Great wee cafe with traditional food and cakes. Spotlessly clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. Nice staff and quick service. Breakfast served till 2pm. Disabled toilet and disabled access.

We popped in for lunch while out shopping in Clydebank. We were seated straight away, and given a couple of menus. As on previous visits, we both opted for the 6oz burger with chunky fries, as well as sides of onion rings and coleslaw. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious. The burgers tasted delicious, and melted in the mouth. The onion rings were lovely and crisp, and the portion size was good. The coleslaw was also very nice, but the portion size was tiny. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our morning roll and sausage, decided to add a cake to finish, as the cabinet of cakes and biscuits looked very appetising, but unfortunately we were both disappointed with our treat, ( cupcake frosting was not what I expected and artificial, and the Gypsy cream was soft and again the filing was the same as cupcake) they looked so appealing, but the taste was not. Was expecting homemade not mass produced !! Shame !!!

We stopped off for a quick bite and was greeted with really friendly staff! I had the chicken & mango salad - which was just perfect in the heatwave! Rounded off with a tea and carrot cake. Although it was busy, the atmosphere was good and service was speedy - one of the girls quickly cleared up a booth for us. Overall I'd say a delightful cafe with delicious food.

Visited this restaurant a few times now, great customer service all round, fantastic selection of home made cakes , menu is great, staff all very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.

As a local "Bankie" I have visited this establishment on various occasions during a shopping trip to Clydebank (more for groceries) and whilst the food is good, although fairly basic, the standard of customer service leaves much to be desired in terms of any friendly customer interaction. My visit today however reached a low point in abject rudeness from the young(ish) woman who was on the order desk...and it seems was the self appointed sentinel of the table allocation. The sign as you enter requests that you wait to be allocated to a table.....but the reality is that there is very rarely anyone tasked to do this job as they always seem to be understaffed. On this occasion I moved to a table as there were plenty of free tables and in the past have in any event been asked which one I preferred. The reaction from the "guardian of the table" was to shout out for me to "wait until you are seated" and certainly not in any conciliatory or friendly manner. Obviously she was having a bad day but in these days when retail / leisure business need as much business as they can get this is not the way to foster customer loyalty. A fact noticed by other customers waiting to place their order. Needless to say I went elsewhere.

Staff really let this place down cos the premises are great and the food is ok for a quick lunch while out shopping. Been in a couple of times now and staff seem really disinterested and unwelcoming. Food is basic but good value for money. The Thorntons side of the shop is pretty bad. Empty shelves, unpriced goods and seems to be largely ignored. Has potential but needs a bit of a management overhaul.

My husband took his 87yr old mother Baristas as he does most weekends and as usual they ordered her a kids meal due to her appitite and age, however today we were told from now on this would not be allowed as she is not a child.Well his £30 will be spent were it is appreciated. Your shop is a disgrace

We had lunch at Baristas, and both ordered the 6oz cheeseburger, plus a portion of onion rings and a portion of coleslaw. The burgers were delicious. They have a mediterranean sort of flavour (almost like bolognaise made into burgers). The portion of onion rings were very tasty, but we were shocked at the tiny ‘portion’ of coleslaw, which came in an extremely small paper cup. Service was efficient and friendly.

Don't go shopping in Clydebank often but when I do I tend to pop in here for something to eat. Always find the food reasonable and nice but only challenge is the service can be a bit abrupt. A smile goes a long way.

I have visited here numerous times over the last few years and it has always been good food at reasonable prices. Recently I have noticed a change for the worst especially breakfast, eggs and bacon undercooked sausage burnt and hard. Poor service from staff , I felt like we were bothering them just by wanting to order. Disappointed and won't be back anytime soon.

Looked inviting from outside, but indoors was a different matter! Surly disinterested staff, loud noisy ambience and the coffee was so dire we couldn't drink it. Would have been better at McDonalds! This was my first visit and it will be the last.

We visited Baristas for lunch, prior to going to the cinema. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the waitress pulled another table over, to give us more room (the tables are big enough if you are just having a coffee, but a bit on the small side if you are having a meal). We both ordered the 6oz Angus Cheeseburgers, and a side of Onion Rings. My partner ordered chunky chips, and I had skinny fries. The burgers were well seasoned, and were delicious. The fries and onion rings were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were generous, and looking around, other dishes also appeared to be a decent size. In terms of value for money, I would say that Baristas is very good. I have paid more elsewhere for burgers that aren’t half as good. Service was also very good.

