Amazing night ! Gordon Hendricks as Elvis! Bibs is SO good at making it a night to remember and this was definitely one never to forget! Atmosphere electric, service excellent. Slight delay with our food but it was worth the wait ! My burger was one of the best i have had and my friends both had Roasts which they loved! Marvellous and memorable night!

Came here with a group and the food quality and portion sizes were spot on. We pre ordered when booking which made the experience a lot easier on the day. One thing would say though if the starters are quick big portions so bear this in mind if having both a starter and a main!!

Wow what a night, a Cher tribute in a busy restaurant was not what I was expecting but it was incredible. I recommend anyone visit when the live acts are on you won’t be disappointed. Seafood platter was my choice and my partner had fillet steak which he said was succulent and in a rich sauce. We will come again for the fun that’s for sure!

Went with 7 friends to Bibis afternoon showtime to see Fleetwood Shack who were truly appalling! Food good, drinks extortionate , decor and atmosphere great as always ( we are regulars) but standard of show really bad. It’s an expensive afternoon out so very disappointing. We left 10 mins into show it was so bad. I’d advise anyone to really pick the artist before spending the money!

Always a great Sunday spent here and it feels special the restaurant is beautiful and classy the food and service spot on and the entertainment brilliant. Never had a bad afternoon here we will be back

You cannot beat this beautiful establishment on the decor, you feel like you are in a roaring 20s throw back establishment, wonderful, but I also like all the bars where you do a secret knock and are transported back in time to a 20s style bar!!! Staff are very efficient & tentitave, food delicious, I had Pork Belly to start and lobster pasta for main .. delicious.. Thank you Bibis you never disappoint.

Many locals referred this place as being a long standing Leeds favourite, describing it in a way that I was expecting a traditional cozy Italian restaurant where Mama still bosses the kitchen and she will happily produce an adhoc Spaghetti Cartoccio for you So when a colleague confirmed reservations here for a supplier dinner, I was excited The outside already provided a preview glimpse of my initial thoughts were not going to come to fruition Entering the place, you are immediately transported back to the later 70s/early 80s In fact, our supplier associates were already in there and their first words to me were “Welcome to Miami!” We were seated away from the stage, to the side, but a large screen TV told you, you weren’t going to miss out And so was the case, when Lady Gaga appeared on center stage, not only was the superb speaker system deliver her talent to your ear drums, but the TV sparked to life for you to enjoy the choreography of her backing dancers The food itself was OK, with everyone being satisfied with what they had, including one of our Italian guests Service was efficient all evening, I wouldn’t say friendly, but more of they didn’t seem to want to be there kind of way Clearly a popular location for a certain local based clientele that probably books themselves on a cruise ship or Butlins during the summer - however, it provided an evening we would probably not forget in a hurry Would I return? Depends on who I’m with and how much I have had to drink beforehand

This was our first visit to Bibis and it was an amazing experience. We were there for The Overtones showtime with dinner. The food and cocktails were exceptional. The decor is beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Fabulous service. We will be recommending this venue to all our friends and family. We have re-booked already! Can't wait to go back.

Had a fabulous evening in Bibis, wow what a night! Fantastic food, a brilliant atmosphere and wonderful service. We can’t wait to come back, Bibis is our favourite restaurant in Leeds, no wonder it is still going strong after 50 years!

Went for my 28th Birthday celebration! The place is just beautiful! The staff as super friendly especially Ross! The food was beautiful and fresh! No faults at all! We were booked for the showtimes of the Icons of Soul! And they were incredible! Got everyone up and dancing including myself and my boyfriend on stage! Don’t hesitate to book! Any occasion big or small I highly recommend!

We went to Bibis Showtime yesterday with Elvis , the food and service were excellent . Two Italians in our party were absolutely delighted with the quality of the food , the burrata was exceptional as was the Parma Ham and Ricotta. The pate delicious Main courses all great the Gamberoni were superbThen the show ..... well just fantastic . Great staff and a fantastic experience

Came earlier today for food. Have really been looking forward to the booking as always wanted to try here. We ordered caprese for the starter and there was a black hair underneath the food, to the latter of my husbands starter. Btw we are both blonde. I Informed the server who gave an apology but nothing else. I would have refused payment for this course but my husband is too polite. It put him off for the rest of his meal there and he felt that his main, lobster linguine was bland. Will not return, customer satisfaction is not on the list in this case. Service was very slow too. Unfortunate really.

