Un amigo habla muy bien de este establecimiento, así que lo visité ayer por la noche camino a una charla.La elección de los bocadillos era muy pobre. Aquellos en exhibición se veían muy seguros. Compré un sándwich y té (pero no había ni rodajas de limón ni jugo de limón para poner) y un miembro del personal me lo llevó al sótano.La desagradable música pop era tan fuerte que apagué mis audífonos.El inodoro era desagradable y el cable de la alarma NO estaba en condiciones.NO volveré hasta que instales un ascensor.

Looking to take the weight off and grab a quick coffee so was really pleased to find Benugo just off the main drag.The staff were so friendly, all smiles and I was served quickly.An extra hot latte and a good quality piece of chocolate and walnut loaf.Great for people watching!

Entré en esta tienda porque trabajo muy cerca. Pedí con una encantadora dama rubia. Muy amable y disponible en mis solicitudes. Fui a pagar y había una chica detrás de la caja. Cuando le pido que pague, ella solo me responde riendo de que terminó su turno. 1) Si terminó su turno, no se quede allí sin nada que hacer. 2) Aprende la educación y no te rías delante del cliente.Gracias a Kamila por invitarme a pagar con ella, un servicio muy amable y encantador.

Terminamos aquí una mañana por coincidencia y fuimos a desayunar. Esos panes fueron realmente bien recibidos. Debido a que el café es tan grande, decidimos tomar un segundo pan, mientras terminamos el café.El día después de que volvimos. . . . Alles vers. Echte broodjes / ciabatta / wraps. Kakelvers en warm gemaakt als je wilt. Superlekker zijn ook hun verse sapjes. Snelle service en zit leuk. Aanrader tussen alle Pret a manger en Starbucks. Ook lekker hoor maar hier alles vers in vitrine. Ook verkopen ze er heerlijk uitziende muffins cakes e.d. maar deze niet geproefd. Goede keten. Zit ook op St.Pancras station.

A lunchtime visit for a snack.2 x scrambled egg 1 tea 1 coffee....small portions £16.85.Admittedly a very busy lunchtime but had to clear a space on the table and the dirty pots remained there for the whole of my visit.Poor tasteless scrambled eggs, sorry cannot recommend this place

This is a cute little spot for coffee and a quick bite before you go on your merry way. I thought the sandwiches were delicious and coffee just right. Plus they have a very quaint and comfy seating area downstairs as well as upstairs.

It was very nice environment I used to go there every day, but since the new management team and new employee started working in Covent Garden Benugo it has been changed a lot. The current employees have bad attitude. They are not nice at all!

The two ladies (Hungarian and Polish?) who seem to run the shop (regardless of the managers who change quite frequently) are amazing. They remember their customers' coffee orders from one day to the next, minimising wasted waiting time, and are always smiling and keeping the operation smooth. The sandwiches are different and much tastier than Pret. And of course it has the best black coffee!

A great little spot for lunch. I love the underground seating area and I highly praise what they have done down there. The staff here all are amazing and welcoming, thank you to you all! I will say this is one of, if not, the best mocha I have ever drank! And for breakfast we had an egg and bacon roll and the banana porridge.. both excellent! We will be returning.

Buen café a un precio decente (mucho mejor que Pret y Starbucks) y se sirve mucho más rápido que la tienda en la calle por personal que es mucho más amigable que el personal desagradable en Patisserie Valerie. A really lovely surprise. Good chiabata rolls not too crispy well filled. I did not try the sourdough of salads. Comfortable short term seating. I would certainly go again. Pleasant staff. Well done.

Expensive for what it was. Avacado was rock hard and inedible. Have a weird ordering system. Queue to pick your food, another one to pay for it and another to collect. Didn’t seem very efficient really.

My wife and I visited twice for breakfast while staying nearby. Coffee and a croissant/pastry set us up for the day! Great quality, and service was fast and efficient. Ideal .

Esta es la manera que me gusta mi café fuerte pero no quemados. . Un poco dulce.. Y aquí, lo hacen perfectamente. Añadir a que la pastelería fresca como rollos de canela, pasteles y cruasanes y bayas tienen un desayuno sencillo.

Unexpected pleasure when in Covent Garden area looking for something a little different but not a massive meal. Interesting format and range of food with a slant towards healthy. We found table downstairs having not been aware that they were there as very limited seating on ground floor. You obtain food from a different counter to the drinks. Staff pleasant and service quick. Main offering is tasty toasted combination sandwiches although breakfast (hot) is advertised on our receipt.Also salads and cold meats seem to be available. I had the so called "Sicilian". Artisan is a (pleasant) description I guess and will certainly revisit. It gets busy around lunchtime on a Saturday but we went in just before 1200 and this is probably a good time.

