Perfect cafe. Very welcoming and professional staff. Great coffee and love the poached eggs. Very good value and beautifully cooked! I feel like I’m on holiday when I drink my coffee here as the ambiance is authentic and cheerful!

Panini’s not great, minimally filled, brown edged green salad, dry and bland ! No offer of sauce or even asked if there was anything else we needed.

Went as a family for dinner. Absolutely delicious dishes, so flavourful! We had seafood, pizza, pasta and steak and the kids finished off with some leftovers very tasty gelato.

Nice place friendly staff, menu needs updating! As a lot of other comments the breakfast is good apart from the vile sausages they use,cheap and nasty- why ?? And fried bread 🤢 but on the whole a nice experience just need to make a couple of tweaks

Stopped for a lunch, not been here since Covid. Recently understand this place has changed hands. It was always a lovely place to eat, very busy at times. Shows how popular it was. Obviously cannot comment if it has improved, not visited for so long. Very enjoyable pasta meals, good portions, nice ambience.

Every time we go, we are not disappointed. What I really love is that if I adjust the menu (dietary requirements), they are happy to do so. They automatically get our drinks ready, the service and food are great! I used the toilets for the first time and they are spotless. Very impressed. When we went today we was pleased to see that it was busy. They have worked hard to achieve this amazing review. They are also lucky to have fab staff.

Ordered a small breakfast. Asked for tomatoes got beans, ordered soughdough bread got ordinary bread and the sausage was cheap and tasteless. It was all very greasy so did not eat it all. Would not recommend the breakfast, have had far better elsewhere.

Popped in for a full English with a friend. Ordered the Bell’amico breakfast, which is essentially a full English with an extra sausage and a couple of hash browns. Food arrived quickly and was up to scratch. 7/10. Would definitely visit again and beats a Spoons breaky no problem. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu so can’t comment on anything else.

Really great food and the service is superb. We walk here once a month on a Saturday morning with the dog and sit outside for some breakfast and a coffee. They are super welcoming and nothings a problem and always bring water for the dog who also gets treated to some bacon and sausage too! We love it and that’s why we always come back and would highly recommend it, keep up the great work and we shall be back again very soon.

Came for lunch. Huge menu of delicious things (good portion sizes too), friendly staff, nice atmosphere.

We were cautious going in as 1 friend had previously had a curt reception on her last visit here by a male staff pwrson. .so we went in ready to walk but we didnt have to. Friendly staff gave us a choice of tables & our menu arrived promptly with a smile. All our food was great, Prosecco was a good one :-) we weren't rushed, everything was great. We will be back :-)

We have visited this cafe throughout lockdown for coffees and sweet treats and since re opening we have visited for breakfasts, lunches and brunches. Honestly the most lovely food, fantastic staff and a genuinely nice experience!

Went here the other day for breakfast with my girlfriend, got a full English and a panini with two drinks for £11 under the eat out to help out scheme. Great service too.

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life... Firstly I found a hair in my food, no biggie, these things happen, but, when I finally got the waitor who was also the manager's attention, he accused me of putting a hair in my food!!! Then when it came to paying, all my friends paid up and then it got to me, where I rightly refused to pay for my food, and the manager got very, infact extremely agressive, stepping up to me getting in my face (to point at which I wasn't sure if he was about to get physical), and raising his voice telling us never to come back, which I can happily say i wont be and strongly reccomend no one else does either.

This is a well deserved local success, we have used BA for coffee on a regular basis as a group and family for many years.Service is helpful and good with a friendly welcome always.Coffee, breakfast always good, personally I like the sausages. WB Round Table Walking group

Overall good enough breakfast but unfortunately the sausage was a let down. This is an important part of a full English and separates the greasy spoons from the better quality establishments. Also don’t think fried bread is required anymore.

Came with my folks for a late lunch on Saturday sat outside I chose wild mushroom spaghetti - not sure where the wild mushrooms were but the dish was quite nice . My folks had calamari Diablo and pasta amatriciana both deemed ok service is good although some waitresses struggled with English nice desserts obviously bought in

Love this place - I come to Bell’Amico on a weekly basis with family or on my own - they have great authentic coffee, quality and delicious food and great serviceDue to it being run by Italians, you get a great atmosphere and it feels as though you are in Italy, particularly when you can hear the waitresses and owners conversing in Italian! My favourite time to come is for early morning breakfast, best way to start the day.

The Bellamico has lovely welcoming staff, who are very friendly and attentive. The food is great, freshly prepared food. Its a perfect place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee stop off, in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. I recommend and I will return

Only recently moved into the area and found this place been back several times great food lovely pastas best full English breakfast I have had they must be doing something right they been going for over 23 years

Visited weekday with two children under five. Staff were very accommodating and great with the kids. Children's menu has enough selection and came quickly. We had to wait a little longer for our fresh pizza but it was cooked to order and delicious. Would recommend.

