Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bengal Masala, having had many good takeaways over many years. We collect our orders and the service is always good and food is hot and ready to be picked up at the suggested time.

Iv know Raj alot of years, and the cooked food he produces is by far the best take away food iv ever had, he always has a smile and courteous. Iv never had a bad take away of Raj, the food is always fresh & hot and deliverd with a smile. Thankyou Raj keep up the good work.

The worst meal I’ve ever had scampi was like rubber and smelt put straight into bin King prawns ya more like mini cheap prawns complained and was told to F off BEWARE KEEP AWAY very very very bad food I am now going to report them to the health department

Used Bengal Masala now for a number of years. I don’t normally do reviews but I was thinking after my latest meal that I’ve never had a bad meal or had to complain about anything ever over the years. I doubt that can be said about a lot of other food outlets. Staff are always friendly and helpful and delivery is always at a reasonable time from ordering, not often it’s longer than 30mins , generally within that timeframe. You are always guaranteed very good tasty food from this takeaway with very polite and friendly delivery men and always on time. We ordered 2 Mixed Kabab starters with salad and a Vegetable Samosa starter with salad and some Papadoms with mango chutney, chopped onions with chilli and garlic sauce. For the main dishes we had the Special Mix Biryani with ( chicken, lamb, beef & prawn ) served with a vegetable curry sauce. Very good and very filling. I had Naga Chicken which was chicken tikka cooked with special naga sauce, herbs, spices & a chef’s special sauce. and a couple of chapatis, A hot dish but very tasty . Enjoy

Once again we have just had another fantastic takeaway meal from Bengal Masala, very easy to ring up and place your order. The three of us started with plain and spice popadoms with mango chutney, chopped onions, garlic and chilli sauce, my wife had the Stuffed Mushrooms which was, fresh mushrooms stuffed with mince meat and coated in breadcrumbs which was served with salad and mint sauce. My son had Reshmi Kebab which is similar to shami kebab with scrambled egg, I had the mixed Vegetable starter which consisted of vegetable spring roll, vegetable samaso and onion bhaji and again served with salad and mint sauce. My wife had another starter for her main meal which was Mixed Kebab, considering of sheek kebab, onion bhaji and chicken tikka bites again with salad. My son and myself had the Chef’s Special Bhuna which was, Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and seekh kebab cooked with diced onions, green pepper and tomato with coriander in a medium sauce, we shared a cheese nan and chips.All the food was cooked to perfection and lovely and tasty Delicious, we had it delivered and paid cash. I am vegetarian and very particular with what I eat and I usually order a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. My other half sometimes orders king prawn shashlick. Restaurant standard food with clean delicious flavours. Highly recommended !

Just had a nice Indian takeaway while in lockdown, with home delivery, please note cash only at shop and delivery. The starters and main meals very good and plentiful, the only fault was the spice popadoms we’re very over cooked, so we didn’t have them. Enjoy

On Sunday evening, myself and my partner called this Takeaway for a collection. Half an hour later i arrived to be told, in quite a rude manner, that he didn't have my order. He told me that i must have gone to the wrong Takeaway. I second guessed myself and went to get my phone out of the car to see if i had in fact gone to the wrong place. I called the number and of course, i was right, i did go to the right place. He then still insisted i was wrong! I calmly explained that i really didn't and asked how long a new order would be - he then went on and on about how 'he treats his customers right' and 'amazing customer service', which in all honesty, anyone can brag about. But a word of advice if the manager is reading this, just admit you're wrong and people will be more inclined to return or laugh it off as a simple mistake. You absolutely ruined mine and my partners only night off.

This is a fast food place that also delivers. The food is very good with a wide ranging menu and helpful advice on the phone if you need to alter something. They don't use ghee, they use oil and I always want a small amount of oil in my food, so they always make sure with mine. You can tell they take pride in their food!

Of all the Indian food outlets in Clitheroe this is simple the best, great service, fabulous food, cooked to order, they are also able to cook off menu, yum a Achari Lamb Tikka tonight thx Raj

Hoy fue mi primera vez visitando- pedí el menú para dos y quedé muy impresionado. Una enorme cantidad de comida y era toda la calidad, entre los mejores bhajis de cebolla que he probado (lo sé, un reclamo). Además el servicio de comida para llevar en la era realmente amable que siempre hace la diferencia. Masala de Bengala India sopla el sabor del agua en mi opinión!

Small Indian takeaway which delivers. Take phone orders & delivers very good, hot food quickly in the Clitheroe area. We always get free popadoms too, which is nice. Particularly recommend the butter chicken

we order from here a lot...The best curry house bar none in Clitheroe..highly recommend the Shahi Murgh Masala..minced lamb and chicken tikka and boiled egg.. always very quick delivery and with an extra poppadum !

Our 1st Indian take away in the area and it was a great choice. Had the mixed biryani and a chicken tikka. Onion bajis and samosa to start. Popadums on the house. £16 great value and great good. Very friendly owner. Will be going back.

Would bore everyone if we reviewed the takeaway every time we use it. Fantastic food. Better than any restaurant or takeaway I have ever been to. Staff really friendly and helpful if you want to try something different. Always hot when delivered and order always correct. Highly recommended!!!!

Had a "carry out curry" from here. It was quite tasty and the price was reasonable. Prompt service if you order by phone. Parking for pick can be a bit hard, but they do offer a delivery service. Worth a try

We regularly use this takeaway and have never had any problems. There is a great choice on the menu and they will adjust them for you eg if u want something more spicy. Local delivery is free over £10 which is handy. The portion sizes are large so me and my husband tend to share a curry and rice then get an additional naan and popadoms to share. Nowhere else has ever compared for Indians and I would definitely recommend to potential new customers x

we have been using bengal for years. but of late the qualityor the food has gone to the dogs . I ordered a king prawn madras when it came it was basically just orange peppered water and the prawns had no flavour . i wont be using them again because to many times of late the food has just been shocking which is just soul distroying when you were expecting really good food to come to your door .

We have been buying our food from Raj for years. It's always beautifully cooked, well priced and the service is always nothing less than perfect.

We had friends round that are into Indians and said it would be hard to beat the one in Rishton. They buy a curry each and I said you get a lot from Bangal Masala. When got one each and they said they only get small rich with theirs and they don't fill the tray up with curry. They could not eat it all and they can eat. They also said that it was one of the best curry they have ever had.

Great Indian take away best in the Ribble Valley. We order from here every couple of weeks. They always give you plenty. Raj will go out of is way to help.

Of all the take away Indians in Clitheroe this is by far the best and I would go as far to say it beats the restaurants! Yet to have a disappointing meal from here, I used to stick to the same Indian meal, now I always try something new confident that it will be delicious! And I've yet to get a bad one. The owner is always polite and remembers you and the whole shop is clean and well presented. A must try! Pick something from the chef recommends and you won't be disappointed!
