Beijing Supreme in Peterborough

Had a few meals since moving to Hampton. I find the meals to be of a good quality, delivered on time and they have always arrived hot, and delivered by courteous members of staff. Looking forward to more meals as and when the need, or occasion arises.

Disappointed tonight with our takeaway husbands 77th birthday meal and it was not up to its usual standard. Cantonese chicken in sweet and sour sauce was soggy kung po prawns also soggy, chow mean tasted burnt and beef in black bean sauce was tough. What a disappointment in celebrating my husbands birthday

We were customers for a very long time because we liked it, I moved and I wanted to order online, the system did not find my post code because it is a new building, so I decided to call and place an order. The woman was very rude, I gave her the post code many times, and she kept telling me "darling" that it was a different address and it didn't exist. When I explained once again that my house existed and the driver would definitely find it, she insisted that he definitely wouldn't because there was no such post code or street!! that it's Hargate Way and she knows better because google shows her!! When it finally came time to place the order and pay, I had to go get the card, she said she didn't have time. You may cook well, but customer service also matters.

Ordered various dishes as a takeaway. Collected the food and foolishly never checked what the bag had in it only to find 1 of my ordered dishes missing. As I had travelled to collect, then back home again, I wasn't going out again. If I had telephoned, my word against theirs. CHECK BEFORE LEAVING. Nonetheless the food we did receive was tasty, on par with other similar establishments. Plenty of parking close by when collecting and food was ready by the time specified.

Regular customers have ordered deliveries for a while from here It is not as good as it used to be Ordered a delivery tonight at just before 7pm finally got our order at 9.15 I phoned after waiting nearly 2 hours to be told the driver was having difficulties as road diversions no offer of some money off just sorry and bye! The food arrived like warm Won’t be ordering again Ate it because we were hungry and hadn’t been food shopping - out of necessity-not a sparkling recommendation to eat the food- disappointed

Ordered collection online. Food was ready on time (Friday night, so they were busy!). All the food was really tasty, but the pork in the Char Sui in Black Bean sauce was really tasty. Big chunky slices of good quality meat. We’ll definitely be back.

The absolute best Chinese takeaway I've been to in years, the food is fantastic!!

Not enough meat or prawns in dishes just lots of sauce and onions, and charge you good money

It’s a pity I had to give one star ! Minus one would have been more appropriate .. Ordered a meal for delivery . Placed the order at 5:15pm after a 5 minute phone call awaiting for the telephonist to decide on a delivery slot for us . Was eventually told it would be an hour . Rang at 6:30pm to ask where our order was and was told it would be a couple of minutes . Food arrived at 7pm stone cold !!! Rang to complain and was given a refund over the phone and told driver would come and collect the food. Absolutely shocking service ! This was our first meal from Beijing Supreme and will be our last

Friday. 17/03/2023 we order some food at Beijing supreme the food not tasting the same we rang and said the food was not properly and after two days we had food poisoning my little daughter suffer the most and will never order from Beijing supreme again

Was our go to Chinese .. tonight I ordered family meal and went to shop next door and it was ready by time I returned (8 mins later) Whole family agreed it tasted pre prepared and reheated .. I threw mine away. Last time we use them

Great food every time. Quality and portion sizes are on point.

I have ordered for here a few times and has always been really good. But this time...wow...what a complete shambles...actually that doesn't even come close!! The driver delivered half our order, we only realised after taking it in. So I let them know...20 minutes roll by, I called again. They couldn't get in contact with the driver so I said I would like my whole order freshly cooked and delivered all together, as nothing is hot. Which they agreed, 45 minutes after the first order arrived the new freshly cooked second half of the order arrived...even though we were ment to recieve a whole new order. My husband called again and they said straight away "would like to cancel??" So we did, my husband collected our refund and at 7pm went elsewhere...thank you for messing up our family meal and evening on our anniversary, we will not be using your services again.

If I could give zero stars I would as 1 star is to good for them.

Best Chinese takeaway in pboro!

Good food. Good prices, and also home delivery service.

My husband ordered the food for over £50 and asked for one spare empty box. The lady was extremaly rude, saying IT COSTS MONEY. my husband was okay to pay extra for it, she very unhappy threw a box in the bag. He was scared to ask for the forks haha

Very disappointed with all the dishes ordered. Fried rice and noodles were very dry, taufoo is not a proper fresh one, chicken wings and King prawns were over deep fried with heavy batter. Beef in black bean sauce ( not enough sauce) too much onions in all dishes. I am sorry but need to be said.

