Better than expected, booked a table for 12 adults, the table was taken customers had to be moved to accommodate us. A choice of red or white wine . The cocktails were ok. The food was surprisingly good . Not sure about the hygiene as the glasses stuck to the table. It was busy on Friday night .

Sorry guys but I have to review this place. I had the worst experience in my life buying burrito here as there are very uneducated people working there but also they prepared my burrito without following the COVID guidelines and that’s unacceptable and so unprofessional. The worst place to buy something good to eat and the worst customer service. Now I understand why people start to go somewhere else for a clean burrito and nice atmosphere. All the best! Kat.

What a find! Used the TripAdvisor app while in the area and came across this gem. It’s only a very small restaurant but the food is fresh and delicious and even offers table service!

It’s always busy at lunchtime here but the queue moves quickly as the staff work well together to complete orders. They are friendly enough but sometimes things are a little rushed meaning wraps aren’t always constructed as nicely as they could be. There’s a few tables upstairs and a small dining area downstairs, but it’s a shame it never seems to be attended to by the staff. This means that you always have to clear the table of plates / glasses from previous diners. Some artwork on the walls wouldn’t go amiss either to create a bit of a better atmosphere. Each dish is always tasty and the portion size is large for the prices, especially in the area. For a filling midday meal it’d a good option although the range available can make it a little repetitive.

We always make sure when visiting London that we pay visit to one of our favourite places for dinner! Once again Benito’s Hat didn’t let us down, fantastic service, amazing food and more importantly margarita’s to die for! We look forward to our next visit, and recommend anyone visiting london to do the same! 🌯🌯🌯🌯🌯

Lunchdeal gedaan: overvolle burito, je kiest zelf deels de ingredienten, en wat drinken. Burrito was goed op smaak. Prima ervaring.

Food was inedible and cold, the ingredients to my meal had not drained properly so as I tried to eat my burrito a grey liquid oozed out of the tin foil. My husband took our meals back and was offered to have them warmed up, he said he wasn’t happy with that and didn’t want them warming through. The waitress just turned her back on him and walked away with the plates of food. Leaving him stood at an empty till. She carried on as though he wasn’t there. We eventually just left hungry and £32 out of pocket! The nachos tasted as though they had been left open too long Seriously disappointing food and service

Samen met vrienden hier een paar mexicaanse biertjes gedronken. Daarnaast taco's besteld die heerlijk waren. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader voor een snelle hap en drankje.

Saturday night. We needed a cheap and cheerful place to snack before going to the Palladium to see the great Roy Harper and we found this pleasantly empty place. We probably chose badly as the tacos weren't that nice. The chicken tasted like fish. I couldn't eat it but my friend did. Maybe the burritos are better. No refried beans. Well I never! The beers were £4 each. Wow! However, it suited our needs and was not expensive...apart from the beers. We liked the funkiness of the place and the Polish lady manager was good fun. Would probably go again if in the area on a busy night just to get away from the crowds.

Rated Very good but only based on the food it’s probably one of the best burrito I have had and I like Menu food quality good I like the style of the restaurant now the staff who work there need to work on interacting with the customer a little more a smile with manners and eye contact can go a long way and they also forgot our cocktails we had to inquire where they had got to I will probably revisit based on food but not service or staff

Benito’s Hat is such a nice and chill place. Great margaritas and tacos. Such nice staff. Would definitely recommend this place.

my first visit was with a friend , I was served by a lovely lady I ordered nachos and its the most authentic Mexican you can find in London! for someone who seemed to be the owner he told us about the roots of the food what it was very helpful. price was soo good for the quantity you get. one portion of nachos is for two people. its clean and the ambience is really cool , you get a Mexican vibe as soon as you walk in. I guess seating is a bit limited, the upstairs is great but there's like very few seats downstairs but it seems more of a area for staff than people to sit down and isn't amazing downstairs. there is a bar is well and student discount. I really like it and always go back!

We have been going to Benito’s Hat for a very long time, we were such fans we actually used to go once or twice a week! I am so sad to say this was our final visit today. We always have the bowl ‘naked’ option which used to be a hearty meal. You now have to literally argue with the staff for more food. They barely fill the bowl up to halfway. You get little rice or meat and if you ask for any extras they are minimal portions. There are much better chains around for a burrito or bowl options where they are happy to serve you and you feel you get much better value for your money!

I was expecting to eat a great beef burrito as advertised Unfortunately the meat had bad taste, the black beans had no taste at all and the sauce made things even worst as it was too spicy I hope this was accidental but I wouldn’t recommend this Benitos branch

We had bottomless brunch - margaritas to die for (we certainly drank enough to test this) and fantastic tacos (even the ones we didn't think we like were good, the rest were lovely).

