Service was good but very hard to get the waiter /waitresses attention. Food was way too sweet felt like I was eating sugar . Even the pasta was sweet what did u do just put sugar no seasoning nothing .This isn’t Italian food.

If you'd like to reminisce about a time in the '80s when findus crispy pancakes were a regular treat, try the nacho substitute starter. Just like the crispy pancake, it tasted like it had been made weeks ago before being lovingly microwaved to perfection. Worried about consuming too much processed meat? Fear not ... the double pepperoni won't disappoint with its less than generous toppings. Perhaps you're sick and tired of all these Italian restaurants who insist on making fresh dough? Come to Bella Italia and enjoy the taste of shop bought pizza, in a restaurant! With friendly staff and a full serving of ultra processed food, I look forward to hearing what my digestive system has to say about my trip today to Bella Italia.

Literally walked straight out, we have just been in there and it smelt unclean which was shocking due to it hadn’t been open long and there was only one other person in there. We got put in a booth where the seats were full of crumbs and dirt which was obvious from the night before. I looked to the booth to the left at it was the same thing. I asked to be moved and when I was walking to a new table I realised that none of the tables had been cleaned from the night before. Covered in salt and food and drinks. The restaurant hadn’t been open that long so it was obvious it was all from the night before. If they can’t be bothered to clean their tables then imagine the state of the kitchen? The tables should have been cleaned the night before or atleast the morning of. I’m heavily pregnant also so having to leave to go find somewhere else that’s sanitary was really disappointing. I think the manager needs to really consider on who they are having work there and who’s being left in charge. As basic hygiene isn’t being done in that place and that’s highly disgusting and extremely damaging to the Bella italia brand.

Food was absolutely delicious! The bolognaise and the Kyiv special was beautiful! The bread of the oozy garlic butter bread was extremely soft and tasty (definitely add cheese to it!) and I’ve always like the rosemary fries with cheese 👌🏻 It is a little expensive for “fast food” but honestly was totally worth it 10/10 will order again

Our visit was at 2.30 pm on Wednesday 6th March. Unsurprisingly, the restaurant was very quiet which is why I gave only three stars for Atmosphere. We were politely greeted and invited to sit at a table. Everywhere looked clean and tidy. The service and food were excellent and represented good value for money. I hope that this restaurant is busier at other times as it would be a terrible shame if it were to close.

Came in the day before valentines was greeted at the door with a smile and took to my table a waiter (Nathan) came over and took our drinks order first and brought them over very quick asked us for mains and even gave recommendations for us the food was great I had the buffalo pomodoro and definitely recommend for others Will be back with family soon great service from all staff and food was amazing

The Manager was fantastic and did everything to make the service good. The seats and benches were very dirty and the tables not much cleaner. Cheese that was grated on your dish was handled by every waiter/waitress with bare hands. No one washed their hands before handling this same piece of cheese, which was placed next to the till each time.

I had a lovely pizza for dinner. Friendly helpfull staff. Good choice from from the menu for food and drinks and the prices are OK. Nice location too

It was just ok, definitely overpriced for the standard of food. We had a voucher for Christmas so we used it here. If I had to pay the entire bill myself I would have been more disappointed in the food quality. The food isn't anything special at all. The staff were really good and friendly.

This is my local Restaurant in Walsall and I depend on this Restaurant for my lunch and dinner - The Manager , also manageress also all the staff I’ve found so helpful which shows me that the manager is doing a great job and setting a good example - I find them organized and very understanding to my needs and requirements - I order lentil vegan spaghetti’s and vegan pasta reasonably frequently and the Chef / staff make the food perfect and very tasty . Thank you kindly . 10/10

Is this Italy? No, get on a Ryanair flight you cheap a$$, this is Walsall. Keep your expectations there and this is a 5 star On the Dave Portnoy scale this is a solid 7. On the UK scoring this is an 8+. Eden was incredible with a 15 person party and crushed it. Her service put this over a 4’star.

Friendly prompt service. Menu had a range that covered the dietary requirements of the party. We enjoyed the meal and hope to return again in the future.

Portions were very small, ended up going for a maccies straight after. Service was slow, 6 adults and 3 children £250, won’t be going back

Not a big Bella fan but they saved the (birth) day after a disastrous booking at TGIs. It wasn’t busy and we were seated quickly. The 2 young men who seated/served us were great and very friendly and professional. The restaurant was bright, clean and inviting. Our food came quickly. It was tasty with no issues. Offers on too. Gripe that extras such as chips are more expensive than they need to be and in a cost of living crisis with people unable to afford luxuries like eating out then perhaps the price of frozen chips can be reduced.

Had the sea food risotto and it was the size of a child's portion. Was so hungry when I got home I made myself a sandwich!

