor was wet through as most toilets seemed to be leaking from the bottom all in all not a pleasant experience and dont think I will be returning.

They store the garbage cans outside the front entrance so it always smells like trash. Also one of my friends got spiked here.
