Big Lola's Taqueria in Cheshire West and Chester

I LOVE the nachos at Lola’s, expanded my visit today with the halloumi burrito bowl and it was fantastic. Really nice size portion for the price and lovely Avocado as an extra. Tried the house fries tonight too which I added the house dipping sauce - delicious !! Will be coming back for as long as your serving !!

Poor customer service, in general no issue, but today they cancelled my pre order because it used discount offered the day before. I'm not going to place the order again at full price so all they did was lost a sale and soured a previously positive opinion I held of their restaurant.

If you want the full Mexican taste,then you have to pay extra! Extra for guacamole extra for hot sauce,extra for jalapenos.extra for soured cream! I wasn’t going to write this negative review but after telling them face to face about this dissatisfaction and more recently about finding a long hair in my burrito and being told the staff member with long hair didn’t have anything to do with food prep( she was using the till 1.5 feet away from where the burritos were all lined up open and being prepared) The young man had no interest in my complaint,was not forthcoming in customer recovery,apologised as he walked off,I will not go back. Cheshire oaks has a much better Mexican at half the price’Tortilla’s’

My review is purely based from one visit, so I can’t comment on the entire menu and previous negative reviews about portion sizes. HOWEVER, their Birria Tacos are truly sensational. £8.75 which I thought was a bit steep as their prices used to be lower (I think) but I would definitely order them again. I’ve been to regular taco places but these were by far my favourite. Would highly recommend and will be returning to try other items on the menu!

We visited Big Lola’s on November 7th and left disappointed. The halloumi burrito bowls, which we usually enjoy, came in much smaller portions than usual. This led us to order more food, unexpectedly increasing our bill. The substitution of quinoa with a lesser amount of rice also didn't meet the usual standards. Considering the £29 we paid for two main courses, the value just wasn't there. I reached out via email to address these issues but haven’t received any response. It's disheartening not to have my concerns acknowledged. I've been a regular at Big Lola’s and expected better customer service. This experience makes me rethink my future visits.
