Bella Mia cafe in Bradford

What an amazing Italian café, so glad we came across it

Didnt even get inside. My partner works around the corner so parked outside the cafe and set off to go and meet my partner and was immediately met with hostility from the owner who believes he owns the road and no one can park there. Instead of arguing we just left and will not be going back to a place that treats customers and potential customers with no respect

Found this place by chance and me and the wife love it food is 100% service is 100% love it

This is a hidden gem of a place. My friend and I had lunch today. The service and food was amazing. We both had garlic bread and lasagna followed by lovely coffee. We will definitely eat here again. Plenty of seating, this place would be ideal for birthdays, work lunch’s and other celebrations. The only thing I would point out, ring or pop by before you turn up for your meal. Covid hit the restaurant hard, therefore, the opening times have changed.

Very rude, didn’t let us order, didn’t give a reason and just the body language and lack of respect was rude

Following lockdown restrictions being lifted we were able to return, the very same warm welcome and scrummy foods you'd be silly not to pay this superb little restaurant a visit.

Italian ex-pats from miles around go here for Sal and Mimo's real Italian coffee, pizza, pastas and drinks. Tutto è perfettamente autentico, in stile Casertano. They do all day English breakfast as well. Cash only.

We had a lovely Full English Breakfast each this morning and it was fantastic. Lovely helpful owner/chef with a nice Italian feel inside. We'll definately be going back. Child friendly too 😊

I've lived locally for over 7 years and had never quite got round to visiting until this week. The cafe is hidden away on a side street and looks unpromising from the outside. Despite several friends telling me how good the food was, i had always passed by thinking that I should give it a try at some point. I now wish I'd given it a go much sooner! The interior is basic (think small non tourist cafe in Italy), but the cafe is run by an Italian family and the food is both authentic and extremely tasty. Pasta dishes and the excellent pizzas are all worth trying. Highly recommended for a great lunch and excellent value.

Have seen this tucked away cafe on our travels along the road to Saltaire whenever we visit...and finally paid them a visit. Was well impressed with just how Italian this place is, there are a lot of restaurants in the Bradford area claiming to be Turkish or Palestinian or Iranian but they're Pakistani run so it is welcome to have the GENUINE article. Italian TV, a pool table, music ...but most jmportantly- genuine Italian food. You can have all day breakfast ( they open 9-9) which is great to know and a variety of scrummy foods, specials, pizzas, meatballs, REALLY tasty. We will defiantly be back to this cafe next time we're in town. Ciao.

My wife came here with a friend recently and said I have to give it a try. It’s a friendly family run Bistro/Cafe. Very good coffee and superb value for food. They do an all day English Breakfast that’s looks amazing, I’ll be giving it a try in the near future. Two brothers run this place and they are most likeable men you will ever meet. I had a panini which was made to order as is everything. You don’t mind waiting when you know everything’s freshly prepared. Treat yourself and try it out.

The place is just perfect, its old, cold and cosy! The food is delicious, Salvo definately has brought a piece of italy to yorkshire with this cafe, the caffe is amazing and its only a £1!!! The pizza is just like biting into napoli with authentic yet simple italian flavours.

Marvelous pizza for 6-7 quid. Cracking coffee and a very genuine Italian vibe. Both my 10 year old son and I enjoyed it lots.

Just discovered this place off the main shops. Had Mocha and chat with manager first time, then took a friend and we had salad and Italian pasta . Both times were a good eating experience. Manager really makes you welcome . Food very tasty and reasonable priced. Cafe set out nice.

If you are looking for a swanky restaurant don’t go here. If you are looking for a warm welcome and some of the nicest home cooked Italian food you’ll ever have, get yourself down here immediately! The decor is tired, the location a bit awkward, and the heating was off when we got there, but the food was out of this world! My mrs had pasta and I had pizza, and it was like being in a little Italian village cafe. The flavours were beautiful with obviously good ingredients having been used. I’d meant to go here for years, now I have done I wish I’d done it sooner!

Popped in for a cuppa and bacon butty the other lunchtime whilst in Saltaire. . Lovely steaming mug of tea and a bacon sandwich crammed full. Very tasty and quick friendly service. Will be calling in again very soon.

A real joy on the edge of Saltaire with an authentic Italian feel. We were made to feel very welcome and served hot tasty food and great coffee. I will definitely be choosing this venue again When visiting saltaire with friends and family.

It's a cafe full of Italian men having a wonderful time drinking their espressos, reading their newspapers and chitchatting. The pizza crust is absolutely the best we've had in England and the Margherita is the one we order again and again. It's great just stopping in and having a cappuccino. They do take aways but they always close at 4:30pm.

Además, las pastas son recién preparado y increíble. El .. Salvo es el mejor anfitrión y te hace sentir como si fueras parte de una familia italiana mientras que el italiano entregados local visitas el lugar regularmente ... sin duda es de visita obligada y probar la comida increíble. Café italiano administrado con excelentes especialidades de café espresso con comida, pasta y pizza italiana. El lugar es uno de los favoritos para pasar el rato la comunidad italiana y es agradable para escuchar sus voces. La cafetería favoritos también pueden tener unas aceitunas y un poco de ensalada con su fritos.

The best coffee in Bradford district and Leeds. And we pay only 1pound. Really Italian restaurant!! It's the place I go to drink a real expresso.

Finally somewhere local that makes amazing, authentic pizza, the cafe is also fully licensed so you are able to enjoy a cold Peroni whilst eating your stone baked pizza. Genuine Italian cuisine at a great price... Excellent!