Came here for work, as a Nanny, I look after a 4 year old and 2 year old. The idea behind the Enchanted Tree is a fabulous one - keep the little people occupied while the big people are relaxing.

We used to be local, now stop in when we are passing. Great family Italian cafe, ideal for coffee cake panini or pasta.

I went there this morning for an early lunch with my mum and sister. I ordered eggs bennadict and had to send it back because they were not poached eggs, the second one I received had a lumpy hollandaise sauce with dry poached eggs with pieces of egg shell in it. I have been before and ordered the poor mans pasta and really enjoyed it however I believe the drinks are better than the food here. Would not recommend the eggs to anyone.

Was taken here by family- just popped in for a quick bite to eat. My companions both had sandwiches and they looked ok. I chose a Nicoise salad. It was honestly the worst salad I have ever been served. How could it have been so bad?! Cos lettuce - OK. About three tiny pieces of potato - OK. A few olives. Mushrooms?? The tuna was tuna mayonnaise- as you would serve in a sandwich. It was a slop. And atop the tuna was a fried egg. And that was runny and uncooked. No anchovies either, even though the menu said they would come with the salad. The croutons were tiny little things obviously out of a packet. Just wrong on so many levels. Avoid at all costs.

We go here often as family for early breakfast and cuppa. It’s okay food, good service and classic Italian atmosphere. Coffee and pastries are fresh... They did refurb in 2017 and it’s nicely done.

I have been to Bell' Amico today, and I had the best italian vegetarian sandwich ever!!! As italian, I can say that it made me fell at home! :)

Located close to the train station, its a delightful little local eatery.

I stopped at Bell'Amico for a coffee with a friends and I got the best cappuccino ever and the pastries were delicious. The atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. A real Italian place that made me feel home.

Visited The Enchanted Tree today which connects to Bell’amico. It was very well run. Because it connects to Bell’amico, you can order from their menu whilst the children are occupied. It’s clean and tidy with a lovely little play area for my 23 month old. The staff were lovely and helpful. Upon arriving, we were told to lock our buggy into the buggy shed outside, which I thought was a little strange, until it got busier. It was clear to see their wouldn’t have been room, so it was obviously well thought out. I also liked that there was an iPad station for older children, so if my 11 year ever comes along with us, he will be happy and occupied. A great first experience.

This is a nice family eatery, accommodates all ages, very family orientated, wide variety of Italian and other cuisine

I always rate a place by not only the food but by the service too. The food is great but perhaps a little bit arrogant. If a mistake is made don't make the customer think it's their fault when you made the mistake. The waiting time is not great and at busy times they could do with more waiting staff. If you can get the service as good as your food then we will come back but for now we will stick with Sweet Passion

Not the first time we've been here... popped in with my 3 year old just before the lunch rush for a coffee and a smoothie for him.

The bolognese is divine, but so are the other meals and the service is good too, friendly atmosphere and family friendly too.

Came here to see if they had any Italian patisserie, but very disappointed with the selection on display. However, we stayed for lunch and I had a very reasonably priced (£4.95) baked potato which hadn't been sitting in an oven for days, as is normally the case with most establishments. My husband had an extra side salad, but I have to say that even though it was only an extra £1, it was a bit stingy. Staff friendly, if a bit quick to try and take your order. To go back to the patisserie, if you want any Italian-style cakes for a special occasion, this is the place to order them from. We have had several now, and they are so reasonably priced in comparison to the usual sponge and lashings of butter icing concoctions elsewhere. They will also order in proper Sicilian cannoli (filled with ricotta, not the patethic butter icing filled mini versions they sell in the cafe) and such like, but I think they are missing a trick by not selling more decent Italian patisserie rather than the mass produced offerings on display.

We go regularly for lunch and the service andf quality is always good. The food is excellent with large portions and the coffee is the best I have tasted. Cannot understand previous reviews complaining about the service. They are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

I'm a regular at this Italian cafe. I'm always greeted in Italian and with a smile. The coffee is fantastic and the pastries take me back to my time in Italy.

We had booked a table for 7 of us friends for breakfast. The service throughout was surly and rude. At the end we were told we had underpaid by £5...we hadn't...we had paid in full AND left a good tip..against our better judgement. The guy who took payment was livid that 3 of us wanted to pay by card..he said we should have all paid together! We didn't get a thank you for the tip or a good bye. Will never visit again..

I wrote a review almost exactly 4 yrs ago. I havent been in since. The eggs were undercooked then but now rock hard. I looked at what was being served to others, and well over a dozen were also hard. The sausages were cheap and nasty. Service was abrupt and rude. The price was good but that's little reason to go back when there is so much choice in the area

I'm a regular. Great to eat breakfast in this bustling family run restaurant. A world away from the soulless franchise coffee shops.

