After a long day, we were looking for somewhere to eat. We had planned to head back the hotel and find somewhere. As we get off the tube to head back we found Bills next to the exit. We went in got a table straight away and had great service and good food and all at a reasonable price.

Soup & Half a Sandwich Pre-RAH pitstop - it was very busy & you are packed in! Nevertheless service was prompt, soup & sandwich with accompanying leaves were tasty & more than adequate. Lovely, busy atmosphere with great value for money!

Half way through a busy shopping day stopped here for lunch and it was just what we wanted. Great service and lovely friendly atmosphere and great food. I had the chicken burger which was so tasty and the girl serving us was very nice. Liked location as very handy in the hub of Kensington. The different chairs looked cool and were comfy too. Good meal.

Das Restaurant liegt in der Passage und zentral. Die Atmosphäre ist leger und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Gerichte (Fisch, scharfes Hähnchen, warmer Brownie und Schokolade Praline) waren sehr gut. Auch das Personal war zuvorkommen und Wasser gab es kosten dazu.

Noisy and crowded, the food is ok, nothing special, a place like many others with a very standard menu. I don’t think I will come back

What a great location. The restaurant is on top of the tube station and ideally located for all the local shops. The food is good. The poached eggs with avocado is a great way to start the day.

We arrived for an early lunch without a booking and the restaurant was already quite full - a good sign!We were seated quickly and drinks orders taken.Service was efficient and friendly.We enjoyed the main courses and desserts we chose although it was a little disappointing that the warm doughnuts did not come with the apple as described on the menu. Despite that, a really enjoyable lunch in a busy restaurant with a good vibe. Recommend you book though as if we'd been 20 minutes later I don't think have got in.

Lunch here on my own while in London for a meeting. We've been to other Bill's in Farnham, Horsham and Chichester and have found them to be good value and reliable. This one at the entrance to Kensington High Street underground, is no exception. Typical Bill's decor - slightly funky, ranch, style?The usual wide ranging menu. I had the sweet potato and ginger soup (£5.95) and the fish pie - a favourite (£13.50). Both good. Their menu with prices is on their website. Soft drinks expensive; I stayed with water and coffee. Service was prompt and efficient.Be aware that there is a set 12.5% service charge, "optional", already included in the bill. I much prefer this to be truly optional.The Food Standards Agency Hygiene Rating is a 5, the top mark - excellent. Inspection in June 2018.A reliable choice if in the area.

Bills has become a little bit iconic in Kensington High Street - with both locals and regular travellers in the know. Great staff, food and atmosphere makes this an awesome place for breakfast or lunch. One of my favourites - the “Garden Plate” - is a delicious and filling vegetarian breakfast meal. If you are staying nearby, or not - this is well worth a visit.

Wow! What absolutely amazing customer service we received from Bills tonight! The managers Ramiz and Naomi, and some of the waiting staff.. Ryan and Abdulla. An absolute credit to your restaurant. A few minor upsets and they went out of their way to make us feel special and valued customers. Five star service for sure.

Food was amazing service not so much. I had a green Thai curry which you could tell had been made fresh and was absolutely delicious. However, the service was quite poor and they added a tip onto the bill without telling us. I don’t mind giving a tip but give me the choice don’t assume especially when the service hasn’t been as good.

Really tasty lunch. I have been to a few other Bills restaurants where the food has been a bit hit or miss. Had a very tasty Southern fried chicken burger. Waitress was very attentive. Very enjoyable lunch

We try to visit Bills whenever we are in London about every 4 months. Food outstanding - Sourdough with hummus and salad outstanding. My husband has eggs benedict he said is was great

Heading to London for the weekend with our son, and having eaten in Bill's Greenwich in the past, it wasn't a difficult decision to book here as we were staying nearby. Friday evening delays on the tubw commuting from the airport meant a call to Bill's to say we would be late..despite the busy Friday night we were told not to worry they would take care of us when we arrived. What we thought would be no more than a 30min delay turned out to be a 60min delay on a very wet evening. Wondering what the attitude when we arrived was? Well it was warm, friendly, full of understanding and instantly lifted travel stress off the shoulders of parents knowing they had a tired and hungry 5 year old to manage. Quickly seated, order efficiently taken, dinner soon arrived. Yes the food was lovely, but on this occassion for us it was all about the lovely team who were working on the evening of the 8th November.