Carte riche et variée disponible en anglais uniquement et pour des personnes qui découvrent le mexicain food ce n est pas évident de comprendre pour choisir. Le staff, 2 personnes au comptoir qui préparent les plats, servent les tables, débarrassent et se chargent de la caisse donc pas du tout à l écoute des clients qui sont là pour découvrir et ont besoin d être assisté. Le goût des tacos qu on a prit était basique rien d exceptionnel

Lovely and substantial offerings & excellent service. Enjoyed both the chat with the owner/chef and the relaxed atmosphere. The food was hearty & as authentic a Mexican dish as I’ve had in the UK.

It was late but still open. We had to re-ask for our wine, we had to ask for napkins... I ordered Chorizo & Jack Cheese Quesadilla. They had no chorizo, but offered chicken as a substitute – it was delicious as was the salad it came with.

One of my fav places near the office. They prepare a burrito for you in less than 2 minutes and it is a very good quality/price place. Quick and easy. If you fancy mex food, you have to come.

Terrible service-asked for a naked burrito-women just picked up a rusty bowl-ask for several fillings but asked where the romain lettuce was-and she looked at me like all the lettuce is the same what you talking about-the lettuce was old and horrible for the base- and the proportion size was terrible! It was small and not worth the same amount of money as it being in a wrap! Not impressed by this visit at all

Después de un par de recientes experiencias profundas brunch decepcionante'' en Londres, por fin he encontrado un sitio que ofrece exactamente lo que promete: buena comida, buen servicio y muchas bebidas. Probamos varios tacos de desayuno (las espinacas, queso feta y revueltos de uno era especialmente buena! Y las margaritas (ilimitado) te dan 1 litros sirve una jarra en un clásico o en las rocas). En general muy buena, y el personal era muy atento.

We dipped in Benito's to get away from the shopping madness of oxford street and we're greeted with lovely Latin music and the inviting smell of salsa and pulled pork, the atmosphere was good and the decor was very fitting and was well lit. I had the pulled pork burrito and it was amazing I highly recommend it! It was fresh, spicy and zesty.

Nice little restaurant supporting take away or small table settings to sit and eat. Not my way of serving and eating as 45+ aged customer ( I am getting old), but seemed to be very popular with quick turn around.

Benitos Hat are now doing 'table service' in the evenings. I use quotation marks because there isn't any service.

I went to benitos hat to switch things up because I always visit tortilla. I was disgusted when I saw the size of my burrito for £5.70, compared to the size of other burritos from central London! The cashier also chucked in 5 tortilla crisps...

I had an excellently tasty burrito with all the trimmings! The atmosphere was chilled, the music good, and I’ll definitely be back :-)

Estado aquí par tiempo siempre perfecto burritos! ! ! ! La última vez con amigos decidimos ir a pasar algunos cócteles bastante normal. El personal siempre es amable comida buena y barata.

Esto es un lugar de craqueo almuerzo si te gusta Burritos. . Bien llena de cargas. de sabor, un habitual para nosotros cuando nos visita Covent Garden!

Su comida aquí dependerá de una serie de cosas. Cómo el personal incompetente ya distraído y cómo es el lugar ocupado.

Mi pareja y me encanta estar aquí. Tales buenos precios para el centro de Londres, hemos estado muchas veces y la calidad ha sido siempre de primera categoría. Para nosotros tener una enorme y dos cócteles burrito cada hora feliz en cada era de menos de 30 libras. Los cócteles eran deliciosos y la comida era rápida, sabrosa y abundante. Recomiendo encarecidamente!

Seguimos lo que el software de navegación en mi teléfono nos dijo y no nos arrepentimos de nuestros burritos eran buenos (uno con cerdo, otro con pollo), el servicio fue rápido y el precio era más que razonable. I love my burritos but judge too harshly when the quality sometimes wavers. However, I felt compelled today to speak out about a bad experience I had this lunchtime. To put it simply this was a cold, loosely wrapped, under filled, tasteless lump. Got the dregs of the meat bowl making it unsubstantial and uninspiring. I went here for a burrito and tortilla chips this afternoon and it was quite tasty.Not the best Mexican I have ever had but it's about as good as it gets in London. Plus 2 for 1 margaritas every day during happyHour! How can you beat that! I would suggest they have more sauces available on the tables but otherwise it's a really fresh and tasty burrito

Efter en väldigt lång dag med flygresa och shopping var det en lättnad att få sätta sig på den här lilla snabbmatskedjan för en middag. Vi alla åt burritos och även om det kanske inte såg ut att vara jättemycket blev vi alla väldigt mätta. Burritosarna var stora och hade mycket fyllning och allt smakade utmärkt. Snabb service av personal och därav de perfekta stället när man är hungrig och behöver mat snabbt!

