Bath & Body Works in Cardiff

Furious . We went all the way to store to purchase a rug. To be met with unhelpful staff. Grace needs a lesson in customer service . Could not be bothered to serve us . So rude . No hello, eye contact or attempt to help . She had my husband running back and forth 3 times until I said not to bother and we would order online instead. Previous to this the three girls were huddled around having a chat and customers were hunting for someone on the tills and when I approached them previous to the till incident they looked at me as if to say how dare you disturb us. Sort it out next ! You will loose custom and please try and train Grace to be pleasant to customers .

Nice material clothes and a reasonable price, not many places compare. Staff member was super helpful at finding items that I needed in a different size and spent no time in finding the right items, I believe her name was Sofia. All the staff in the building were kind and polite, as well as striking conversations and making sure I had everything I needed and just in general being pleasant. Another staff member who stood out was Ellis, he was very friendly and made sure I was okay when I was looking round the home section.

Visited Next Leckwith today with my mother, we used the fitting rooms & after trying on I put my clothing back, (there was no rail available). I had made my way towards the till to find a different size and put the other size back, after doing so, I hear two colleagues talking about me, saying “the young girl has left all her clothing on the floor” & I was “rude” for apparently leaving fitting rooms a state!! Which I had not done!! (the colleague had also directly stated what I looked like and was wearing at the time, it was obviously me). This was something I had not done, I thought I was in fact helping by putting clothing back. I had left that fitting room as I found it - Empty. Also “Young people these days have no manners” was my utterly favourite comment made by one staff member, because of my age I’m now rude and messy? Stereotyping is disgusting. The cheek of one woman Sarah, then walks over to another colleague on the side of the store I was on, saying “you see that young girl there, she just left the changing rooms a mess?!” I was putting my items back!! Find it extremely funny how Sarah stopped talking the second I turned to face her, making it extremely obvious I was listening. Another colleagues then said “I didn’t see what happened” and completely ignored me when I was for a manager the first time… beyond rude. After speaking to my mother, there was a changing room next to mine that did have clothing on the floor, but Sarah, a sales assistant, has accused me as she only saw me coming out of the changing room area!! No apology from her, she scattered the second the assistant manager came along. I was originally told the “manager wasn’t in”. Eventually I did speak to the Assistant Manager who did nothing all to help, provided me no assistance and said I had an attitude for saying “I do think more need to be done than just a talking to because of the lack of customer service and false accusations”. I would also like to think she would have appreciated that the I was extremely upset that my staff were actively talking rubbish about myself purchasing out stock! I appreciate things run differently in other stores, but I’m not happy with how this was dealt with. It’s almost as if I was making it up!! We had over £200 worth of clothing, ready to purchase. As a supervisor myself, I would instantly pull that staff member aside, and encourage them to apologise. Or even pull up CCTV to validate the customer, offer discounts or at least write down a number for customer service, rather than saying “it’s online”. This happened all on the floor and I’m sure the cameras will pick up the finger pointing and mouth closing when Sarah noticed I was listening. Felt like high school, despite them being in their late 40s-60s. I am extremely disappointed with the response I had from the assistant manager and I will be calling head office in the morning. I did receive an apology from Sandra, another lady who was involved, however after telling me at the till “they’d had a bad day & not to take it personally” really did not help… you take it off the floor! I would avoid this store at all costs, especially if you’re young, make your way to town, I’m sure they’ll be less judgemental and less likely to make false accusations there! Entitlement at its finest.

Be careful when parking to shop you only get 3hrs or you get a £50 parking charge go somewhere else I will in future

Next, one of the worst shops around. If you have a Barrett semi on a 40 year variable and drive an Audi on 7 year finance, you work as Executive director of sales and marketing with teeth fresh from Turkey, your wife's name is Chesney-luise and you love football, this IS the shop you. Everyone else, go elsewhere.

Went to look for shoes for work, nothing there except sandals. Pointless having a big next if you are not going to cater for everyone

Wanted some summer bargains for clothes. Selection was good, style has gone more Ted Baker, but that's ok as it's a bit more stylish in there now. Quality of clothes have improved. Nice fashion, good quality. Not bad if you want some smart clothes with no labels that will last. Shop laid out well, home and clothes and plenty of choice. Had to knock a star off as tills seem to be unmanned and only come when noticed. Problem is, I wasn't noticed for some time. But they was friendly and apologized for keeping waiting.

I only use tge coffee shop, which is fab

It's lovely to shop in Next generally, goods, quality range etc, my only misgivings are it feels very cramped, 2 yrs later even more cramped, & selection very poor.

Unfortunately I have had a shockingly bad experience at this Next store. I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered to store as they did not have my size when I was there. Less than a week after they were ordered, I looked online and it was showing they had been 'collected' - by someone else! I rang up customer services and was told that it was an error and they were in store, and they had extended the time period I have to collect. Then I went to pick them up the following weekend and was told that they had been checked out again and the extension had not been applied! I complained whilst in store to the manager, who apologised and I asked when I would be refunded. The manager rang through to customer services and then informed me that the refund was being processed. A week later, I could not see the refund in my account so I rang up customer services, who told me that the refund had not gone through because it can only be done in store. I expressed that this was not acceptable, and that the store is over 20 mins drive for me, and I had already been there to try to sort this out and been told that it was in hand. Customer services emphasized and agreed to process the refund but said that it could take 10 working days instead of being instant in-store. I will have to wait and see if this refund does happen now or if I have to chase it up a third time. Evidently it should have been refunded in store, but this had not happened. I have lost all confidence in Next and particularly this store, very unhappy customer.

