45 mins late. Food not even hot. Soggy. Absolute joke waiting an hour and 20 mins for below par food. No chance will i order from her again.

Waited for nearly 90mins for food. Kept blaming JustEat. Staff are so abrupt. Food was below par. Last time I'll order for sure.

Batter was soggy on the onion rings (didn't eat them) and battered sausage. Chips could've been kept in another minute. Normally no complaints but tonight was below par.

Chips were lovely. Browned really well. Hard to get decent chips these days and Barr's didn't fail.

Had the most beautiful pizzas from here tonight. Would of swore it was from an actual pizza place. Def recommend

A good selection of typical chip shop food and a good selection of pizzas as well. A cash only place which is good to know before hand. Delivery option is available via food delivery apps. The food is off good quality and the portions are value for money.

2 hours for a delivery. Disgraceful. I live a 5 minute walk away. Rang after an hour and a half the girl had no idea where my order was. Could hear somebody tell her to say it was just leaving now. Took another half hour. Chips were black and soggy.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, a lot of awful reviews on here about this place. Food was nice, however there was an issue with an item. I ordered a chicken ball special with NO rice and it arrived WITH rice…. mistakes can certainly happen but it seems a regular occurrence with this place according to the reviews ☹️ the chips here were beautiful 🍟🤩

Placed an order before 7pm. Called back asking where my delivery was to br told it had just left with the driver. 10pm i am still waiting. Tried calling back several times but got no answer and now they are closed. I want a refund!

They called me first to say they sent my order to the wrong address, then when they prepared new order it arrived with hardly any chicken on the chicken box pizza and it was swimming in the sauces, my son was unable to eat the meat feast pizza either as he said it had way too much tomato paste on it, over all we could not eat the pizzas and will not be ordering again.

Placed an order at 19:43, girl who took my call had the personality of a brush, hung up on me after I said my order was complete. I called back at 9 to find out that they took the wrong address down and couldn’t reach me as the brush didn’t ask me for a contact number and told my food wasn’t coming. Good food but service is not there whatsoever, update, called Apache Pizza and the level of customer service was leagues ahead of this Stone Age establishment, don’t know how places like this is still in business honestly. As a service industry professional I’m honestly just appalled that people in 2024 still receive such poor quality of service

Disappointed sadly, ordered chip cheese and taco but it was drowned in taco and mayonnaise. Too late at night so didn't complain. One of my favourite chippys still and look forward to ordering again. The battered hotdog was beautiful by the way, thanks.

Food was nearly 2 hours late, rang after an hour and 10 mins to be told it’ll arrive in 10 mins as they’re ‘putting it on now’ only to be left waiting another half hour, whoever is in charge here of here needs to be more realistic with times or at least cancel the order if overwhelmed. Won’t order again, an actual joke especially for half decent food.

Pizza base was burnt. Very dry and tasted bland. Delivery time was good.

The incorrect order was delivered. Rang the shop and they told me they were aware of the mixup and the correct order will be delivered in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes still no food so I rang again, this time they said 10 minutes. After 20 minutes still no food so rang them. This time I was told any minute. A minute later they rang me and said that my order has been delivered 10 minutes ago, when I asked them what was the address they gave me someone else's so I asked them when can I expect the correct order. The girl on the phone told me multiple times how she is confused and that the correct food should have been delivered. I explained that's not the case and asked for an estimated time for delivery. This time I was told not long just a few more stops. 40 minutes later as of now still no sign of the food. It's been 2 hours since the time the incorrect order was delivered. I would steer clear of this place and I advise others to do the same if they don't want to be disappointed.

Great food as usual but kinda upsetting not getting my drink. Last time this happened I was told cause I ordered from just eat there was very little could be done which in my personal opinion is only putting the standard of Barr's down as o love the food. But other than that lovely chip butties and fish was nice too, good job Barr's apart from the drink 👌😉

Shop is like a dungeon and staff are a disaster. One girl taking orders actually answered a video call as I entered and continued talking while totally ignoring me. Waited 40 mins on a single bag of chips one night that turned out to be sitting on the pizza oven. It's a pity because the food and pizza is actually nice

5* food so yummy 😋 but I ordered my food at 5.20pm but had to wait 2hrs for it to be delivered. The restaurant did inform me that there was a delay AFTER ordering. Food was hot, yummy 😋 and worth it but maybe if they were experiencing alot of orders then they could have this on the just eat page BEFORE we order it (maybe information like collection only) would help their customers especially for their insulin dependent diabetic customers. Barr's food on the other hand is definitely something everyone should try as the food is gorgeous 😍

Delivery time was 35-50mins, this updated to 65-95 mins after the order was placed. Delivery took 70mins in total. Chips were soggy and greasy, battered sausages were very greasy to the point the batter was falling off them. Curry sauce was cold, comparing to the temp of the other food - don't think this had been heated prior to delivery. Taco was mixed dip, not standard taco sauce. However the chicken burgers were tasty, only part of the delivery that was enjoyable.
