Lovely oatcakes. Nice staff. Some people moan about the wait but I don't understand why it's made to order & If you don't want to wait place your order over the phone!

It doesn't get any better than this place for oatcake breakfasts, cooked literally in front of your eyes.

Great oatcakes and always up for a chat whilst cooking. Always pop in when I visit the area from Llandudno.

Are there better oatcakes? I think not. I used to get my lunch from Barry's 23 years ago....the fact that they're still dishing them out is testimony to the oatcakey goodness.

Good quality oatcakes but poor customer service when I was there. I walked in and they were doing something behind the counter and serving the just one customer ahead of me. They didn't ask what I wanted for 5 minutes. Not really good enough.

I have been visiting Barry's off and on for the last 30 years. His oatcakes are consistently the best! So I suggest you totally ignore any silly negative reviews and get stuck in to some of the best oatcakes you will ever taste!

Still my favourite oatcake shop after all these years. Went here for school dinners when I could. Friendly owners.

Reading reviews already posted leaves me flabbergasted, are these reviewers getting confused and reviewing somewhere else, have they never eaten genuine traditional Staffordshire Oatcakes?, because those served up to me were awful, slimey and strange smell and even worse taste, and the proprietor a proper obnoxious character who told me his were the finest oatcakes for miles and looked like he’d just carried out an oil change on an old tractor!Take a tip from me, hop in your car and have a run across the border....you won’t regret it!Sorry Barry but your fare is poor at best!

Lovely oatcakes with a good range of fillings. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long, but I guess you can't rush perfection!

Superb quality oatcakes! So good that people send/take them all over (including New Zealand!!) . Personally I used to arrange shipments of a dozen dozen or so down to Hampshire in the 1980's whenever one our service guys was passing. Amazing to watch him on his Victorian giant grill plate. Lovely stuff.

Barry's has been a staple of Alsager for as long as I remember, I used to go on my lunch hour from School and love to take visitors and oatcake enthusiasts to the best around.

Can’t believe I have driven past this place loads of times and never been in before. Very nice couple who run the shop,nothing better than seeing your fresh oatcakes being cooked in front of you! Very good price,excellent oatcakes and great service.Nothing more I can say other than I will be back again. Best Oatcakes in Cheshire by a country mile !

I tried really hard to try and give this establishment 6 stars but I could only award 5. You've not tasted food if you haven't had 5 x cheese and sausage oatcakes with brown sauce and tried to shovel them into your gob with your hands whilst they're really still too hot to eat. Magnificent food.

Great to find a proper oatcake place. We had a lovely brunch and then bought some for our neighbours too! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Honestly the nicest, freshest oatcakes I have ever had. Barry always friendly. Only down side is if you go off the flyer for his opening times I think he mostly only opens for the school lunch hour as I’ve been by a few times and it’s not been open.

Introduced to Barry's oatcakes when I was at school 25 years ago and they are still as delicious as always, nothing like shop bought ones, a million times better! Great hangover cure.

I called here in late December after a visit to the Dentist. It was about 1pm and I had noticed Barry's Pantry on the way and so called in for an oatcake.What can I say ? Fantastic oatcakes made in front of you from scratch.I had a couple of sausage ones for lunch and bought a bag to take home as well and all was an amazing £2.80!I will be back and chuffed with my find.

Delicious oatcakes made as they should be ( and not as those you buy supermarkets are) and always made the same day .A delight to talk to Barry about his craft! Well worth a visit !!!

Had breakfast here on several occasions its always been excellent. Brilliant value for money can see why this has kept going for many years. Don't go to Alsager without trying Barry's Oatcakes its even worth visiting just to try them. 10/10

The shop is always busy on a sundY morning, but it's the best time to e joy them. Piping hot with whatever your hearts desires for a filling. I had bacon, mushroom, cheese n egg. Yum yum, just enough to fill me till tea time. Good quality oatcakes

Barry's Alsager Oatcake's are absolutely delicious. You can buy them filled or plain to take home. Prepare to queue at busy times but well worth the wait

If like me you're from Stoke then oatcakes and part of your DNA. Barry's are some of the best. Have them with bacon of cheese... Delicious. Part of the area's local cuisine and a must try.

We love the oatcakes from Barry's pantry all freshly cooked. They do fillings too but we always just pick up a dozen or two. We're so lucky to have this just up the road from us.
