Disappointing Changes in Service and Delivery Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ I have been a regular customer at Big Joes and had previously given this place a glowing five-star review. However, I now find it necessary to revise my rating due to recent issues with their service and delivery. While I understand that prices have increased, I don't believe these changes have been accurately reflected on the menu. Previously, I had tried their peri chicken, which was absolutely amazing. I couldn't find anything comparable in Milton Keynes. Unfortunately, the lack of delivery options to most locations is highly disappointing. It has become inconvenient for me to order from this place, and as a result, I won't be able to return. I hope Big Joes takes note of these concerns and addresses them, as I genuinely enjoyed their food in the past. However, until the delivery options improve, I can no longer give this establishment a higher rating.

Great for the money good food

Awful disgusting food, sent us chips covered with donner kabab meat no salad or pitta bread, or chicken!!! We ordered a mixed donner kabab - the meat looked like it was old couldn’t even look at the box, went straight to the bin and had to order food from somewhere else

Pizzas did not have a very nice taste and were very dry. 1/4 pounder burger was okay, but the chips were stale. We ordered a can of mango rubicon with a meal which we didn’t recieve.We also ordered 3 chocolate fudge brownie ben and jerrys ice cream tubs and recieved 1 and the other 2 were completely different flavours. When i phoned back to say what was wrong the man told me “they were the only ice cream flavours we had left in the freezer”. I replied saying that he hadn’t told me that before i ordered so that isn’t my problem i haven’t received what i asked for. He was very ignorant and rude and ended the phone call when we asked for a refund. After eating some of the food, all 3 of my family members are now suffering from food poisoning! Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Management of this place changed just over a year ago. And wow, what a steep decline it's had. Last order I made wasn't even delivered. After waiting two hours I called to find out they were shut and wouldn't be delivering the order. Now all the opening hours have changed and they're barely open. It was one thing claiming to be open until 2:00am but actually closing at 12:30. Such a shame, was a good place when Joe ran it.

I will give 2 stars as their food is good. We have ordered from them so many times and recommended them to friends and family but now I will be taking those recommendations back and telling them to avoid. Their online system has decided for unknown reasons that they no longer deliver to my address, I called up and explained and he said that they do deliver and he could take my order via phone. I asked if they would still apply the discount that you get when you order online, he said no. I asked if that could be changed due to this not being my error. He just said no because I'm not doing it online. I said that I won't order from them anymore then and he just said OK and hung up. You'd think they would care about loyal customers but apparently not, hence taking the recommendations back

So apparently Ali on the phone likes to just hang up on you when you try to explain you can't order the vegi wrap on there online service so need to do a phone order. He said he was the manager which he isn't as I've met the manager before good guy. just ashame he can't hire reliable staff.

Have ordered from here many many many times because I've always enjoyed the food. Today will be my last order from this company forever. After waiting 2 hours with no food I called up to ask if it was coming. Was told it was already delivered to me, they gave me a description of the front of my house which was totally wrong so obviously delievered to the wrong people. Was told they would sort it out. An hour later (so 3 hours in total now) I call back to ask and the guy on the phone accuses me of trying to scam them and suggests I have done it before. Totally idiotic that they can't seem to look at their records and see how much money I have spent ordering from them and how I have never had an issue before. So now no dinner for me tonight and i've lost the £25 I spent as well. The food is good, just be careful in case they decide to eventually rob you like they did to me tonight.

Unfortunately I have deleted my previous review and done this new one. All pizzas and garlic breads tonight were overcooked, either that or they have reduced the amount of cheese topping. The pizzas just looked like they had been thrown together. No white mozzarella on the special and the cherry tomatoes were tasteless. Is this company under new management or something? Chips were good and the delivery driver was kool.

Undercooked chicken had to get uber eats to step in to refund us. The was blood still in the chicken and this is not the first time. Will be getting the hygiene people in.

Arrived an hour early. Whats the point of a time estimation? If you have no concept of time, puzzling. So much cheese its unreal. Not nice either i would avoid in the future at all costs. Original Italian pizza or even American is far better, i aint sure what this is but it's like someone described a pizza to this lot and they had a go!

wont be ordering again twice now we have ordered a peri peri pitta meal and the chicken wasn't cooked properly but this time there was still blood in the chicken, shame because when i started using this place the food was really good... But im assuming its the same as every other place more they get known the food quality goes down also (Requested a refund from uber eats)

Treated myself to a buy one get one free. Ordered over the phone, and collected. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pizza was sooooo good, hot and fresh. Definitely having again.

Ordered via Uber, didn't arrive, no communication, phones constantly busy. I provided all delivery information in Uber so I don't know why Big Joe's could not see it, I normally get a phone call from the delivery driver when they are in the street but I didn't get any form of communication. If they didn't want to deliver it then they should have cancelled the order via Uber so I could see the status and not get billed. I now have to deal with a situation where the restaurant has taken my money and not delivered my food. I'll avoid ordering from this place via Uber in future.

Pretty decent pizzas for the price to be fair. Garlic bread was nice also. However, their side dishes such as chicken kebab, fries, samosas etc. aren't great and need working on

Very poor delivery took 1.5 hour. Only 10mins away. No excuses for late delivery.

