Benllech Tandoori Restaurant in Isle of Anglesey

We had a good meal this evening. The meats were lovely and tender and sauced very tasty. The paswarie nan was so fresh and crispy. It would have been helpful to know that the restaurant only offers NON alcohol drinks, but you are able to bring your own alcoholic drinks into the restaurant if you prefer. I went here for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend and I had such a lovely time. My experience with the staff was amazing I was struggling with how spicy the curry was and he gave me some yogurt to cool down the food. The food was lovely and I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant if you want a good place to eat and have a good time with friends, family and a partner.

I had another fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent as always, and Nur’s attentive service made the evening even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning. This place is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the area!

I’ve been visiting this place after I came in north wales. food is top notch and recently opened a coffee bar and trad dessert. We enjoyed that such and presentation is good as well. Hope to visit them soon

Amazing takeaway delivery service. Delivered to your door. Great idea for a treat, or if on holiday here. We had the chicken tikka korma with pilau rice, and garlic naan. It was absolutely stunning. Plenty of chicken in the curry. Really tasty and obviously freshly prepared. Hot when delivered , so no need to re heat. Thank-you.

Evening meal for two. Utterly delicious. Such a relaxed atmosphere and an abundance of top quality food, paericularly enjoyed the North Indian garlic lamb dish - best lamb curry I’ve had. Will be back very soon. The portions are very generous, and we were offered take away dishes to bring home our extra food. Also note, bring your own alcoholic drinks, no corkage.

I had been recommended this place for a take away meal and wasn't disappointed. We had a little technical issue whilst ordering online which meant the food was late but the staff were so friendly and apologetic we were still very happy as they quickly put things right. The food was excellent! Great tasting food and my lamb was so tender. I will definitely return here when I'm next in the area. Thank you.

Spent Christmas in Angelsey and visited here Christmas day for our main meal. Excellent service and gorgeous food. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff very pleasant and engaging. Food was well presented. Really nice ambiance. Will definitely revisit.

My family and I went for dinner to the Benllech Tandoori restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. the restaurant has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The food serves was fresh and delicious, and Nur made us feel relaxed and welcome. they also cater for children and our granddaughter loved the meal prepared for her. I would add that in my opinion, this is the best Indian on Anglesey, and I have tried quite a few, I keep going back as nothing else compares, it also worth mentioning that they also do deliveries - across the whole island, including Holyhead.

Excellent restaurant. We were a large group of 15. Service and food were outstanding. All food was served at the same time and piping hot. Staff were so accommodating with glasses, ice etc. Nur was our server. She was lovely and helpful

This restaurant is ideal if you want to sit in and be waited on, order a delivery or order to pick up takeout. The staff are so friendly, especially the lady behind the bar who answers the phone and takes payments. I have been going ever since it opened and they never fail to provide excellent service and outstanding food. I have tried other Indians within an 8 mile radius in the past few months when I have been with others outside of my household, but none of them live up to the standard Benllech tandoori have set. A true asset to the local area, and the fact that they were even open on Christmas day for their customers, shows their dedication as a business. Every-time I go they are busy in the restaurant and have multiple delivery drivers, even in winter months when tourism is down. It shows how much the residents on this side of Anglesey enjoy their food and how it speaks for itself.

Wifes 60th birthday 15 people! After a slight problem with table size ( quickly resolved) we had the most excellent service from Nur! Timely, attentive and great advice on couses ( Staff Welsh Llamb for 6 of the 15 of us as main). All were very happy with the starters and mains! I live in Cheshire but go to Anglesey once or twice a year and will go to this excellent restraunt again! Great experience for a special event!

Christmas Dinner with a difference, staff could not have been more helpful, food was fabulous and for three of us we would have spent more on a turkey.
