Good food, service was sufficient (though they got confused between the contents of two different items) and plenty of space to sit down.

samir was lovely and welcoming very kind and one of the nicest staff members they have. He asked what I’d like and what I’m not a fan of and made my order 10 times easier! Would recommend he’s so kind!

I had gone yesterday with my friend and we both got a quesadilla and our own burrito/taco . Food was alright 8/10 , afterwards we both have been suffering all day yesterday and today an extreme stomachache and there is no customer care email or phone. Very unprofessional

Staff member woman was not welcoming, made minimal eye contact and poorly communicated while making food. Food was cold and didnt taste great. The pollo bowl was a wet mess of sauces and had minimal fillings. Not worth £10. Wouldnt eat again or recommend.

Located in the food court on the lower ground floor this is a very popular Taco restaurant. The food quality is decent and fairly generous in size. At lunch time there is a deal for a set with a drink and tortillas. There’s plenty of seating to enjoy your food but it does feel a bit crowded due to having no proper queuing system. The negative experience for me was the getting to check out. Even I paid for the lunchtime meal the clerk didn’t offer me my drink and I even had to ask for the tortillas. On top of that the wrap was just dumped in the counter.. it couldn’t have been that hard just to put it on a tray with a drink and the tortillas I paid for?

Very bad service at the counter. Worse nachos ever very dry, no topping, they charge extra for basics like beans 12.50 for the most horrible nachos I have had. Do not recommend at all Taco Bell is better than this 😑

We tried both burritos and quesadilla. The taste was good and tempting who loves spiced chicken. There are also other options to take pork or beef instead of chicken.

The food was ok-ish. Nothing special. However the service was absolutely crap. They were so dry and rude when serving me, no friendly words or anything. Halfway through my meal they told me to get up and move because “someone was already sitting there” it has been half an hour and NOONE was there. And they were so rude and aggressive about it. They lack manners and respect for customers and treat us horribly. I don’t recommend coming here unless you want mediocre food and a horrible experience that degrades you and puts you down. Never wasting my money here again. Ontop of that I was polite and said okay I’ll move and they didn’t say thank you or anything.. what kind of service is this?

I received a burrito online and I asked for guacamole and sour creams. Salsa verde and lettuce. None of them ingredients arrived oh I had a little lump of guacamole which I paid for. also my wrap just fell apart instantly wasn't even wrapped properly was loose and cold. burritos are so much better from other places. Do not go here I paid just under £19

Always get at this place and past two times the service has been very poor. Today was a repeat of that, where the burrito was barely filled and had to ask myself for extra and for sauces etc. The worst was when the small nachos were handed over just like that plain and I had to again ask that usually you put sauces and tomato and stuff over and not just chips with or without cheese. Also there was a man who was served at the same time and the girl serving rushed it so much and his lettuce/salad parts were hanging out the box. Overall feel like this place depends a lot on who is serving you as the ingredients are good and enjoyful (except please change the nacho cheese).

Meat on the menu appeared to be labelled as “Halal”, therefore we left without purchasing food here as we do not wish to consume religiously slaughtered meat.

1st time in Oxford...was craving Mexican food 🥑 & Viola we ended up here ...We were greeted pleasantly by Patrick....so kind and patient...he made sure my mother's needs were met 1st and with utmost consideration. We were further encouraged to have a feast ...3 Burritos 🌯 ...made w/A load of TLC, plus quesadilla, and a collasolle Nachos...we were Rock 'N Rolling...the staff work together so well ...Martha was a big help too. Again, a wonderful experience and the Food simply Delllllicious ... Huge Gratitude 🙏 ... beyond Thank You!!! All the Very Best & hopefully we'll be returning to Oxford for such a delightful experience. 😌✨🫶✌️

My first time trying Benito's Mexican restaurant, I got a naked burrito, and it was good, but the beef was not as tender as I expected. I like the roast cauliflower and various vegetables on the menu. I recommend exploring Benito's on your way.

