Service was shocking 3 hours for a starter and stake half hour wait to get a drink won’t be going back shame as used this restaurant many times and seen it deteriorate over the last few years

The outside of this restaurant made me feel that I dident want to eat here. Hundreds of cigarette butt's and lots of weeds were right outside the entrance. Really off-putting.Also a large poster advertising Fathers Day was still on full display outside.(June?) Inside the staff who were very busy gave us really good service and all our meals were excellent. PLEASE can you help yourselves and get the outside cleaned up. It is not helping the reputation of the restaurant

Awful, tried to get a table for 3 at 7pm to be told there wasn't any dispite there being at least 15 tables empty,which after going down the road to witherspoons were still empty an hour later

Lovely breakfast all lovely and hot despite them being very busy. Special mention to Gareth our server. We are regulars.

Popped in for lunch on this sunny Saturday before going to the cinema. Was seated by Dale in a comfortable booth in the nicely air conditioned restaurant. We both ordered the chicken cobb salad, one with French dressing the other with the delicious honey & mustard dressing. Both salads were prepared by Rhys & didn’t take long at all. A thoroughly pleasant dining experience.

sticky tables dirty & broken chairs slow service uninspired & boring food empty restaurant much worse than our last visit a few years back. You wonder why HQ hasn't closed it down yet, I assume its only still operational due to the Premier Inn above. airshow in a few weeks, you'd hope they use it as a spring board but I suspect they will use it as a cash cow & close it after. Won't be rushing back. Spoons would likely produce a better meal.

This is the first review I have ever given where I didn't actually stay, order and eat... I arrived for lunch with my friend and her daughter. We stood at the front where there's a sign that said, "wait to be seated" and we waited and waited and waited and we waited. There was one server, who completely ignored us (she knew we were there as she looked at us a couple of times). First, she walked past us and went to the bar, did something, went back to a table then continued to ignore us and went to another table then to a cash register that was opposite where we were standing and still did not acknowledge us. Eventually, after 10 minutes we left (we only waited that long because my friend wanted to use the toilet). To add context, there were 3 tables occupied otherwise the restaurant and bar area were completely empty. Now I understand she appeared to be on her own and had guests already there, but she could at the very least say, "I'll be with you shortly" but no, she just ignored us. This was shockingly bad.

I took my wife out for a birthday meal and the staff were excellent especially the head chef Nadine who catered for all our needs and the food was outstanding.you should be proud to have a chef that can cook exceptional.all the other staff were great made to feel welcomed and catered to all our needs.would definitely rate everything 100 percent.would come back without a doubt and absolutely recommend the place to all friends and family.thank you for the service.

Had a lovely Chicken Cobb Salad today served by the friendly & attentive Anna. Delicious & just what I needed after a long day at work. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere & service was quick.

Had a lovely experience here again was served by Lesley and katie they both were very attentive and food was amazing had the festive menu. Will definitely be coming back again.

The worst meal I’ve ever eaten! Had the sirloin steak with triple cooked cooked chips and rocket, I asked for no mushrooms. The steak was chewy and nasty, the 12 triple cooked chips were cold and soggy, the rocket was so shrivelled it was completely inedible, half a piece of tomato and there was a hole on the plate where the mushrooms should have been. Literally half a plate of inedible food for £20. Complete rip off!! I never complain but I did on the beefeater website and they couldn’t be bothered to reply. This restaurant is empty for a reason, avoid it like everyone else.

Booked a family meal out, why wouldn't you when they email you a free birthday meal. Except without warning they cancel your booking, no apology or explanation.

Today I ordered the grilled salmon which was prepared by Nadine. It was ready in a short amount of time & the salmon was melt in the mouth perfect. I would highly recommend & will be back again soon to sample more delights.

They may have veggie food on the menu but all they seem to have for a main meal is a Cob salad. Four times recently this has happend. I do not class burgers as a main meal, it's a snack. What's the point of having things on the menu if you don't have them.

