Bellini's in Woking

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Bellini on Saturday evening. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable and modern with a very nice atmosphere. My wife is a vegetarian and was very happy with the options available. My fresh salmon steak was delicious . The food was beautifully cooked and there was enough time between courses. The staff are very friendly and efficient. It was reasonably priced and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The atmosphere was pleasant, the glasses, cutlery and table cloths clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Sadly, however, that was the limit of the positives. The tables were set too close together meaning that we could hear what fellow diners were saying, and more importantly, the food lacked flavour so was disappointing. Whilst the fresh sardines in sage butter were delicious, the deep-fried brie had virtually no taste and was boosted only by the accompanying onion chutney. Even so, the brie tasted rubbery. Equally disappointing was the calzone, which had a soggy base, and the carbonara which lacked any form of richness. The wine was reasonably priced for a British restaurant, albeit short of choice for single glasses, and £3.50 for a can of diet coke was a bit stiff. I had been wanting to try Bellini's for some time and hoped they would provide a delicious meal reminiscent of my many evenings spent in Italy. Sadly, the reality was far from this. I'm hoping that the chef was simply having a bad day, but for the time being I will look elsewhere for my carbonara.

Bellini is a very good restaurant which I would recommend to anyone who wish to try a nice and flavoury italian dish. Salvo and Valeria are lovely people and with their symphaty they will let you feel like home at your favourite restaurant. We have lunch here every Sunday and we celebrate here all our birthday parties. The staff is amazing, Ilona and Helena are very professional and always ready to give you the best service. The kitchen staff would be able to satisfy your palate with amazing dishes. Bellini let me feel immersed on the flavour of my own country, Italy 🇮🇹. The food is amazing with plenty of different special available from week to week. They also have available fresh, home made dessert, which deserves trying. Very highly recommended. 5 stars plus.

This is without a doubt the most amazing Italian restaurant I have eaten at in the London area. Service is wonderful, staff are friendly and food is fresh well portioned and tastes excellent. This is my go to place when I need comfort food with a great vibe.

What an amazing restaurant! From start to finish my experience with bellinis was impeccable. The food was fresh, tasty and served quickly. The staff were super friendly and even gave a free shot of limoncello. I would definitely recommend to a friend! I will be returning. 5 starts!!!!

We’ve been here a few times before and the food and service has always been lovely. However this time, the waitress didn’t seem to be in a hurry, they took ages to take our order, we were sat outside as requested. When they brought our lasagne we had to wait an extra ten minutes for our chips. When asked where they were, the waitress said the chef was doing something and gave us some mixed comment. They finally arrived then again when asked for some tomato sauce and salt they also took ages to bring it. The food wasn’t very nice tbh and the meat in the lasagne looked like dog food, it was over cooked, no tomato sauce in sight and it was extremely dry. Very disappointing visit and to be honest has put us off visiting again.

We had a lovely evening. The young and very attentive staff were excellent and very professional. The restaurant itself has a cosy and warm environment with excellent views of the canal. It feels like a family business rather than a stale chain restaurant and the prices are reasonable too. There was a slight misunderstanding with the bill but everything was resolved without incident. My wife and I had a lovely evening and will be supporting this local business in the future.

Our favourite Italian restaurant. Menu is as you would want, lots to offer and the pizzas are amazing. The welcome you have when you walk in is friendly and warming. We would recommend this restaurant every time. Never had a bad meal.

I came to this restaurant with my family for dinner and the food was excellent. We especially noticed how the staff took care of us and did everything professionally. Here I also tried the most delicious tiramisu that they make themselves.

We booked a table at this restaurant to celebrate our mum's Birthday. The service was average and the waiting stuff seemed a bit stressed out and not very polite. We had our starters which were ok, however when the main course was served, my sword fish dish was very salty and my daughter's pizza didn't arrive together with our mains, apparently in this Italian establishment they managed to burn a pizza and had to make another one causing the delay. When our desserts were ordered, the owner manager who spoke Russian approached us and demanded to know if we were ready to leave because he needed the table for other guests who had just arrived (apparently there was a mix up with the reservation times but it was not our fault they messed it up). By then we had been at the restaurant only for 1 hour and 30 minutes and our desserts were on the way, so we felt this request was very inappropriate and rude bearing in mind the special occasion. I couldn't believe were asked to leave before having our sweet on our mother's Birthday! Unacceptable attitude! The rest of the meal was ruined completely and we felt rushed and under pressure to go, asked to pack up our desserts but the ice cream part melted on our way home and had to be discarded. We will never ever come back to this restaurant where guests are treated so badly with lack of basic respect.