The food and service are really great at Bella Italia, and we’ll certainly come again. Customers need to be aware that it’s not possible to have lunch here before attending an afternoon screening at The Light nearby. The signage is confusing, and careful scrutiny indicates that 4 hours is the maximum. So beware! But don’t let that put you off patronising this restaurant, which we would highly recommend.

We visited Bella Italia in Walsall on a Sunday evening after a long 5 hour drive back home We didn't prebook a table, however the restaurant was very quiet and we were seated immediately For our starters, we ordered the cheesy garlic dough balls and cheese-filled gnocchi bites. I'm not normally a fan of gnocchi, however these were really tasty and I wanted more! For our mains, we ordered the lasagne and a marguerita pizza. Both dishes were flavourful and filling. I do wish however that the lasagne came with some form of a side, such as garlic bread I enjoyed our visit to Bella Italia and would visit again in the future

So where do I start???? The temperature was freezing as we were sat by the door so we asked to move. That seat wasn't much better as it was under the freezing cold aircon!!! We asked to have it switched off....nope!! We waited 35 mins for starters. We then had our mains at 750pm. We were there at 645pm. We had to ask for the mai twice. When one of the meals came it was stone cold!! It was a carbonarra without any sauce and drier than a slab of weetabix!!!! We asked for another one and that was slightly better but we had no choice but to eat as we had the escape room booked at 830pm!! The waiter did his best and bless him he seemed nervous when we complained!! Not once did any of the management team come and apologise. We were offered desserts but as I mentioned, we had to go. This was supposed to be a lovely birthday meal but the food tarnished it a little (to make it worse it was the birthday girl that ordered the stone cold dry carbonarra). There were no more than 8-9 tables (including us) so I can't see why a member of the management couldn't come and apologise?? 10% off the bill is disgusting if I'm honest. Had we had desserts it would have been more than 10%!!! We haven't been in 5 years since my wife had a beef lasagna served instead of chicken!!! You might not be bothered Bella Italia but we are as we paid over £100 for cold food!!!

Service was abrupt, despite the restaurant being quiet. We felt rushed when: plates were taken away when we were still eating fries, our conversation was interrupted to ask 2 minutes after finishing mains if we wanted to order desserts, then pretty much immediately being brought the bill & card reader once we declined. When we explained about paying with an online voucher, we waited ages for the waitress to return to finally process the payment but she didn’t, so we had to get the attention of someone else. Food was nice but prices have gone up. We were going to order from the 2-course set menu but the gnocchi starter + pomodoro main actually worked out cheaper to order both from the main menu instead, so how is the set menu value for money?! Risotto too small a portion for the £14 price. 3 new pasta-inspired pizzas but none of them vegetarian, which isolates and excludes a large proportion of customers. Limited and basic choice of vegetarian pastas - only pomodoro and macaroni cheese. Pasta dish with courgette and pesto no longer marked as vegetarian, when it used to be, plus the vegetarian mushroom-sauce pasta dish no longer on the menu. Also, floor under the table was sticky. Would return as the food was good, but service needs improving.

We came here for an early lunch me and my sister. The member of staff was lovely and so accommodating. The food was delicious and at such a good price because of it being on the lunch time menu.

Seated quickly, ordered food quick and didn't wait to long even though it was busy. Food was fantastic with lots of choice. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. A special mention to our server, Luke. He helped guide us on picking the right meal for us. A very honest young man who will go far.

Dined here with a large group. Had to pre-order our food (fair enough) and this arrived like lightening as soon as we had sat down, before the drinks came. Mains also came very swiftly. The food was fine, it’s nothing to shout about and Bella would never be my choice of places to eat, simply because the price you pay for mass produced pasta/pizza is just a rip off. The staff were really lovely and our waitress very attentive. The restaurant itself was nice and modern. The evening was spoilt from the feeling of being rushed. You need to pay to park on the wharf. Hopefully no one asks us to eat here again.

Visited tonight, food was good (had the set menu, good value) and have to say the service is fabulous. Yes, it is a chain restaurant, however that means the quality is reliable and there is good choice. Loved it!!

Lovely visit to the Walsall branch this weekend. The service from our waitress Amy was phenomenal. Not very often you find this level of service in a chain restaurant. Nice decor. Good menu. Other waitresses that interacted seemed jolly too. Really impressed. Didn’t feel rushed in fact she took the time to ask us about our day. We nearlly ran out of parking we were enjoying chatting to her so long. Worth a visit.

Date night.l but definitely a restaurant I could take the kids too. Staff friendly and welcoming. Not so many menu choices but same as most places these days. Told there’s a new menu coming soon. Might be worth a revisit. Very quiet so you can just walk in too.

A wondeful atmosphere! Nothing short of a great meal and fantastic service. I'd like to give a special shout out the the manager on shift (didn't catch his name) who was extremely attentive to my sister who is a diagnosed coeliac. What a helpful young gentleman you have employed! I would highly recommend. A trusted gluten free meal. Thank you for the exceptionally enjoyable evening!