We ordered burritos and bowls. The meat was tender, flavourful and delicious. The ability to add add-ins before they give it to you was great. It's almost served in a buffet style (like subway or Chipotle in the US) where you can add things as you go. They pile the food up high and it's very filling. The salsa was flavourful and spicy and didn't taste like ketchup, lol. I could easily order from here every day if time and budget allowed. They have a lot of options all very customisable and we enjoyed it very much!

Waited for ten minutes at the bar, one person behind didn’t even acknowledge me, I had to then ask if there open or not. Young lady says yes and I ask for a beer and a soft drink both warm and was told they have just restocked and this was 6pm on Monday, Did not buy anything just had to walk out.

Service was friendly, though the food itself is very bland. The 'Proteina Bowl' was lacking flavour despite the addition of their so-called spicy/hot sauce. The protein options (pork, beef, and chicken) are underwhelming and similarly lacking in spices and flavour.

I was so hungry and as a ceoliac I struggled all day to eat anything in Oxford. I went up to the counter and was served by a lovely person who helped me. I ordered a veggie naked burrito and it did not disappoint!! It was absolutely delish. 100% recommend.

Good burritos served here for a reasonable price - great for a quick lunchtime scran. Quite the 'canteen' like atmosphere but this is to be expected as this is the food court area of Westgate. Atmosphere could, however, be improved. Lady who served me was very nice. Lots of options to customise your burrito and mostly for no additional cost - highly recommend the slow cooked options. Thoroughly enjoyed their slow cooked pork burrito. Similar to Mission Burrito but not better. Good wheelchair accessibility as this is on the ground floor of Westgate. Bathrooms also accessible.

I’ve been coming here since Westgate re-opened, and they were in their old spot a the back of social. Was here every month for taco tuesdays, and was always blessed that the owner would come and say hello to me and my Mrs. The new round of staff are a bit hit or miss, but the lady that served me today cemented that I’m never gonna bother coming back. Didn’t bother listening to allergen information until the third time of asking, when she literally had a spoonful of it about to go on. Wasn’t even behind the counter until after I walked up, when I realised that she wasn’t a customer sat outside on the seats. It’s been a great run, benitos, but it’s over. Bad service kills even the best restaurants.

The tacos were flavourless and the chicken so oily it was drenched before I'd even eaten half of one. My partners burrito almost chipped his tooth as he bit into a bone. The cheese nachos had been microwaved for so long it was one solid lump. The only good thing was the cocktail. Definitely not worth £40

Worst food ever. If you're thinking of going here, don't waste your money and throw it in the river, you'll get more enjoyment out of it. I won't give this food to my dog.

I ate here once in 2019, before the restaurant was taken over by a new owner. The burrito tasted terrible back then. So I didn’t have high expectations this time, but I didn’t want to eat anything else in the food court. To my surprise, the food here tasted much better than it did in 2019. I had the Juan 🌯 which was a basic chicken burrito with fresh lettuce and pico, not too salty. The tortilla chips were overcooked and too hard, though. Great improvement overall 👍 (btw I wouldn’t call their “refried beans” refried - they looked more like regular pinto beans tbh)

I’m a regular customer but have an awful experience today lunch time when I’ve ordered elpresidante memeber of stuff was so tight about the portion,as I know el predante supposed to be a 1/2 kilo burrito as it’s described but he was putting so small of amount,when I asked why the portions is so small he answered because u asked for everything 😂😂,what a shame.I left the restaurant never go back,never recommend to anyone sorry xx

Came in for a quick bite to eat with a few friends. Upon sitting down to put our belongings at our table, 2 security officers approached us and rudely asked if we were actually going to order food. We then replied that we were about to go look at the menu to witch one security guard told us that he would throw us out if we weren't going to be eating. They then walked over to the bar where they kept glancing over to make sure we weren't up to no good. I was extremely uncomfortable with this encounter and shall not be returning in case that I am stereotyped again.

