That’s a little gem shop, me and my partner visit this shop quite regularly, it has a big variety of choices. The chow mein is always at the top, and each time trying to get something new. I will suggest this to everyone who likes Chinese cuisine.

Made a big order for the first time and the my friends and I were very pleased. Especially with the restaurants opening time and presentation. In my opinion this is a place to order from you want to try something new and delicious. They do not supply pictures but the food is really amazing. They didn’t even take very long with the food.

Friendly, very quick service. Discounted menu. Saved 30% by going in person rather than having it delivered. Delicious food from here. Clean and fresh flavours. Highly recommended. If you're rich enough, get it delivered.

I placed order on just eat they rang me to confirm order. first time they cancelled order as i was busy couldn’t pick up order. 2nd time after ordering i pick up and am told i need to pay extra delivery fee. i said wasn’t my problem as was glitch with system then he told me to fuc* off and put phone down on me. i highly recommend never to order from here

food never arrived. the driver supposedly tried to contact us (not true) and when we called the restaurant the owner started yelling before I could even finish the first sentence. they asked us to pay 2 more pound for the new delivery (reading other reviews, I guess that's a common trick they use), we angrily accepted but the food never arrived. contacted just eat for a refund of some sort but they told us they couldn't do anything. JUST DO NOT ORDER.

I used to love this bento, I'd order from here even when friends ordered elsewhere but the last two times I've received rice that wasn't undercooked but had then been left open to the elements and dried out. Really horrible. They also sent me non veggie spring rolls in the past and refused to even discuss it.

I would like to give 0 stars. We never received our order and the restaurant said it wasn't their problem and refused to resend any food and wouldn't even give us a refund. They told me to contact Uber as it is their driver's fault (ordered through Uber Eats) and funnily enough Uber confirmed the restaurant is using their own driver and not Uber. Absolute disgrace.

It turned up cold and wet where the condensation had taken over as it must have been sitting a while. Which would explain why the delivery driver had several orders just sitting there, I feel bad Telford the people after me on my rpute of drop offs. the chicken balls are doughy, with this weird soft uncooked texture between the chicken and the partially cooked batter, some turned up burnt. the chips were cooked within an inch of their life, the chow mein was flavourless and very oily. The chicken satay, boiled rice and prawn crackers were ok if they had been delivered at least warm. I jist wouldn't risk ordering from here again. Incan honestly say this is the worst Chinese I ever accepted delivery of.

I placed an order as I had a complete loyalty card containing all 8 stickers, as your website doesn’t allow voucher codes I decided to pay in cash so I could give the completed voucher to the delivery driver, who would then apply the discount. I also wrote in the comments section of my order that I had a full loyalty card, and that discount would need to be applied. Fast forward to the driver arriving with my food. I went down to collect it, presented the voucher to be met with a confused / flustered expression and to be told “You need to ring that through, I’m just the driver and they didn’t tell me you needed discount” which is simply not good enough. I’ve obviously spent a lot of money at your store in order to acquire all 8 stickers, and to be simply refused over what should’ve been a simple request is not good enough. All your driver had to do was deduct the amount from my bill and take the voucher from me and take back to the store, or at least call you to check he could accept the voucher, but no he simply wasn’t interested. Finally in regards to the amount of discount, this again is misleading and misrepresentation as your website and confirmation emails says one thing, and the leaflets packed with the order say another. One says discount is £12.00 off your order, the other says it’s only £5.00 so some clarity is needed there as there’s a big difference in amounts. I also disagree that after needing to spend such a large amount to claim 8 stickers, that £5.00 is not enough. In closing, I’ve now found another Chinese takeaway that’s not only cheaper, but provides a much better service. It’s just a shame I’m now stuck with a full loyalty card that I have no intention of using as I won’t be using Bento King again. Why make it so hard to claim a simple discount.

Sometimes you really can’t trust negative online review, because we nearly missed this great Chinese takeaway! We nearly ordered every day since last week and the food was hit on arrival every time! Generous portions and reasonable price. My boyfriend like the salt and pepper chicken and I like the Dim Sim most. Definitely recommend.