Just spent a wonderful evening for our daughter’s 21st birthday. Everything was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble! We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us who they treated as a princess, she loved it! The food, the ambience, the service all 5 star! Amazing! Thank you

Was heading up to Woking for the day and knew after our previous visit here in September last year we had to come back while we were local, as the last time we came it was incredible! Our second visit didn't disappoint, the food is absolutely amazing along with top-tier service. Made us feel super welcoming and had a good laugh with us. Will now have to try make up an excuse to come back to the area so we can eat here again! 100% recommended to anyone giving this review a read.

The starters never came out at the same time, ordered still water and got fizzy, ordered medium rare steak and it was served medium, the waiter broke a glass and spilled wine on my daughter and never offered to replace the wine pay the cleaning billl. At the end of the evening I asked for a discount because of the service and was given a £12. discount, not a lot considering the bill came to £260. All in all a very disappointing experience and will not be returning

This is a lovely restaurant whether it be a cosy meal for two or a special celebration lunch for thirty people of ages ranging from six to eighty, which we had a week ago. We were in the area overlooking the canal and had tables of sevens, eight and nine which were beautifully laid out with crisp white linen cloths and napkins. Fabulous meal and service at our favourite local Italian restaurant. The scallop and halibut specials were beautifully cooked and delicious as was everything else that we ordered. Many thanks Salvo, you and your staff are doing a great job.

This was our first visit and we were extremely impressed. As we stepped through the door, there was a warm Italian welcome, followed by an attentive waiter who took our order with a smile. Then the food arrived, octopus in a tomato sauce, which was absolutley divine and thereafter, a good portion of liver for my wife and spaghetti pomodoro for me and rounded off with zabaglione. The food was excellent and we will return.

Came with my partner and her parents as they live in St John’s. Lovely service, and amazing food. The fish tasted so fresh and the calamari was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were so friendly and seemed to genuinely like working there which makes such a huge difference, will definitely be going back.

Great little find in Surrey. We were visiting the area in August to collect an award, at a nearby Hotel, and decided to venture away from the venue to have lunch as a team. We were so happy that we chose here as the service and food was amazing. We love supporting small restaurants like this, over big chains. There were four of us in our party, and we enjoyed bread and olives to start, then we had pizza, lasagna, carbonara and pasta as our main dishes, with salad, chips and garlic bread to share. With drinks each as well we were pleasantly surprised with the total of the bill as well coming in at £91.00. I can highly recommend this restaurant, and being a restaurant owner myself, it was lovely to receive a great service as well as tasty, filling food as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely pop back in again. Thank you

Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. We were name to feel totally welcome as soon as we walked through the door. There was no pressure to order or leave once finished. Never disappoints! We have been here once a month for the last 6 months, and each time the food tastes absolutely amazing. Each time we come there are new specials so the food never gets boring either.

Have been here twice now. Amazing food both times, couldn’t recommend the pizzas more and the pasta is good too. Genuine Italian food and generous portion sizes. Really good value for money and lovely setting alongside the canal- seating outside for when the weather is nice. Will definitely be back!

I can't speak highly enough of Bellini. Our visit was absolutely wonderful. We were a mixed booking from 8 months to 80 plus and were accommodated like family. Nothing was too much bother from all the staff and it made for a lovely evening for all. The food was exceptional. Along with the standard classics there were some very nice specials available. Everyone's meal was devoured with praise and we bravely made it through 3 courses. The only downside is that we don't live closer.

Our son visited us half term week from up north. We have raved about Bellinis to him,so had to take them there. As usual a very warm welcome from Selvo and his team. The food is amazing! My son had the steak, as I had told him how tender and tasty it is, he loved it, best steak he has eaten he said. I had the duck in orange sauce, my husband had chicken, grandson had one of the homemade pizzas, and our daughter had homemade crab ravioli. The scallops in a lemon sauce as a starter were unbelievably good! Amazing chefs! Can’t wait to go again, thanks Bellinis.