Was never quite sure about it whenever I wondered past but BH is great. Nice staff, good value happy hour and surprisingly good burritos. Service can be a tad slow when busy but hey that's london.

This is very close to Bond Street and easily accessible. The food is average but the prices are very reasonable, particularly considering its London!

The burritos are huge and bursting with flavour. You might have to queue a bit at lunch but it's well worth it.

If you love burritos you'll LOVE it here! I visited on both my last two visits to London. And on the second visit I made the awesome choice to try and out the margarita. It's not a plush place it is a down to earth great food and drinks kinda place. Takeaway or eat in, good value and really friendly staff. You know in London sometimes you just want something simple and yummy.

The best we've had since leaving Houston several years ago! Authentic, simple and healthy. Kids loved it (especially the doughnuts and chocolate sauce) and adults indulged in a couple of margaritas. Reasonably priced, friendly service.

I've been to this location before and I had a nice time, so decided to go back at 11:30 this weekend gone for some great food at a great price. We were there a couple of minutes early but they allowed us to sit inside until they officially open, then we were actively ushered towards the food. The last time I visited we had menus but instead we were having to look at the menu above the food, and chased "yes please, yes please" for our order.We ordered the food which all looked fresh and yummy, whilst a very disgruntled male member of staff just glared a lot whilst preparing drinks for the chiller cabinet. The food is prepared in front of you and at the end I ordered a beer and a frozen margarita. This is where everything stopped being ok.Firstly, I'd expect a Mexican place to add a slice of lime into the Sol. The poor girl had to search several bottles to find one that wasn't warm, and even the one I was given was barely chilled. She told the grumpy male member of staff for the frozen drink order and he nodded and just carried on labelling juice cups. So, we sat, and we ate our food. All of it. Slowly. The drink hadn't even been started. I went to complain and said we'd rather just have a refund and the man gave a refund without saying sorry or a word. The lady who took the order was very apologetic, however it did feel like we were disturbing the man's preparation time. I'd have thought that beer would have been restocked the night before and that the fridge should have been prepped before 11:30! It's not like it's an early start time.I received a refund for the drink and bought two bottles of water, and even that seemed to inconvenience the guy.The food was ok. It wasn't special, it was ok. It was fresh, it filled a hungry tummy, and was affordable. The service ruined this visit and this little place that I once raved about to friends became a place where I didn't feel welcome and that I was an inconvenience. I won't be returning to this venue, and it escapes a 1 star rating purely on the fresh food.

Netjes, proper en snelle service. Lekkere nachos met overheerlijke guacamole .Tussen 12 en 13u komen er zeer veel zakenmensen en workingpeople over de vloer.Als dessert 'churros' gegeten. Lekker.Ook gratis water ter beschikking met frisse limoen.Langs de buitenkant oogt het zaakje een beetje goedkoop maar geloof me mensen, gewoon binnen gaan.

What a great visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food wonderful with good portions and value. If you love Burrito's this is the place for you. Very authentic Mexican. We loved the whole atmosphere and especially the food. The wine is a little disappointing but at only £3.75 per glass it was good value. Maybe a change of brand would be better for the house wine. Well done, really enjoyable lunch.

Upon entering it looked too busy to be able to sit, but we were quickly shown that there was seating downstairs. We were served very quickly and unable to carry the nachos and margaritas downstairs in one trip, a waitress brought down the drinks for us. It was a chilled pleasant atmosphere for a catch up with a friend. The nachos were tasty (though lacking jalapenos) and the margaritas were yummy - more than one was consumed!

Stopped in for a quick evening meal and was not disappointed. Enjoyed the Hat Trick Taco's and the pull pork bun after Nacho's Grande for starters. Try to eat at Benito's Hat at least once while in London and again was not disappointed. Friendly staff, good food and a relaxed environment, can't ask for anything more.

lamento dar una mala opinión pero mi amiga y yo cenamos aquí el dia 9-2-17 y comimos algo en mal estado. Went on a saturday evening looking for a cosy place after an exhausting christmas London walk. Payed £40 for two meals, two sides and a liter of strawberry daquiry. All very good, especially the sweetcorn. Nice atmosphere and quick service.

Good tex-mex fast food at reasonable price. Tasty, but sometimes serve a little cold. The place is nice and the service is attentive.