Numerous times i have went in now staff just stand and chat before serving over priced especially for juice yeah the tax has went up on sugary drinks but seriously nearly £3 for a wee bottle of SUGARFREE irn bru only plus point is the soup is nice

Lovely coffee shop. Good selection of cakes and great coffee. They serve lunches also but haven't tried any dishes yet.

Great staff. Great menu at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The best I've tasted. Also get tablet with tea and coffee. Well worth a visit.

This is an amazing little place, right in the middle of the Clydebank shopping center. When u r in the middle of shopping and in need of something to give u a boost, pop in here. They do soups, meals, teas and coffees, cakes and even alcohol! It is beautifully decorated, the toilets r so clean, and the kitchen is in full view so u can see the chefs working. Everything is so tasty and the portion sizes r great.

Popped into doing some shopping in Clydebank and went for lunch having been before a few months ago to this establishment. Once again setting a table was easy, food was good and prices reasonable. Service OK.

First time visit under new management. Really impressed with menu and prices. Friendly staff. Only negative was the cutlery had seen better days but keeping it in perspective mistakes happen. Ideal place for coffee or lunch.

I have eaten here on a few occasions for lunch. Each time tasty food with good choice and reasonable prices. It is always busy with plenty of polite staff on hand. You have to wait to be seated and there is a small Thornton's chocolate shop within this eaterie. I have tried the baked potatoe with Tuna and the Cajun chicken with salad and fries but all food looks good. Small toilets at the back but clean and tidy enough. Good location with shopping centre. Would recommend and return. Thanks

I regularly go to baristas with my gran, and have done since it first opened as sutherlands. At first we were both very pleased with the food and staff, however recently we have thought standards have slipped. We went in for breakfast this morning. When our food arrived, we noticed that both our fried eggs were not cooked properly, (the white still raw). When the woman came over to us, I said to her about the eggs being raw and her reply was, you need to ask for your eggs to be flipped at the till in future or you should have told me earlier and I would have changed them for you. We weren't looking for a refund or any extra treatment, a simple apology was all that was needed but we didn't even get that. We are really disappointed because we used to love coming into the cafe, but won't be returning.

My husband and I have been here many times for lunch and they have a great menu which suits all tastes. The service is very good and the prices aren't bad. There is also a Thorntons shop in the store so you can spoil yourself there too!!

This is in the shopping centre..This has lots of seating throughout.You wait to be seated although staff were not in a hurry.We had to get a menu then you place your order at the counter and pay at the same time.There is lots on the menu from snacks,sandwiches to fish & chips..lots of desserts and lots of drinks too.The staff are friendly serving the food and always clearing tables..The food was good.This is newly decorated and toilets are fairly clean.No staff come over to check on your table later if We needed anything else or if it was ok..or if you wanted to see the menu again..overall very good..if they upgrade customer service this will be excellent..

I believe this used to be sutherlands , name now changed to Baristas , its located in phase 3 of the Clyde shopping centre , used to go here for breakfasts , I believe they also sell ice cream now , give it a go you wont be disappointed .

Husband and I were shopping Clydebank and looking for some substance 1st visit since change of name. Not much change from previous, large bright room although you now order at counter. I had a chicken mayo baguette served with coldslaw and a few crisps, lots of chicken and its was very tasty. Husband went for cheese and ham toasty again coldslaw and crisps. 2 lattes no complaints. Their kitchen is at rear which is open to restaurant. Husband left to go to shop Leaving me to finish coffee my eyes wander to kitchen male appeared to be emptying something from plastic tub into container and promptly sneezed directly on to what he was doing! No attempt to cover his mouth. hygienic not. Score 5 dropped to 3

I ordered a burger and it was more like a hockey puck, couldn't eat it. Chips were cold. Coffee was the only good thing we got.

Was greeted by a happy and enthusiastic young lady named Alex we were seated very quickly and informed thoroughly of how to order drinks and food I ordered a caramel macchiato which was explicitly mouth watering and the lovely young lady Alex checked on us and made light but delightful conversation. Will definitely come back and visit Alex's bubbly beautiful smile was enough to inform me of how welcome we were

I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent

Went in today I'm normally a Costa person but fancied some food was welcomed by smiley waitresses who where lovely to myself and my elderly father and the chefs where more than happy to cater to my fussy father I will definitely be returning again as for an extremely busy restaurant the girls were very friendly the assistant manager was really nice at the till.