Our favourite local restaurant. The food is spectacular and the staff are brilliant! They always look after us and our 2 boys. This was our first visit to Bellini's and we will definitely return. The setting is lovely, very welcoming. The menu is great, huge choice and when we received our food it was absolutely delicious. I had mentioned in my online booking it was my husbands birthday and they produced a dessert with a candle amd sang happy birthday which was a really special touch. ... given all the new regs etc Bellini is on top of the game; they efficiently offered me a booking for 6pm (rather than 7pm as requested) as they were full until after 8pm. The service was timely & efficient for our table of x4, but not rushed; we had drinks, two courses; and x1 dessert and a coffee. We all enjoyed our various tasty dishes - all off the specials board - obviously freshly cooked and plated - and the various staff were as friendly as you can be when wearing a mask! Yes, we might have lingered a bit longer if we didn't know there were others about to arrive, but given this was an "Eat out ..."day we thought they balanced demand - v- service extremely well. We will be back!

Visited this restaurant with my family, my parents have been before and wanted to take us. Despite it being quite busy (Tuesday during the Gov scheme), we were never rushed, and even though there were 9 of us, the food came in a timely manner and was superb, I wish I could eat more! It was a shame to people treat the staff and owner unfairly and even leave unfair reviews (this one table of 4 said staff were nice, they even got free food/bread but took service charge off and left no tip! Imagine saving £40 and leaving no tip!)Being a family business you can see they never want to turn anyone away, they are so popular normally according to my parents they didn't need to the Gov scheme but wanted to give everyone the opportunity to eat there. Only after a few visits they treated my parents like old friends and could see this relationship with other tables. Could not recommend this place more!

Having been to the restaurant several times with my wife and friends we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Bellini on Tuesday this week with all the family. We booked a table for 10 some time ago but knew it would be busy due to the new government scheme. What a great evening, we could not fault the food - if you go please try the calamari to start and the veal Milanese (maybe a plate of pasta in between), I'm getting hungry just thinking about it again. The staff were friendly and very attentive despite the restaurant being busy. We always find plenty of our friends eating there which is testament to its popularity - highly recommended.

Having never visited before I was extremely happy with the outcome of our meal. We were well looked after by excellent staff who took time to explain specials, even during a very busy service. The food had no faults - I highly recommend the veil in breadcrumbs. Cannot wait to return for another excellent meal!

Having been 10 months ago and we were not that impressed we decided to give them another chance and save £10 per head as well. We booked a week ahead and when we arrived it was obviously very busy and social distancing was minimal. Not all staff were wearing face coverings and those that were didn’t have the nose covered so it had little value. It took ages to order and the food took even longer to arrive. We were not the only people looking fed up with the wait. We had to ask for them to serve something and between courses we even had to ask for bread as it took so long. The staff were pleasant and very busy so I don’t blame them but the owner was just trying to make too much money by over filling the restaurant. One of the pasta mains was cold and served on a cold plate, with the salad plate being hotter! 3 hours for 2 course for 4 people is dreadful service and they tried to charge a service charge too!This is a great opportunity for restaurants to showcase themselves as people are slowly going back and trying place due to the £10/ person bung. This place failed in so many ways that we will not be going back ever again and we will not recommend to anyone unless they have 3-4 hours to spare and are not very hungry. 1 star is too high, should be 0

What can I say it was amazing. All protocols adhered to, food fantastic and service over and above. The first meal out since lockdown and it was amazing.

Such a fantastic neighborhood restaurant . Service excellent inside or out. Food always consistence brings many return dinners back for years. Nice sized portions. Do not miss the fish salad, and always a favorite an eggplant salad.

We went here for lunch, there were three of us. We managed to park outside where there is a small what I believe to be public car park and were lucky to get a space. The entrance to the restaurant is just off the car park.We had a nice welcome inside and were given a choice of a couple of tables, choosing one that had a view of the stream running outside beside the restaurant, which is a very nice viewService was very friendly and there is a good selection of the usual options one would expect to find in an Italian. We were then told about the specials and were surprised there were quite a few.I had a special for both my starter and my main. My starter was scallops in garlic and white wine, which was very good indeed. My main was halibut and with all the bits that came with it turned out to be a pretty substantial amount of food, and very nice with it.This is the first time any of us had been to this restaurant and I would certainly come here again.