Food was very tasty, I had the fish pie as main which I would defo go back just for that. The waitress who served us was extra nice to us.

Met some friends there for lunch. The place is really nice with a good atmosphere. We had the Fish & Chips and the Chicken in a Mushroom Sauce. The Fish & Chips were excellent but the Chicken dish was bland and tasteless. Otherwise, service was good and with a smile.

A starter of calamari was light, hot and well presented. The minute steak and frites/salad was surprisingly tener with a mushroom or peppercorn sauce (both hot and tasty).Excellent and helpful service, explaining the most economic menu options, and ditto for wine. Prompt, efficient and really friendly service. Well done! And the decor and ambience were great.

Lovely experience. Food and drink for dinner last Saturday, very nice ambience, friendly staff and the food very good. Also loved the decor within, very tastefully artisan typical of some modern bars and restaurants. Would definitely return.

Pleasant casual restaurant right at the entrance of high street Kensington tube station. Inside and outside Good food and serves alcohol. Used outside seating to wait for family to arrive.

Walking through High Street Kensington Station, we found a gem, Bill’s Restaurant. Hesitant at first but decided to drop in for dinner. What a great place to eat! From the hostess to the server and to our meal, fantastic. Our appetizer was hot and delicious and our dinner was on spot. My steak was cooked perfectly and my husband’s fish was prepared very well. If anyone is looking for a great place to eat, drop by Bill’s, you won’t be disappointed!!

Stopped for lunch before a London Walks Tour of Kensington. Selected their half sandwich of chutney and cheddar cheese with pea and watercress soup and a green salad. Delicious! great value. I was able to be seated right away. Service was a bit slow, but I was in no rush.

A lovely casual restaurant just as you leave the High Street subway station is great to grab a quick lunch before as you arrive, or after as you leave shopping. Tasty surf and turf dishes in a classy casual atmosphere with cheerful attentive staff. Great value fir money too!

We visited Bill's off the cuff on Thursday evening and were seated within 10 minutes of arrival, even though the place was very busy.Our servers were welcoming and full of enthusiasm (especially Ryan!) and made time to chat with us and recommend dishes from the menu. We didn't feel rushed at all and both ordered from the very well priced set menu. When the food arrived the portions were good and the food well cooked. The brownie was amazing The only negatives were that I felt the restaurant could have been cleaner (a long-dead fly dropped from the ceiling onto our table during dinner!) and I'd have liked to have seen more staff on - our poor server was running on empty in the busy restaurant, but still made the effort to chat with each customer. It did mean a long wait between courses and for requests like more drinks and sauces etc. We didn't mind but I can see that others may.

Are breakfast here. Full English excellent quality - very well cooked and tasty. Lovely service. Good decor and ambiance. Optional service charge added to the bill. We deducted this and gave it as cash with the direction that it would be given directly to the staff.

Fantastic food, great setting and friendly staff and reasonably prices and right beside the underground.

As Bill's looked a fine place we got in for having breakfast. I choosed the classic scrambled eggs with bacon, while my wife opted for poached eggs on a toasted bun. Since the eggs were not hot enough, she got other ones (and her plate was removed from the bill !). The place was cosy, the food very much ok, the service impeccable : thumbs up for server Arianna !

Huge thanks to Ryan (waiter/host) and Naomi who welcomed us to the restaurant. Got sat down early when some of the party was running late.Food was great. Really had a lovely meal, with Ryan wanting everything to be perfect. He recommended items and obviously loves his job here. Naomi was polite, friendly and checked in with us. I visited here with a friend as we knew they are pretty consistent. How wrong were we! The service and food were really poor. Epsom, Kingston & Wimbledon are fat better!

Took our 4yr old along for a late night meal and the service was excellent. Made to feel very welcome. The food was very good. Opted for some vegan options and not at all disappointed.

