Amazing drinks, have been twice and maybe it’s pricier than average - the attention to detail, excellent service, creative drinks (and both times we’ve been, exemplary live music) have made it worth it ☺️

We hired the place for 21st birthday celebration and it was honestly amazing. The service was incredible and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Everyone had a great time and everything ran so smoothly. Drinks were great and the space was perfect too. Live music was lovely too! Big thank you to Jess, Sean and the gorgeous woman who fooled the birthday man!! Thank you everyone!

My review never got saved the first time I wrote it, so the fact that I am willing to write another only for the sole fact that this place deserves it speaks for itself. The people there are great, I'm talking about the servers, the bar keeper. They are charming, funny, accommodating, witty, and all-around great people. As we walked in, we were offered a location upon the request from my partner for a secluded place or one that would be the least, in the way of the people that would frequent here. We were told to take our time, that we can ask for reduced alcohol or none at all, and, when we asked if they served food, they told us they do not serve food BUT... we could order our own food, and they would keep an eye out on it for us. That alone is so awesome ❤️ They didn't even need to ask us how it was. They still asked if it was good. Impeccable service. My partner told me that there were female hygiene products in the women's bathroom, which is terrific. A diffuser up on the wall to keep the fresh scent. Major brownie points all around, especially for these 2 points alone If I lived in Cambridge, I would come here often ❤️

They don't serve food, but I still put a 5 star for it, considering they allow you to order food to the place! The staff was absolutely lovely, incredibly friendly and helpful people, not to mention fun! The atmosphere there to me was exceptional, nothing but mood lighting in different nice and warm colours. Even on a monday evening they had live music that befitted this super cozy and viby place ❤️ Even the bathrooms there was great. In the ladies bathroom they had pads and tampons, some rituals products like soap and smelling sticks and a diffuser mounted at the wall. Over all a 10/10 experience for me, the board/drinking games, games and consoles too brought you right back! To the hangouts you'd have with your friends way back when 🥰 Loved it! I'll definitely come back to Cambridge only because of this place.

Cool-vibes bar! The cocktails are super fun and quite unexpected when it comes to presentation…I was tempted to take couple of glasses home with me (I didn’t! 😄). Not sure if you can actually purchase some of the glasses they serve the drinks in, but it would be cool if they had the option to purchase the glasses :) And on top of the fun drinks, you can play video games too. They have a bunch of consoles available at the tables, with nice selection of games to choose from. Definitely worth a visit! 😎

The place is a great idea and the staff were otherwise lovely, but I ordered a drink which did not have any mention of milk/cream in its contents on the menu, and I'm plant-based and lactose intolerant, so I naturally complained when I saw it had cream. The waiter agreed to change it for me, and asked if anyone would still like to have it. Thinking he meant they're going to throw it away so if we wanted it we could keep it for free, my friend agreed to have it. When the bill came, it was on it. I asked the waiter about it and he said we still drank it, so we had to pay for it. I think that's pretty unfair as my friend wouldn't have taken it had she known. If the allergens are not listed on the menu, it's not fair to make someone pay for the bar's mistake. And had it been made clear to us that keeping it meant paying for it, my friend might have chosen a different option. But the unwillingness of the staff to offer to take it off was the bit that I found unfair. Update: I'm sadly updating my review to a 1-star one as I received a response from the bar I should have asked for allergens. You missed to include the fact your cocktail has dairy cream, one of the MAJOR allergens (when you said it contains maraschino cherries, which it had two tiny pieces of, for example), and you are trying to make this the fault of your customers? Oh, to add to this, it also had a marshmallow, which likely contains gelatin...

This was a brilliant place. Great venue with live music. Old consoles were great. Shame about the super sticky tables at our 5:30pm table... Toilets were very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and service was decent.

