Bill's in Reigate and Banstead

I just don’t understand how this place is so popular. The service is hit or miss. The place is noisy and feels cluttered. The food is abysmal. Clearly all microwaved - eggs inedible, bacon rubbery, toast (well bread really) cold and sausage anaemic. Only saving grace were the mushrooms, but you cant really get those wrong out if a tin can you?! Coffee ok but all in all not a nice brunch.

What a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, with a great menu to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend Bills for a wonderful night out.

Morgan was a great waitress who was polite & had good banter. Gave honest opinions on the food which is appreciated! Food was yum, halloumi fries were the best I’ve ever had!

I went there with my family who came to visit..we were given a very warm welcomed with nice smile from Belinda and James to our best waitress/ Assistant manager Iulia who is definitely great acquisition to the team, the atmosphere was lovely as usual and the food delicious..the santorini salad was really delicious with fresh watermelon made by Christina and the chicken burger with double patty which my husband really enjoyed made by lovely Luca, Arthur and Josh. Iulia made sure we had everything we needed and the service was the best.

My family and I had a really lovely brunch at Bills Reigate. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with our little one. Big thank you to Fern who was super friendly and reminded us to get the ice cream for our daughter for dessert. Which she loved! Thank you.

Fabulous birthday meal for my son’s 9th birthday. They even gave his meal for free apart from singing birthday song. Our meals were good and so was the service. Fern took good care of us.

Unusually poor service,chaotic despite not being overly busy, order incorrect, food cold and clearly nuked going by texture. Will avoid for foreseeable future.

We visited Bills (Reigate) as a family of four. We wanted to take advantage of the kids eat free deal. Having visited for a work event a few weeks back, the service was not up to the usual standard that we receive when we visit Bills. Previously, Belinda always goes above and beyond to ensure our experience is second to none but she wasn’t around when I attended with work. Because of this experience, not to mention the cost of eating out as a family, this naturally made us anxious about returning. When we put money into a business, we want to get the best possible experience. And on this day we did! We were served by Fern throughout the duration of our visit and explained our anxieties. She was amazing! She put us at ease, kept an eye on our food to ensure it was brought out as soon as it was ready so the children weren’t waiting too long for their dinner. She checked in with us to ensure everything was ok with our meals and she made the effort to interact and communicate with our two children - age 2 and 4. The rapport she created was lovely and comforting. I wanted to mention her by name so she gets the recognition and praise she so deserves. Thank you Fern. You restored our faith in excellent service again and we will be sure to return!

Advertised on line as breakfast menu arrive at bills at 8.30am to be given a brunch menu waitress. Said we don’t do a breakfast menu. Clearly they need to change there online advertising. Ruined breakfast certainly ain’t brunch time.

Three times (three) over the space of a month, have we tried to dine in here. All three times we were met by snotty nose waitresses who felt it was beneath them to serve us and poor slow service. The last of the three times we actually walked out before ordering because the service was so poor! We hadn’t even been greeted at the table. I would make allowances due to the pandemic but staff were numerous and the occupancy was low.Never in all my time have I wished for a restaurant to fail as it is in a local area and could be replaced by a better chain and better standards.As for the staff, they should enter retraining in good manners, a better service or failing that, there are always jobs away from the public such as refuse collection!

6 adults and two children for breakfast. We booked, arrived on time and had our temperature taken, then were shown to are table. We all noticed the smell and ask are server to be moved which was not possible. The smell was human waste!! She informed us that she would talk to her manager and they had problem with the drains outside. We wanted to leave, although as it was my sisters partners birthday we decided to stay.The manager never bothered to come and speak to us. The food arrived and was stone cold. Congealed and not very good. The most disappointing aspect was I’ve contacted Bill head office and been given the runaround for a month. £118 down the drain and they don’t really seam to care. My advice would be to avoid Bill’s!

My husband and I were greeted by a very friendly waiter who accompanied us to a lovely outside patio area of the restaurant.We had three courses off the special menu and all of the food was lovely.The service was very good and atmosphere in the patio area was enchanting.

We visit Bills fairly often so have seen it in good and not so good times. Since it’s been taken over the food has definitely improved, it’s more expensive but more reliably good. With a family of 4 and some really fussy eaters we are hard to please but particularly enjoyed our last trip. The service was slow last time but not surprising given Covid. We have become addicted to the banoffi doughnut pudding - it’s sooooooo nice, if you like bananas you have to leave room for this.I used to have the app and can honestly say it never worked. As a Bills VIP I had to speak to them every time as it never registered me, even contacting the head office more than once. I’ve been told they’re retiring it - which I think is a good thing. I have some points to use up so I’ll be in again soon!

Came in last week and had an issue with the manager (Jill) as she was mistreating her staff and disrespecting them. Very unprofessional. Waiting staff on the other hand where very polite and cordial with us, resolving the issue we had. I want to commend Mia in particular who served us with a smile and was very attentive to our needs.

As the review I read from today stated, and I can back it up, ( all of the food was cold as stone,) items missing from breakfast, then came after ages, also stone cold, very slow service, few customers at 8.30 am, one member of staff thinks social distancing doesn't exist and a vile smell gusting from the toilets into the restaurant, apparently a blocked drain at the bar, despite the front and back doors of the restaurant being kept open making it freezing by the grumpy waitress who wouldn't get out of my way, oh, and a full refund for the food, so the hell we endured was cheap...wow, never enjoyed a free meal so little...Bank holiday staff shortages or just bad all round? Are you trying to go bust? Toast cold and covered with cold congealed sauce of some kind, no sugar with coffee, no spoon with coffee, shall I go on....?Eaten here in the past and loved it, service is always slow and inefficient but food is usually great, not today! Sack todays chef, or was it Basil Fawlty?