Decided to choose this restaurant as it had great reviews on JustEat. It arrived and it was the most bland Chinese I have ever tasted. The chicken balls seemed stale and like they had been re-fried. I had to add salt to everything. I’m convinced that the owners of this restaurant pay random people to leave good reviews on JustEat

Forgot my salt and pepper chips, so I called the takeaway. First she spoke with terrible attitude and then rather assist me, the woman had the nerve to accuse me of lying, Saying that Im lying about what was missing And THEN SHE HANG UP ON ME COMPLETELY while I was still speaking. AVOID. Terrible service P.S. the food was also terrible... could easily tell everything was atleast a few days old. AVOID. The place is going downhill, let it die.

Left me waiting over an hour and a half and then closed, no communication on whether my order would be delivered, called numerous times and nothing, to deliver the order 2 hours later.. and expect me to wait on cold food. To then blacklist my account and not event cancel future orders. Poor business and customer service skills. Unfortunately great food but no longer will received my custom or recommendation.

Extreemly poor quality food. Rice all stuck together, ribs all dry and probably cooked days in advance. Poor service and definatly a place to avoid... even if this place was the last food on earth I wouldnt go back there... They even still charge the 50p extra for card payments even though this practice became illegal back in January and when I questioned this, the young kid behind the counter didnt know or even care about breaking the law..... Hopeless service ... Hopeless food ... place needs reporting to environmental and trading standards

I have ordered from Bento King a few times and it is usually good, tasty and hot. This time the order took 1hr 20mins to turn up, was not very hot which is annoying considering how long it took to get here. But what was worse was that the lemon chicken did not have lemon sauce with it and was just dry tasteless chicken in a box. Just Eat told me to return the food if not happy, they collected the food and then refused to give me a refund for the lemon chicken, I called and spoke to the restaurant they said there was no proof that i had not just kept the separate lemon sauce. Honestly what a joke. The quality of the rest fo the food was poor considering the usual standard, but given the response to my complaint this is clearly how bad the restaurant has gotten. There are loads of great Chinese take outs this is no longer one of them. such a shame.

Rude management - gave us £12 voucher as original order was TWO hours late. Rang up to redeem voucher and no trace of this ‘voucher’ at all and apparently customers fault - arguementative staff with little to NO customer service skills. it’s a shame as food is v good but customer service is AWFUL.

Order took 1 hour 45 to come, the delivery driver finally got here and forgot an item we ordered. Food was completely soggy after being left sat in containers for the long car ride. Rang up and the rude man on the other end of the phone offered no apology and told us "well there is traffic" like we are going to accept paying full price for un-edible, soaking food. He told us to give the food back and we received a full refund and still no apology. Worst customer experience ever. Wouldn't order unless you want to waste nearly 2 hours of your life. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

We ordered take way which said it would take 1 hour (23:20). It got to 23:30 and we hadn't heard anything from Bento King so we rang them: they said that our delivery hadn't gone through the system properly. They offered an alternative branch as they were now shut but we would have to wait an extra 40 minutes. All they would offer if 30% off which didn't seem worth the extra wait. So disappointing as we have ordered from here before and would have recommended it. Rubbish customer service.

A rude and un-cooperative driver has led to a disappointing evening. After waiting almost an hour for a delivery, the driver refused to come in and then drove away as my phone cut off from lack of battery. Leaving me high and dry with no food. When i called back to ask if he was outside (within 5 mins) he told me that he's taken the food back to the shop. He didn't buzz on the flat, didn't get out the car or anything or else these issues would have been solvable. Really disappointed when i called the takeaway to sort it out and all they offered was to cancel the order. To be honest thats just not good enough. Massively disappointed and wont be using again. Give it a swerve