Best Beefeater I’ve found in Hampshire. Like many crinkles I judge a pub on its facilities. They were clean, fresh, and fully functional. Spruce Goose in Basingstoke learn a lesson please Hat of to member of staff Lewis who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Not often you get such professionalism from youngsters these days. Will go again.

Nadine was so welcoming and helpful today, we only popped in for s beer!! Her knowledge of drinks was sensational, we felt looked after and valued. Nadine was the perfect host and her smile and personality were infectious. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you want incredible service, hope to see you again soon Nadine.

Service awful restaurant busy not enough staff meals landed on our table literally like a frisbee waiter put them down in passing My wife’s steak was over cooked My meal should have had mash had chips instead asked why to get told I’ll speak to the chef and never returned so I ate it anyway Sat waiting for desert menus and plates to be cleared gave up in the end asked for the bill which was again just dumped on the table again waited for someone to come back to take payment luckily had enough money in my wallet to pay the bill left it in the table and left All in all a very poor show from beefeater We will NOT return!

2nd visit and another evening of great food and great service Salmon and rice was to die for. 40% off made it an even better night.

My partner and I visited the Beefeater in Farnborough on Monday 3rd July shortly after 6pm. When we arrived it was reasonably quiet so we received a warm welcome straight away from Nadine who took us to our table and asked if we would like to place a drinks order. We asked for a few minutes so we could have a look at the drinks menu as we hadn't visited a Beefeater in quite some time. We also took the opportunity to look at the food menu so when Nadine returned after a few minutes we were able to order our food and drinks at the same time. Her colleague Lewis brought the drinks over and when the food was ready it was promptly brought over despite by this time it had started getting a bit busier and I was surprised to note it only seemed to be the 2 of them working on the floor as they had to do the meet and greet at the door as well as resetting the tables as by this time no sooner had 1 table left there was at least 1 table arriving. As well as taking the orders running drinks and obviously running the food. Although I have to say no matter how busy it was Nadine and Lewis remained calm and professional throughout and the warm welcome was extended to everyone who walked through the door not just to us because it was quite at the point we arrived. I also noticed they were communicating with each other to make sure they both knew what stage of service they were both at. Our food was enjoyable and good portions and once we finished our mains we were asked if we would like to look at the pudding menu. We agreed. My partner was able to decide what he would like straight away whilst I couldn't decide between the waffle or cookie dough so Nadine recommended the cookie dough which I thoroughly enjoyed and really hit the spot. I can not express how much we enjoyed our visit and this was all thanks to the high service we received throughout and Nadine and Lewis are definitely a credit to the team.

I cannot express the service at the Farnborough beefeater we got to the restaurant and was shown to our table straight away no waiting drinks were brought and our food order taken we had our starter which was absolutely lovely followed by our mains I cannot express what a lovely evening food was fantastic and atmosphere perfect well done Farnborough

We saw the breakfast advertised and my friend and I thought we would give it a go - with 4 children under 5 between us. We certainly weren’t disappointed!!So much choice and so easy for the kids to have exactly what they wanted ( and of course they all chose different!!) Our server Kerry was so lovely and patient while they all placed their demands. They had run out of maple syrup but when I asked they said they were working hard to get some more in. (All restaurants are suffering with the same stock problems in the country at the moment so it’s very understandable) Will be visiting again very soon!!

We have not been to the beefeater in Farnborough for well over a year due to Covid, so we were unsure of what to expect. The restaurant was clean, tidy and the staff were fabulous! We were served mainly by Nadine who was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were able to have a laugh with her throughout. We were also served by Nadine’s colleagues, who were also fantastic, chatty, funny and really helpful. Food was brilliant and the service was quick. We spoke to Nadine who said they had a few staff off for a variety of reasons, but you would never have know as the service was impeccable. Thank You!