We visit Bell'amico very regularly for lunch, as well as the occasional breakfast. They do the basics very well indeed. Service (which can sometimes be charmingly surly) is really quick and efficient, portions are generous, and pricing for some items at least is very reasonable. Certainly outstrips the coffee shop chains in terms of value for money, and of course the food from the varied and wide-ranging menu, is freshly prepared. You can be in and out as quickly as you like, even when it's heaving, as it usually is around lunchtime. I find it authentic rather than, dare I say, middle-class Surrey. Highly recommended.

I'm Italian and living far from home it can be difficult. Fortunately, I've found Bell'Amico,an amazing as well as typical Italian Bar!!and also the staff has always welcomed me with a smiling face!! Very good and not expensive!!!

This busy establishment offers a very extensive breakfast selection which suits all tastes. It is not in any sense a 'cheap eat' but the service is friendly, efficient and the staff are very welcoming. Established in 1996, they are obviously doing something right!I enjoyed a very hearty full breakfast here which left me feeling very satisfied. There are certainly cheaper places to eat locally, but Bell'Amico provides you with a dining experience that is a little bit special.

Established in West Byfleet for some years, it remains the best coffee shop / Cafe in the area. The service is prompt and the coffee is great quality - and you don't have to struggle back to your table with a tray - it is table service.Breakfast is great value and the portions ample and hence attracts a regular male clientele being set up for the day! Always go here for breakfast when I am in the area. It s a great family run Italian cafe, serving breakfast and lunch through to about at 5pm. Always very clean and it is great value. There is also seating outside.Try the full English Breakfast.

You'd think this is just a cafe, but the food is actually quite nice and it comes in decent portions. Always worth asking about the dish of the day, usually fresh food. Not bad at all, I'd chose it any time over Costa or any pub for a full English...

Fab cafe. The menu is really extensive and the food and drinks are so reasonably priced, you would struggle to spend more than £10 per head on a gut-busting meal and a drink. It would be incredible value even if the portions weren't so ridiculously massive (come hungry)! Simple decor, efficient service and tasty, satisfying food at good prices. Don't expect cordon bleu dining of course, but it is outstanding for what it is. And it's independently run, which is even better!

I stumbled on this cafe about a year ago while looking for a Costa - apologies.It is tucked away in a parade of shops on the way to the station. You kinda get the message it is cafe / coffee place when you see the outside seating under the building canopy. First impression once inside is of a modern version of a traditional Italian cafe / diner. It is clean, tidy if not a little compact. The place has that welcoming atmosphere to it and the staff say hello and get you seated without fuss.First time it was coffee and pastries, all very nice.Breakfast visits are a weekend treat and you will find it pretty busy, always a good sign.Had a couple of light lunches along the way. Omelettes are especially good but take a lot of eating - portions are generous.Can happily say I have never had a bad experience, food lovely, service good and friendly staff.There is a takeaway service, I have only used it once and while the food was great you miss out on the that traditional service that makes the place what it is.

I've been going here since it opened in the 90s and even though I've now moved away from the area I try to go with friends when I'm back visiting. The service is always brilliant and the drinks and food never disappoint. I wish there was one Iike it near when I now live!

I visit here most days as part of my "working from home" routine and am warmly welcomed by Nella and the team despite sometimes only having a couple of cappuccinos.The quality of the freshly made pastries and lunches is excellent (although if you go for the pasta make sure you have a good appetite as you get a very generous portion).Bell Amico is like the heart of the village having been open for 20 years and is buzzing with locals and visitors most days. Friendly and fast service is maintained at all times.

I visit here regularly at lunch with friends from work and the staff are extremely friendly and there is always a quick service in here. Food is very reasonably priced and tastes great, they even do cooked breakfasts if you are interested. They also do an amazing Italian iced coffee, if you like sweet drinks!

Go here if you enjoy your coffee like the Italians make. I haven't tried their food but love their smooth rich cappuccinos. As per past reviews there is a staff member who has what you might call -err- a certain Italian charm!! I suggest just ignore and not be too offended! He is who he is and doubtful could change for anybody!The food always looks very nice and they do selections of little Italian pastries and other cakes. Has little tables outside which is lovely when the sun's out.

If you are in the centre of West Byfleet this is a wonderful place for a coffee or a snack.Italian coffee shop with substantial all day full English breakfast, along with lots of other tasty temptations like cakes and sandwiches.Staff are very friendly. The full English is excellent and good value for money. The coffee is excellent and far better than other coffee shops in West Byfleet. The atmosphere has much improved over the years and is now quite peaceful (at the times I go in).