First time coming to Cambridge with my missus and wow this place is so cool man, great atmosphere and great service, especially Tag he was amazing with his time. He made us feel comfortable when there was a loud rowdy table next to us reassuring us we could sit somewhere more quiet but never the less we still wanted to remain where we was.he also gave us a tour of the place and customer experience was superb, made us feel welcomed and chilled out ! Will come back and well recommend if you want something back to the old school days of retro game consoles. Thank you

Visited Cambridge for a day and was recommended this place after eating at la razza and what a recommendation it was. Really stunning venue. Live music was incredible. Was really cool to see talented people swapping in and out and all getting inspired from one another. Atmosphere was really good, clearly a lot of regulars attend but everyone was really friendly and it felt really inclusive. Service was spot on. Would come back to Cambridge just for another night in this bar.

The best club in Cambridge! Old ps1, ps2, Xbox, pac man, guitar hero this is the night for cool cocktails and a game of games all night. We had the best night celebrating the new year in here and back in July for my 30th with friends. I love this bar!

Vibe is great, drinks are great, staff were wonderful. Had a solo singer performing today who unfortunately didn’t match the up-beat vibe in this bar

Absolutely amazing night, will definitely be back. We visited for a quick drink before our train and ended up staying for hours. Amazing choice of fun themed drinks, live music, wide variety of games to choose from. The staff were all SO helpful and welcoming, providing some of the best customer service you could ask for in addition to being highly talented performers. Vibe and interior were incredible, we cannot recommend this place enough.

Had a great work social here and the bar was quiet on Monday so we basically had the upstairs to ourselves! Staff were friendly and helpful, and we didn't run out of things to play over about 2 hours. We played Mario Kart on the Wii, Simpsons Hit and Run on PS2, Guitar Hero on XBox, PacMan, Street Fighter, Space Invaders etc... there was also a good supply of party games like Cards Against Humanity. First cocktail I had was amazing but then the slushy machine broke, real shame as other cocktails weren't as good, caramel espresso martini was nice though. Facilities were lovely too with nice soap.

TAG - what a guy, the man was dealing with every single table from bottom to top level and did it with immaculate service, funny and relax - never looked stressed or phased by the amount of people. Katie was great as well ensuring the customers were seating appropriately and she had great banter as well. Although I visit Bar -OH as often as I can, I recently realised that I haven’t written a review since it opened! I’m overdue in thanking the staff and owner for going the extra mile every time I visit to make it an outstanding experience. As you can see from the photos I’ve attached to this review, I love trying the various concoctions on the menu (especially when a shark is involved), but something I also really appreciate is the bar staff’s willingness to create off-menu variations on the classics to suit my particular tastes (almost always involving margaritas). Echoing so many other reviewers, the drinks are not only delicious but also presented beautifully (leading to the best-ever bar photos, especially if Pepper the Robot – or, again, a shark – is featured). I also really enjoy the live music sessions and the opportunity to play so many retro games for free. My only complaint is that so far I haven’t had the opportunity to try Guitar Hero, because it’s a bit too popular with other visitors. I need to be more ruthless in grabbing a seat… Anyway, thank you to my favourite bar for making every visit so memorable.

Decent little spot in town. They had a live band on the night we went. Bar staff were quality and super helpful. Little bit pricy but you expect that when going to a cocktail bar. Little cheeky pot of popcorn with your drinks which is nice. Good atmosphere in the place with plenty of tables. Worth a visit for sure!

I really wanted this place to be amazing and from reading previous reviews I was excited to come to this cocktail bar. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who found us a place despite not having booked ahead of time. The atmosphere was fantastic with live music and the table-top games and retro console vibes were great. Unfortunately everything turned for the worse when we ordered our first cocktails, which were frankly put pretty awful. They had little to no alcohol content with a mixture of fairly sickly juices. Despite the appealing presentation of the drinks, we assumed maybe it was a bad batch or choice so decided to order a different cocktail. This one came with artificial smoke and a whole presentation set that was jungle / shark themed. Despite the very appetising reveal this cocktail tasted even worse than the first two. The only way to describe the taste was a combination of artificial smoke and detergent flavoured water, with a distinct lack of alcoholic content. It gives me no pleasure to give this location such a poor review as it had all the elements to be fantastic, so it is a shame that the cocktails were tailored towards Instagram / TikTok viewers rather than actual customers with taste buds..