My husband and I were met promptly at the door and taken to a lovely table by the window. He had prawn cocktail and mixed grill whilst as a vegetarian I chose the cauliflower popcorn and sloppy Joe burger. The food could not be faulted. Its often difficult for me to find many vegetarian options on a menu but here I was spoilt for choice and what I had was lovely. The staff were polite and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly visit again

The steak was dry and over cooked, there was no butter on it. The triple cooked chips were defo not triple cooked as some were hard in the middle. The sauce was very bitter. Very underwhelming for £25! Wasn’t asked if the meal was ok. Won’t be going back.

Popped here with the family for lunch after a morning at the Play 360 across the road. Both wife and I enjoyed our burgers and the kids even finished all of their food! Good value and great service. Would go again.

Returned here again, and even though there was a limited menu still got the service you would expect what we ordered was amazing. We will return.

I haven’t visited a beefeater restaurant in a while, and this time, it did not disappoint! The staff were lovely and welcoming and promptly took us to our table. Lovely meal , had to wait a while for it to arrive but was served by a lovely waitress called nadine . Very attentive and apologised for the wait. The price of the food was reasonable .

Absolutely pathetic. Only limited veggy menu and everything you ask for, they don't have. If you're vegetarian avoid!!!

Popped in on the off chance of a family meal. Friendly and relaxing atmosphere, food piping hot and delicious. Dining experience made even better by our server Katie. She was professional, attentive but not over the top and very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much to ask for for our picky eater Katie is a credit to your company. We were staying at the Premier Inn Farnborough West and there was a problem at the Monkey Puzzle restaurant there so we were directed to this Beefeater. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and piping hot. The meal deal menu was great value for money. Our server was Nadine and she really went the extra mile explaining the menu, delivering the food and drink and checking we were OK. Highly recommended.

My sons love to go there, sometimes for a meal, sometimes just for dessert and drink. The staff were friendly. Most of them wore masks. Prompt and polite service. I think guests were advised to wear masks, but it was not mandatory. We chose to wear them. Hand sanitiser was available.

I went here for lunch with my mate and it was very great service from when we walked in to when we left. Kerry the server was very kind and helpful and made sure we were ok with everything

We took four granddaughters (9-14) for Sunday lunch - they've all eaten there before during previous visits to Farnborough, and this was their choice. Very happy with the food and the service (we always get excellent, professional, courteous, and friendly service from Katie).

I have been visiting the beefeater in Farnborough for breakfast for years. As i have 2 sons, it is such good value and fills us up for our day trips and holidays and meeting for breakfast gives me and my friends an opportunity for a catch up and a gossip while the kids eat! There is always a good selection of continental breakfast options and the hot food is always well cooked and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Kerrie and Gareth who know me and my friends as regulars! I highly recommend the beefeater Farnborough for breakfast as I always have a great experience!

We ate there because it is connected to the very good Premier Inn. The dinner was average at best and the cooked breakfast was not even that good. On a more positive note the staff were very pleasant and friendly.

I stayed in the prem Inn next to the beefeater for 3 nights . I have to say this is one of the best I have eaten in. The food was delicious and the service was always kind and considerate. I had 3 meals and all were spot on. The atmosphere in there was happy and relaxed. The whole team were polite and always made sure I was ok. The breakfast team were amazing. Kerry and Dale and team looked after me . I was there alone but never felt alone. I highly recommend a visit

I came in with my family and was served by katie she was lovely she had a giggle with my children. During our visit today we were served by a lovely lady called Kerry, she was fantastic with the children and catered to all of our needs. Both the food and service from Kerry were faultless and due to this we will definitely be visiting again soon! A very child friendly environment which was exactly what we wanted with three children.

Staying at the Premier Inn town centre so had breakfast at the Beefeater. Covid rules are good, hygiene good, staff were so helpful Nadine and Gareth very accommodating and attentive. My daughter had a Continental and I had a Vegetarian breakfast both were very nice. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Cmprehensive menu and I opted for a T-bone steak, cooked right and the service was ultra fast, with a decent price. Well Worth a visit.

Booking online was easy and quick. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, our table already had a high chair in place as we’d requested one when booking. Alex our sever was really friendly and helpful and made our whole experience wonderful. The food was really tasty and the child’s portion was great. We liked that the children’s menu included a fruit salad not just sweet treats for dessert. We will be back again soon!

