A really nice evening at the restaurant on Saturday, great food and service. Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Our first time here but we will definitely be booking again.

A lovely Italian restaurant serving tasty Italian food. Good service and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was busy, which is a good sign, and the food still came in good time. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Look forward to visiting again.

Visited today for lunch, I had the lasagne and my partner had the fillet steak in a pepper sauce, both were fabulous!!!

Outstanding food. Excellent quality. The chef knows what he is doing. Service okay-ish. Setting is fine. Quiet, nice space, nice background music. What can they do better? Stock non-alcoholic beer for patrons who need to drive.

Great to have high quality Italian food at a lunch service! Fantastic quality food, reasonably priced with friendly, welcoming service. Wonderful Minestrone soup and Goats cheese starters. The Canelloni was spinach rich and seasoned perfectly and the Lasagne was very authentic. Totally recommend!

Just got in from a lovely meal at this first time experience for us (even though we live in Macc) the food was ace and my two children loved it, as did I and my partner. Now I have discovered this place I will be back. Thankyou

Nice garlic bread. Had the chicken Milanese, and it was quite bland. It didn't taste bad, but it could have been better. On the other hand the garlic bread is lovely. One thing that really let it down was the mens bathroom looked as if someone had shaved their beard in the sink. But left all the hair in and around the sink. A bit off putting if you ask me. Don't think I'd go again

In a word - amazing! Looks to be a family run business. Varied menu and really great value. Parking lets this place down because you have to find somewhere on the street but that's not their fault. Would we come again? Absolutely!

A cozy and stylish restaurant, serving the best Italian food in Macclesfield. The dishes were very tasty with generous portions and the service and staff were excellent. I shall definitely go back and utterly recommend it.

Second time we've been to this restaurant this month after being recommended by a friend once with our children and tonight just the 2 of us both occasions have been 1st class staff so friendly food is incredible couldn't recommend enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All the dishes were excellent and the chairs are sooooooo comfy. The intros, starters and mains were phenomenal. My pasta dish was huge and was huge value for money. The sea bass was delightful and the seafood pasta exquisite. Definitely a hidden gem in Macclesfield. Service was fabulous the staff were very smiley 😊 Thankyou Basilico

First time here and the staff were really welcoming, great service and the food was simply fantastic. The pizza was really thin base yet crispy and plenty of toppings. What more do you need?

Skip Pizza Express, skip Wood Fire Smoke and skip Dominos. Instead nip down to Basilico, it's independent, it's local and it's friendly and the food is fantastic. We enjoyed a bottle of the house red, pizzas and pasta and it was delicious. We'll be back very soon.

Lovely owner and ambiance but poor quality food. Mozzarella fritta was mozzarella sticks from a supermarket with cranberry sauce from a jar. pizza ingredients were tasty but pizza bases were very poor quality.

couldn't make a less welcoming environment, passive aggressive staff, dire phone etiquette, staff pulling faces when you ask for stuff/poor service..quite odd to be honest..but food was good to be fair

My wife and I were very well served, the food was very good. The staff very friendly. The chef did not know it was my wife’s birthday, but over heard we talking about her birthday and even gave us a free dessert. Very good a must if you fancy a good Italian.

Hands down the best pizza you will have in the UK. You're spoiled for choice in this area in Macclesfield, but this is hands down my family's favourite. Plus, Sam is a delight!

One of the few Italian restaurants in town, which also does lunch sittings. We’ve been going since it opened 18 months ago, the food has always been excellent and the prices haven’t gone up either. They have a regular changing specials board, but I love the duck with the cherry glaze sauce on the main menu. The duck was cooked perfectly. We had starters (x2 BBQ ribs & halloumi salad), and for our mains my wife and son had lamb shank and lasagne respectively with some garlic bread to share. All cooked really well with generous portions. Varied and affordable wine list and a very charismatic (and appreciative) owner make going to Basillico an experience. Great food, great value.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Fairly small, so it was busy on a Saturday night and had a good atmosphere. Friendly staff, and the food was really nice, with good size portions, I would go here again. Bit draughty in winter if you sit near the front door as it kept sticking open.

Me and my partner stopped here for a bite to eat, it was a Saturday evening around 7:30pm we didn’t book but were seated. We both ordered pizzas, they were delicious and couldn’t fault them. The staff were lovely, there was one lady running round (I think she was the owner) she was very busy and didn’t stop moving the whole time we were there. Despite being busy she still touched base with us and thanked us on the way out.

Awful. Staff did not tell us card machine was broken, only after we brought out our cards were we made aware. Two teenage girls went to a cashpoint alone to get cash as we were a group of teens who do not carry cash and were unaware of no card option. They didn’t apologize or compensate anything. Also pizza tasted like fast food pizza. Not brilliant. Very pricy for what it was.

The food was really greasy and tasted undercooked. The staff were really aggressive and made us feel unwelcome. They made us trek in the dark as 17 year olds after not telling us that the card machine didn't work

Service was excellent, friendly, could not fault it at all. Food also excellent, brilliant choices and very reasonably priced. I had a lamb shank and thought it was perfect, however I had £5 taken off its cost, because the owner was not satisfied on the size, I thought it was perfectly adequate. Loved this place. It was very busy but the food was terrific so it's understandable. You definitely need to book well in advance but you'll find its worth it.

I found the place was cramped as tables close together and not much room between the table next to you, no atmosphere, felt rushed and no draught lagers. They also let people sit at there table and smoke there ecigs next to you which is disgusting when you are eating, the food was nice.

First time visit and will definitely be coming back. Venue is lovely with a nice, chilled atmosphere. Staff are top notch. Food is amazing and they are willing to make amendments if required. I had the tagliatelle arribiata and asked to add some spicy sausage, owner gladly obliged. We both thoroughly enjoyed food and time at Basilico.