Great location, plenty of parking, Cafe Nero in store along with toilets on first floor. Bath and Body works in store aswell, plenty to keep you busy browsing for a while, men's and kids department too

Not much furniture on display which can be annoying when that's what you go to the store to see. Lots of Live, laugh love rubbish but I can go to B&M for that.

The home section is great and there is a Cafe Nero you can sit in. The children's and women's sections are good, but the men's section didn't impress me. The range isn't as good as the Next in Queen Street, so I would only check this out if I was already at the retail park for another reason.

Love the next jeans perfect fit always and to be honest i love next clothes there of great quality and value for money! Highly recommend next amazing shop !

My wife have purchased a lovely light from next online for our brand new porch. It's been delivered in a brown box no fitting instructions or fittings , On further investigation the light shade have been crossthreded so you can't fit the light as you can't remove the shade. So the good wife emailed next for fitting instructions. They replied we will have to send a new light as instructions are light Pacific. So today the light come in a nice box with images of the light over the box, fitting instructions ,fittings to fit it to the ceiling. The shade unscrews as it should. 55 pounds for a second any electrical items that's been returned should be p,a,t, tested. it's not what I would of expected from next

Sat last we asked a junior cust serv attendant if we could inspect the contents of a security sealed box from the lighting section. We were a bit taken back by his relpy. No the boxes cannot be opened. We said "how can we know if this item will fit 'the electric lampshade holder without seeing it" he answered that we can buy & if not happy to return it for refund. This was not a good answer as he was negating a sale which I presume is Next's 'raison d'être'. Not satisfied with the reply my wife then sought out another who it turns out was a very accommodating store manager. He greeted us politely & payed attention to the addressed query. He slightly missed the point by answering that Next contractors are brought in to install the fittings. But he agreebly said 'yes' the boxes can be opened and accompanied us back to location. Once I saw the item satisfied we asked for two lampshades. Note that the item was not hanging for visual display. But his positive attitude had secured a sale of Boston £64. Once they were hanging we made another trip back to find two more lampshades. One was to hand the other ordered ready the next day if required. We settled for two 'Chrome Belgravia' £130. So in the aftermath of a negative reaction which could of cost the store a loss of £194 The mgr by saving one sale created a positive reaction which engendered another.

This store is terrible. The way everything is laid out is atrocious, you have to go up stairs just to collect a parcel and you need to pray that it’s the right thing you ordered. Visited here a couple of days ago to collect an order of jewellery as a gift for a friend, lucky I opened the box to double check the gift and found that it was the completley wrong order. Went back in and told staff and they told me they would order the right one however I would have to pay the price again as they couldn’t just swap it out. So I was down double the money for the next three days until they could refund me for the one they got wrong. Came back to collect the replacement and after going upstairs I was greeted by a queue of people waiting for their parcels as staff walked around oblivious and chatting away. It was only when the queue grew to 15 people and we made comments, that someone kicked into gear and went to get our parcels which took another 10 minutes. Absoloute shambles I have warned all family and friends not to shop or collect parcels here. Even some staff said they would never order from the store as it’s a pain in the behind.

Not many options in men clothing City centre next has more items

Works for me for a number of types of men's clothes. I am a slightly awkward men's size, or it seems so, but not here.

Ordered a dress went to collect it and put my code in waited for my good but there serviced about 6 people who come in after me so I was asked if I was waiting for a parcel said yes they ask for my name and code they sent me and still could not find it waited over half hour just for 1 thing I ordered.they found it in the end not happy about the service I received for the Staff at Next in Leckwith in Cardiff.

Lovely helpful friendly staff. Lot's of bargains. The only negative was that there were no changing rooms open. A bit disappointed. Had to take two sizes in everything. So lots to take back.

Huge store. Love the kids section. Could do a bit better on service in menswear though.

Was really excited to spend some vouchers I had for my birthday but bitterly disappointed that Next clothing no longer caters for my needs. No petite range whatsoever so no chance of new Jean's or trousers. No work-wear either. If you're on the smaller side, as in 5"3 online only. I literally left in tears!

Some lovely lamps for sale in Next. Not much of a sale on in there yet.

Love shopping at Next for their home and fashion items. So many beautiful things to look at and touch but some of the layout of the clothing sections doesn't flow very well. Found myself having to turn back on myself a lot - like a pacman, because there wasn't enough room for 2 people to pass each other down an aisle.

Great range of goods. Unfortunately didn't have the goods in stock that we required.

I was surprised how much I disliked their furniture 🤣

My experience on going into Next was absolutely brilliant , i was in the kitchen department & was unable to find what I was looking for , I approached the lady on the till by the name of Shirley, very helpful, showed me where the items would be great communication throughput, as items wasn't on shelf Shirley went and checked on computer, Shirley could order my items in and be her next day, I'd like to say a big thank you to Shirley from home department, I very much appreciate all your help , communication & generally took your time to help me find what I needed such a pleasure meeting a lady who has taken time , Thank you Shirley from home department at next 🙂

Store is nice, it's got a poor men's selection and the till queue quite often takes a while hence the 4 star's.

I went for collection there as they have ample parking place. The shop floor is nice as usual for Next. I found the collection option is not very mature. Entering the shop I couldn't find info about collection point and went to downstairs till. But when went to till informed there is box upstairs. I am normally good at using tech and used the machine. But in short instance machine informed me to go to collection point or to the till. When i discuss with one staff at till she took me to machine and then to till for info. But in the meantime a lady brought the packages. So collection system can be more accurate.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Love the home displays.

BE AWARE.. after spending a lot of money in next we had a parking fines of £90 however, next was not interested and it applies to all shops here.
