Bar TCR in Camden

Was staying close by for work and looking for somewhere for a relaxed solo evening meal on a Monday night after travelling. TCR fit the bill - very friendly welcome and service. A classic English pub menu free of gimmicks. And - they know how to cook! I had chicken thigh cutlets and mash, the chicken was done just right and everything on the plate was good. Will definitely go back if I have the chance.

I had agreed to meet a friend from Amsterdam outside Heals on Tottenham Court Road. Would the restaurant be shut on Bank Holiday Monday? It was. However, very near by was The Bar TCR. It was open. We sat outside in the sunshine and drank red wine and ate Chicken Caesar salads. The 2 members of staff were lovely. The Bar TCR is the perfect place to remember good times spent with someone you have known for 25 years.

We were staying in the area so called in for drinks. Great selection of draught beers, staff were friendly and helpful. Tonight we had food, I had the TCR burger, husband the fish and chips. The burger was delicious, best burger I’ve had for a long time. Husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. Both meals came with a huge side of chips. Pity we are flying home tomorrow, otherwise we would be back. Thanks guys!

Suppose to be fine dining food was not cooked properly half cold mash was lumpy and luke warm even though it was microwaved would not recommend this place mcdonalds can do better

I have been to TCR a few times in the last few years, I had not been in a while but went last night with a friend. The bar staff were extremely rude and the drinks are over priced. We had a terrible experience, and I certainly will not be going back to this place.

Stopped off by chance here in passing for a drink. Charged us twice but now it’s impossible to get through to them. Emails are bouncing back and no one answers the phone number from their website.

Dropped in for a late drink as Google Maps said it was open till 1am. The bar staff called last orders at 12.40 but when we went to order we were told ALL the beer lines were being cleaned. Obviously CBA and wanted to clear off home early. I wonder if the owner is aware.

Went with a work group. Had a tab at the bar which charged many extra drinks (approx 20) that were not ours - bill was 2x what we ordered (£600 instead of 300). Bill was corrected on questioning but Its hard to explain how such a mistake could be made.

From the moment we walked in the lady behind the bar (forgive me if I'm mistaken but perhaps she's South African?) greeted us with a very friendly smile that never left her face from each interaction between us for the whole time that we were there. It was service professionally delivered without any fuss, attentiveness without being over-bearing. The burger & pizza were worth paying more than the £15 deal for and my girlfriend's cocktail was lovely by all accounts!

This is my favourite spot in london. The vibe is always unmatched🤞The bartenders are the best in the business. The cocktails are delicious (would recommend the french martini and strawberry fields)

Went to TCR pub for work drinks Left my work bag there by mistake Got home and realised I phoned TCR and spoke to Daisy who was so great . She looked for it after the pub had closed and located it . A big thanks to her for being so dillegent and great customer care.

Nice drinking area and all and the food looked good, but the cocktails were far from impressive. None of the cocktails tasted remotely alcoholic and after drinking many of them none of our group was feeling the effect. It seems they skimped on putting alcohol in the drinks to save money. Was not a great experience.

I didn't eat anything special, the drinks were good,,if you go out with friends it is a place where you can feel good

Such a good night out - food, drinks & music wise. Have been a few times, and would definitely recommend to anybody in the area. Shoutout especially to the bar man Tom who was super helpful and made sure me and my friends had everything we needed :). Thank you guys!

Bonito bar en TCR. Especialmente bueno para tomar un trago rápido después del trabajo y antes de regresar a casa. Por lo general, están bastante llenos, tienen una pequeña área de jardín en la parte posterior, pero conseguir una mesa aquí puede ser difícil. Servicio rapido . Though I ordered the pepperoni pizza, my 3 friends ordered the fish and chips. The fish was delivered 30 minutes after my friends got their fish. Food was... ok. Because the bartender was such a great guy... I don’t want to complain too much. 3 of us ordered the Hendricks special. Rose buds? Cool!!

Regularly visit this Pub/Lounge, great place to meet and enjoy the food and drinks. The hospitality of the staff is great and very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this Pub/Lounge to anyone who wants some nice food and drinks and chill out.

Found this pub during our regular visits to the hospital, so have used a couple of times and will do again in the future, visit today on 24th June was met with lovely food and absolutely brilliant service, the girl that served us was so bubbly and attentive.... would definitely recommend

Minä tilasin elämäni ensimmäisen fish & chips -annoksen ja pidin siitä. Mieheni söi hampurilaisen ja ranskalaiset ja kehui erinomaiseksi. Olimme lounasaikaan syömässä, eikä paikalla ollut muita ruokailijoita. Siksi palvelu oli mielestäni aavistuksen hidasta, koska odotin että ei olisi pitkään tarvinnut odottaa ollessamme ainoat ruokailijat.

We popped in here after an appointment nearby. Good friendly knowledgeable service at the bar. No real ale. Plenty of seating inside and out. good atmosphere. loos downstairs ,very clean.

Fuimos allí después de una cita. El lugar estaba lleno de gente que caen con después del trabajo. Precioso lugar, servicio rápido, precioso Pizza. Pensamos que lo tome media casa, estaba tan sabroso, terminó. Camarera era fantástica, creo que su nombre era Sam. Nos quedamos encantados con la visita.

Desafortunadamente, nunca probé la comida (planeando) pero he tomado varias copas y cócteles, siempre muy bien hechos. El personal siempre es muy amable. Es un bar muy tranquilo en el medio de una zona concurrida. Este es uno de los pocos bares en Londres donde puedes tener una conversación. ¡Realmente me gusta y espero que sigamos viniendo aquí para nuestras reuniones!

