Benny's Chicken in Leicester

chicken strip were tough and were notnchicken fillets ,batter was falling off and not seasoned well

Tried the £2.99 burger combo at Benny’s Chicken, which includes a small burger and french fries. The portion was adequate for one person, and at a total of £5.98 for two, it was a good deal. The chicken is Halal, which is a plus. However, the service wasn’t great—just about okay. Also, they don’t provide ketchup or any condiments for free; you have to pay extra for them, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, decent for a budget meal, but don’t expect much in terms of service. 3 star on 5

He firstly gave me the wrong order and refused to correct it then after screaming at us he told us u have to leave and we couldn’t refund or keep the order

Disgusting food, tasted like it was fried in old oil and you could just taste the oil, threw it all in the bin, absolute waste of money! Not fresh at all, avoid this place!

First order was £8.99 should of been strip burger 🍔 with hash brown & cheese 🧀,2 wings,2 strips & drink but ask to swop the 2 strips for 2 wings so 4 wings 🪽 in total but they given only 2 strips & strip burger 🍔 was disgusting 🫣 as it had to be thrown away. I came at 22.55pm to complain about the order and ask for a full refund they said you have to come back in the daytime to get cash refund so the only thing we can offer is meal replacement & i said ok so got to come back tomorrow why cannot you not do it and they said sorry we cannot and only offer a meal replacement so after arguing for some time i given up and choice a meal replacement even theo i didn't want another meal as wanted a full refund. So because what i choose a meal was more than the meal i paid for so had pay £4 to get the meal i want as it was £12.99 platter share and missed my last bus so in the end it cost me including borrowing money from a freind to get taxi home a total of £14.00 so didn't really get anything back which is disgusting. I feel they took the piss out of me because of my learning disabilities and seen a easy target to rip me off that's the way i felt it was dealt with & felt like i was be taken for mugged well i won't ever go bennys chicken haymarket leicester again as the staff was disgusting the way they dealt with me Very unhappy 🙁 ☹️ and emotionally 😞 😢 distress by this ordeal & i hope no one else goes though this again ever Stay way from benny chicken haymarket leicester as they speak & treat you if your a idiot disgusting 🫣 keep away Second order platter £12.99 includes peri peri salt 🧂 on fries 🍟,peri peri strips and half peri peri chicken and salad plus drink for £12.99 not awful value but price could of been better for me that's worth £10.00 not anymore but just my opinion but after the ordeal and expenses i paid out never again so upset and disgusted with situation

Food was so bad and messed up my stomach

I ordered 15 spicy hot wings x2 + Peri peri half chicken. The order arrived with only 17 wings and peri peri half chicken. That's my one order losing. I tried calling the restaurant, it's not being picked and says unavailable. Please at least provide the full time when ordered. Our money is not picked from the tree.

After my high Street delivery I saw this chicken shop and decided to order 3 pieces of chicken, 3 chicken wings, fries and a drink. Cost £7.00 Now pretty good value so I was happy to pay. I decided to take my order out as there was only one other person sat eating in. Now this is where I give a 5*. The chicken was absolutely lovely. It was juicy, perfectly cooked, hot and most of all tasted really good. I would go as far as saying I enjoyed the chicken so much more than my recent KFC visits. Not sure why this shop has so many people complaining. If my visit was anything to go by, I certainly will be going back on my next visit to Leicester. Thank you Bennys Chicken. You done good tonight.

Chips seemed like they went cold and were dipped again, burger was cold, dry and unseasoned, chicken wings were the only good thing.

I ordered a peri peri meal, large, and what came was shredded chicken, not a whole chicken and the bottle of Pepsi was replaced by a can of Pepsi. And the donner meal had hardly any donner. A bit disappointed.