Our visit to Benito's was one that we weren't expecting; we stayed longer than anticipated because the vibes were so fun and positive - I'm not a huge Burrito fan, but after visiting Benito's Hat, I'm convinced that Burrito's and cocktails are a WINNING combination. Sprinkle a little of Rahul's bubbliness, generosity and cheekiness and you have yourself truly one of the BEST dining experiences there is.

Had lunch here during the week, after eating in a few Mexican places recently, I found Benito's Hat to be quite disappointing. Staff seemed bored and the soft tacos were not quite good enough. One good thing is the speedy meal you can have when on a timed break

Absolutely fantastic! Best tacos Iv ever had. Me and my wife nipped in yesterday afternoon, during a short stay in london and I will definitely go back to Benito's. Fantastic staff, food and location!

After the worst six weeks of my life, and then a Friday to make those six weeks look like a 5 star vacation, I wandered into this place with all the charisma of a halitosis riddled troll. The staff treated me like miss universe on sight and in conversation, like a nobel prize winning scientist who'd discovered the cure for poverty, disease and injustice. They reseated me 7 times without raising an eyebrow at my inability to decide if the lighting, music, fellow diners were to my liking or my ever changing convictions about these urgent and pertinent issues. They allowed me unlimited time in their well lit, hygienic ladies bathroom without asking if I was ACTUALLY EVER GOING TO ORDER FOOD OR EVEN A BEVERAGE. This was 6pm on a Friday evening btw. Then they brought me a huge box (I wasn't sure I was staying or going:) of the best Mexican chilli beef EVER and a very large glass of red (ok two but who's counting?). Food AMAZING STAFF- beyond compare All the other shiz peeps find critical in restaurants- JUST GO. I don't post reviews. This one, they charmed and fed me into it. What can I say?Worst kept secret in WI now you've read my review. At least you don't know who I am. Anyway Rahul and Gastion were so accommodating that I'm hoping they actually own the company and are just posing as service workers. Guys like this give me hope. And after today, that is a feat better than Mexican chilli and red wine!Don't go, I want the corner table for myself!!!!! Oh and the downstairs seating area isn't half as nice as people say. It's um. Ok It's awesome. Whatever

Nos gustó mucho, muy bien de precio (menos de 20 libras la cena), acabamos llenos de no poder comer más. Pedimos dos burritos grandes que estaban muy buenos...Ojo a los que no pueden tomar picante... porque hasta sin picante pica un poquito....Recomendable.

I went to Benito's Hat on Great Castle St. just before closing time last night for a quick meal with a friend. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great - healthy, tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Stupidly, I forgot my Macbook Air at the restaurant as we were in a bit of rush to get home. The closing staff left it in a safe place and it was graciously given to me by the staff this morning when I arrived just as the restaurant was opening. I am so grateful for the kindness and honesty of the staff at this location. Combined with the the delicious, reasonably priced food, I'll remain a loyal customer. Thank you!

We have been looking for decent Texas style Beef Brisket at an affordable price in London. This is the nearest we have got so far but we are still looking. Great staff, a basic but adequate setting just off the horrible Oxford Street. It was an Oasis of calm with outside seating. We had a Burrito and a Taco with all the fixings for a cost of £12.60 (guacamole at an extra cost of £1 strangely). Very pleased with the quality and portion size. One gripe I'm afraid. The food is served in foil and on a metal plate which means that the food doesn't stay hot for very long. Far better than the 'big chains' on Oxford Street so worth finding!

Love the veggie mushroom tacos really delicious and love that you get the nachos on the side. Nice touch. Good price and have to try the cocktails. The staff are friendly and the seating area is small but cosy. Definitely recommend.

We had a quick burrito and margarita after work. My burrito was massive but so delicious! Margaritas were strong and very reasonably priced during happy hour buy 2 margaritas for price of one! Happy times! I will be back soon!

Now that is a great burrito! We came here last year and I was quick to find it again this trip. Great burrito made to order. I had mine with a braised chicken and it was lovely, sooo tasty. I will visit again soon. Jaritos sodas are a nice accompaniment too.

I have a nut allergy and the manager was more than helpful; even went though all the different things with me. No nuts in anything btw. Food was amazing - really filling and tasty. I had veggie option which comes with free guacamole. Will defiantly be back for more.

We passed this little place in Covent Garden, whilst looking for another Mexican. And with aching feet and wingeing kids, we stopped here, and I'm so glad we did. The food is lovely, our burritos were fab, the kids ate everything .. And I liked the tortilla chips on the side. And all of this at an exceptionally reasonable price, quite rare in London.