Had just a drink here, but will probably go back for food sometime as it looked good. We asked for specific requirements for the tea and this was no problem at all to the staff. There isn't much seating on ground floor, but there is additional seating downstairs.

Llamamos aquí una parada para comer y fue muy agradable. Había una buena selección de ensaladas, sándwiches y comprobar empaquetado que todo parecía delicioso. El café en sí es un poco industrial, así que no gustará a algunas personas, pero me gustó.

A friend and I visited on our way to the Royal Opera House. The selection was varied and looked inviting. We chose ciabattas and drinks which came very quickly. We enjoyed the surroundings and the food and will definitely add this place to our list.

I felt as though I was disturbing the girl who served me day by my being there, and ordering food. Which mind you, was delicious. Great selection of fresh sandwiches and as I said, lucky the coffee was good. That's definitely this places saving grace. Won't be back, don't want to disrupt any more of her day then I did.

Popped in here today for a take away and we had to write a review to thank the staff for their excellent customer service.Really friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to cater for our youngest. It was much appreciated and we had a very full and content toddler on the drive home. Will definitely be back next week - thank you.

As you walk in attracted by its nice colours you immediately get disappointed by less than not friendly staff. Me and my wife were the only people queuing up so bartenders were not on a rush at all. We've not been welcomed in by a smile, a word or a little introduction so as first time visitors we took a little time to figure out menu.The angry look of one of the bartenders literally forced us to complete our order in about 0:17 seconds so we had to choose the first thing we bumped into on the counter. Customer service at its worst. I'm sure when I'll visit next the company would had take care of it already.

I love Benugo. I had the chance to live accross this shop and the staff was always so great, including the manager. The food was excellent, and always a great selection of both sweet and savoury from the breakfast to lunch and snack. Their option of hot food at lunch time of "pork belly with apple sauce in ciabatta" is s must. Although I'm not fond of soups,The ones of Benugo are exquisite (especially Chicken Laksa one)Several times I use to go down in the afternoon for a tea and cake ( the carrot cake is superb by the way) and going down to the staircase I like bed to in the grotto. So peaceful and quiet. One thing I was impressed about is how clean this place is kept, the bins are never full and toilets always clean even in the busiest hour of the day. Overall, I really recommend to anyone, even passers by to have a peruse into the shop, you will be definitely coming out not empty handed.

Nice easy going cafe to have a breakfast or a coffee. Friendly staff. Big place downstairs to work or just sit and relax. Perfect place to wake up and have the first coffee of the day.

Enjoyed a nice cold cloudy lemonade but at £3.30 a go and no offer of a glass we found ourselves sitting on benches drinking from the bottle and feeling rather underwhelmed. The sandwiches looked nice and it's a good location for 'people watching'.

You fist walk in and think that it is a lovely place for lunch with more seating advertised downstairs, just as well as upstairs is more than limited despite the size of it! you have to order on 1 counter and they give you an order form then go to the other one to pay and order your drinks, however if you want to eat downstairs you haver to wait for your food and take it downstairs yourself , 2 sandwiches and 2 waters will cost you £12.50 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks, the sandwiches are ok but not exceptional as for the size , don't worry you will have room for dessert! you then go downstairs and it musty and warm, there are no air, air con or fans , it is not specially clean either, but they do offer free warm tap water if you wish, this was a one off!

We were staying in Covent Garden during Half Term and across the road I was very happy to find that we could get great coffee, delicious healthy breakfasts (I loved the Chia Yoghurt Pot) and the kids loved the Muffins and the Pain au Chocolats (not so healthy!). The staff were also very friendly which is always nice first thing in the morning.I am gutted that we do not have a Benugo in my home town in Warwickshire!

Stopped by for a bit of breakfast on the way to the shops and thought it was just average. We both had breakfast baps which were a bit skimpy on the filling andperhaps not worth the price... Service was quite quick and staff were very friendly though!

We had lunch here - a lively place with good atmosphere. Can take away a wide range of options or eat in. We had two of the small number of seats against the window but there was more seating downstairs. Food was fresh, good quality and reasonably price served by friendly and efficient staff

Good variety of sandwiches. Apart from Sunday they will make up a sandwich with two salad fillings for you. Free water by the glass and plenty of seating downstairs.