Well, having heard all the rave reviews I decided to give this a try. I was very excited to go, expecting something special, did I get that? No. Service was slow, some staff seemed pained to actually help. The food was mediocre at best, the cocktails were ok. Was it worth the money? Absolutely not. Overall I was really disappointed and these guys should take a leaf out of, for example, Rinaldis Wakefield’s book. If you review this restaurant as excellent then you should really get out more, there’s far better out there.

Booked a table for 4 for 5.00pm Sunday lunch and paid a £20 table deposit. Arrived and was offered arguably the worst table in the restaurant set off from the main restaurant in what appeared to be a converted outside area with rough tiled floor. We said this was not acceptable and asked to be relocated. We were told this was not possible due to an event taking place later that night. We chose to leave and this was agreed by the restaurant staff. How disgraceful that you would now go ahead and charge us the deposit. I will not let this drop and will pursue refund. Booking name Kaye on Sunday 23rd May. Please refund immediately.

Great to be back here after 2 years for wedding anniversary... tremendous food as usual. Great friendly service . Will be back again very soon .

What a an amazing dinner, food was super atmosphere was brilliant. We had a waitress called mesi and was very attentive to my family with 2 younge children, everything we asked for she did with grace and such a good attitude. We have been coming to bibis for 30 years + never a bad word to say.

It had been years since I’d eaten at Bibis so we decided to take advantage of the eat out scheme. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great and we had a lovely evening that didn’t cost the earth.

I love Bibis. Felt totally safe with all the “covid” precautions taken. Booking on line was easy food was amazing as always and the staff were attentive, efficient, friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return.

The only bad thing I could possibly say about Bibis is the fact the food was served that promptly that we wish we had had longer to enjoy the atmosphere. The man inside watched my Mother struggle to pull open the very heavy glass door, Didn't offer any help then barked at us "masks have you got face covering"..Help with the door and a "hello" would have been a nice start..Inside there is stunning Art Deco interior, Attentive Service, Good size portions. The Creme Brulee needs vanilla pods in it as quite tasteless. The young Italian waiter with the twinkley blue eyes, earring, red tie was appreciated. Would reccomend and would return, possibly for one of their Sunday music events.

We held our wedding reception here during the ongoing pandemic. The effort, skill and commitment was truly remarkable and something we will be forever grateful for. Luciano's team went the extra mile to make our visit truly special whilst adhering to all the enhanced safety measures they had worked tirelessly to install. The food has always been excellent and we have enjoyed visiting over the years but what blew us away is their delivery of this intimate reception at such a difficult time.Every single guest praised the staff and commented on how much they enjoyed the meal, wine and atmosphere.

Not been for over a year but the venue still impresses, staff excellent and very generous food portions too.Dined in the restaurant area and was lovely to hear the trio playing some great ballads from years ago. Especially loved their rendition of Mona Liza.Wonderful evening and went home nicely full and humming some of the tunes I heard.

Fui aquí para mi cumpleaños, muy buena comida como siempre. El portero se había alejado, así que cuando llegué a la puerta, apareció a la vuelta de la esquina y nos gritó que necesitaban una reserva cuando le indiqué que tenía una, dijo "nombre", parecía nervioso y luego abrió la puerta. Si eres portero, aquí tienes un consejo, no te pierdas, ¡no agradecería que me gritaran! ! Se amargó un poco los primeros 5 minutos. Mi esposo no quedó impresionado.

Correcto eran empezar. . . . Bibis tiene un gran sitio web que no le dará una buena impresión de lo grande que es. Si lo que buscas es romántico o tranquilo, este no es el lugar, es como un salón de comidas con muchas mesas. Buen servicio en cuanto a cortesía. En cuanto a Covid, no le gustaban las personas que usaban máscaras cuando no estaban en la mesa y el personal no detenía a las personas sin máscara. En cuanto a la comida, estaba bien, nada especial, me temo. No estaba mal, pero estaba lejos de ser genial, cierto tipo de sabor barato y alegre. No volvería. Ah, y dice en su sitio web que hay un código de vestimenta informal elegante, qué carga de basura es la gente en pantalones cortos, camisetas, joggers y zapatillas de deporte. Pero no es un mal lugar, la comida está bien, el servicio es bueno, pero no es para mí, lo siento.