Treated my partner to a meal at this restaurant and I have go to say that the service was phenomenal by nadine. I had the chicken and ribs and the meat was fall off the bone/melt in the mouth goodness, will be happy to return

Staying at the Premier Inn next door for a couple of nights, we ate here twice, one breakfast and one evening meal. Both occasions were really good. For breakfast we just had the continental, which was more than enough, especially with great coffee refills. For the evening meal we shared perfectly cooked calamari, beef nachos and chicken wings with a decent value Shiraz. Were also tempted by a shared brownie. Astounding value too. Exemplary service by everyone – you should all get a job at the hotel next door!

What a wonderful and warm welcoming environment I wangled into this morning.Walking into the restaurant this morning I was welcomed with smiles and exceptional service from both Kerry and Gareth, my breakfast was wonderful and I was never short on a refill for my coffee or my juice as both of the staff were constantly on hand to make sure I had everything I needed. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning if I ever find myself in the area again.

The Chef was Ryan who made a lovely English breakfast. The waitress Janine was wonderful with her service. Really polite and kind. The manager on duty was covering the front who greeted us at the door with a friendly face. My stomach was satisfied when I left.

I went for a Breakfast with my best friend b4 we had a longish journey this morning we were greeted by the loverly manager I think her name was Nadine she sat us down n promptly took our drinks order and then ask the waitress who was named Janine to take our order for our food. We didn’t have to wait long for either I was sooo impressed by the service n food that I would recommend us visiting here again. Big thumbs up to the chef as well Ryan it was an awesome meal.

Visited the restaurant a couple of times since lock down and am pleased with the food and service, shout out to Nadine for always gking above and beyond, we are fussy eaters but this is never a problem as she manages to swap and choose meals for the kids

Fabulous Food, Fabulous Service (Thank you Nadine), Fabulous social distancing and Fabulous COVID measures in place.Really enjoyable meal, and even though it was busy (Fathers Day Dinner) all went smoothly and Nadine was always attentive and apologetic, if the wait, had been slightly normal than expected.Hubby had the T-Bone steak, me and my son, had the roast dinners (beef and chicken), all 3 meals delicious and cooked to perfection (roast dinner beef, can be, rather chewy, but this was melt in the mouth) and, I’m rather particular about my roast potatoes, but these were gorgeously crispy on the outside and soft / fluffy on the inside and to top it off, both me and my son, had a huge pile of roasties to enjoy.So nice to get some “normal” back.Thank you Beefeater and Nadine for a lovely experience.

arrived at 14:00pm and finished our meal and had paid up all by 15:10 which me and the wife were surprised about as the place was clearly busy due to the occasion. we were looked after by nadine who did a tremendous job at looking after me and my wife and our crazy and loud offspring. thank you very much to you all

Just returned from my visit at Farnborough Beefeater. Wow, what an improvement from my last visit. We were served by Kerry who was incredible. Always around when needed without being overbearing. The new manager Alex was assisting her on the floor who I could tell was very proud and passionate in her role. I look forward to returning with my partner. Thank you again.

Visited Friday 18 Jun 21 and was very pleased to be able to return to our favourite local restaurant. Social distancing and Covid contrails were well managed and we felt safe for the whole of our visit. And usual the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent as we have come to expect. We had booked on line in advance which was very easy and quick and were greeted by name when we arrived. All in all a great supper and great to be back after such a long time, long may it continue.

Nadine and her colleagues were really helpful and friendly when we booked for a family meal for father's day.

My son, who has to work on Father's Day, treated myself and my wife to meal on Friday evening, Nadine and Alex were very attentive and friendly. There was an attention to detail, particularly in these difficult times. Plus, the steaks were superbly cooked. A very enjoyable evening.

Booked a Fathers Day Meal at the local Beefeater. Our server Nadine was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu. We took her advice on the steak sauces and was very happy with the results of a wonderfully delicious meal.All in all, we were very impressed with Nadines service and will defo be back.