We got an emmental and ham baguette and chicken and chorizo paninni with a lemonade, diet coke, muffin and cookie. It was just OK was lovely sitting and people watching but not sure I'd go again in a hurry

Popped in with a couple of friends for breakfast after a late night - Benugo's own rolls are absolutely delicious, the Cumberland sausage option very good indeed. Will definitely be back.

Went here today before seeing War Horse. Efficient staff, good food at reasonable prices. Pots of tea also good. Would recommend if you need fast service alongside good simple, food such as baguettes/ wraps etc

A friend of mine and I made Benugo a regular spot for our lunch dates. It cosy and the atmosphere, especially downstairs is intimate and conducive to chats while sipping a beverage. Love the place. Expect to pay around £1.70 for tea and £2.40 for lattes.

A pleasant looking sandwich shop in the heart of Covent Garden, it has a quite attractive and contemporary appearance. The layout is perhaps a little confusing with two different counters – one has the sandwiches and wraps that you can order and are then given a piece of paper to take to the other counter and pay. You then return back to the original counter…. It was fine when we were there on a quiet Sunday afternoon, but I imagine it could get a bit confusing at busier times and of course, it means you have to queue twice! Some of the staff also seemed to struggle with English.Seating upstairs is fairly limited, but there is much more seating downstairs. This though is fairly basic, just an old cellar that has not been spruced up in any way with a flagstone floor and bare brick walls. It might work quite well in a traditional old pub, but didn’t seem to suit this type of establishment I thought. The single loo was also down here and there was invariably a queue of people waiting.Whilst there was a decent enough selection of wraps and sandwiches, the cake selection was a little disappointing. The majority seemed to have been bought in being pre-sliced and wrapped in plastic and nothing particularly grabbed me. That said, our wraps and baguettes were both actually pretty good – a chicken and pesto wrap was a decent enough portion and very tasty, whilst a bacon and brie baguette also went down well.

I'm normally a great fan of Benugos especially NFT South Bank. Thought it would be good to stop for tea early evening.My wife takes her tea extremely weak, what I often refer to as the 'sensitising dose'. We ordered two Earl Greys and my wife asked the assistant if she would kindly remove the tea bag and tip half the contents away and top up with just hot water. This assistant didn't speak English and proceeded to jiggle the tea bag, making it even stronger before removing it. No amount of explanation was getting the message across. At this point her colleague waded in, tipped the whole contents away and remade the tea stronger than before. By now my wife was trying sign language to make either of the girls comprehend. By the third cup me wife had given up. Asking to have some cold water added she was told no, they were not allowed to add cold, my wife would have to do that herself! Finding seats in the basement we then realised that the tea she had been given was not Earl Grey. To complete our experience we found the whole place rather grubby and tired. The toilet although useable had a very wet floor and the pipes on the rear wall (of which there many) were filthy and dripping with condensation. This Benugos branch needs a good refurb and staff who can understand simple customer requests before I could recognise it as part of what I thought was a desirable chain of restaurants.

We were pleased with the quality of the sandwich. Not too much - not too little.The prices seemed fair and there were many options to choose from.Their ordering system seemed a bit confusing and I could see that many people had a hard time figuring it out.

Positive- strong coffee Negatives - blunt staff, dodgy chairs, grubby. Also it seems to attract rude customers! Everyone there seemed unpleasant apart from the poor guy trying to clean up after everyone. Keep him but everyone else needs training!

Totally weird and annoying ordering system. Sometimes indifferent staff many of whom seem to have had any personality removed so they are charmless and seeimgly ungrateful for your custom. Despite that the coffee is good albeit more expensive than Fratelli which is better all round

I have been here a few times and have ALWAYS left disappointed. Weird ordering system and terrible food. Baguettes and muffins are under-filled to the point of being ridiculous. There is a lot better out there!!

Enjoyed our vegetarian club sandwiches a lot. Coffee and tea first rate. Sitting at a wooden plank to eat them not so good perhaps. Going downstairs to the loo dreadful. Staff were really good.

Service was so astonishingly poor. I ordered a vegetarian club and wanted it not to be toasted but it was toasted in the end. Staff at the till gave out change almost coin by coin and put them on the counter for me to pick up. One of the them dropped into the bottom of the big container of packs of crisps in front of the counter and was very difficult to fish out. The staff didn't even say a single sorry. Then I went to wait for the sandwich. The staff called out a number which did not correspond with my ticket so, rightly, refused to give me the vegetarian club. She shouted the number a few times and no one responded. After a while, the staff probably discovered that the sandwich was really for me but somehow the numbers on the tickets didn't match. One of them gave the sandwich to me without uttering a single word. No sorry or explanation - nothing. The shop was not even busy at that time. I will never go again.

