Older woman sat us down at our table and requested payment before eating at this point I should of known we should of left as its clear now why they request payment before dining. The "buffet" is the worst I have ever seen, barely warm 3 choices of stodgy pizza and 2 pastas which tasted absolutely vile. Plates and cutlery were dumped in a pile on our table and were filthy with previous diners food still stuck to them. For the refills we were given cheap plastic throw away cups which were quite small. The staff are very unpleasant and very unhelpful, I then asked where the desert section was (this is usually present at any buffet restaurant I have been to) to be told there is none! Only a freezer on the bar which contained deserts which cost extra, there is no note on the freezer stating this and even witnessed staff taking ice cream from a child at her family table which was absolutely disgusting imo. Upset stomachs all round by all our table and think it's safe to say that we will 100% be avoiding this absolute joke of a "buffet restaurant" in future. Blackpool Pleasure Beach needs to remove this from its grounds as it doesn't look good on the theme park at all.

It started off strong, we were greeted and sat at our table pretty promptly after we had walked into the restaurant, we had also been told that the restaurant is table service. All seemed great at first, families that surrounded us had plates full of food with fast service so we had high hopes. However, 30 minutes after being seated we had still not been seen to to order our food and drinks, we understood the restaurant was busy but to see customers who had entered a while after us were getting served straight away, we were left with an empty table. Bear in mind our table was right next to the “please wait to be seated” sign, so waiters were going near our table, yet we weren’t acknowledged. After a long wait we decided to eat elsewhere in the pleasure beach.

We went in and the environment was eery and unwelcoming. We were served by a middle aged woman who did not seem to know what she was doing as she asked us “cash or card” then when one of us said cash she explained it was card only. For £17.95 the food was measly and it all tasted like it had been microwaved. We were given plastic cups and the cutlery had bits of food remaining on it. The lettuce in the salad bar looks as though it was there for a while as some of it was turning brown. The staff there did not smile once and just stood about. One of us tried to get a drink from the drinks machine but the woman that served us did not say that it was broken, and whilst we were trying to get a drink four staff stood and watched not bothering to tell us that it was broken. It felt like eating somewhere in a horror movie as we were just being watched when we were eating. It was as if the staff didn’t want to be there and it was an inconvenience that we came for a meal.

Unique restaurant with a stylish looking interior. It's spotlessly clean as well as being warm and comfortable when the weather is not so good. You can opt for the all you can eat buffet or choose a full pizza from the menu instead. Excellent views across the park as well to enjoy whilst eating. It's priced in line with pizza hut and other similar places so it's not too bad. They serve alcohol but only in bottles and you get unlimited refills of soft drinks with the buffet lunch. My only concern is that the service is a bit hit and miss depending on who is on duty and sometimes they're a bit short staffed. This can also affect the food as well. On the whole it's very good and well worth a sit inside. Looking forward to experiencing it next year as well.

If you order anything that isn’t the buffet food. Prepare for a wait. Only place in pleasure beach that offer something gluten free. After waiting over 30 minutes for my pizza we decided to leave and get our money back. After watching them prepare endless pizzas quickly for the buffet. If gluten free wasn’t a possibility my partner would have eaten a £4 burger from a stall. Now wasting £18 on a Buffet I had to sit and watch him eat and leave with an empty stomach. I asked them to compensate the fact we only ate here for gluten-free and ended up spending £18 for me to watch my partner eat. No apology from the staff working, in fact they didn’t even return to the table after us asking for an update. We have to go to the desk after watching the guy we asked doddle round. If they had returned with an update in time it may have been different but nothing. It’s hard enough being coeliac, finding places to eat and feeling like you’re making things difficult. This didn’t help. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

We had an American friend in our group visiting the UK specifically to visit BPB who has a serious gluten allergy and noting that the restaurant served gluten free options, we visited. When we identified this the staff at the door and throughout they went above and beyond to reassure us of the measures in place and what they would do specifically to avoid cross contamination. They cleared the kitchen with full scrub down and were so delicate with the preparation of the food, making our guest feel so comfortable and reassured. In particular the greeting staff of an older lady and a young gentleman who sadly we didn't catch our names gave wonderful service throughout. Thumbs up for the pizza too! My friend commented it was the best service she'd had for mentioning gluten allergies in a long time and it really cemented her day at the park. Nothing was a trouble at all, and they went above and beyond the minimum requirements in law, and made all of us feel so welcome. Thank you to all front and back of house staff on Wednesday - much deserved praise from us all, and it really mattered so much :)

Fresh salads which were always topped up and cleaned when any spillages. Pizza was nice, almost fried at the base, but we enjoyed it. Only criticism, would be the macaroni was bland, and although 23 degrees outside, the draft through the door left us frozen. We would definitely come back though.

