Popped in a here a couple of times after parkrun with eldest son staff always nice and friendly as he loves the sausage rolls. Great bread and cakes as well I love the rock buns.

Called in here for some lunch. I was greeted by Bernie the proprietor with a smile and hello, what can I get you today? The food is nearly all homemade and the quality and range is outstanding. There was another customers ordering a celebration cake and a buffet after she was given a recommendation from another customer. Really impressed with this place and will be back, highly recommended, go try it

Lovely location, there is also a garden centre and gift shop. The food and service is always brilliant. The food is excellent quality and good sized portions at a reasonable price. Their steak pie is awesome. Well worth the travel

Saxon GreenFantastic little place, very clean and service was excellent. Food was excellent and it was very quiet after 10pm so ideal when staying for business. 15 mins from Aycliffe business park. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious and clean. We had three rooms, all brilliant all guests had a great stay with a great night's sleep.

27 HorsemarketPopped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Both dog and baby friendly. Nice and quick for food to come out. Ordered some cheese on toast which wasn’t on the menu for our little one and they very happily sorted this out and provided childrens cutlery and plates.

Market SquareThe food portions were huge and the taste was good. There was no separate service tip so it wasn't burdensome, and the staff was friendly. I'm very satisfied. I recommend visiting here for fish and chips!!
