I went in asking for chicken breast with the skin on. He didn’t have it in the display but went above and beyond to cut some fresh for me. The gentleman gave me some advise on keeping it on the crown and wow was he right. A beautiful cut of meat at a brilliant price. Super friendly and couldn’t help enough. I will definitely be buying my meat from there again. Highly recommend to everyone.

We often stop by here during the day when looking for a lunchtime bite. A really good variety of food, home preparted and very pleasingly presented. Choice of comfortable sofas or chairs and tables. Really nice to see a small, hard working local business become so successful

We are extremely lucky to have Berrys in Wroughton. The butchers sells the best meat & produce. And the cafe does the tastiest hand made rolls in a great atmosphere.

Stopped in here for a coffee one Friday morning. My wife asked if there was a customer toilet. She was told to go to the back door & knock. Not a problem. The moment she walked out the two staff began complaining loudly about customers using their toilet. Everyone in the cafe heard it. They continued complaining while my wife was actually using the toilet & she heard it all too. Now she doesn't want to go back & neither do I. You either have a toilet or you don't. There's to call to be so rude about it.

Well, you can't really beat this. The most wonderful meat from a top class butcher, all cooked on site and served up by amazing staff. The sandwiches are good, but the crate your own pizza selection is fantastic. There is fillet steak, blue cheeses, BBQ pork and all sorts of quality ingredients to eat. The coffee and tea is excellent, as are the freshly baked cakes. For me, this is as good as this type of eatery get. You know where the meat comes from, you can actually walk next-door and buy it. Ask them where it comes from, and the majority of it is from Wiltshire. How good is that? Truly local, truly superb. Pizza can be takeaway, and it knocks spots off any Dominoes or Papa Johns you may buy, and is a lot cheaper. I have asked for some pretty unusual cuts of meat in the past, they always go the extra mile to find stuff out. It is not the cheapest, but it is great value for money. Cafe atmosphere is relaxed, you can take children and dogs in. I can't fault it. It is a real gem for Wroughton and a local hangout for me.

We are regulars and go weekly - it's a great place, nothing seems too much trouble. Its a huge asset to the village - having had anything yet which wasn't delicious - it isn't expensive. Only downside it's too easy to go in everyday! 😉

I love this place so much! My favourite café. The food is delicious, using as much locally produced and sourced supplies as possible which I like. Always new things on the menu- from Winter Warmers, home made stews to delicious milkshakes in Summer as well as delicious home made cakes! Great coffee too. And the staff are so nice- always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely personal touches such as fleece blankets and even hot water bottles. A fantastic addition to the village and a very welcome extension to the long established butchers. Keep up the good work everyone :-)

have had the best burger ever here. So good it almost feels derogatory to call it a burger! Delicious beyond words. Mouth watering now just thinking about it. First class service. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And the thoughtful provision of cosy blankets and even hot water bottles to snuggle up with on the settees, over a coffee, makes it feel like home from home. You will love it.

The Olive Tree has moved from Cheney Manor to the Toomer’s Garden Centre in Stone Lane, Lydiard Millicent. It is quite small but lovely. Great coffee and prices and sufficient food choices to suit many. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely go again.

Nice place, friendly staff. Lovely full English breakfast at a good price. It's only three minutes from the Premier Inn and makes a good alterative to the Premier's own breakfast.

We had a great stay along with a meal and drinks. The Village Inn is excellent. They were very friendly and chatty to us, with the Landlady telling us lots of interesting things. Super cheap. Quick service. Nice food. And Liddington is a real chocolate box village with thatched cottages, just between the Marlborough Downs and Swindon. It you want an enjoyable trip, cannot recommend to too highly. We can't wait to be back. And especially good if you are veggie or vegan or a pet owner, however get the impression that they would do anything for anyone to make them feel at home.
