I love this place, it is my favourite place to have top notch Manakish. The staff are lovely too.

Absolutely vile atrocious pizza. Not cooked at all, dough is soggy, cheese isn't melted and far to much cheese on. looks like a 2 year old threw peppers on to it. Overall disgusting and waste of £20!!

One of the worst restaurants don’t waste your money here. Today we ordered Chicken Mandi and Shawarma plate both of these were very dry seemed like not freshly made and must be from previous days.If there was 0 rating would have put that.AVOID!!!

Me and my partner eat here at least twice a month. I'm vegetarian he is not. We both swear that the halloumi wrap is the best thing to eat. My partner also loves the chicken tawok wrap. The Baba Ganoush from here is exquisite. You must also try the basha sauce. God knows what's in it (crack?!). But it's worth it's weight in gold. Best order: halloumi wrap, chicken tawouk wrap, Baba Ganoush, basha sauce. Incredible food from a fabulous family business.

Best place to get a kebab on Smithdown. Tastes completely home made, seasoning 11/10. Vibes are on 100%. If you’re sound you’ll get to wear a branded fez. Boss gave us extra baba ghanoush this eve which was so delicious & very kind. Such good food & service. Long live Basha ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Ordered food total of £35 that never arrived the restaurant told me to speak with the driver and just eat spoke with just eat they said sorry there is nothing we can do and the driver did not answer the phone. I went to the restaurant they said is nothing we can do either, what scam is this! Absolutely disgraceful!

We visited this place and we loved it. The food was very tasty and good service. We had chicken, mussaka, chips, rice, salad, everything was very good. It's healthy food, which I appreciate. Reminds me of homemade food, I recommend this place. We really like that the place was clean and higenic as well.

Picked up a takeaway from here and it was excellent, the mixed grill is easily enough for two and the doner meat was the nicest I've had for a while. The kitchen area looks like it's kept spotless and the lads behind the counter are very personable. Can't fault it tbh.

Was stopped by there on the way back to drive to South. Welcoming by friendly and helpful staff 👍. Needed to quick bite for long drive, it was good experience with food except the sides . Ordered mix grill. Meat was tastefully and delicious . Not much waiting for that as the place was not crowded once arrived. They can work more with sides like more breads and salads will be good for eating in. Have enough tables in terms of the place space, no table service but tables are clean and tidy most of the time. They can work with fuzzy drinks as well as they have basic one that they can add more options. Also side sauces needed to be on the table once eating in. At the end food mainly tastefully and enough to satisfy your appetite. Would visit again if I get around. Foods are mainly from middle eastern cousin.

Absolutely delicious chicken shawarma with saffron rice & salad. I can't wait to try more of their food. I forgot to take a photo, but it arrived in a polystyrene take out try, chicken laid out on the Arabic bread with Basha sauce on, salad & rice in the separate compartments.

Really fresh and delicious food! You won't regret going in there. Lovely desert to. I had moussaka with Rice and some lovely cookie dough mmmm... The staff were good, but food wasn't freshly prepared.

Wanted something different from usual, Chinese, Indian, Fried Chicken take away. Had mixed meat with vegetables, that whilst looked like the filling for sheperds pie was packed full of flavours and spices with just the right amount of heat. Also ordered chicken lentil soup that was also beautiful. Seen sea bass being grilled whilst there and will be returning to try that. Deffo worth a visit and go for something different than a burger.

They are accepting orders on uber in the morning and then cancelling them when they really open at 3pm

I really like this place, every time I go there to eat or order food from home, I don't regret it. it's a really comfortable place, with great food and staff, I recommend everyone to go there to eat at least once, it's worth it.

Very satisfied to order some food from Basha! The cheese burger was very well done, and I decided to try some arayes (bread with seasoned minced lamb) even if I am not a big lamb meat’s fan, and actually it worth it! As a side, I also had some very nice tabbouleh. To conclude, very happy to see that the food was well presented even for takeaway! Will definitely be back soon!

The food at this establishment is really good value for money. There is a large menu to choose from and the quality of the food has always been to a high standard. The staff are really friendly. I would recommend the chicken shawarma, it tastes great!!

We ordered a substantial amount that arrived late. The Mandi was without flavour and consisted of just a few pieces of lamb, a huge amount of bland rice, and no accompanying salad. The pitta bread was cold and damp. The burgers had no pickles and overall the whole thing was such a disappointment.

Did I get unlucky from here? the donner meat was old and dry almost as if it was reheated from the previous night. The burger was overcooked, dry and tough. And the chicken shawarma literally dripping with grease, the chips were nice mind you but honestly not worth it.

This is my favourite takeaway (kebab edition) on Smithdown. Yes I know Friends is excellent and their special naan is so good it should cost twice as much, but Basha do mezze!! And cheese parcels! And hummus! The mixed grill is massive, delivery is quick, and it’s really good value for money.

No matter what, when I'm in the mood for a takeaway I always resort back to Basha. The food is top quality at such a good price. It always arrived quickly, piping hot and fresh. I'd recommend the Chicken Mashwey!

I ordered from Deliveroo for delivery, twice. The Basha Shawarma is incredible, and the burgers are among the best takeaway burgers I've ever had. 60p extra for cheese is a bit steep, but I wouldn't want a burger without it. I will also say that the double burgers are a bit unwieldy, so unless you can unhinge your jaw, or you fancy de-constructing your dinner, I'd get 2 single burgers instead. The second time I ordered I thought I'd try the "mixed grilled" for £13.50. The food was nice, but I bought it to share and it said it comes with chicken wings... it came with a single chicken wing. Compared to the shawarma I'd had the time before, for about half the price, the value of this is TERRIBLE and the portions are small, so don't make the same mistake I did! If you stick to the shawarma you can't go wrong for quality or value. Fantastic.

Takeaway food that makes you feel good after you eat it. The guys in here are lovely and the lamb wrap with humous, taziki and fresh salad is soooo good

For what is supposedly a kebab restaurant the kebabs are dreadful. Firstly, for some reason the kebabs are served in takeaway boxes with separate compartments, so there is 2 very small compartments for chips and salad, then 1 larger sized compartment for the kebab meat. The meat itself was not even cut down fresh from the rotisserie, but taken from a plate under the counter that was full of pre-cut kebab meat covered in clingfilm. When I asked to have the meat on top of the chips and the salad on top of the meat (how it is served in every other kebab shop in Liverpool) it seemed like an impossible task. Once this had eventually been done and I told them what sauce I wanted, I returned home to find they had FORGOTTEN TO EVEN ADD THE SAUCE. My dry, tasteless kebab was an absolute disappointment from start to finish and I won't be ordering from there ever again.
