The best shop in erdington town i would recommend to everyone they best always in quality and clean shop and always friendly people from staff

Absolutely fuming, ordered a simple meal and it arrived completely incorrect and drowned in a sauce I cannot physically eat, tried to ring 5 times and they hung up on the 5th try.

Missing items yet again. Can't blame uber they only deliver the bag. Trying to get through to this branch on phone is a joke. Enjoy the pizza I paid for because it's either in your shop or given to someone else. Is a quality check not done?

Recientemente visité Big Jonhs en Erdington High Street Birmingham con la intención de darme un capricho con un cubo de fiesta de 10 piezas de SFC. Cuando hice mi pedido, me informaron que tendría que esperar 10 minutos. Me pareció bien, pero después de 10 minutos, terminé esperando 20 minutos adicionales sin ninguna actualización. Sintiéndome frustrado, me acerqué al cajero para preguntar por el retraso. Desafortunadamente, no me dio una respuesta completa. En cambio, se acercó a sus colegas, y todos parecían mirarme sin ofrecer ninguna ayuda. Volví a preguntar cuánto tiempo más tendría que esperar, solo para recibir una respuesta vaga de que serían otros 10 minutos. Después de perder 30 minutos esperando mi pedido, decidí dejar la tienda y hacer mi pedido en línea. Around 11pm stopped to get chicken and chips. I enjoyed them

Thought I’d give this place another try because we can all have an off day. Wow never again! Chips were stale , order was cold, asked for sauce on the burger and there was none. The curry sauce was so watery and for the 2nd time your delivery driver looked at me like he had just trod in something. I hate throwing food away but we couldn’t stomach it 🤷

Absolutely appalling service! Ordered off UberEats and had a Pizza missing. Decided to ring Big Johns, after being cut off 3 times they finally picked it up. The man was very passive aggressive and rude, he didn’t even bother asking about what the order name was or the product which was missing. He straight up decided to place the blame on uber and the driver. How could the Uber driver take the product when the packaging was sealed and stapled. The seal was not tampered with at all, seems very disrespectful to just blame the innocent driver on a mistake YOU guys have made. I then requested for the uber eats number, apparently he doesn’t have access to the number and told me to ‘search it up I can do it myself’. Firstly, he lied about not having access to the number. I’ve worked in a restaurant previously and he did have access to uber eats number but just blatantly lied to me. Secondly, the fact that you didn’t even bother checking with staff about the missing product is honestly ridiculous. No professionalism nor customer service skills, shouldn’t be working for a place you clearly lack skills off. I still haven’t received my missing item or refund, pathetic.

Disappointed the delivery driver told me not to order from here and to order from Lawley as it's closer. Erdington is 3 mile away.....We order from Erdington as the food is usually better than Lawley and the customer service from Lawley is shocking tbh. If delivery area is an issue why is there not when the order is placed Will order elsewhere since it's inconvenient clearly. Food disappointing tonight. Chips and naan are not fresh.

Food arrived late, delivery driver was rude and didn’t bring to correct change meaning I had go wait by the main door for him to go back to the car and come back again (I live in a flat). The food was cold, and the garlic bread was rock solid we couldn’t eat it 🤦🏼‍♀️I understand it might be a busy night but still not great…

I accidently ordered my food to my home address the driver rang me and i apologised and asked him to deliver my food to new oscott he said no i re -ordered my food to new oscott the same meal and he came with in 10 minutes with the same meal cold

Xlean place nice staff but food quality has gone really down chicken is dry as anything chips some r crunchy some are soft very uneavenly cooked. Peri chicken is dry they very stingy on the peri sauces on the chicken and the chilli mayo salad portions. Also the boneless breast piece and chicken pieces are tiny for the price. The chicken donner is nice the lamb donner is better

The restaurant is 5min drive to my address and the food was stone cold!! And not the first time!! Will not be ordering again !!

No complaints about the food but can you tell your drivers to stop taking 15 minutes to give me my change. If I want to tip you, I'll tell you as soon as I give you the money. You don't need to stand there messing with change untill the customer gets board of waiting and just wants to eat their food.