Pasamos una tarde entera tomando bebidas en este popular pub, ¡así que no podría haber sido tan malo! ! Esta fue nuestra primera noche en Londres y en nuestro camino a la ciudad de China se llamaba a este bar/salón. Mesas afuera que nos satisfizo. Fui al bar y me pareció que yo era el más antiguo allí por al menos 40 años. Aún así, el personal del bar era muy servicial y me dio el vino que pedí. Eran grandes measurers Boy. La hospitalidad, excelente. Medidas de vino excepcional.

Gran lugar. No pretende ser Fitzrovia todos muy guay. TCR es muy modesto y personal encantador muy buena comida. Un sitio para pasarla bien. Siempre fue muy amable y acogedor, y muy buena relación calidad-precio. En la lista desplegable bombo olvide TCR.

Vino para el almuerzo, ya que estábamos en la zona y que tenían una oferta de fin de semana de dos hamburguesas o pizza por £12. 95. Las hamburguesas eran muy buenas y los aros de cebolla como un lado estaban bien. Sesión de nada pero era bonita por dentro y el servicio era bueno y rápido!

It has a pub feeling to it. I had a pizza there, it was nice. Prices are normal for this part of the city. Service was fast. They have a nice terrace at the back that was sunny at lunch.

Been here many times now and have to give these guys a huge shout out.. amazing friendly service, great food, lovely drinks and a lovely place to be in. Great secret garden in the middle of touristy London, catered for a large group within minutes! Great stuff!!

LGBT+ UnfriendlyI say this as the two times I wen to the bar (I am MtF transgender) the (I think)French/Belgium barman with the ponytail specifically overlooked me & hopped over to the next person the other side-this lady was definitely after me as she was my colleague & I'd waved her over as I wasn't getting served by bar staff on the first pass. & then the second time he even held his palm of his hand up to me & hopped to the person the otherside-unfortunately not my colleague. I know the bar was busy but it's not as if I'm unnoticeable! I also waited 10-15minutes at the front of the cram at the bar, I was clearly left waiting & even my colleagues I was with noticed it.Unhappy at this poor display of service & 'some' of the staff need a bit of diversity training, I will be recommending somewhere else to my colleagues next time we have a works do.:-(

Buen ambiente y amigable Staff. Los fish&chips de calidad y a buen precio. Excelente parada en un día de visitas. También puede servir de fin de fiesta (pide un coctel!). Tiene terraza en el interior alejada del bullicio de la calle. Merece la pena.

This place may be great for a drink after work but for a family meal. No!!!!!We were a group of 6 looking for a quick meal after a day of sightseeing around London. Three generations from 70's down to teenage boys. Of the 6 meals ordered over 50% was left on the plate. Everything was deep fried and gluggy. Nothing wrong with the drinks but once you've got a mouth lined with fat nothing tastes nice. It's cheap enough but you get what you pay for. In a larger eating area we were the only ones eating which gives you an indication that this is not a great after work eatery. The bar area was packed so if you are walking past. Drop in for a drink by all means but give the dining experience a miss.

I work on Tottenham Court Road and this is always my bar of choice. Plenty of space. 2 outdoor areas.Great selection of drinks including cocktailsAnd brilliant staffCant go wrong !

We decided to pop in on our way to the station and we were greeted with a friendly smile by a staff member who showed us the table. Although the place was busy the service was excellent. The staff members were very good and attentive. We had fish and chips and a cheese burger and chips which all came in generous potions on those wooden trays. The food was nicely presented and very delicious. We will surely come back when in the area.

good atmosphere, great service. I would defiantly recommend this place, its not too expensive for a london bar, during the lunchtime its a good place to chill out.

We had dinner 2 times in November, perfect beers and wine...delicious dishes and most of all great service, specially the Spanish waitress , lovely :*...I forgot the music...excellent!!!!

Visited this place with a friend on Friday night. We arrived early to secure a table as this is a popular place with local workers and students. There is a good selection of beverages including one of the cheapest cocktails I have come across in London outside happy hour. Despite the place being busy with Christmas parties the staff was able to serve us at our table. They were very friendly and efficient. Food is also available but our chicken Caesar salads were very bland although the pizzas for the table nearby looked and smelled delicious. Overall a no-frills drinks destination if you are in the area.

Came here for a friends birthday and had a great time. Didn't have any food but by my friends comments, it was quite tasty and well presented. The service was quite good for a busy bar in the west end on a Saturday night, attentive and fast with very reasonable drink prices.Great atmosphere especially when you sit in the back garden.

Came here as it was one of the few places open on Tottenham Court late at night for drinks only, and that served soft drinks. The inside smoking area is very smart and quite trendy, and the front outdoor area is spacious and clean too. The main internal area lets the place down a bit, it feels very ordinary and it could be any pub anywhere. Staff friendly, drinks decent.

Amazing garden and atmosphere they making delicious Italian pizza traditional English breakfast was really big portion fresh fish and chips very good service.. Thanks a lot

Went to this restaurant in October. To start off with I wondered what we had walked into as both of us very hungry .Had a very pleasant surprise Food very good. Could not fault the staff and priced very reasonably

We went here for an evening snack and some drinks. We sat in the beautiful back garden, with a relaxed atmosphere. Very good food, drinks and service. There is free wifi as well!

We came here for drinks once as a very large group - there was about 20 of us and there wasn't anywhere to sit. The queues were long and they took ages to serve drinks. We didn't try the food though I must admit so I guess i'll have to do a thorough review again once I've eaten there.

We waited over 45 mins for our food at lunchtime. Asked the wait staff several times how long it would be as we needed to get back to work and they would not tell us!Atmosphere not great either. Food ok, bog standard bar food. Good cocktails though.

Very good atmosphere, very good service, excellent food. We were so pleased to find this bar, just around the corner from our hotel. The Butternut Squash and Goats Cheese Salad was amazing! Highly recommended.
