Yet another fantastic review for Bentleys smokehouse. Had a really excellent meal and brilliant service from Stavros and all his team. The restaurant was buzzing with a great atmosphere.

We went there 2 times for dinner and the food was normal average, nothing special. On the 1st evening we paid with America Express and on the 2nd evening we were told that no American Express credit card is accepted. I then called the responsible employees and he told me that the boss had terminated American Express today, which was an absolute lie. So be careful in this restaurant.

Myself and my husband called in without a prior booking. They were obviously very busy but managed to accommodate us. The service that we received from start to finish was excellent. All of the Staff members were extremely efficient and friendly. The restaurant itself was lovely and clean (No fries on the floor here!) We each ordered the Sirloin steak with all the trimmings and when the food arrived, it did not disappoint. It was very well presented and tasted even better than it looked! It has to be one of the very best steaks that we have ever eaten, and trust me, we are steak lovers and often order steak when dining out. We ordered desserts and joked that I would like a cherry on the top. Then it came with a cherry on the top! Service doesn't get better than that, lovely efficient staff with a sense of humour! Toilets were very clean and I loved the decor in there, which was totally unique! We are in the area for a week from North Wales, but if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely make a return visit. Keep up the good work you lovely people. DIOLCH YN FAWR! Totally relaxing - yet vibrant and front of house lady making us feel really welcome and told us about a meal deal for Wednesday’s which was not only a good offer but perfect comfort meal of garlic bread and Bentleys smoke house burgers with sweet chilli dipping sauce served with chips - all served with an excellent light Italian red wine - perfect accompaniment!! A perfect evening.

Great food with great service. The team at Bentleys work hard with the service and the food tastes equally as good. Zack and Ray were spot on with the smiles and service. Can’t wait to go here again

Another fantastic meal at this lovely restaurant. The roast dinners were 5* , we loved the cocktails which had an ice lolly and the service was exceptional.

Came on Saturday 18th may as 2 couples. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table and they took our drink order. The restaurant was really busy but we didn’t wait long for our drinks. Food came out quickly, hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! Everyone at our table ordered something different and we all thouroughly enjoyed it. Extra thanks to Stavros and Sophie for looking after us. By far the best restaurant in bexhill. :)

Fabulous meal at Bentleys with my wife and her friend. I had a full rack of ribs, I’m a big lad and I couldn’t finish it! I was offered a doggy bag but as we were going on to the theatre I’m disappointed to say I had to refuse. The ladies both had burgers and devoured the lot. Thanks to Stavros and his staff. We had a great evening and the food was plentiful and great quality. Our server, Sophie, went above and beyond helping us with an unusual food allergy. This made the meal even more enjoyable as we could eat with confidence. Thank you 😁

Went back to Bentleys Smokehouse for lunch. Second visit and we were not disappointed. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and the Nashville burger was ace with a great spiced sauce. Mac & Cheese was excellent as well. We were served by Zach with his usual friendly and attentive banter. Will definitely be going back soon

We booked a table much earlier than usual as we were just wanting a quick bite to eat before we attend a concert. When we arrived at the restaurant at 5.45 pm it was pretty quiet but it soon filled up and is obviously very popular with locals and visitors to Bexhill like us. Great service very friendly staff food was good and arrived promptly.A great experience as the restaurant had a fun atmosphere too. We would have happily stayed longer. Would definitely go back if we are in Bexhill again

Always a go to restaurant when I stay here - great ribs, staff, wine and dessert - what more could you ask for? They were so kind last year when I had train delay issues, and kept delaying my table booking - ending up having it as a takeaway. They were lifesavers (and the wine helped!) that night!
