Fantastic staff , great for kids , lovely service and a great price

Called on for a large coke woth a little ice, the labeled coke glass was not filled even with the ice in which I thought was poor to start thank god the staff were very friendly. In top of this the food was awful. I only had some cheesey chips, when all of about 12 of them arrived they were undercooked, in some sort of microwave dish with a small shavings of the most bland attempt at cheese I've ever eaten. I wasn't expecting much, but even so this was very poor.

Amazing customer service came with my 2 girls for mothers day had a lovely lady take my order and a lovely man bring our food..such a nice environment to be for mothers day thankyou for making our day special..I can't remember there name but I made sure these 2 employees got a tip before we left

Was absolutely great. Food came out hot and looked so amazing on the plate. Ended up having more drinks and a dessert. Scottish lady couldn't do enough for us thank you for a great evening.

Visited here as part of our stay in the Premier Inn next door, had dinner and breakfast. Could not fault either, food was excellent, great variety and reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Brought the kids to the play area and it was a really nice day, kids played we had food. Katie who worked in the wacky warehouse was really efficient and kind with the kids. We will be returning.

Extremely dirty pub. Went just for the wacky warehouse and it was extremely dirty. The baby changing smelt very bad. It did not get any better when going it to the main pub either.

This is amazing! Great atmosphere and service was brilliant. Chloe who works there was lovely and made us feel welcome and was very helpful and patient. Couldnt recommend this place enough!!

Been to the air balloon a couple of times and for the most of all it was a good atmosphere. The service was great and the food was what you expected.

The female member of staff Demi is a massive credit to the air balloon and the manners politeness Demi expressed where outstanding she fully deserves a promotion and pay rise she's a keeper. Will definitely be returning and very highly recommended Demi definitely 100 out of 10 and food was great

Always a friendly reception with or without our dog. Food has always been good and reasonably priced for the portion size.

Food was ok. Place felt dirty - needs a good clean.

What a shame made a point of returning which was for a late valentines meal. Half items not available on the menu. Advised unable to eat cucumber but salad arrived full of this. Was rectified by a the young man serving. Chicken was dry and hard on the exterior so did not eat and took home for the dog (he is not as fussy). Staff wise original member who took our order polite pleasant and cheerful, young man that served the table polite and friendly however wished he had not asked how our meal was. Finally the female that took our dessert order was rude, unfriendly and presented as could not be bothered. I unfortunately will not be a returning customer and will advise friends of the experience I had this evening

Lovely food, great for families.

We popped into The Air Ballon for a post Blackpool meal. It's a Hungry Horse and makes no bones about it so you know what you're getting and so we wasn't expecting Haute Cuisine, Michelin Stars or Home Cooked food. Essentially we expecting budget belly fillers at an acceptable standard and a relaxed family friendly space. The place is a bit tatty at the outside with peeling paint and rusty bits and bobs around the front. But it's the end of winter at the coast. Inside the pub was warm, spacious, comfortsble and clean, a huge bar dominates with vast arrays of spirits, but sadly not a single draught ale was available. Only carbonated bottled ale. Are you sure this is a pub? The drinks oddities didn't stop with no draught ale, apparently they don't do half pints of soft drinks only "pints", if you want a smaller measure you have to buy a bottle. But; It didn't end there with a 2 pints of coke being dispensed off the post mix machine leaving the glasses underfilled by over an inch easily 10-15% and not topped off as you'd usually expect. Food was ordered from the menus, we started off using the app, but it was a faff and quickly deleted and in the end it was easier and quicker to go and speak with the human. The menus are quite large (and sticky) and there is an array of offers that quickly becomes overwhelming. The food, Sunday Roasts, arrived in a timely fashion and was perfectly acceptable and as you'd expect basic, ordinary and belly filling to an extent as the portions seemed a little meagre. The staff were friendly and happy to help, but in all honesty I won't be rushing back. The weird bar / drinks thing being the killer. There are plenty of places that will serve food of an equal standard or better, draught ale and full measures nearby for around the same price.

Life saver as a Monday babysitter. Always there, reliable and ready. Nice clean friendly place. Great in quiet times for my 2 year old.

