Sunday roast beef was beyond fantastic. Some serious talent in the kitchen produced the best roast dinner we’ve probably ever had. Nice friendly service. Celeriac roast not so much a hit with our pescatarian daughter but she loved all the accompliments. We will return.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner. For starters we ordered the black pudding sausage roll and the smoked salmon crumpet, both were very tasty and just the right amount. We shared the chateaubriand medium/rare with peppercorn sauce and garlic butter. For sides we ordered the triple cooked chips and the truffle mac and cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The service was great and the staff were amazing and very attentive throughout. Our server Danielle was lovely and talked us through the menu and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back soon for a visit.

Sunday lunch was amazing! It’s huge & definitely the best we have found so far. Only constructive criticism is that it might be an idea to have a fish alternative to the celeriac.

My wife and I enjoyed a very special St Valentine’s evening in Beat 6 on the recommendation of a dear friend. It was a real treat. The food was delightful - a taster menu - just enough of everything! The staff were very pleasant and friendly and the service they provided was spot on. We loved the vibe and the ambience too. Thank you for making a special evening even more special!

Extremely disappointed. On arrival we were told that there was no scallops or whitebait - bearing in mind this was early evening on a Saturday, it was a bit surprising. Were also advised there was no Merlot, but there was a substitute wine. When we asked about it the server couldn't tell us anything. It also came as a surprise that the main courses didn't come with any vegetables. When we asked the server what the fish goujons came with, he advised "tartare sauce"! Referring to the chicken Kiev, we asked why the cauliflower cheese was printed in quotation marks...we were advised he didn't know. We ordered 3 sides of triple cooked chips at £5 per portion. When they arrived they were very underwhelming. Small bowls of chips....which had no resemblance to any triple cooked chips that I have had or have made. The looked more like frozen chips with skins on. We waited a long time between starter and main. When the mains arrived the fish goujons were very overcooked. The tartare sauce equated to around a teaspoon amount and we had to ask for more. Dessert didn't fare much better. The ice cream sundae was two scoops of ice cream in a bowl with the relevant topping. Not the type of sundae we were expecting. Very little custard with the crumble. St Andrew's cheddar arrived, without the cheese scone. Instead it came with 3 oatcakes. When I asked about it, I was told they didn't have any scones. I ordered it specially for the scones. To be fair, it was removed from the bill. A 12.5% service charge of £26 was automatically applied to our bill. We asked for it to be removed as we felt that we hadn't received good service, but think it was a bit cheeky adding it on to a table of 4. We noticed that an automatic donation to the Beatson of £1 per person was also automatically added to the bill. We have no issue in paying this, but wondered what the justification for it was if all the profits from the restaurant were already going to the Beatson?

We went for a Sunday roast and it was delicious. Really friendly and attentive staff. Cauliflower cheese, beef, Yorkshire puddings… and the gravy brought the dish together and took the taste to the moon… wow!. It’s a really efficient restaurant too, looks small from the outside but with the second floor and layout you can sit a good number of covers which add to the atmosphere. We really warmed to the Beat 6 concept too. One thing I would point out is in my opinion a Sunday roast with beef is usually enjoyed with red wine but the price of a bottle or glass was relatively high.. If the overall cost was slightly lower it would bring me back every week however it is a local business and we will be back at one point 100%.

Phenomenal meal! We came here for the Sunday Roast and what a feed it was! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Portion sizes were brilliant and very filling. Staff were so lovely and very accommodating. Will be back and will be recommending to others. Just brilliant!

We were part of large private family party in the mezzanine in their new location in Bearsden. We had a fixed menu and a wine pairing with each course. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. The meal was tasty from start to finish with a huge attention to detail. The black pudding scotch egg, steak and sticky toffee pudding were top rate. With all the profits going to Beatson Cancer Charity, it is true philanthropy.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinner, the beef was one of the best Sunday dinners I have had out. Also the oysters were fantastic as was the starters. The service was 5 star and it’s also nice to support a good cause too.

Firstly I’d like to commend the team for the theme of this restaurant. Sending its profits to the Beatson Cancer Centre is admirable. Only downside is the portions aren’t big & slightly on the pricey side. Saying that, when you know where the £ is going it’s easier to part with it. Nonetheless the staff extremely friendly & the service is very quick as there is a good amount of staff. The most important thing - the food is absolutely delicious & thanks to our waitress for the day as named Poppy for her friendliness , professionalism & alerting us to further deals. We will be back very soon . Keep up the good work, I wish more places would apply this policy of donations

We enjoyed a wonderful evening here for my wife's birthday. The service and food were exemplary. Front of House staff are a credit to the establishment, special mention goes to Cara who was professional, polite, hospitable and personable. Thank you.

First visit and really enjoyed it. Food was amazing snd very well presented. Definitely needed to take snacks & cheese to have enough to eat. Wine package excellent as tailored to chosen food.

Very pricey for what it is. Food was good quality and nicely presented but portions tiny - especially course 1. 12.5% discretionary service charge. £2 donation to the Beatson both added to the bill. Drinks equally expensive.

Went in for an early dinner booking and were the only two in the restaurant at the time. Staff were lovely and friendly, and had confirmed one of us was coeliac when we were seated. Would have been that extra touch if they then proceeded to inform us which of the options were available gluten free without being prompted (or if this information was on the menu), but most of it was able to be adapted, including the dishes I had my eye on. Got the walnut tart (minus the tart), green asparagus, chicken, cheese course and the Strawberry dessert. The staff were very knowledgeable about the meals.

We went as a party of 3 on Saturday to Hillfoot Beat 6 and it was simply fabulous. Big thanks to the amazing staff, the restaurant was packed, the atmosphere was great and the food was once again sublime. Everyone, please treat yourself to this fantastic experience, the chef's dishes will amaze you. We've booked our return already. We'll done to all staff.

Booked for my partner's birthday. There was only a couple of tables in at the time so we have received a near enough private dining experience. Amazing dishes, served with a smile and a lovely description of each dish given by the server. This was our first tasting menu experience and we want more! Towards the end of the meal I got a massive cramp in my left leg, staff offered help but managed to walk it off in 5 minutes.

Nice space, good service, the tasting menu was very good. For me the star was the fish supper - I guess you could say it was a posh fish n chips, but some great tastes going on. I didn't think i would like the pickled...

Great place, fantastic food which is always interesting, good selection of wine and the staff can't do enough. Been many times within a couple and with different groups of family/friends/work colleagues, Beat 6 has consistently been fabulous!