We explained that we came for a coffee and were seated. It took a long time to be served, and when we beckoned to a member of staff her reply came with a distinct air of impatience. Eventually another member of staff took our order which took ages to come and was presented without the requested glasses of water. Coffees were OK but the level of service was not what we are used to from Bill's in other UK locations.

We have visited Yesterday with our friends to celebrate my Wife’s Birthday who was very sad about growing older haha. It was basically a surprise party for her. We have booked in table for 12 people. Our booking was at 7 pm on SundayWe went in earlier than 7 pm. Table was ready for us in the back of the restaurant. Host was fantastic friendly took us to the table. Our Waitress was fabulous who took our order perfectly on time. Kept checking on us time to time. I forgot to take her name. Nothing on the table was unnoticed for her. Service was outstanding. Drinks and food came on time. Everyone was happy with their food. We had a surprise cake for Birthday Girl. Our waitress took care of everything. We had a memorable service at Bill’s Kensington. I must give 5 star to our waitress. Well Job Bill’s Kensington. We had an amazing time

Great place to stop for breakfast as it is right at the entrance to the train station so ideal to fuel up before a big day out in London.Great service and very good food, loved stopping here for a meal or coffee because of the service.

I was on my way to the Irish embassy and had time for breakfast. The waitress was lovely. I ordered a latte and requested brown sugar. They only have white packets on the table.I also ordered eggs benedict with ham.The waitress asked me if I had any food allergies. I do. She said she would advise the chef to prepare my breakfast on a separate space... I did request the eggs be cooked without any floating jelly around the yoke. She confirmed cooked medium. The first egg was magnificent. Bright orange, free range eggs, however, the second had jelly floating. I could not eat it. The waitress brought over the manager who advised me she would take care of my entire meal. I offered to pay partial. No, she wasn't having it. I gave the waitress a good tip... Well done Bill's

We ate breakfast here on two mornings during our stay in London. While the breakfast pancakes were good (though accompanied by a huge amount of butter) other breakfast options were average - poached eggs were overdone. Teapots could do with a good wash.

Okay but very slow service. The breakfast items were delicious. Clean toilets and a vety beautiful place. They include a service fee in total cost but it's optional.

The food is very tasty and feels of good quality. The prices are reasonable for the standards of the area. The staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were walking around the Kensington area and found this nice little restaurant near the subway. We sat at outside tables and listened to street music from afar. I had a delicious kale salad with all kinds of veggies.

Went here for brunch with friends. Nice venue and we sat outside in the arcade which is a great spot to people watch.Menu is standard Bill's fare and we all chose different meals. One was delivered wrongly, which was pointed out at the time. We chose to keep the meal and asked for the order to reflect this. Upon paying, the original (more expensive) item was still on the bill though. We pointed this out and it was changed. We then asked for the bill to be split three ways but it was only split in half.The meals and drinks were excellent, but the admin side of things could do with some attention. The problems didn't distract from our enjoyment of the meals or venue and we would all return.

Great place to meet with friends. Best thing of all was our waiter, Alex. Friendly, listened to us, great service from him. Deserves recognition, Bills needs to keep people like him.

Muy pocas veces tenemos una experiencia culinaria para igualar a Bills ayer. Desde el principio hasta el final no se pudo criticar. Todo el personal con el que interactuamos fue de primera, la directora Martina es un brillante ejemplo de cómo se debe hacer. La comida era deliciosa, aunque el tamaño de la porción de la Wellington vegetariana era bastante pequeño. La salsa vegetariana era perfecta.

He estado en este restaurante en particular al menos 10 veces ya. Me gusta ir allí para tomar una copa o una comida después del trabajo con mi colega italiano. Es una pequeña joya maravillosa en Kensington High Street. Service was slow the table next to us had their order taken a minute apart from us but our food came 25 minutes later after theirs.Ordered Eggs Benedict but hardly any hollandaise so had to pay extra for more. Had to get up and go the till to pay as we againWaited for somebody to clear the table and bring the bill. Location easy just by the entrance to the tube. Enough staff working but still very slow.