I wonder why I choose to go to bennys even though we have plenty of other takeaways in Leicester. I won't recommend Benny's to anyone because of the poor quality of food and customer service, the lady staff is so rude. 👎

Location is good but coustmer service is not up to the mark and they use mostly frozen items and dry them and give it to you don't expect fresh chicken

Absolutely horrible. The food was disgusting. I got the chicken and it was so hard I genuinely could not finish it. The chips were okay but were way too small and had no flavour or seasoning. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.

absolutely disgusting, got my wrong oder of the app and gave me 1 box of chips and some chicken when i ordered 3 steak burgers 2 cheese burgers 4 boxes of fries and Pepsi bottle the chicken was pink and raw the chips tasted like fish we all spat the food out of our mouths it was just disgusting and they are not picking up the calls anymore even though they are still opened. i want my money back.

Burger hard , missed fries AVOID this place

Me and my Mum came in bought 2 Chicken Fillet Burger Meals Number 1 on the menu and burgers where not cooked properly and smelt liked fish. Old chicken then I went to the counter and was offered another burger or something esle so I took a box of Chicken Wings and got home and warmed them in the microwave they old smelly chicken digusting. I want my money back £13 or I will report you to food trading standards.

Yesterday i come whit my partner to eat at Benny's Chicken i order a Doner Meal Wrap and that Meal Was The Worst Meal i ever eat in my life...the oil where they fry the chips i think was old and they didn't change from long time and i wait for that meal more then 10 minutes(in the restaurant i was just me and my partner)...i will never eat again at that place never again

Purchased donner meat with chips, which was a little pricey compared to other places. The one staff member seemed friendly enough. It was very quiet when I dropped in. Food tasted good but gave me a stomach ache the next day. For that reason I would not buy from this place again.

I ordered for chicken biriyani...then I got rice with lots of salad...after that I called them..one guy picked the call...then I spoke about biriyani...he said it's made by chef not me...he is not responsible for the dish...if you have any problem just put one review in Google...the best customer dealing and best biriyani...keep going...

THE PLACE IS NOT RECOMMEND. It is abysmally low place to be. First, the staff is unprofessional. They do not take customers seriously, especially South Indian customers. Second, they lie about sauces. They give sauces to selected customers and save pounds. Third and the most important one, the floor was extremely dirty and sticky. One's shoes can feel the oily adhesiveness. They save pounds by not using floor cleaners. It is a lazy place where people are not interested in quality service but in pounds savings. THE PLACE IS NOT RECOMMEND.

Not very clean food all over the tables and floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time also I seen a worker just grab the food trays didn't clean them and put them behind the counter to use for other customers how this place is still trading I don't no the food is just ok nothing special

The food was nice, but the place wasn't the cleanest. I had to use napkins and my own hand sanitizer to clean the table top that was dirty.

Went in for a cheeseburger. Just a small one. Heard him shout classic to the chef. When i saw no burger on the grill and him take out out a classic chicken in Breadcrumbs i asked how long it will be. He said it's ready. I said i ordered a cheeseburger. He said yes, that's what i made. When i got on my bus to go to work i went to tuck into my cheeseburger to find a classic chicken and mayo. Hate chicken and mayo classic.Too late to get off bus to return it. I will have to pay them another visit to complain.

Worst place ever, I ordered 2 large pizzas and got ridiculously small pizzas and I was missing a 1.5L bottle of coke and got 4 cans and I also ordered 3 cakes and didn't get any and the quality of the pizzas was absolutely awful and the chips were raw I paid around £40 for this order and only could consume the cokes without gaging, wouldn't let my dog eat here don't risk ordering because if you do you might aswell throw your money away. Absolutely disgusted.

Very poor service last few times i have been.some prices have doubled or tripled in some cases.very poor food and previous cleaners are now staff dealing with your food.been going this place for over 15 yrs and various name changes.but this place has now gone to the dogs.today was my last visit.i will not be going here again.its filthy.save your money and go to mc indians few shops down for proper quality chicken thats fresh and friendly staff.

My grilled peri peri chicken had odd bits of salad stuck to it. No actual portion of salad just the odd slither of lettuce and about 3 small pieces of tomatoes. The actual chicken had no flavour but was cooked well. The chips was a very very small container. Considering what I paid it was very poor and I wilk not order again.