Disgusting and a rip off. Whoever rates this food 5 stars clearly has no idea about Chinese food, a bit like the chef here. Never again

Food is always amazing here would never go to another Chinese now I have tried many and this is by far the best the only flaw is its abit more expensive than the outhers

Surprised that the council hygiene rating of this place is only a 4. However, the food was great and when we collected you could see they guys cooking it. Another nice touch was some of the food coming in little cardboard boxes instead of plastic containers

Well I'm really sorry to be writing this but this place is dreadful. The ribs were dry tasteless and so chewy. Had chicken chow mein too. Also dry and flavourless. Chicken not even cooked with the Noddles as placed nicely on top chow mein. Hahaha also veg spring rolls. I will never be going there again and I'd recommend that you don't either. Sorry but it's really not for me or my taste buds.

Nearly always excellent. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked and delivered hot enough to eat. Large portions too.

Food was spot on as normal. But their covid measures are a pain. Clearly (amd rightfully) you can't wait inside for your food. So you queue outside. But nobody ever calls out the food is ready. So you queue to place your order and then queue to check if your order is ready... you get soaked waiting outside not knowing if the food is ready or not. If they overcome that issue and have someone calling out names they get an extra star they deserve. Thankfully have now started an online order portal so at least you now only have the confusion if your food is ready or not....

Living in Hampton Vale, my wife and I usually select StarWok for our Chinese orders, however, as it's a Tuesday and they were not open, we thought we'd give Beijing Supreme a try. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. It all started well with the phone being answered quickly and my order being taken efficiently. I was told delivery would be about 30 minutes, however, it actually arrived 50 minutes after the call... this wasn't necessarily an issue though, as I guess they are busier on a Tuesday with the competition closed. The real issue started after the delivery driver had left and we were unpacking the food. We noticed that the mini spring rolls we ordered (and paid for) were not included. I called the shop and was told that they would give me discount on my next order! I said I either wanted the item refunded or someone to get the rolls to us quickly. The lady I was speaking to said she had to ask her manager if they could do either of those... which I found incredulous to be honest! After being on hold for a short time, the lady returned and told me that someone would drop the mini spring rolls round. In fairness, a guy did make a special journey as they were delivered about 10 minutes after my call, however, when we opened the box we noticed that they were burnt on the outside, not completely chargrilled, but black on the corners. In addition, no sweet and sour sauce was delivered with them... not sure if it was meant to be included, but it's something that StarWok always provide. On that subject, StarWok also give free Prawn Crackers on orders over £15, but Beijing Supreme do not seem to do that either. As for the food itself, it was quite nice. We did note that the Special Chow Mein only had one prawn in it, which was disappointing, and the beef didn't look as if it had been cooked (although it tasted okay). Aside from the aforementioned issues, the rest of our order was pretty nice, it's just a shame that there were some niggles and that the customer service was quite poor. Personally, I'm really surprised this Chinese is rated higher than StarWok given they are in relatively close proximity of each other... perhaps my experience tonight was just bad luck, however, I won't be testing that with a second chance!

Regular customer, wow amazing, today delivery took 15mins from taking an order, they already know your address after you place first order, ordered buterfly prawns, smoked shredded chicken, beef and chicken curry, everything was just perfect very fresh as it took 15 min to deliver! 5 stars service and food

By far the best thai take away I've ever had you cant beat watching your food being made right in front of you, very clean and pleasant staff I cant rate this place any higher 5☆ just isn't enough

This place used to be excellent but had sadly gone downhill. As it’s quite a drive we had not visited for several months but ordered a large meal for 5 tonight. I am sad to say it had really gone down hill and is now well below average. No longer worth driving any distance or paying a premium price for. Food bland and tasteless - a shadow of its former self.

Ordered phone on phone was not told there was a delivery charge and still looking for my meet will not use them again had to keep repeating myself when placing order

I have used this Chinese take away for most of not all the 8 years I have lived in Hampton. The staff here always been friendly and managed to meet my incredibly fussy taste. My wife has far more varied taste and has never disliked a single dish. Really lovely and accommodating staff, wonderfully tasty food, fair pricing what more could you want? Don't hesitate, just go.

The Thai Fried Rice was rather sweet when I specifically requested for it to be spicy. Perhaps, they have not experienced decent Thai food. I don't quite understand why Beijing Supreme can't provide cutlery when they are running a take away service. They provided me a fork and did not have spoons..........strange.

Slightly more expensive than the average Chinese take-away food you'd expect to pay for but then you are getting the best in town.

A little more expensive than some take aways but worth it. Great quality and choice.

We order from here regularly as the food is very very good and defiantly the best we've tried in the surrounding area and it deffinatly beats the Yaxley chineses and is much fresher and less greesy then the Star Wok in Hampton Vale. Highly recommend it. The only down fall is my daughter and I love Prawn Balls and they don't sell them. Please add them to menu guys.