Very long wait for someone to take order. My meal arrives 5 minutes before my wife’s . Had to go and look for it. Minute steak, every mouthful unchewable...again took a long time to arrive. Wanted to pay cash...yes that still exists!...took another 5 minutes, had to go and find someone to pay. They could not handle cash, so let me off £1.34 because no change available. Would be surprised if this Bills is still there in a few months time...customers next table also very unhappy. ...

Went for Brunch after landing in London. Everything was delicious. Really enjoyed the meal. Waitress was very helpful.

Bill's at High Street Kensington was just the right place for us as we wanted something British but not only and not “too British“ ;). Tea pot was great. Staff well organized and attentive.

After a very successful visit to Bill's in Maidstone, where our four kids ate for £5 each! I had no hesitation is trying Bill's High Street Kensington, and once again they delivered. The decor is great, a little tropical/colonial oasis off the hustle and bustle of the High Street, and tucked under the cover of the tube station.The food was excellent, the idea of water melon in the salad, something we have not adopted at home - very tasty. The service was excellent, even when we had a minor hiccup with the order; the waitress was honest about it and told her boss, who wanted to make amends, but since it was partly our fault for having a good chat with the waitress about Seville - in the middle of placing out order, we really didn't mind. Anyway, the conversation about Seville lead to the recommendation of their gin with Seville oranges - which went down very well. The price is fair for what you get, so I feel confident to walk into a Bill's anywhere, knowing I'll be happy.

Excellent, 5* Ambience perfect, staff very professional with subtle attentiveness. Starters and mains were delicious, reasonable priced. Would have no hesitations in recommending. Suitable for all ages.

We had about an hour to kill before we had to leave for the airport and were hungry, it’s Easter Sunday and a lot of things are closed. We see this restaurant a lot because it’s close to the underground and we use the underground a lot. We told the hostess we were short on time and could they get us in and out within an hour, and she said absolutely. When she sat us, she told us what to get on the menu that was quick and what to avoid. The food was very good and it came out very quickly. We were able to to eat and still able to get to the airport on time.

Food is fine, good choice. Staff (including chef de service) totally inattentive. Ordered warm water, came cold; ordered food without sauce, came with sauce. Attempt to remark that was echoed by 'well its not that cold 'well kitchen may has forgotten'. Be careful with food allergies here, they may forget this on the way to the kitchen.

Venu en couple dans un hôtel non loin avec ma femme, nous avons choisi ce lieux un peu par hasard en sortant du métro car nous étions en avance pour récupérer notre chambre. Et nous avons été agréablement surpris.La serveuse était très gentille, souriante et très professionnelle (elle ressemblait à Kirsten Dunst mais je ne me souviens pas de son prénom).Finalement nous avons tellement aimé notre petit déjeuner que nous avons fini par venir tout les matin de notre séjour plutôt que de prendre celui de l'hôtel qui nous revenait au même prix. Les pancakes bacon étaient délicieux ainsi que le Bill's Breakfast.

Visited here yesterday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was - service was superb, a great atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price. Well done everyone, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

We had a family brunch at Bill's yesterday to celebrate some recent birthdays. We were given a table for 8 in an upstairs position that was perfect as it also allowed us to place a high chair for our 1 year old nephew. Elsewhere in the restaurant it would have been difficult as it was so busy.The brunch menu was perfect for a family and the children's menu was excellent.The food was of good quality but the best thing was the excellent service from our waitress.Highly recommended.

I usually go here if I need a quick bite as it close to the hotel I normally stop at. I quite like the menu but would love it if there was draught beer at this branch. Service is not bad but if it is a bit busier or you are in the wrong place it can sometimes be slightly slow.