I've never had such tasteless, soggy, greasy stone cold food like it ! fried chicken greasy, soggy and stone cold down too the bone 🦴 , chips cold wet and soggy, lettuce brown on the soggy chicken burger 🍔.. Appalling !! I wouldn't recommend first and last time AVOID ⚠️

Thin base pizza could be a bit thinner but was hot and very tasty

food we "ok" smaller portions than expected, but that wasn't to much of a issue! However the food was COLD and I needed to reheat all of the order!!!!

Even though there is not a place to dine in, it offers a very good menu till 3AM, which is very essential for night drivers and there is parking nearby in the High Street after 6.45 PM.

Avoid this place. Ordered off Uber eats was expected the food not to be piping hot but at least mid temperature, the food was absolutely freezing, I l ordered a sausage, donner burger and a portion of wedges. The wedges were stale, the donner was so black and burnt and stank like it has been sitting there for days and the sausage was absolutely freezing and it looked as if it hasn’t been cooked from the inside. They need to be shut down or some serious health precautions need to be taken into place for serving people food like that it’s taking the piss.

I had a terrible experience at Big John's in Erdington. I ordered two chicken burgers and asked to upgrade them to meals with chips and drinks. The guy serving me clearly heard my request, but he purposely overcharged me. He charged me for an extra burger and added the cost of one chips and drink, even though I was getting chips and drinks with both burgers. It was clear he was trying to take advantage of me. The food was also awful. The burger was dry and cold, and the chips were like cardboard. I only went there because it was my last option, but I’ll never return. Dixy does much better chicken, and Mother Hubbard is far superior for chips. Please be cautious when ordering here and always ask for your receipt, as they seem to purposely withhold it to hide overcharges. It’s probably not the first time they’ve done this, and it’s really disappointing to see this kind of behavior.

Food was cold, mixed meat kebab was only one meat. One kebab was only half a pitta. This is the worst food we’ve had from here, it’s a first to be honest. Has there been a change in management?

Food didn’t arrive despite Just Eat saying it has. Tried calling the delivery driver & store but the line has been busy the whole time. We even waited an additional hour as it’s Xmas, but there is no communication or update from the store.

The food is nice, sadly couldn't enjoy all the items since you guys forgot some, and then said the delivery guy will come back in 10-15 minutes, but guess time works differently since it's been more than an hour and nothing, been trying to call you guys, but instead you keep refusing calls. I used to love getting food from Big John’s in Erdington, Birmingham, as the food and service were great. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The chicken has been incredibly dry and chewy, with a plastic-like texture. When I brought it up with the staff, they just insisted it was freshly cooked, claiming it had only been made “10 minutes ago,” which didn’t seem honest. It’s sad to see the quality go downhill like this. I hope they make some improvements soon because it used to be so much better!

My order arrived quite early, but when I opened the box, I noticed that the salad was missing from the healthy meal deal. I promptly contacted the store via telephone they assured me that they would send me the salad as soon as possible. However, it’s now almost 5:41 p.m., and my food has gone cold while I’ve been waiting for the salads. I’m deeply disappointed with the service from the store, and unfortunately, I’m unable to eat the cold food. To make matters worse, I haven’t received the salads either.

I did not received my order and may not continue in patronising your business because of this reason. I couldn’t track my delivery on the map and no one gave me a call to claim my delivery.

Walked in and ordered a pizza but when selecting the toppings I was told there is a limit to 4 topping with extras at 50p each. Please update your signage John, as customers don't know this until the order is payed for, the 4 toppings is inadequate. Staff seemed disinterested and lacklustre when questioned. Shame as I've been coming here since its opening but I probably won't bother again.

The door knocked and I shouted through the door that I was looking for my keys , I then went through the back door and no delivery was left and there was no one in sight

Their foods always delicious and on point , the staff are always beyond sweet and kind , whether u buying food in the restaurant or delivering on just eat , they'll never disappoint. I'd highly recommend trying the Mix Kebab and Chips

Not the best branch around. Found hair on the chips, missing drink from a meal i ordered (they gave a straw though lol?). Curry sauce was too runny for my liking - other branches have more flavourful, thicker curry sauce. My burger was missing relish (i didn’t ask for this to be removed) Don’t think I will order from here again. Disappointing.