I have placed several orders with this branch of Bento King, tonight's most certainly will be the last. On a prior order the had ignored my 'special requests' and when I filled in their feedback form and requested contact, none was forthcoming. I mentioned this to them this evening on the telephone, I was calling as they had completely forgot one of my ordered dishes tonight. The comment about last times lack of contact was that I should telephone, as the computer thing is completely different and they don't see it??? I received an apology of a fashion, and they'd make the missing dish and deliver in twenty minutes. Well, sort of deliver as the delivery on this occasion I get a telephone call, from a car halfway down the street. They didn't want to leave their car, I didn't want to don shoes and leave my 2nd floor flat, we compromised at the door step two floors below. The missing dish, for a vegan (as told on phone) came complete with free prawn crackers, though no eye contact from an employee who'd rather not have been there. The missing dish was more akin to the missing link, a thrown together jumble that bared no resemblance to its namesake that had arrived as part of multiple previous orders. And truly none of the £26 pounds odd of food was much cop on this occasion, the majority now sitting on the table uneaten. The blackbean vegetables (the late dish) must have a good red chilli and a half in it, the duck with mushroom I've barely touched as the mushrooms look and taste a bit past their best and really smell terrible. I'm told the vegetable satay was fine, though very oily and visually most uninspired. For a chain firm that I have recommended to others their food, service and attempt at resolving issues tonight is woeful. So if you fancy a Russian Roulette experience for your fast food, click on, it might be great or maybe you'll be treated to Basil Fawlty on a bad day.

There are 2 Bentos and this is the worse one. Food has always been extremely salty and takes much longer than 1 hour to get delivered. Driver even said once that I shouldn't order between certain hours because it's when all the chefs have their break!

It's my favourite of all the Chinese takeaways I've ordered from in the Hulme / Whalley Range / Moss Side / Fallowfield strip. Better quality food than you would expect for a place with vulgar pink 'B.. King' branding and no-frills service, which you pay ever so slightly more for. I recommend the Mandarin or salt & pepper ribs. Often hear them taking calls in Chinese, I shamefully assume that is a good sign!

I ordered my food and was assaulted by the security guard. He hit me twice for no reason, I reported it to the police. I have a graze on my knee and a cut to my face for ordering chicken and chips. The staff are rude, abusive and ignorant and they use the security staff to bully their customers. I threw my food back at them in disgust. They are the scourge of the earth and do not deserve the money they steal off people. My last visit and last instalment into a vile business of bullying and bigotry. Disgusting!

I paid £9 for the large pepper steak dinner (price increase since May 2022). I got back to the office and saw the dinner was 7/8ths rice, a bit of veg and only 7 pieces of meat. I rang to ask, if this is the large, how many pieces of meat do you get with the regular sized dinner? (Apart from the call being terminated 3 times before I got through). The owner said I was petty to count the pieces of meat and that if he wanted a piece of steak, he went to the butchers, took it home and cooked it himself. I said the portion was small, compared to other caribbean takeaways - he wasn't having any comparison to any similar outlets. I was ringing only to give feedback and was genuinely curious if I'd have been better ordering the regular sized dinner. Poor service, rude and while tasty, it certainly wasn't value for money and as first impressions go, I won't be going back!

I’ve order from kamis for maybe the past 3 years and I’ve Always been happy until the last few orders we have received . My daughter was sick from one for 2 days with food poisoning, so we didn’t order again. I thought on friday I will try again ( silly I no) as maybe that was a one off as never had issues before. Well how stupid was I!! I ordered food and it was dreadful, I mean not even edible, this shop had gone so down hill. Food was freezing cold. Chicken looked terrible and we ordered spicy rice and got pilau rice!!! They don’t even have pilau rice on menu.. The whole food was worse I’ve seen!! We didn’t even attempt to touch it as it looked that bad and we threw it straight into the bin. We had to go out and spend more money on food. I rang shop and they said they refund to us in next 24hrs as they were aware I am a regular customer and never complained before. I have never received the refund and it’s a week tomorrow . I rang again and I’m just told same thing next 24hrs and then the phone put down on me. Now they don’t answer my contact number. I’ve bought and spent so much money with restaurant over past 3 years and I won’t ever spend a single pound again. It’s not just about the money, it’s about the poor quality of food sent out and not even trying or caring to make it right. This has got to be the worse takeway now and it’s a shame as it use to be decent. Save your money, as the food it’s not edible.