Have wanted to visit this location for many years but was always booked up and following our visit I can understand why, due to lock down the amount of guest was reduced but for me it was perfect. The service food and ambiance was fantastic and all I can say is a big well done to the staff and management for getting this event on. We will return

Went here with my wife, we called about 4pm, and lucky enough they said they had a table and that was the best part of it. Went in ordered 2 starters, 2 main meals and a bottle of wine with some water. 10 minutes later, 1 starter is shoved at the table, waited no drinks yet!!! 5 minutes later the second starter is not there yet s are the drinks!! We asked a waiter where the drinks were and the second starter? They brought the drinks and we waited for the starter. Eventually it arrived, the starter was good, the main meal was OK but I would have preferred them not to pour the steak source on the steak, put it in a small container or whatever so I can put how much source I want myself !!! But that was ok. We ate , we paid and left notvthe best but was ok. An hour later I receive a call saying from the restaurant saying I have not paid!!!! WTF???? I said I paid and have receipt, apparently they forgot that they moved us to a different table!! Its a big restaurant please allocate waiters to sections so they can look after a certain section and they will know what's happening . First time and i will not be coming back anytime soon, San Carlo it is for me.

A little bit disappointed. Went here as a ‘good luck off to uni’ family meal for our daughter. Food was good but didn’t feel like a special/memorable experience . Service was patchy. Our waiter was good but very difficult to catch someone’s attention despite the fact it wasn’t overly busy. Just not as welcoming or as atmospheric as I remember. We were all a bit disappointed. Won’t hurry back.

This is a large ultra modern Italian restaurant but with good food. On arrival had a warm greeting and immediately shown to tables outside and asked if we'd like the stay there and as it was a very hot evening we elected for this.The food was of a good quality and quantity. The garlic mushrooms in a lot of restaurants are often four to five whereas here it was a bowl full. It was the same with the pasta dishes as often it's a case of finding the meat but not so here as there was a good quantity within the pasta.The service was good with attentive staff despite being on an outside table which are often forgotten about at other places.The interior décor is ultra modern and a bit flashy with a lot of shiny surfaces which detracts from any intimate homely feeling. However it is all very clean.I'd certainly visit this restaurant again and would recommend it as enjoyed the meal.

Lots of recommendations and really looked forward to our visit while visiting our children in Leeds. 830 table. Had to wave a waiter to order drinks, and food @9.10. Starters took an age to arrive but very tasty. We then sat looking at empty plates and empty glasses for an hour. Yet again we had to wave to attract a waiter and ask how long til mains would arrive. 4 meals and vegs arrived @1020, except the 5th meal, due to error on order one meal had been missed off by waiter. That was delivered 6-8 mins later but by then, appetites had gone and despite looking great we all said it was far too late and that ruined the evening.Would I go back? Quite an emotional visit on a Sunday showtime with the band that had not played since March.Was great listening to live music again and staff were super attentive and friendly. Owners have thought out the covid secure arrangements well and seem to be looking after the staff. Although face Shields are not ideal they have given all the staff what look like cutting edge ShieldsHand sanitizer is placed at various places around the restaurantFood was brilliant... girlfriend had Sunday roast and the beef was really tender, I had pizza which was very nice.Thanks guys for great music, service and food

Don’t visit this venue unless you like to be lectured on the seating arrangements. We politely requested a change of table and we were made to feel unwelcome by three staff members. We’ve not even eaten our food yet and our night has a real shadow cast over it.Hopefully the entertainment can salvage the afternoon.

Bibis is one of those places that i have always wanted to visit but for what ever reason never managed to go. I had a chance to rectify this for a relatives 60th birthday. Out of curiosity i read a few reviews before and the reviews are mixed so was slightly sceptical. I don’t like giving bad feedback as people tend to focus on the the negative. The food was good not great and I would say it’s a tad overpriced for what it is. However, it’s run really well and the staff are very professional and very inventive and friendly. The band that was on was fantastic and it was great to hear live music again during these uncertain times.