Disgusting. Avoid. Gave us wrong drink. There was no cheese on the burger. The mozzarella sticks were stale and cold. The order arrived 30 mins late.

Late night delivery gem! Nowhere else was open, and they delivered quick, with for food matching all expectations. Reasonable price and just what I wanted. Thank you guys 😁

Never been to the location however I get Big Joe's through Uber Eats pretty often and I LOVE Big Joe. Everything always arrive super quick and steaming hot. I've got all my friends hooked now too. Tip everytime I pre-order 'cause I know it's gonna be good. Called 'em once just to confirm something, and I dunno if I spoke to the big man himself but regardless, they were friendly and very sincere. Joe's the man!

Very fast delivery and piping hot food. So so cheap. 10/10

Ordered very late last night as they were the only place still delivering. The food was really nice. Despite it being nearly closing time all our food was really hot when it arrived so had definitely been cooked just before being sent out to us. Portion sizes are really good for the price and the delivery driver was even early. Will definitely order from here again.

Usually my go to place for food past hours but could not order last night, food always has been good and look forward to it after a drinking night, but disappointed for the first time due to not being open apparently.

Very long delivery times for food that is mediocre at best

Terrible! donner meat was cooked medium rare and cut too thick whilst the chicken was dry and bland like cardboard. The free pizza was oily and also had no taste.The only place open at 2am in milton keynes, but it shouldn't be open at all! For the next week after had terrible diarrhea and sickness. Needed antibiotics and a few doctor trips

Late Saturday night treat delivered quickly and very tastey, result!

Have used this takeaway alot and always happy with the food...however, tonight 26/10 the food was cold, the chicken kebab was mushed up not the big bits of chicken I normally get...didnt even taste like chicken...also I think the sauce should be served in pots as mine didn't have any on it but my daughters was smothered in tomato sauce and she couldnt eat it...really disappointed...what a waste of money...most of it ended up in the bin...myhusband tried to phone but nobody answers the phone

I ordered 2 pizza that were not meant to be spicy but it were so spicy that we couldn't eat them. Very desapointed.

Food was under cooked, garlic mayo tasted slimey, chips was greasy and under done. Never going to order again! Yuck !! 😡🤮

Placed an order on just eat at 11.50 pm and it was cancelled by big joes at 12 pm.

Took forever to come, the chicken fillet burger was good, however the chips were incredibly soggy and definitely weren’t cooked properly.

Lovely! Never disappointed, we have tried a lot on this menu and it is always enjoyable. Good value for money, delivery quick and friendly! Definitely recommend

TERRIBLE - ordered food at 12.23 after work for an estimated delivery time of 1 hour to then not have my food turn up and no answers on the phone and when speaking to an operative of just eat they were so rude

Pizzas seem to be made out of poor quality ingredients. Incredibly artificial dough, everything is way below acceptability... on top of that, pizza boxes are a waste of paint and a lack of taste...

Ordered a 1/2 pounder spicy burger with extra cheese slice and salad. Really tasty burger, they use the cheap thin patties that most kebab or pizza shops use but I reckon that's to be expected. And they're not bad, just not amazing. The salad was crisp, the patties were cooked perfectly and the cheese and sauce was perfect too. Item ratio in a burger is important and they nailed it, especially impressive at midnight on a Saturday. I'll 100% be ordering again. Big Joe, you're the Boi x

Been waiting for delivery over an hour! Pizza dough very oily and i think it was stretched out of deep pan base into the classic crust.been working in pizza shop 5 years so i know what im talking about. Wont order from there again.

Ordered chicken wings and pizza. Chicken wings were raw and uncooked. Not impressed will not order again.

Including to tonight we have ordered 3 times. The first 2 times the food was cold however we decided to give them one more chance. The food was 45 mins late, warming and part of the order was wrong. We are about 5 mins away!!!!

Ordered for collection. Wasn’t kept waiting at all and the food was still piping hot when I got home. Had the naga doner kebab. Didn’t have anywhere near the spice I’d expect from naga but was possibly the tastiest kebab I’ve ever had. The meat was thick juicy and very tasty. If you can handle spice slightly hotter than medium then don’t be put off by the word naga. It’s well worth trying.

Both the kebab and chips were so soggy they barely had any texture. Some of the chips were not completely cooked through. Will not order again from this place.

I have to travel from bedford to get his burger and wrap that I can’t get anywhere else. He knows what his doing. His chicken wrap with pineapple is so tasty. I hate pineapple I thought it be a weird combo, I can be a very fussy person when it comes to food. But he knows What his doing. Speak to him directly and ask for his own recommendations. I think lot of people are missing out on his specials by going through just eat or just looking at old menu. A phone call will get you the food that you want and how you want it best advice, plus he will give you 10% off when you collect it. If he doesn’t say sham from bedford gets it lol hope it works 🤪

Delivery drivers cant follow simple instructions. Food delivered cold with the pizza looking like it had been thrown about in the box. Really distgusting delivery all round!!
