Bayleaf Bangla Takeaway in Rochdale

Food was good, delivery time was amazingly quick and this is the only takeaway where the food actually arrived piping hot. Wont be using anywhere else after these results. Definitely recommend

Great food and speedy delivery. Just disappointed that we order from you extremely regularly (have just moved from 16 Field View Lane, OL12 7TS). After spending £100, we didn’t get any free poppadoms, mint sauce, onions etc which you would expect from a large order.

I've been ordering from the Bay leaf for 5 years and it never disappoints! The chicken Tikka jhali Bhuna is the Best I've tasted!

pasanda wasn't as nice as normal and my garlic nan had no garlic ...pretty poor tonight compared to normal

Until recently I hadn’t ever had a bad meal from here, but tonight I’ve had to call to have the chips replaced again as they’re overcooked and soaked in oil every time. I’ve waited 25 minutes for some fresh ones, and the rest of the food is now cold. Worst of all, the second lot are exactly the same. They’re obviously re frying the chips they’re left with. Really annoyed to have paid for a cold curry and 2 bags of chips that have gone in the bin.

I ordered a king prawn masala, unfortunately the chef didn’t peal the skin off the King prawns which spoiled the meal.

Exactly as expected, hot and fresh, delivered quickly. 👍

Just the best chicken tikka masala from here, been enjoying this food a long time, had a lot of bad currys around and about in the places I've lived but i can honestly say Bayleaf's is way up the list of the best I've had. Just a shame as with everything these days we have to pay so much money for what used to be a £5 odd curry and £2 odd rice portion with 20p poppadoms years ago.

Food was ok I suspect it would have been hotter originally so taste wise was ok but slightly cold.

on the whole the food was brilliant, my only gripes was the chicken in the masala was blackened burned on a few pieces, and there was a strangeness to the egg fried rice, i think they was burned half rings of onions, i'll still to pilau in future, it wasn't for me that rice.

Just had quite a large order delivered, came in a little under an hour. Food hot and fresh, well packaged cold stuff separated out from hot stuff. Really nice thanks.

OMG This has got to be the VERY VERY BEST Asian takeaway ive ever had! Just ordered here tonight for the first time. I will NOT be going anywhere else ever again. This place is the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever been to. As a vegetarian I’ve learned that choice isn’t a luxury to always expect but this place does everything. My whole family absolutely rave every time we all treat ourselves to a takeaway from here and it’s absolutely gorgeous quality. 10/10.

Absolutely perfectly made food all around. Only oet downy the misleading menu. When choosing which meat for the curry the only two items that say Tandoori next to them is chicken and king prawns, so i chose tandoori mixed, thinking it would be a chicken and prawn mix, it wasn't! It came with seekh kebab and lamb tikka in as well as chicken and no prawns. So please correct the menu as i didn't want lamb in my curry at all.

Had a takeaway, food ok although charged for something we didn't get but massively over priced. Won't be using again.

Delivery at time stated. Food was spectacular as usual and piping hot. Recommendation is the Lamb Sagwala. Beauty!

I can honestly say that the food from here has been the most consistently amazing from any resturaunt or take away I have been to throughout the whole country. Absolutely superb food, everytime.

I have bought from this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed and I was not this time. Great food, loads of it and all at a good price. Highly recommend the Bayleaf.

Curry was very watery and had 8 of the tiniest pieces of chicken in there. The chips were rubbery, not crispy at all. I order from here a lot, such a shame it was terrible this time round.

Myself & my partner have used the Bayleaf regularly for a good few years. The food has always been top class & reasonably priced. We’d usually have 2 curries a couple of rice naan & popadums. On this occasion I ordered for one and was stunned that the price had gone up so much. I paid as much for one meal as I had previously for 2. When I called to ask if there had been a mistake, I was told I must have been looking at an old menu. I can’t fault the food but at the increased prices I won’t be reordering.

Great food, delivered on time, one item missing but that didn't detract from our overall experience as we still plenty to go around. Our nephew said it was best chicken tikka he's ever had.

Another absolutely fantastic meal. By far the best Indian takeaway for miles around. Brilliant quality, loads of choice, great service!

Superb food. It was only for me so not a huge order but 100% everything i ordered was top shelf! The tastiest properly cooked pakoras I've had in a long time, usually they are undercooked in most places where the batter falls off the meat in one go, not here! The crispiness too instead of soggy greasy muck. Curry sauce perfectly mixed, big portion of basmati rice (large foil like the curry tub, not the half size one) perfectly cooked naan to round it off. Lastly the consistency of the mango and yoghurt for the poppadoms👌, not watered down at all! Well done Bayleaf

Really fresh tasty food. As simple as that. Just a selection of small bites rather than a main big dish this time. Still satisfying.

Poppadoms/onion bhajis were lovely but the curry was absolutely awful, inedible and had to be thrown away. Was absolutely gutted as I’ve ordered from here before and loved it so I’m not sure what’s happened. Didn’t have a main meal as we only ordered the one curry to share so was really disappointed. Won’t be ordering again.

There is no other curry house worth the time and money. I've tried them all, and Bayleaf is the GOAT.

Normally such good food but the spices in the bhuna tasted burnt making it inedible and the butter chicken was watery. Nevermind the fact they only sent one poppadom than the usual two, compounded by the expensive cost which is definitely not justified this time.

I ordered a Balti dish a medium rated curry dish. This is one of my favourite dishes but not in this case, it was way to hot (to much chilli), so much so I only managed to eat half the meal the rest had to be binned. I think the rating should have been in the hot category not medium this has happened to other orders I have made in the past. The Onion Bhaji starters were very good.

the driver got lost.he phoned me and i directed him to 15 metres from my door.he got out the car then went backwards down another street while i was stood there shouting.i am not allowed out my house as i am isolating so couldnt run after him.by time he came back i knew the food was going to be cold but me and my son had to eat as it was so late already

Ordered at 7.20 arrived at 10.05. rang BayLeaf twice. First time said it was on the way. Rang again and they had to ring the delivery driver to check where he was.

After waiting over 2 and a half hours for the food it still hadn’t arrived, called the restaurant only to be told they can’t process a refund, appalling service

I rang up before hand to ask about a dish and ordered it! Chicken Tikka Shashlik Absolutely gorgeous. Hot, spicy and more than enough. We had it between 2 of us. My fav at the moment.

Always order from here as the food is great and never usually have any issues, however this time the food should have arrived 8.35-8.55 but actually arrived early at 8.05 but the delivery driver failed to press the doorbell so left presuming no one was in. Someone returned at 9pm with lukewarm soggy food. JustEat messaged saying food was on its way at 8.35, half an hour after the first driver actually came. Whole experience was a mess.