Myself and my family will always come back to the Beefeater because of the manager Nadine . She absolutely makes our evenings there, and we have noticed a real difference in the quality of food in recent months , win win! Also a thumbs up to Lewis on the bar , my wife loves the range of gins on offer .

This is our second visit in as many weeks and both times we were served by Kerry. She made us feel very welcome (as did all the staff) and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was as good as ever and was devoured by children and grandparents alike. Very happy and hope to return again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner options at the Beefeater whilst staying at the Premier Inn attached to the property. The food menu had a variety of options and the food was very good.The service provided by Kerry and Helen was exceptional. I have to be honest and say after my Christmas experience at this Beefeater I swore I would never go back again..I gave in when my partner persuaded me to go there for breakfast.What a delight it turned out to be. There is a young man working called Gareth who completely changed my mind.He is so charming and kind.I visit this Beefeater with my partner and young grandson at least once a week now for our breakfast and he has everything ready for us. He remembers everything we have.Gareth is amazing.

First 3 day work trip in a long while because of Covid. I ate in here for breakfast and dinner for 2 days. Both evenings I was served by Kerry, she was absolutely lovely. Kept a close eye on my requirements, quick service, polite and pleasant. Food was quick and tasty. Breakfasts were also good, prepped to order rather than the usual buffet. Hopefully I'll get to come back when Covid is less of a thing!

After a year of taking a sandwich or takeaway back to my hotel room it’s been so nice to have a sit down meal again with the buzz of other people around on my Tuesday night stopover. The staff at Farnborough have been very welcoming and chatty (namely Nadine, Kerry and Alex(?)). Slowly working my way through the menu and not been disappointed yet. Makes my Tuesday evenings away a lot more enjoyable.

Had a lovely meal - food was tasty and the atmosphere was great. All the covid precautions felt natural and were reassuring, and the restaurant was really clean. The manager Alex was so welcoming and cared that we were having a great time.

Top service from Kerry Alex and Katie would 100% recommend a visit for service alone. We will come back another day.

Whilst staying at the adjacent hotel, it was getting late during the evening, when me and a group of friends decided we were peckish. We called down to the restaurant and made them aware that one of our friends suffered with agoraphobia, to which we were reassured that on arrival, we would be taken to a quiet table. We arrived. We were greeted with smiles all around. We were given menus and guided to our table. Whilst we were later to arrive as originally planned, there was no rush from the staff for us to order thus making it easier to choose what we wanted to eat and drink. We ordered two Jack + Cokes and a bottomless Dr Pepper. One of our friends didn’t order a drink but the manager took it upon herself to grab him some water in case he got thirsty (this is the guy who suffers from anxiety so the woman read them room well to pick up on the reason he may not have ordered a drink). The food we had was two lots of sausage + mash… I chose to grab the Mac N Cheese. Food was great. Service was great. We unfortunately did not make it in time for breakfast the next day but if we stay here again, then we will be sure to come back. Many warm thank yous to Nadine + the staff at the lovely Beefeater. we were served by Maisie tonight, she was great she made sure we were well looked after and was really friendly. Food was amazing, the best i’ve had at a Beefeater! Unfortunately our experience was let down by the other members of staff, who were eating what looked like a burger king takeaway in the bar, which my table agreed was inappropriate, ehy would you do that? to me it shows that they think little of the food they serve. management might want to takr note. other than that, we had a fabulous evening, so thank you very much Maisie!

So, the meal was standard, I don't need to harp on about the food, you get what you get! midrange midpriced decent grub! what stands out however is the service! We spoke to a couple of servers that evening, Nadine and a Kerri/Kerry? they were both fantastic, happy, upbeat, on top of the new covid regs/rules.. but not to the point where it was obnoxious. I saw them keep ontop of every table under them that evening! whilst giving great personal service to everyone. If more places in Farnborough had staff like them, we might draw more people to the town!

Was a really nice meal, lovely food, nice and quiet. Nadine the lady that looked after us was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us. Really lovely meal