Visited this place today as a family and we all love pizza and pasta. There was carbonara pasta and a pasta in tomato sauce. The only time I have ever experienced anything like the carbonara was when I recently papered the living room and got wallpaper paste in my gob. Nah that’s a big harsh on wallpaper paste to be honest. The pasta in tomato sauce was like it had been cooked by a nutty 5 yr okd throwing in anything the could get their hands on like tomato, socks, anything from the floor. The pizza So greasy I thought of lizzy dripping and how a tub of lard would have tasted better. It cost 40 quid including drinks. Came to the pleasure beach today and stopped at the pizza kitchen for some lunch. Was greeted by a very polite man who seated us at the table. Our order was then taken by an older waitress who was by far the rudest person who has ever served us at any restaurant. She shoved the “menu” in our face, written on a small notepad, and waited about 10 seconds before saying “have you decided yet?” very abruptly. We ordered a ham and pineapple pizza to share, and 2 Pepsi’s. She then brought over our bill (before we’d even received our food or drink) which we thought was strange, shoved the card machine in our face, and spoke to us with absolutely no manners at all. She didn’t explain why we had to pay before we ate, actually she didn’t say anything apart from the price of our order. (Which was an extremely over priced, £15!). The same waitress returned to our table with our drinks, slammed them on the table, and left without a word. We eventually received our food. The same rude waitress practically threw our pizza on the table and walked away again without saying anything! We’ve been to many restaurants and never been treated with such a horrible attitude. Atleast an “enjoy your meal” while serving the food?!? Anyway, it just gets worse. The pizza was a monstrosity. The grease was practically dripping off it. The base was raw in the middle, but crispy on the outside, as if it had been fried. Probably due to the fact it was swimming in oil. At this point, there wasn’t a waiter/waitress in sight for us to complain. I’m not surprised you have to pay before receiving your food, if we hadn’t of already spent £15, we would have walked out. The whole experience put a huge downer on the day. It’s a shame because all the other staff at the pleasure beach were lovely. I’d maybe look at some staff training in all areas of the restaurant. You can’t charge expensive prices and provide an awful service, with even worse food.

We were seated by a member of staff who kept repeating our order, I mean how hard is it 2 adults and 2 kids for the buffet and 2 unlimited drinks? The same member of staff brought our plates by clutching them to her chest. We were handed 2 small plastic cups and 1 plate each. The food was disgusting, pizza so thick, fake tasting cheese and grease everywhere. My little boy wouldn't eat anything and kept saying he felt sick. The pasta was horrible and all thick based pizzas. There are no toilets in the restaurant so have to use ones outside in the park. Also they make you pay before you eat like we were going to do a runner like a bunch of school kids. No desserts either. The only good thing about the place was there was hardly any people eating in there so no ques for food. AVOID if you can, there is a pizza hut right outside the park if you fancy a nice pizza meal.

Very reasonably priced, and while the selection of food isn't great, the quality is a touch above that of other UK theme parks with buffet pizza restaurants. Staff are friendly and while they were very busy today, they were apologetic and clearly doing their best. Really enjoyed our visit.

Went here for my grandson as he likes Pizza and had seen the board outside all you can eat Pasta ,Salad and Pizza thought will be back for tea for 2 adults and a teenager it was not overly busy when we went in at 20.15.It did have a lot of young staff around and the unfriendly young lady that served us after a wait what a delight Not...Manners and a smile cost nothing she took our money having charged for 3 adults at £8.95 each without drinks the 3 plates were not far from thrown on the table by her then we went to get some food only the only food they had a least 45 minutes I assume before they closed was 2 Pizzas and hot Mac cheese and Tomatoe Pasta. The Salad bar had a few lettuce leaves Nothing Else and dips I did ask if it was going to get more items other than lettuce to be told no..and they put more dip out no doubt to go with the lettuce.I was looking forward to having salad after a day of hot weather and ridesDue to the fireworks going down at get this 10 pm that evening and young staff needing breaks so the Manageress informed me after hunting management down .The manageress i did say if they could not provide the unlimmited food deal mentioned on the Boards outside they should not have had them up advertising so .I requested our money back and promptly got given back money for not 3 adults but 2 adults and a child the server had overcharged us so requested the money back initally paid!Very Very bad Experience i work with custommers and food and first and for most is to always give the customer a good product and help if needed lastly.Up until this time we had a great time at the pleasure Beach though will avoid this place at all costs