Visited this wee cafe today with my mother and two children. Was greeted by a lovely bubbly woman at the door who seated us in a booth and gave us menu's and advised us to order at the till where we were served by the manager who was more than helpful. She helped us choose an approriate meal for my mother as she has a wheat allergy. Kids meals were well portioned and the chilli is to die for. All staff were really friendly and helpful and the toilets are spotless. Also good to have a glass of wine with my lunch which i wasnt aware they sold alcohol. All round fantastic family feel about the place. I will definetely be back keep up the good work girls!!

went in to this Restaurant today for 1st time as from southside service and food was excellent and great value .I took doggy bag home with me will be returning

Welcomed in and they accommodated for the baby buggy and ran to get us a high chair and moved seats together to make room for us. Portions and prices very good and tasty. Cakes were amazing.

we visit regularly and there is always a friendly and cheery welcome from the staff, a good quick service and the food is freshly made to order with excellent value.

A certain staff member was unbelievably rude, and ignored us when a called them three times.. food was dry as if it's either been waiting too long under heat.. the food must have all been cooked in the same pan as eggs where unbelievably covered in dark looking oil which made the eggs diffrent colour that white! Horrible dry

I go here regularly and it's a pleasure to be welcomed and served by friendly staff. The food is also good and served fresh and quickly.

Was in here today with a friend and they were serving Christmas lunch for £6.95 which was excellent value and the food was very tasty and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and service was good and prompt.

Quick brunch here during a mini shopping expedition. Premises reconfigured since last visit and much more comfortable. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food hot,good and most enjoyable. Must make this a regular stopping off point.

Nice place to eat or just have a tea or coffee. Great selection on menu and plenty of choices for something tasty to have with your drink. Veg curry and Chow Mein on the low calorie section of the menu were great. Good portion size and value. Staff very pleasant. Clean toilets which is always a good sign.

Visited here before with a friend and had a lovely lunch pity today's experience wasn't as good. Waited to be seated but no one came so everyone in front of us sat down and we did the same. Had to source our own menus then go up to the counter to order. Bit disappointed with the waiting time for food although it was tasty when it came X soup which was lentil and a sandwich deal. Lunch was spoilt a bit by the staff in the place having a bit of a disagreement in front of customers.

I have lunched in this establishment on different occasions with different people and was impressed with the service,the menu,and staff.Nothing is too much bother to them . smiling and chatty.The only downside would be the manageress who should take a tip from her staff on dealing with the public.The pictures on the wall took me down memory lane,as I worked in Clydebank more than 50yrs ago..Although it was very busy the place was spotless.they also do a variety of coffees which are delicious.I have never seen such a variety of icream that is available here.

Myself and my family were shopping at the Clydebank shopping centre on Saturday 20th August. We popped into Thorntons chocolatier just across from Mc donalds and were pleasantly surprised at the Baristas cafe/Restaurant. It was a nice change to have home cooked family food in a nice surrounding. The menu had everything you needed for a lovely lunch and great prices. The staff were welcoming and the service was efficient. We will defiantly eat here again as we probably had the best soup( just like your gran makes) and the best cheese macaroni i have ever tasted. Yum..

Out shopping and dropped in for a much needed coffee and wasn't disappointed . I had a latte and a delicious Carmel shortcake. Haven't had a meal here but all the food looked lovely! Staff were very pleasant. Will be back.

The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The food is great and they have the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Definitely would recommend.

Went for lunch with my nephew who loves there kids chicken nugget meals and i had the tuna pasta witch was amazing and staff are really friendly and couldnt be any more attentive to our table will deffo be back soon.

I was in this restaurant recently with my partner and children. I ordered curry from the low calorie menu, it was delicious and well presented. My partner ordered a cheeseburger he was very happy with this also. Both kids thought their pasta was very tasty .

The food is lovely, well proportioned and well presented. I enjoy going although some of the staff are impolite and slightly rude but other staff are very friendly and always smile when serving and like to get to know customers. The menu is full of food I would love to try and the even have healthy options which is a good thing for restraunts in clydebank.

I was in the cafe the other day with my partner and the staff were kind and friendly my partner had the Cajun pasta which she really enjoyed and complimented that the chef had made it perfect...I myself just had soup and sandwich which was lovely the soup is so nice I had the ham lentil and it was best I had in a long time...the floor staff were also very kind and helpful so all in all my experience was good and will definitely be back again..

Baristas is one of my favourite places to eat in Clydebank. Food is always nice and staff are always friendly. Food and drink is very reasonably priced too.

Went in for lunch today food was lovely. Just didn't like the fact the staff were coughing over the cutlery we have to use to eat. Chef was also in the kitchen coughing without covering his mouth or washing his hands at the same time as being on his phone. Not very professional.

I just visited Baristas with a friend for coffee. They serve very nice coffee and what appears to be home made bakes in modern surroundings. I had a slice of the fruit cake, nice and moist.