I went here with some friends in the evening during the week and was looking forward to it. Everything seemed haphazard and we were unsure how to order - no information on the menu and found it strange to be asked what exactly we wanted and to pay for it ahead of time. It seemed like Subway but backwards and was confusing to have a two different lines.We each had the baby steak burrito which was ok but lacked flavour. The table hadn't been cleaned between customers and drinks were overpriced for the size of them. We decided to stay and have a couple more drinks since club music wasn't very conducive to conversation. The cocktails were nice but seriously overpriced and chocka-full of ice instead of drink. It was ok for a one-off but would go elsewhere in the area next time and would think twice before going to another Benito's Hat outlet.

I went there with my wife. We both love Mexican food and she had heard good things about another Benito's hat restaurant. We went there for lunch. The service was terrible, the food was thrown on the tortilla and when we got them the tortilla was soaking wet and didn't taste much. I don't know if it was because of this one guy, it's a pity, I will certainly not go back.

Fue nuestra primera parada a la llegada a Londres, comimos burritos, los cuales puedes personalizar a gusto, pequeño o grande, y echar los ingredientes que quieras, en mi caso arroz, pollo, verduras y salsas. El burrito grande y una coca cola fueron 7.20 libras. El ambiente estaba muy bien, comimos en una mesa muy grande en la parte de abajo. Recomendado.

Went here by chance as oxford circus tube closed unexpectedly. Basic tables and service. Nice food fresh flavours and good value by London standards £49 2 adults 2 kids and no-one was hungry after!

Just stopped by while shopping on Oxford st. Very satisfying and yummy fast food. Environment was too casual for a late night dinner or drinks, but perfect for a quick bite.

Just before Christmas and we wanted a quick bite before seeing "Cats" at the London Palladium. I phoned in the morning, was told there'd be no problem for a table for 5 at 5, and there wasn't.Not exactly 5* cuisine, but good, honest Mexican dishes, quickly served (which is not the norm, serving, I mean, not the speed . . . !) and we were well sated. Lots of people, busy atmosphere. We were downstairs and thus had space and time to chat and enjoy ourselves. Good value, would recommend and use again.

I have eaten more good burrito's in my life, across the world, than I should probably be proud to admit, however, when I worked down the road from this place, I would go all the time, it was the best thing about my week.

I love mexican food and this place never fails to deliver a great burito! It can be a little busy around 1pm, but thats the price you pay for a popular place.

Had a great burrito start to our London day trip. This place it just 2 minutes walk from the H&M on Oxford street.The for food looks very fresh and was really tasty. The prices don't wipe out all your shopping funds either. 2 burritos, a side and 2 drinks were £16Definately on the revisit list

Healthy ingredients with Mexican toppings just the way we like them !Lovely staff, really ready to answer any questions you could have on the food !Maybe the only thing I could say would be: Watch the door! Many seats are near it and people do not close it well as it is quite hard to reopen afterwards. It gets cold ! :(Great place otherwise !

Ci siamo venuti io e il mio ragazzo, dato che eravamo in zona. Ottimo cibo,tutto molto saporito, il locale è abbastanza pulito, piccolo e ideale per una serata all'insegna di una del profumi Messicani. Piatti ben proporzionati. Personale molto cordiale. Ottimo, da provare assolutamente.

Whilst in amongst the hustle and bustle of the NFL on Regent St, my partner and I decided to take a little break for a snack. We stumbled upon this place and we were not disappointed. The menu had nachos, burritos, tacos etc on.. All made to your personal preference. If you're in London and you don't want your typical chain restaurant lunch, give this a go. It was so good, at a great price. Will definitely visit next time we are in London.

I didn't eat here, but did taste my friend's taco's - expensive for what it was in my opinion, but decent, quick Mexican food.I was here for drinks and thoroughly enjoyed a few helpings of margherita and tequila!! Bit small and lacking atmosphere, but the drinks were of a good quality!

I'm a pretty tough customer when it comes to mexican fare. I appreciate what Benito's Hat is doing, but it just didn't wow me. It was nice to find a burrito in London. Staff were very nice and the location was great.

I loved this place so much. When I went off the restaurant I couldn't stop smiling and saying how much I loved it! Highly recommend!

My cousin was visiting from Texas and decided that we should try this place. Very decent margaritas - didn't feel like they were skimping on the alcohol as some places do. Happy hour was very happy indeed. My cousin was impressed with the very authentic guacamole which we polished off in record time. I had a grilled chicken burrito which I struggled to finish due to the generous portion. It was incredibly tasty - I opted for mild salsa as medium was a bit too spicy for me. Ingredients are fresh and flavours are very tex-mex. Would I go again...definitely. I've discovered the one in Kings Cross (not too far from my office) and I'm now the proud owner of a loyalty card - two more meals and I get a free burrito! Can't wait.
