Biffen's Kitchen in North Devon

We absolutely loved our breakfast here. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Lots of choice and was prepared fresh and fast. We both had a flatbread with different toppings and the hash brown bites. All really delicious. Will definitely be retuning.

Taking into account the almost unanimous 5* reviews, it seemed like a great place from which to order food on our first evening in Croyde. The staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly but, sadly, we were disappointed by the food. It was Japanese Katsu night and I ordered 4 Japanese Katsu curries to take away at a cost of £60. The breaded/battered chicken was over cooked, very dry and tough to bite through, so much so that my elderly in-laws gave up and left most of their meals. We might have been unlucky but won’t be rushing back.

Excellent and delicious food…. Served with a smile. Potato puffs are SO good after a day in the wind and sea….. definitely the best street/fast/convenient place to eat in Croyde.

Biffens kitchen is set on Ocean Pitch campsite and sell very tasty street food. I had the Chicken Katsu which was very tasty along with some mouth watering loaded potato puffs. The team are always happy and just add to the good vibe of the site it’s situated on. Eat outside on the tables provided or takeaway if you like. Definitely recommend to give this place a try, highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect street food! Food looked vibrant, colourful and most importantly it tasted delicious and was bursting with flavour. They've got some cool benches just by the van where you can sit and enjoy your food with a drink, or its a couple of minutes to Croyde beach which is a fantastic location to eat as the sun sets. Brilliant experience, really friendly service too.

Ordered the katsu curry and gyozas - love both but the gyozas were the best I’ve ever had. Amazing food and great service, will be coming back as soon as I can.

Outstanding home made cooked food and the friendliest staff. I solo travel and just little things like they remember your name and have a convo about your day/plans go such a long way! Highly recommend a visit here and love the variation of choices on the menu - the hasbrown bites are truly amazing!

Stayed at ocean pitch (also 5*) had dinner and breakfast the following day at Biffin's kitchen, exceptional. Service is friendly and warm, food is the best in both value and taste anywhere. I'd travel the length of country to eat at Biffin's, don't go anywhere else just eat there.

Unbelievably flavoursome Katsu Chicken with Gyozas and Puffs. Had this when visiting Croyde last year. So pleased Biffen's was back at Ocean Pitch campsite this year for our stay so we could have it again. The team are always so happy and friendly, and the food is sensational. Looking forward to next year's visit already!

Incredible food. In croyde with a party of 44 people - used Biff for the food on the beach. Arrived hot and delicious. Everyone in the party raved about the food. Later in the week 6 of us visited for Japanese night and again we were not disappointed. So so tasty. So much so we went back for breakfast the next morning. No photos to show because the food was pretty much gone before we thought about it! Wish we lived closer because the food is unreal, but a 10 hour round trip for dinner is probably pushing it 😂

We visited a few times on our weeks stay in croyde and each time the food was delicious and we were always greeted with a friendly smile. I would highly recommend the squid katsu curry and potato puffs on Japanese night!! It's in a great location to grab a morning coffee and a breakfast barrel after an early walk up to baggy point. Can't wait to visit again next year!!

Wow top breakfast with great coffee followed by awesome Morocco dinner. Fantastic food and such a warm welcome. A must visit if you’re in the area.

These guys are AMAZING! So great to find filling, colourful, vegan food and carnivore food all in one place. There's great views and the lads are kind, and passionate about what they do. We will be visiting every time we visit.