We simply love this place. The family run business is friendly, nothing is ever an issue and the place is always busy which is a good sign. Coffees and food are made and presented with a passion. Tables are always cleared immediately. And it's not expensive too. Would recommend to everybody.

We live locally and drop into Bell`Amicos regularly for breakfast - usually the full English - or lunch, usually a pasta dish (Bolognese a favourite as is the salmon pasta, or poor man's spaghetti, or indeed any of the panini!). My son has migrated from the pizza to the chicken Milanese. The service is always quick and attentive. It's family run, Antonella is super efficient and very friendly. The chief waiter can appear a bit grumpy, but that amuses us and adds to the place's charm. The only thing that I would suggest is to change the little mushrosms (porcini?) and Olives, which appear on every side salad, with something more tasty. Great value for money too.

Cooked breakfast is good BUT. Very poor continental breakfast a cold piece of toast and cold croissant with bog standard jam for same price as a cooked breakfast I will not be going back!

I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, average until I bit into a baby potato, had to immediately spit it out, it was seriously rancid, possibly cooked several days prior. My daughter bit into one on an accompanying salad dish and did likewise too. Mentioned to staff politely, later when we paid our bill, we'd been charged for full amount. Suffice to say we paid, but left no tip.

I can never understand the poor reviews for this establishment. I meet up with a group of friends on a regular basis, we often stay outside as it gets quite noisy inside, especially with all the mums and children. The other day we happened to mention to Antonella the need for heaters outside during the colder days. This was meant as a joke, however when we arrived a couple of days ago there were blankets on the chairs. How is this for listening to your customers, top marks!!

I've been coming to this restaurant/ coffee shop for a good 4/5 years with my mum who up until last September went every morning and every lunch time the only time she didn't go was when they shut for 2 weeks holiday a year. This place is so warm and friendly they really look after their regulars and always welcome new people. Their food is always beautiful and tastes amazing. I'm going back today for lunch with my mum and her friend and can't wait. My mum even though she's retired now she still visits at least once a week and has introduced her friends and all my unties to this lovely place don't miss out on a warm, friendly and traditional experience.

Food my wife and I ordered had a complete lack of flavour apart from a stale garlic taste. Before ordering I had asked about the mushrooms in the dish and was told they were porcini. They weren't and we're just standard 'value' mushrooms. Rest of family seemed content with their food. Avoid this dull place. It was so dull I couldn't be bothered to take issue with the staff about the obvious lie I had been told.

The coffee is good and has never failed no two ways about it! As for the food and the attitude of manager definitely there's much left to be desired I'm afraid!

Had a pre food shop lunch. The wife and I both had omelette and chips. Both of us enjoyed the meal. Nothing special but we both enjoyed it. We have had breakfast here before and they are great. I will eat here again

Went here for lunch today based upon the reviews I had read on Tripadvisor and have to agree, this place is superb.Had the lunch special of any main course of our choice, glass of wine and dessert all for £10.95, I have to say it was even better than I expected, even allowing for three espresso coffees the total bill was £25.40 for the two of us.I consider this place to be a bargain for good quality food and efficient service and will certainly become a regular customer, thoroughly deserves it rave reviews.

If you are passing by our living in this area, you must stop in this amazing Sicilian restaurant. The food is awesome, the people writing there are all friendly, it seems to stay out of UK. I advice you to go there for breakfast or lunch, you'll be so full to not easily stand up after eating.

Went into Bell 'Amico for breakfast. Chose same, which included avocado. When it arrived, the avocado was so under-ripe that a carving knife would have been needed to cut it. When the waiter was called over and asked to replace it with a ripe one, he shrugged his shoulders and said "that's how they come in". As it was, it was totally inedible. I wrote a letter to the manager over a week ago, and he hasn't even had the courtesy to reply - I seems that the place should be avoided at all costs!

the manager is SO rude and you can just see the £££ in his eyes when he sees customers... we came for lunch with a group and when we paid I noticed that he overcharged us for an extra meal, which was £12.00. I told him and instead of apologizing he was so annoyed and told me "NO, I did not charge you extra".... I asked him to look on the receipt, he looked and he noticed that he was wrong. still no apology!! very annoyed he got the money and gave it to me without even thanking us for coming and without a goodbye........ *shocked!*I will never come here again, food is very tasteless.. I believe the pizzas are from frozen... it was SO HARD, could barely bite it...disgusting. shame to call themselves an Italian restaurant.one plus, there is a waitress that works there.. long hair in a ponytail, always very friendly and smiling. THE MANAGER NEEDS TO LEARN FROM HER!

I will not be returning as I have never been spoken to so rudely. It would have been nice to have received an apology and an offer to make amends.