For a theme park restaurant the food was surprisingly good. The all you can eat buffet includes pizza which flew out so was always fresh, pasta, garlic bread and salad. The soft drinks were also all you can drink. It was all refilled quickly and was very good. The prices were very good for the setting. The service was awful as other people had mentioned which is ridiculous given that all they have to do is sit you down, take your money and given you a plate and cup but it did take ages and the staff all seemed to hovver around not knowing what they should be doing. Our only major complaint however was the lack of High Chairs I could only see a small number and all were in use so the 18 month old with us had to stay strapped in his buggy to eat, luckily our table had space to allow this but we could see others similarly so and others where parents were struggling to manage with toddlers on their knees or climbing around on chairs - as this place is based in the young children's area of the theme park you would think they would have a decent number of High Chairs given it is their primary audience.

Either come earlier or later, not 12 - 1 cos its packed, good food and cheaper than getting a burger meal from a vender, plus toddlers don't pay but still get a plate

We stopped for lunch during our day at Pleasure Bach and preferred here as a large eating area much less crowded than other options. Staff all seemed a little bemused as to what they should be doing service very slow which shouldn’t be the way in a buffet style restaurant. Our server seemed very inexperienced which is fine if just learning job but it then seemed all staff seemed unsure of what they should be doing. We seen a few people leaving as they had waited so long on a server coming as you need to pay in advance and receive plates before you can go for food. We also noticed family at table next to us complaining to management as they paid but server didn’t come back with their plates and refillable cups. We did enjoy the food pizza was very good with good range of toppings. The staffing just seemed very chaotic training definitely required of all staff.

Food was tasty but not much variety. Staff, when we arrived, were not helpful and when we were shown to a table which was too small and asked to be moved, the staff member rolled his eyes.

I had three hungry children and the Big Pizza Kitchen hit the spot. I paid under £15 and they could all eat as much pizza, pasta and salad as they wanted. What's not to like? Food looked tasty enough. Sadly I could not join in as I cannot eat gluten or maize and the gluten-free base they offered is made with maize flour. However, it wasn't too much trouble for them to check the ingredients for me so I could find out whether it was an option for me.I knocked one star off as I would have liked an option of something I could eat. I sat and watched my three children eating and was unable to join in despite the tempting smells. Also I think a little more variation on the pizza toppings might be good.Still a very good value lunch for children though!

Firstly, visited Sunday 17th March 2019, 13:30 and it wasn't that busy. 3 members of staff waiting on in the restaurant. One I presume was a hostess, as she didn't seem to clean tables or take orders. The other two tried to keep on top of taking orders, then bringing the card machine, then bringing plates. So yes that's right 3 visits from your server until you can actually start to eat. In between sorting out hungry customers I think they were supposed to be cleaning tables which they just didn't have time. They had no idea who to serve next so I had to grab one as we were being ignored as others came in and got served before us. During this time the "hostess" came over twice telling us we would be served soon.. I thought if she cleaned some tables or helped serve rather than going round telling everyone we would be served soon it would have helped.Whilst we were sat there we saw one table of 11 and 3 tables of 6 leave as they were not served within reasonable time. Total that up, it's well worth employing another member of staff so you don't loose business. At the pizza counter the young man serving didn't seem to know what he was doing, he actually got shouted at my the female kitchen manager whilst we were there as he just plonked down pizza anywhere he felt. He also told my daughter who was waiting for garlic bread that they "weren't doing any until later now", which was false as it appeared a few minutes later. The Pizza kitchen seemed to struggle keeping up with demand in a not so busy restaurant. I hope the service is reflected by the start of the season and I hope they are working towards better service, as the pizza is delicious. If all the pizzas are available there is a variety including a delicious veggie option. The cheese which seems most popular with kids as it's plain literally vanished as soon as it was placed. The pepperoni in my opinion is the best pepperoni I have tasted ever so far. There is a range of salad available which was clean and well stocked and you help yourself to drinks which is good. Overall I was disappointed in the service, hopefully as the season continues this will get better but you need more than two staff for sure. Maybe even they should have a card machine on them so they only take order once?