Delicious food, good service and plenty of gluten-free options. How they prepare the food is coeliac friendly. Really enjoyed our grilled chicken tacos and nachos.

£23 for 6 cold tacos with the structural integrity of tissue paper and even less taste - which is surprising given the metric tonne of salt used. To top it off the cheese used is the cheap, powdery stuff that doesn't melt. My girlfriend could only stomach one of her three it was that bad. One star for the bottled sodas though.

Was visiting Oxford this evening and decided to visit the Street Food area, within the shopping precinct. There were a few places to choose from including a burger place and a noodle place. Unfortunately for us, we decided on this absolute train wreck of an establishment. Firstly- it’s not cheap… around £7.50 for 3 tacos, which if food is of a good quality I am more than happy to pay but in this case, I was appalled. The two of us both went for tacos. My boyfriend chose the cauliflower and I went for beef brisket, in total with two Mexican sodas it came to £22.60. The staff seemed as if they just didn’t want to be there and not one of them cracked a smile- maybe caused by the fact they have to serve this rubbish every day. The brisket was salty and the sauce was extremely watery and runny, causing it to seep straight through the taco, making it fall apart instantly. The cheese was just the cheap, pre-grated cheddar, floury and bland and wasn’t even melted onto the tacos- it was like when you order cheesy chips from a burger van. The lettuce was just cheap, iceberg lettuce, dry and lifeless. I got offered guacamole- for 40p extra PER TACO!!!! No thanks! I managed to eat 1/3 of the puny things, mainly by scooping up pieces from the bottom of the dish as it had all fallen apart.

Benito's is a fast food eatery where they make your burrito or whatever you are after in the queue before you pay for it. Portions are huge and if you go for the meal deal you pay £9.95 for a burrito, tacos and a cold drink. Plenty of places in vicinity to sit and eat. Great quality and value for money!

Ordered the pollo power bowl- I cannot understand how there are any positive reviews for the food served at this place. The chicken and vegetables had no seasoning and seemed to have been stewing in water for hours, gauc was also completely flavourless. Even the tortilla chips were devoid of any seasonings what so ever. No idea how you can charge the best part of £10 for food that is lukewarm and flavourless. It is in no way authentic Mexican unless you are looking for the experience of a Mexican prison or nursing home for the terminally ill. Apart from the terrible food, the positives were the venue was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Just got food from here and was served by a very very rude young girl. And I ended up with an offer of discount from another member of staff. Threw ingredients into my food. Argued with me across the counter. We're regular customers and a very bad experience

This place screams of being poorly run. Listless, inexperienced and unprofessional staff, lack of attention to the customer, and miserly servings. There did not seem to be anyone senior setting an example or direction to the self-preoccupied staff. Burritos reasonable but nothing about this place makes me want to come back

Dined here yesterday and my first observation was that the food court enforced face masks, yet all bar one member of staff were wearing one? The food itself was average, found the staff to be a little on the rude side. Asked for salad in my wrap and the lady just decided to put whatever sauce she fancied in my burrito, would have been nice to have been given a choice like the other customers before. Asked which drinks were included in the deal and basically barked at us with her answer. Staff were unnecessarily blunt…

I want to give full marks as the previous two times I've been here have been fabulous, however, today I was served by a sourly waitress, redhead with glasses (18 November around 13:30) who barely filled my el presidente burrito, didn't really listen to what fillings I wanted and generally didn't even look in my direction or utter a word (she was vocal with other customers). I probably wouldn't have come back if she'd served me the first time I came here... Anyway, hopefully, I'll be back and get served by someone else as the burritos are delicious and I would totally recommend them.

We have just had the El Presidente Burrito - could not have been fresher. Excellent wrap - soft and huge, three slow cooked meats and all the fresh toppings. The guacamole was awesome, fresh coriander. Came with nachos on the side Recommend the Lime Soda- really fresh and cuts through the heaviness of completing the El Presidente. Absolutely recommend