We booked a table for 2 online and once there we were impressed with the 2 front of house ladies and the covid precautions. The restaurant is quite spacious so it lends itself to distancing.Anyway, we were seated and a lovely waitress came and took our order for food and wine.The wine came and it was warm so the waitress immediately replaced it with a colder bottle.Food came and it was quite delicious and plentiful.The only downside was 3 large tables with big groups on them and the noise was deafening and children were being allowed to do as they pleased.2 tables nearby asked to be moved but we stayed put and watched the large family floors how. Very entertaining!All in all...Good foodGood wine (eventually cold)Pleasant and efficient staffLovely restaurant

Looks premium from the outside but this place is like Butlins. It had one of those terrible pub singer acts on with the music booming so loud I couldn’t hear my mrs on the other side of the table. Honest to god it was so loud, and he was jumping about in a sequin shirt trying to make people dance... we laughed cos we wondered if we’d walked into a Butlins tribute act night... Cringe. Not what I want when I’ve come out for a meal.Food was bland, loads of my pasta was stuck together which is very, very poor for an Italian restaurant.Wouldn’t recommend at all

The food at Bibis Italianísimo was delicious. I recommend the lasagne and the sharing dessert platter, which contained lovely mini desserts. The portion sizes are great, the waiter was friendly and the service was quite quick. The prices are reasonable - especially with the Eat Out To Help Out scheme between Monday and Wednesday! I recommend Bibis Italianismo for amazing Italian food, brilliant service and great value for money.

Our son took us here for our first time last night. He is a regular. I couldnt believe how gorgeous it is. The place, the staff, the atmosphere and the food. Wow! Front of house and the service was impeccable as was everything else. There was a Frankie Valli tribute band on and they were just something else. We loved every single second of our visit. I didnt want to leave. We certainly can not wait to come back. Thank you so much everyone at Bibis. I love you all.

We don’t come often and this time I brought my 16 year old daughter. Our meal was lovely and service matched the beautiful decor. My teen loved the experience. Thank you

The building decor plus the atmosphere in this place is wonderful. The food is also tasty. However, I'd say the food is more rustic and simple and hence why I don't feel the prices are justified. Also, I ordered the PORCHETTA ALLA ROMANA E CAPESANTE, and it said it was served with king scallops (plural). Whereas I got ONE scallop and it was really small - yet it cost £18 for basically pork belly and mash with a thin slice of black pudding (the scallop was so small it might not have been there). It was tasty - but £18 for essentially pub food?I had crab pasta for start and again, tasty and comfort food - rustic. Was it worth the price? Definitely not - the chilli was tasteless. Not much food choice on the menu.. in fact the menu is pretty standard to be honest. Nothing really stood out. No specials also. Bit "meh".Presentation isn't great also. This also applies to drinks as I ordered a decently priced white wine - yet it was served in an extremely thick and heavy clunky glass. I felt I was drinking from a pint glass!It's an unusual place because the dishes were tasty (albeit the tomato pizza was awful)....As I say - it's Okay! Pleasant atmosphere, tasty food - but not quite THERE to justify the costs. I'd either chose a rustic, authentic Italian restaurant at slightly lower costs, or go somewhere more expensive that puts more effort into its dishes in future. Unless I fancy watching a 60s tribute band - I don't think I'll be back.Bibis needs to decide what restaurant it wants to be especially as they don't have show nights each day if the week.

Food was good however it was taken away before we had finished. I nipped to the toilet and when I retired to the table our food had disappeared. We told the waitress and she just shrugged and walked away! Prob won’t visit again. We visited Fazandas last week and the service was outstanding compared

My wife and I visited this fantastic Italian restaurant to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.Due to the worrying times at present we just kept our party to 2 people.This venue is out of this world. The food is exceptional, the staff are friendly amazing people and it was one of the most relaxing experiences we have encountered.It was a pleasure to be here . We came here on Friday evening for dinner before an evening out for my husbands birthday. The service was spot on and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the profiteroles they are delicious! We came with another couple and we all said we would love to go back for the entertainment evenings! The restaurant is decorated fantastic, I didn't feel like I was sat in Leeds! Thankyou!

Visited Bibis last night for my birthday. Excellent service and fantastic food. The servers could not have been more helpful while still observing social distancing. Lovely touch to bring a cupcake with a sparkler in at the end of the meal.

We usually visit Bibis for the live entertainment on Sundays so it was strange to see the restaurant with fewer tables and all the staff wearing visors.on arrival we were shown directly to our table where drinks orders were taken quickly.We had cocktails which were delicious.Food was delivered quickly and if I am honest was even nicer than it was before lockdown,really fresh and nicely presented.The venue felt safe,clean and following the necessary guidelines.Lovely to see them open again and can’t wait for the Sunday fun to start again.

I used to enjoy going to Bibis as the atmosphere was fun and the food was delicious. I am assuming that they have had a change in staff as the food was very poor and reminded me of a chain restaurant Italian. I would not return.

