Belmont House Hotel in Banbridge

Just a lunch visit. Great service, quality eats and good value

This is a great hotel. Its ideally positioned for the Game of Thrones Studio tour, which is 5 minutes down the road. If you are doing the tour and want somewhere to stay overnight, I can certainly recommend here. It’s a lovely cosy, boutique hotel. The rooms a very comfortable and its set in a quiet location. The restaurant is really good and breakfast is great. There is also a bar in the basement. Its also ideally located for the A1 between Belfast and Dublin, so if you are driving between the two, this is a good place to stop overnight. As I was doing the GoT tour and then Dublin it was ideal for me.

Amazing hotel and the family room had plenty of space for us. Food and drinks were pricey though but around great stay and will happily return

Done with friend's there was a toy fair on,every year last Friday of December had a great time,food was great service Exellent as well,be back down again.

Beautiful hotel, really well decorated for Christmas, just a little cold probably because it's an old building, but full of history, food was disappointing

While this is not in the centre of Banbridge it is on a hill with nice surroundings. An old hotel but well kept, I had a very good 3 course lunch here for £15.

First the pluses: Very good food and decent restaurant . Polite front desk service. Disappointed: With very small room, old furniture and worst was the bathroom. Never seen so small in my 40 years of traveling. No elevators or service to take luggage on upper floors. Would not recommend for couples.

Fine food, always piping hot. Service is of the highest quality. Waiters well dressed and carried out their duties to a very high standard.

Perfect Sunday lunch. They were exceptionally busy but still delivered delicious food.

Came as a party of four for dinner this week. Food was excellent in both quality and quantity,and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Always enjoy a Sunday lunch at the Belmont. Beautiful room, great ambience, good choice of food on the menu, excellent, friendly, efficient service and reasonably priced.

I was here for an afternoon tea, very disappointed, 10 to a table, 8 traybakes between 10, just about 1 scone each, jam in plastic potions, no coffee served for almost 20 minutes, and only when requested after staff saying its coming. I was here last year and it was much better, standards have fallen.

Had a very nice meal and a couple of peroni beers, very nice barman. Nice lounge, but just a bit too bright with the lights.