We have dined here many times when visiting London and have never been disappointed. The menu has a good selection, the food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. This is a hidden gem as you might not expect such a nice restaurant which is a part of the underground station

Contacted the restaurant very last minute as my parents had booked in for lunch just that morning. I live in Australia, didn't have high hopes but it was worth a shot giving them a call. The manager David answered and could not have been more helpful!! He was FANTASTIC!! All I wanted was to arrange a nice table but he went above and beyond. I had messages from both parents throughout, he made the day so special and memorable for them, the service was excellent, they loved the food and could not have been happier. A million thanks to David you are fabulous at your job!!

I came here for lunch and I was really underwhelmed by my experience. The hostess was really friendly but our waitress was pretty poor. I ordered the avocado and poached egg and when it arrived I remarked where is the avocado as it is usually the main part of the dish. It was tucked under the lettuce and it wasn't brilliant, they didn't taste that ripe either. The eggs weren't that hot either. Our waitress didn't seem that with it and even tried to take away our bottle of water, even though it had a third left! It is a good spot for drinks but not for food.

You must book it’s very popular, we were recommended otherwise prob wouldn’t have found it as it’s not in Kensington High Street, it’s in a little shopping arcade at the entrance to the tube station. Quirky interior, loved it. We had the fish pie, one of the best ever. service fantastic, lovely staff which in London isn’t always the case. Def go again

This is one of several eating places adjacent to High Street Kensington tube. Probably more expensive than some but a nice place to sit and relax. I had a good coffee, and porridge, which was served with a delicious nut topping. Milk came in a tiny churn. The waiter brought water and asked about allergies, a good idea to ask rather than just indicate ingredients on the menu. I would revisit if in the area again.

Nice staff and good food. Good value. Vibrant, young and attractive atmosphere. Conveniently positioned, very close to the Underfround station.

Surprisingly quiet at 8.30 but took a while for the coffee to come, not good to have to wait for caffeine in the morning! Hence only 4 stars. But nice staff and great breakfast. Lovely crispy bacon and perfectly cooked fried eggs.

Convenient located adjacent to High Street Kensington Subway and very good service. A good menu selection with competitive prices. Good was freshly cooked and served quickly. Visited with my sisters and even on a busy Saturday afternoon, the staff were all delightful. Happy and smiling despite the pressure. Manageress was incredibly kind to us and our waiter just lovely. Super friendly staff. We sat upstairs, it was fairly quiet, which helped to have a good conversation. Quirky decor. The waiter was super attentive and the food was great. I had the mixed bills platter as a main, which was more than enough. My friends fish and chips was according to her lovely. Lemon merengue was delicious with a coconut centre. Yummy! Apple crumple a bit too deconstruction for our liking. All still affordable and not too pricey for that area.

A busy restaurant, food was nice but nothing to really shout about, nice staff but we had a very slow server. He was more interested in chatting to other tables or clearing tables than actually attending to us. We spent a lot of time in the restaurant for only having 2 courses. It’s for this reason alone I give 3 stars.

I absolutely love the design of Bill's and this one definitely delivers a quality experience. A good selection of quality food to choose from, with a very friendly service from every member of staff. I recommend to anyone in the area looking for food.

Nice food with a reasonably quick service. Can become noisy sometimes, as seen to be a place for a quick grab during the office lunch break. Not a lot of room for people with wheelchair although they can sit outside; but a lot of people are passing by. Food well presented.

Very impressed as soon as We walked in absolutely loved the exotic Art Deco -Raffles style interior. Anna the hostess who looked after myself and my companion was beyond excellent and truly made us feel special.

We first encountered Bills in Lewis in Sussex and were so impressed that we try to find one on days out now.

During a stay nearby for the trade fair at Kensington Olympia, I visited Bill’s with several work colleagues. We’ve eaten here on previous occasions and each time we’ve enjoyed the experience. Once again we had good food and great service, worth the walk for sure. Bill’s is not only a great place to eat but the restaurant looks good too. All in all an excellent experience.

We ate here a couple of times when staying nearby. The menu was really interesting, lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff were very friendly. We had a young girl from Lithuania who couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely recommend Bill's for really delicious food.

This is one location in a fairly extensive London chain. I have no idea if the other locations are similar. The staff was so pleasant and attentive, I only wish the food has been better. Most of it simply was not very good.