We went on super Saturday and were really impressed with every aspect. Warm greetings on arrival, and was looked after throughout.Food and cocktails were incredible, can’t really fault it in any way, one of the best places to go in Leeds and definitely the best Italian.We were also pleased with the amount of effort all staff went to to socially distance. We felt safe the whole time. All staff had visors, there was hand gel stations throughout and floor markings to ensure a one way system. The restaurant is also massive so the tables were well spaced out whilst still having enough people to have a decent buzz and atmosphere about the place.

Really wanted to go to bibis for ages as it looks from the outside like a funky 20s themed restaurant. We walked in and saw a big empty stage hundreds of tables and loads of birthday party tables. We were expecting a great gatsby themed place and possibly live music. We were wrong. The place was crowded and so loud you could barely hear eachother talk. There was no atmosphere and we were really disappointed as it was a special occasion. In a positive the service was quick and very good and the food was nice. Unfortunately won't be returning.

Art Deco, the roaring 1920's. Bloody good night out!! Lovely Italian food lovely wine all round a fantastic experience. A little bit off the beaten track but worth it!! Leeds hidden gem.

We, my driver/assistant, went last night 12/03 for a meal and to watch Totally Tina whose show started at 2030.We arrived at 1930 and we were shown a table with a good view to the stage. I had Lasagne with a fresh Orange. It came at 2000 and my Lasagne was massive. I couldn't eat all but it piping hot and very tasty.Totally Tina act started at 2030 and finished at 2220 a very good show.

The Bibi’s team helped us put on a huge work awards night for over 150 people. The planing of the night was made so easy by the organised and helpful staff. The night itself was a huge success, the food was amazing and the service was personal and attentive. I would highly recommend Bibi’s for a big event and I’m sure it is equally great for smaller gatherings. On behalf of the management team at Chapel Allerton Hospital, thanks for a great night.

On arriving the restaurant was lovely with excellent service however the food really let it down. I would not return.

What a disappointment!!!! we where given a buzzer when we arrived, like a fast food restaurant, to let us know at the bar when the table was ready (table was ready but they like you to have a drink at the bar first) once shown to our table it was clear that this place is used for huge hen parts and birthday parties and not for tables of 2 or 4. We where 1st sat by a table of ladies on a works doo and then by a "shot shot shot" chanting group of hens. Our food arrived which was adequate but not fantastic and then waited 20 mins for a dessert menu. this never came nor did any more service to our table as the attention in our "area" was on the hen party also. Other couples round us started to get a little frustrated at the lack of service however the waiter simply shrugged his shoulders. We didnt have dessert or coffee and by the end couldn't wait to leave. On the way out we nipped to the toilets which where smelly and filthy. To summarise, if you are 18 - 30 wanting somewhere for a birthday meal or hen doo then this is great for you. Wanting a nice meal with friends or your other half? Don't go to Bibis....

My friend planned her birthday celebration at Bibi’s for the Luther Vandross afternoon. I had never heard of Bibi’s before and I didn’t think it would be a very upbeat act but WOW! Bibi’s is such a different restaurant to any other and the Luther tribute was incredible! Lots of people up and dancing around their tables and singing along. The cocktails are incredible and the staff are just so attentive! The bar is just so elegant.A huge 5* !!!!!! I’ll definitely be returning with friends again!Thank you!

We went here on a recommendation from a colleague and we weren't disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is very good and there is a lovely atmosphere about the place. Will definitely come back again in the future.

The venue is beautiful and the staff are really friendly, efficient and attentive. Nice food, but nothing outstanding. Early bird menu worth the money, wouldn't pay full price.

We were in a hurry as we had to be somewhere. When we ordered we made our waiter aware of this and unlike most places our meals must have jumped the queue as it arrived speedily. It was wonderful food. The waiter was friendly and polite. Toilets were clean. Menu had great choices. One of our party could not eat cheese, and so they happily made a pizza without cheese and swapped in extra pepper.

