Bento Factory in Winchester

I have loved everything I have ever eaten here. The savoury dishes are cooked with care and flavour, and the baked sweet biscuits and cakes are absolutely great. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

A lovely little restaurant come cafe just off the main Winchester high street. Great selection of Asian foods, freshly made, and teas but also a great selection of cakes and cookies including many vegan options. The coffee (moon roast) was also very nice.

The cookies from here are truly delicious, but expensive (£3.30 each or 4 for £10.90). The brownie was about the most disappointing thing ever.

First time here. Cute small cafe. Full to the brim. The kimchi dumplings were the best I have ever had. The BiBimBap was good but needed a little more spice. Japanese cheesecake is gorgeous. Chef delivering food is not only a skilled cook but also absolutely delightful when bringing dishes out. This ranking on TA is a joke. Easily top 10 in Winchester.

I venecer eaten this sort of food beforeamd i was very pleasantly surprised. Just great. I especially loved the coffee with evaporated milk, ever so yummy. We ll go back soon.

We came here for the first time the other day, the welcome we received here was rude, unfair and inconsiderate to us by a rude member of a female staff member which was insulting and not welcoming at all. Once we shared our apologies to her, she gave a fake and false smile and a dishearten acknowledgement. During our visit, she remained rude and two faced. Later in our visit, I overheard another member of the staff, swearing to his colleagues loudly, about that the toilet were still occupied. Despite all of the above, the drinks and food here was good. Furthermore, one of the male member of staff was nice and informative hence why we're not giving this place an one star rating. However, we still do not recommend this place because of their rudeness of their staff and their welcoming. Please always remember that not all disabilities are visible!!!!

The food was absolutely sensational and the coconut iced latte was once of the nicest drinks I’ve ever had!

My daughter and I love coming here, every trip to Winchester seems to end up with us eating at Bento. We both had salad bowls, my daughter had Katsu chicken and I had the tofu, so they were both identical besides that, my daughter had hers from the fridge but mine was made to order (vegan life huh) The food was so good, a decent portion and fairly priced The restaurant renovation has made it so much more spacious and welcoming. All in all a lovely meal and we will be back

This little cafe is in a beautiful setting with outside and indoor seating. It’s beautifully decorated and has a great menu with delicious tasting food and drinks.

More of a fusion rather than an authentic Japanese or Asian restaurant. Had high expectations, but we were disappointed with the mains or the dumplings. Location was good and the service was very good

This spot was perfect for lunch! The sushi was so fresh and the bao bun was absolutely delicious, would 10/10 recommend. It’s lovely to see a different option for lunch in Winchester. The cafe interior and food/drink presentation really added to the experience!

Popped in for a coffee and cake and was really pleased. Cute little place although I believe that they have now moved to a bigger premises. The coffee was really good quality and the tiramisu was so light and fluffy with only a slight coffee taste, not the typical Italian style. Will definitely revisit to try other cakes, the Japanese cotton cheesecake looked delicious as did the cookies!

This is a really nice small business in the town of winchester. Staff is so kind and the food is amazing. Can’t wait to see the new move coming in July.

What a brilliant little find just off the high street - a real local secret! Staff were lovely (despite a few 'difficult' customers appearing during our short stay!) and accommodating to one of the groups dietary needs. Food was *amazing*. We had a mix of sushi and onigiri with the Bibimbap, Liang Mein, Rainbow Salad and then plenty of the sweet treats - the cookies and Cotton Cheesecakes are amasing! It is definitely on the medium to high side in terms of cost, but that is just the going rate given food costs at the moment - and well worth it in our eyes! They are sadly closing for a month... but thankfully to move in to larger premises two doors down!

I was so thrilled to see gluten free + vegan options! Tried a chestnut mochi and a marshmallow cookie and both were great sweet treats made even better by them being vegan and gf! I was only let down by the customer service as the girl who served me came across unfriendly and cold which surprised me :(

Beautiful, quaint little eatery with limited seating but lovely staff and flavourful food. I had the tuna kimbap, vietnamese coffee and a cookie dough brownie. I can highly recommend all these items! My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back
