We have been going to the Bengal Brasserie with our family for years and for special occasions because the staff were so friendly and food great . Last nite was a total disaster The service was shocking , we waited for ages, turned out they forgot our order . The restaurant was filthy , food spoilage all under our table. The food was served cold and had to be returned The noise level was that of a night club . Toilets not clean and Had to ask staff for toilet rolls ! Really disappointed as we took friends for first time and had to keep apologising never again !

Has a party of 20 people in Bengal last night. Absolutely fanatic night. service was amazing and food was outstanding. They could not have done enough for us.

I was over from Newcastle upon Tyne for my birthday to spend with my daughter and "Belfast"family and second time here and both times amazing. I’ve never felt so disappointed as an Indian until I’ve entered this restaurant. They have failed all fundamentals of Indian cooking. The vegetarian Briyani was thr worst I’ve tasted I would never expect mushrooms, ladyfingers, cabbage and broccoli. I feel sorry for my brothers and sisters. The STAR of the show was the tap water. Thank you Belfast. The paneer mutar was like diabetes coming into my body again

Went for an impromptu date. Service was great. They sat us at the perfect table being mindful of our baby, with room for us and pram. Food was super delicious and naan was yummy. We took our time eating, never felt rushed. We go back for sure.

We had dinner at Bengal Brasserie last night. Coming from Australia we weren't sure what to expect from an Indian restaurant in Ireland, but oh my gosh, what a delightful evening we had. Food was the best Indian we have tasted and the decor was different and classy. Service from all staff exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Didn’t read the excellent reviews beforehand, and we weren’t disappointed. Took a chance to walk-in after 9pm and they happily gave the 3 of us a seat. Absolutely loved it, staff very attentive and quick friendly service. Just a shame we’re only visiting this lovely area.

This is not just the best Indian Restaurant in Belfast it's the best we've ever eaten in, service perfect, welcome warm and friendly, but food from heaven. We had everything from fish, korma, Rsosheen to dopiaza. Never tasted a more delightful nann bread - - Perfect. A restaurant run with a supremely professional touch. I'll be bringing ng all my friends here as well as visiting as regularly as I can. Jake

The food was fantastic - tasty and generous. The service was a bit patchy, we had to request our bottle of wine three times before it was brought to the table. The restaurant was very busy and noisy.

This is quite simply the worst restaurant in Belfast by a distance. I urge you not to go. I was there with a group of friends on a Saturday night and food took 2 hours to come. In that time not once did someone come to check on us or apologise for the delay. At one stage we asked for food and a grinning idiot said it was coming. It arrived 40 mins later. There were several tables round us who arrived after, ordered food and left before our food came. In fact one table did this twice before ours came. My food wasn't even warm when it arrived and was very average. It is obvious this place cannot operate and should shut down. Please do so and stop wasting peoples time.

Good was lovely however due to being Valentine’s Day. Was an hour late but delivery guy was lovely and rang to apologise twice for the hold up. Food was cold when arrived

We went here this evening for valentines day having booked over a week ago in advance. We were not aware it was only a valentines set menu being offered as it was not advertised anywhere so we were slightly disappointed as we wanted to try curries beyond the typical 6 dishes offered. We were seated very quickly in a nice area. We asked for two cocktails from the menu on our table and were told that cocktails were not on offer this evening. That's fair, it was quite busy, just unfortunate that they had cocktail menus on all the tables. We ordered two spirits and mixers, however unfortunately, only one spirit and two mixers arrived. Easy mistake so we didn't make a fuss. Starters were gorgeous. We were offered a drinks refill so I tried to reorder my missing spirit. It never arrived at any point during the rest of our sitting and our waitress was down a few times to the table. Mains were good but they weren't outstanding. Overall, the menu felt overpriced compared to their usual menu. Also disappointing that the menu offers tea or coffee as a fourth course which is never offered. We were offered a dessert menu for paid desserts instead. Overall, not a terrible experience, but could have been so much better for the prices.

We were a single table of 17, booked for 7.30. By 7.45 we still were waiting then were shown to 2 tables, which we pointed out to the waiter that we wanted one table as agreed at the time of booking. Then the food didn't arrive until 9.15, and was like warm. Poor attitude from the staff, medicore bland food. Won't be back.

Got a delivery and was absolutely stinking the lamb jalfrazie was the worst I never had if you could call it a jalfrazie it was all watery and nothing like a jalfrazie and the rest was not great, would not go back to the Lisburn road one stay away never again and the irony to ask for over £50 was a disgrace for the quality of the food very poor.

That’s the first time I have tried the benegal Brassiere on Lisburn road usually get from the ormeau road, and it’s was one of the worst indian food I never had the lamb jalfrazie was watery and un eatable I know love lamb jalfrazies this was not a jalfrazie stinkin had to eat the meat out of it, would not go there again stay away, and the order for 2 was over £50 so very disappointing.

Food didn’t come. Driver said he phoned but no missed calls and did not ring the door bell as we would have heard. Disappointed as we always get out of here, waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes on the food to ring back and be told we were getting no food considering it was is late and everywhere is closed.

Food was good - would love to try the food sitting in next time! but loved the chutneys/dips and our delivery driver was fantastic. Called ahead to make sure he knew where he was headed and was great craic (our place is hard to find and nobody has ever thought to do this so it was much appreciated!) good experience all round :)

This is by far the best Indian food in Belfast, and I've visited the vast majority of them. If you like Chicken Tikka Masala then try their Chicken Tikka Balti, its so good. They have amazing food, great service, and a date night ambiance. They also make the best espresso martinis I've ever had, ever.

Best Indian restaurant for great food, service and atmosphere. You have to treat yourself to a lovely relaxing evening. We go every month. Whats a better recommendation ☆☆☆☆☆

As always the food from Bengal Brasserie was delicious, only issue was delivery time, it was 30mins late and cold when it arrived requiring us to reheat it causing some of the starters to soften