After visiting Leeds for many years now and always scheduling a visit to Bibis Friday night will be our last visit. I originally booked to attend their Showtime event yesterday with a very close friend however due to her son being critically ill plans changed and I had to cancel this was done in plenty of time and I am sure they will have managed to sell on our seats I was aware that I would lose my deposit which was fair enough however I was disappointed about the lack of customer service I received it was pretty much a case of tough you have lost the deposit end of story I was less than pleased when I came off the phone. However as we have previously always had great service and love the place I decided to give them the benefit of doubt and my husband and I booked to visit last Friday night alarm bells should have rung as soon as we entered as the place was extremely quiet for almost 8 o.clock on a Friday Night normally the place is packed we were shown to our table and ordered a bottle of wine and asked for some water for the table not a difficult request you would think especially how quiet they were, the wine arrived but no water we mentioned the water again and promised this would be sorted a waiter then appeared and asked to take our food order we had barely sat down so we asked for more time and mentioned the water again yet another waiter appeared 10 mins in again to take our food order and we felt pressured to order our food still no water this was asked for our starters came and still no water yet again we asked for some we eventually got the water, now onto the food we were disappointed again to say it was ok is an understatement it was below average. It is unclear if the restaurant has changed ownership but something has changed passing the restaurant again on the Saturday night and it was quiet again. The restaurant is not the cheapest of Italians however that has never been an issue as the quality of food and good service has seen us return time and time again but with the poor customer service and the quality of the food means that regrettably Friday was our last visit to Bibis

My son decided to come and have his celebratory 18th meal here at Bibis and it was a great success. The atmosphere was good, service was excellent and the food delicious! Thank you for a wonderful evening. The duck arancia is well worth trying.

Visited this restaurant Saturday evening. Very busy booked a table for 9pm. Food was excellent both in taste and presentation. Drink a little on the expensive side but it’s leeds so you can expect this. Table was clean staff very friendly and helpful.

Not a huge fan of Italian food at the best of times, but it is good none the less and have always liked the Art Deco interior and loos!!

I visited Bibis restaurant last night for a reservation at 8pm. I have visited Bibi’s multiple times and i have to say I’ve never seen so many issues i was appalled with the service last night.

First time at Bibi’s but won’t be the last. Went with a group of friends for lunch and to see Dominic Halpin with his band. Excellent time had by all. Great atmosphere, lovely food with good service. A relaxed afternoon full of like minded folk having fun. The negative is that drinks are pricey but we expected that...

Went yesterday evening for the advertised San Valentino Valentine’s Day. Really disappointed and not what I expected from the advertisement. No red carpet( advertised) arrival, just a cold queue at the door to check in! Not happy. After giving name, stood there like in a school queue, a table alert device was thrust into our hands and that was it. Wandered to the bar, got drinks which are now expensive. Just lacked any atmosphere. On the plus side we got seated on time but then given a table for 4 so not setting the best atmosphere again! Service was not near as good as in previous visits. We got forgotten about twice!!! Paid the £7 service charge as you do but we shouldn’t have done. Will not be rushing back, we have had some good nights there but this was not one to remember.

Over priced. Average starter at £8 , average main £18 , glass of wine £9. Food average at best. Much nicer Italian restaurants.

WOW! What a great place. Saturday night was absolutely buzzing, the atmosphere was amazing. Food was great. Service was great. The place was great. Will return for sure.

We dined here on a very busy Saturday night. Good choices on the menu and the food was very nice. Had to wait quite a while for drinks and the bill, there were plenty of staff.

Good options on the lunch menu, tasty, freshly prepared food. Friendly wait staff, attentive but not fussy. Fabulous decor!

We were hoping for a trip down memory lane however times change and so do the priorities of a city centre destination......

Sorry to say we are unlikely to be returning soon. The place used to be special but is nothing more than a bang average Italian with shiny disco balls scattered around to make it feel more exciting than it is. Food is very average and staff were a tad arrogant for me.

Super Italian in the middle of Leeds, here for lunch, exceptionali every time lunch or evening I bet you carn’t eat a pudding

I and 47 other guests attended Bibis to celebrate my birthday last weekend. We booked for the Sunday lunch Showtime and it was excellent. The food was first class, the staff were very attentive and the show was amazing and very professional. A lot of the guests hadn't been to the restaurant before but I have had great feedback from them all. We will definitely be visiting again.

Had a really tasty meal in really great art deco surroundings. Very lively atmosphere even early in the evening. Would highly recommend.

Paid £75 for this cake, doesn’t look anything like what is advertised! they won’t take any responsibility as I took it home in the box. Didn’t look at it before I left. Food was awful, also the receptionist kept calling and harassing me to send the deposit!

This is quite a difficult review to write since I have mixed feelings about Bibis. My wife and I went on NYE for the dinner show, we have been many times previously and the entertainment is allways excellent as it was this year. The artists were fantastic, the music great, the overall party atmosphere was a la Bibis !

