Lovely friendly cafe, we visit often for lunch. This time i chose a tiffin cake which we could not bite. I did complain and asked a member of staff to cut it. We waited 10mins and although my husband managed to chew around it from the outside , my teeth couldnt take the challenge. I complained again but they were not interested. We went away unhappy. If we had been offered a different cake in exchange we would have been happy. We didnt want our money refunded. Customer service sadly lacking on this occasion. Incidentally my friend a weekly visitor told me she broke her tooth on the tiffin. Another friend takes it home to melt , rather spoils the idea of going out for coffee and cake. Having said all this on the many occasions that we have called weve been happy.

Lovely relaxing surroundings and great oat lattes. They do a sausage butty but only until 11.30am as it is on their breakfast menu. Usually quite a lot of vegan cake choice. Is love to see more vegan food options as this really is a hidden gem! If you want to know why vegans are vegan check out one of these documentaries. Dog friendly, oat lattes, good selection of vegan cake, good sized car park, outside and inside seating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love meeting with family here for a chilled couple of hours. 😍 And if you order before 11.30am you can get yourself a delicious vegan sausage sarnie in a white bap. ✔️🙌🙌 Nothing tastes as good as being vegan feels. 👌 Except vegan food of course! ❤️❤️❤️

On the A161 between Belton and Epworth this is a popular spot with local families as well as walkers and cyclists. It serves a selection of breakfast sandwiches until 11.30. Sandwiches and paninis are available all day. It also has a very good selection of tray bakes as well as cheesecakes (definitely recommended!). Prices are very reasonable. Food is ordered at the counter and then brought to you - either inside or out. Staff are friendly and helpful. The odd mish mash of furniture give a relaxed atmosphere. It is also dog and disability friendly.

Just the place for Colin the Cat, Derek the dog The staff are friendly and the produce of high quality. Post noe. However Collins, the Cats face, was squished when I got him home, and Dougal looked like he'd had a punch up the bracket. Ave since moved but bee warned, the dog cake looked like a rottweiler, still tasted alright though. FEWMIN. But they nicely asked me if I'd like tea bag in or something which I thought was a lovely offer, but I was fine with the bacon butty at that time of the day. Beautifully laid out and highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with our tasteless, extremely watery, over cooked chicken takeaway. We ordered two different mains, and both looked exactly the same and were bland. To add insult to injury, it was the most expensive Indian takeaway we have ever had. If you are a lover of amazing Indian cuisine, avoid this place!!

We had the Pan Asian dishes-what a terrible choice! There were raw uncooked red chillies in the stir fry (it was desperately hot and NOT medium as specified on the menu), the prawn bamigoreng was a non- descript dish that (we felt) was made from a pot noodle base. Maybe the fact they’re called Messingham tandoori gives a clue to the name and feel we should have ordered tandoori dishes. They need to take their ‘pan Asian’ dishes off the menu!

Discovered they do breakfast here, so popped in for a spontaneous visit. Was pleasantly surprised. You can have a cooked or continental breakfast and keep going back to help yourself for a set price. Good range of food. Staff helpful. Would definitely visit again.