No meio de um passeio bem legal em Covent Garden, fizemos pit stop rapidinho. Delicioso sandwich, suco natural, café gosto e um brownie perfeito. Ambiente agradável e preço justo. Super recomendo!!

The coffee is lovely food is nice. But the facilities - toilets seating area down stairs is filthy. Amusing cleanliness sign in the one toilet has 1987 on it as the last time it was cleaned.... And that's is something I believe. A real shame that the product isn't backed up by the environment.

ムール貝が美味しいとすすめられて行きました。一人でしたのでバケツ一杯のサイズは食べれず、お皿に綺麗に並べられたムール貝を注文しました。お店は地下にあり、穴倉に横長の長机が並べられ、不思議な空間です。　夕方早くに入店しましたが、６時までなら大丈夫と言われ、なるほど、次から次へと人が入ってきます。ムール貝以外のメニューも美味しそうでした

O Benugo já foi melhor, infelizmente. Sempre parava lá para comer o sanduíche de pork belly quando morava em Londres, pois achava a porção generosa e o sabor inesquecível. Eles montavam o sanduíche na hora para você, incluindo a casquinha (pururuca) crocante, numa ciabatta gigante. Agora, o sabor continua bom, mas o sanduíche caiu pela metade, e quando você chega, ele já está lá, pronto, te esperando. Mesmo assim, uma boa opção de almoço rápido por menos de GBP 7,00. O parisian, outra opção bem deliciosa, fica na mesma faixa de preço e tem mesmo tamanho, para quem não quer mandar um porco de cara ;-)

A group of us popped in here for a coffee and cake. The coffee was delicious, as was the almond and rhubarb pastry, which avoided being too sweet and claggy. The service was spot on and friendly and the downstairs seating area was very quirky and cosy. I actually forgot my phone here and the staff were good enough to hold on to it until I realised it was missing and returned rather panic stricken about half an hour later! Lovely ambience, I shall certainly return!

There is a cosy, private seating area downstairs, which is perfect for chatting with friends. Very good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sweet Weeping Jesus, if I have to eat another Pret sandwich, I might lose my socks. Thus, I was thrilled to stumble across Benugo's wee sandwich shop on Long Acre, where for about a month I ate only their Mediterranean Club, five days a week, for lunch. I have since moved on to more diverse lunch selections, but it is safe to say that this is the best non-mass-produced selection of sandwiches one can find in the neighborhood. Go early, they sell out!

Went with family and had a really nice quick lunch. The freshly carved pork belly ciabatta was very nice. The soup, which tasted home made, was also really good. For the location, so close to Covent Garden, it was not too expensive.

I was in London with my girlfriend. After a shoppingtour we decided to grab a coffee. We ended up here.I must say, it's a really nice place to go. The coffee, the tea and the sandwiches were great. I recommend you check that place out if you're in this area.

I popped in for lunch, they have a good selection of healthy food, and the staff were great. The seating is limited. As the restaurant is situated by a busy junction, I enjoyed watching the flow of pedestrians crossing the road, and negotiating the crowd, as it seemed to be a popular place for people to meet up. Great entertainment!!

We stayed on Broadcourt for 3 weeks and had coffee out every morning. This was the best coffee hands down, and we tried them all at least twice. We also had sandwiches there and loved them. They have a buy-10-one-free card and we scored several because we were a party of 2-5 adults, as the weeks went by. This company seems to run a lot of the concessions in London museums as well.

Each morning we stopped in to enjoy the coffee and the best almond pastries. They also have great breakfast sandwiches.

Recently visited Benugo as well as several of their museum cafes during our visit to London. During these stops we found their coffee drinks to be consistently ok. We also tried several of their dessert cakes and brownies, finding these to be enjoyable. This branch near Covent Garden is very well situated for those attending performances in the area and interested in a coffee & dessert stop before or after shows.

Although it is a chain, i usually prefer local places, Benugo has an awesome atmosphere and it doesnt feel like a chain take away coffee shop. Coffee tastes really good and aside from that they have delicious fresh sandwiches, both veggie and meat options. For a little break during the day Benugo is one of the best places in Covent Garden. They have free wifi as well. Recommended!

Very good for the carrot cake and cappuccino.... Very close to starbucks for the quality but less famous...i suggest to visit....

We had lunch at the Benugo, covent garden. Really enjoyed the experience. Best coffee we had, had in our whole trip to london. Food was lovely. All at a very reasonable price. Staff very friendly and very helpful. The area was all very clean and free from past guests litter.