Called in for a quick bite. Food ok but very expensive drinks.... £6 for a peroni and £3.50 for a small bottle of Diet Coke! Also discretionary gratuity automatically added to bill and presented by a rather miserable waiter. Disappointed ☹️

A 1920’s gem Close to the railway station. Cocktails, food and showtime usually on a Thursday or Sunday. The toilets are amazing!

Attended an afternoon ABBA tribute showtime event. The entertainment was good and the food was great. Both led to a very enjoyable afternoon.

Used to be a regular customer at Bibi’s, ever since the days when they were on Greek Street. Haven’t been for a couple of years so thought we’d give it a go for old times sake.

This was our second visit - we had booked for our 48th wedding anniversary - and the visit matched the first for warmth, comfort and cosiness. We were welcomed by Luciana and Nicki, who were charming, adding to the long list of attentive staff we had met on our first visit. After a lovely lunch, we stayed to watch the Abba tribute band, which was almost indistinguishable from the original! A brilliant atmosphere where everyone of all ages engaged actively with the group. Thanks to everyone for ensuring that all our needs were catered for. We left, again, with a warm glow and looking forward to our next visit in the new year.We wish all the team continued success in 2020.

So, I would have given this 4 or even 5 stars but am so cheesed off at the event we are are at. This was an early New Year’s Eve celebration, 12-5pm. A great idea if you want to have a party with friends early doors. Most things were fine but it was clear that they only plan to entertain you until 4pm. It’s hugely disappointing and totally unnecessary. Why finish the music an hour before you leave ? Why kill the atmosphere with an hour to go ! You can do better than this !!!

Visited with a group of friends I had scallops for starters well over priced I found two on my plate which were very over cooked, my fillet steak for mains which should of been medium came like a burnt flip flop so did the other three fillets very very poor service and a very over priced rip off restaurant our bill came to £340. Will not be returning

Great staff, great food and great atmosphere. We visited Bibis on 27th Dec, it was very busy and the staff went that extra mile to book us a table which included the cabaret show. The food was lovely and fairly priced. The staff were attentive to detail and always on hand. The cabaret show was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We will definitely be returning. Well done to all.

Booked at last minute......nearly put off by negative reviews but so glad I wasn’t. Great food, great atmosphere with live music (advised when booking it would be loud and offered table away from stage). Would return again.

We booked weeks in advance for a birthday celebration upon arrival we were told they had cancelled the booking. I was barged into by one of the hostesses instead of asking me to move out of the way. Staff were rude and very unpleasant! We fortunately got a table when asked to speak to the manager and surprisingly we were sat surrounded by empty tables.. no apologies were made. Service was poor and the only thing they were quick to do was to give us the bill. All this and a service charge added.. disgusting! Will not be returning.

Always fantastic food and lovely atmosphere. One of the best restaurants in leeds never had a bad experience.

Attended for one of Bibi’s showtimes with work friends. Can’t say I initially found the menu that inspiring when we were asked to pre-order but there were things I liked on there so it was fine. Ordered “Prawns marinated in lemongrass and ginger with “Marie Rose sauce” for starter. This was essentially lettuce, defrosted, tiny prawns with a heap of prawn cocktail sauce dumped on top. No bread or any other garnishes other than a wedge of lemon. Hardly appealing. I had seabass for main, which in fairness did come with 2 large fillets of seabass but £11 supplement for a ribeye steak seemed excessive on a £40 a head menu (appreciate entertainment is included in the £40). The seabass same with a lukewarm sauce, a handful of cubed potatoes dotted around and some kale (agin, not a lot of) It wasn’t exactly filling. For dessert I’d chosen the “chocolate sponge pudding with white chocolate ice cream”. I’ve eaten similar things from a supermarket that you cook in a microwave, the ice cream wasn’t really distinguishable as white choc flavour as it had random malteasers thrown in with it? Entertainment was enjoyable but I certainly won’t be booking to return again. Sorry Bibi’s not sure what has happened to you.

A Christmas meal out with a great team that used to work together. We pre ordered to save time for us and the serving staff. One of our party was late and we asked for a delay. Staff did keep checking as their time seemed precious. The food arrived as ordered and was hot and tasty. The surrounding were opulent and many of the group sparkled too. An enjoyable afternoon, next time I fancy a meal with entertainment.