All I can say is fantastic we arrived it was very busy and we imagined there would be such a wait on food and drinks, but to our surprise the manageress treated us like we were the only people in there, she was polite, informative and very attentive even though she had a very busy pub to manage. Top notch would highly recommend.

Mixed grill is the worst mixed grill I've ever spent money on... Sausages cold, and taste like they've been sat there for hours before serving. Chicken breast rock hard, steak also rock hard. Impossible to chew . Peas we're like they were raw. Nearly £8! For nachos that they shouldn't even label as nachos on the menu because they're far from it. Not worth £4 never mind £8. Lady at the bar was miserable & huffed & puffed when requesting items to be removed from order. Only thing passable were the chips. Coke was flat, asked for ice but got none. Won't be returning £40 down the drain

Food was speedy but missing 3 items and half was cold so sent back. Was quick to replace. Had to ask for a high chair because they weren't "in the usual place". Rather haphazard, have been to better establishments.

Arrived for food, food came fast and of good quality. Came on a Friday which meant there was an offer off BOGOF on burgers! Yummy! Then went into the play area which was fun for our 5 year old! Full of lots of families which made it a very nice atmosphere to!

Love this place the staff are always really friendly great food as well as great prices Popped in for a bite to eat with my daughters we had 2 ultimate combos and a cluck and cheese sharer its was delicious we also had a few cocktails and shots excellent value for money

Been twice for breakfast, first time was great, second time the chef didn't know how to heat the holindase sauce so it split, half the menu was off so things needed to be substituted, we don't mind as we have worked in F&B before and know how busy things can get. But the staff were rude when bringing over drinks and did not seem to care about the disabled toilets being trashed and it was more of a problem than anything that they had to go sort it. Disability pull cord tied out of reach too. And as a person with disabilities this is not good customer service.

We have visited as a family for years and have seen several changes in decor and management. I have to say the current management is brilliant. Great food, excellent service and a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I can fully recommend this venue for families, couples or friends looking for an affordable and comfortable place to enjoy drinks or a good meal that doesn’t break the bank.

Lovely pub, amazing atmosphere however I my severer Kelsey really went above and beyond, she shared her personal favourites and she did not disappoint, honestly she made the night 100x better. A big friendly bubbly personality a proper credit to your pub.

I have just come back from the airport valloween travelled from wigan as wen we av been in summer it was good but 2night was another level we was sat there with are coats on as so was everyone eles are food was freezing I couldn't wait get out of there o rating from us my daughter couldn't get a knife threw gammon brought it home for cats

I love the air balloon every time I'm in blackpool I always come to eat there, the food is always quick and hot, and the staff are absolutely amazing, I would recommend this place to anybody. The experience is amazing, they've even got a Waky Wearhouse to entertain the children

Visited yesterday and loved it, extremely friendly staff, great portion sizes and the food was cooked perfectly. Service times were good, we didnt have to wait long and the staff were very attentive. Only grumble I have is that there were no draught ales. Special mentions should go to Kelsey, Courtney and Katie, all were a pleasure to meet.

Arrived at the sir ballon this evening 8.10pm to be told the kitchen is closed no good only drinks . The website says the kitchen is open until 9pm . Total waste of time . Shan’t try to visit again or recommend you have yo give them one star or you can’t post on this site. So had to award 1 star that they are not entitled to

Food was good, had no complaints. Its value for money especially if you go on one of the promotional days. Service was fantastic. They were polite and attentive throughout our time here. Kelsie took our order and was brilliant. Was pretty quiet so wasnt much in the way of atmosphere but the music was nice and everywhere seemed clean

Place is okay if you need somewhere to take the kids indoors. The climbing frame is a bit basic and children's area feels a bit cramped. Staff are friendly and it was easy to order my food and make adaptions to the ingredients. Food arrived hot and quickly. Would recommend

Very glad this play area exists as another place nearby was closed. It was very quiet, only 2 or 3 other kids on a tuesday morning. A few hot drinks available and fruit shoots. Clearly in need of some tlc - minor repairs needed in the play area but not unsafe, toilets were dirty but stocked. Food was nice and arrived hot. Can recommend for coffee & work for mum whilst 3 year old has a brilliant climb and slide!

As you would expect good reasonably priced food and kids area was good as well