We had a table for 7, the staff were very attentive and friendly, making sure our drinks were always topped up! A great laugh too playing some retro games against your mates, will definitely be coming back

Crazy money for just a drink. Obviously is focused around cocktails, but even seem like they did deals. Just a can of cider was £7. Otherwise, atmosphere was pleasant but not incredible and service was stellar.

I’ve left five stars on food despite even knowing of they offer it because this place deserves five stars for everything - a relaxed bar, gaming at tables for everything you can imagine. Wish I could take this format to every place I went to, because it’s just awesome. Highly recommend if you’re a gamer of any age, and if you like brilliant cocktails.

Came in whilst visiting Cambridge for the weekend. We’d seen Bar OH online and it seemed like a fun and vibrant place to go for drinks and live music as well as some retro gaming - so we booked! We arrived and gave our name, only to discover that we were meant to call as well as book if we wanted a table with a games console (nowhere on the website did it state this?). We sat at our table, ordered some drinks and scoured the area to see how everything worked. We managed to switch onto a gaming table with a PS1, but the games were absolutely awful. All of them were driving/racing games, and half of them didn’t work or the cartridges were missing from the cases. When the drinks arrived, my friend had opted for a fancy cocktail in a ceramic ice-cream cone. It looked amazing, but tasted absolutely dreadful. I tried a sip and honestly couldn’t have had any more. We asked to return it and they changed her drink to something palatable which we were grateful for. After an hour, we realised our only hope of getting some gaming done was to make friends with someone and slide in on their table, which we did and got a few games of Mario Kart in. Overall, we wouldn’t come back here as it was incredibly unorganised and the table situation was a disappointment. The drinks are expensive, which we wouldn’t mind if at least they tasted nice and lived up to their ‘premium’ listing on the menu.

I am quite disappointed with the treatment I received when I got served the wrong drink after I ordered a diet coke and I got handed a double vodka with diet coke (someone else in group ordered it). I had two gin cocktails at a previous bar and unfortunately for me, I cannot mix liquors or I will get sick. I took a sip of the diet coke the staff handed me after confirming just plain diet coke and immediately knew it had alcohol in it as it made my mouth water in a bad way. Unfortunately for me, instead of the guy owning his mistake of giving me an alcoholic drink, he pulled one of my colleagues aside to talk about my comments ( I was pretty pissed) and spoke about potentially kicking me out for being drunk. Another colleague was able to explain what exactly happened but at no time did he apologize or come talk to me about the situation. Thankfully the lovely lady that took our order, got me a water trying to help the situation. I can see where this environment can be pretty cool for the gaming nostalgia, whilst offering a unique bar experience. As for me, I will now be up very late trying to not vomit in my bed. A simple sorry goes a long way... If it helps, the guys with my group absolutely loved this bar and has visited it frequently thus far, am hoping my experience is one off. Am literally posting this within an hr of my experience.

Me and my boyfriend went there for our anniversary and it was the best decision we made, we were greeted with a smile and felt so welcomed. The atmosphere was lovely, good music, really attentive staff explained the menu and their really exotic cocktails. The games were so fun to play, there was a variety to choose from. Deffo recommend it and deffo coming back.

It's not just the gaming that makes this spot unique, but the inventive drinks menu. The drinks are really different and funny, but they're also very sweet. Sometimes, they even have live music!

The host Tag was a friendly gentleman who welcomed the group I was traveling with. I enjoyed the arcade nostalgia theme. Definitely would recommend for good drinks and a fun time.

Booked 2 days before and had a great time… got a table upstairs and the service was amazing as well as the cocktails. My only issue is we didn’t get a video game table after saying when I booked it that my partner loved video games. We ended up playing a game on my phone and then leaving an hour into our 3 hour booking. We asked if we could play a video game at a different table whilst the other table was free and we were told that we could only play the board games. Overall a great night, just wished we could have had a video game.

Had some amazing drinks here this evening, staff were lovely especially lady on the door. Was great to see her and the manager turn away some rude old women who were rude to staff and threatening to ruin their business lol handled brilliantly

Visited Bar-OH as part of a Christmas trip for the company. Was absolutely perfect with great cocktails and atmosphere. Service was professional and friendly .Everyone had a great time. Would definitely recommend. Please note no food available on site but we were encouraged to order in - so couldn't have done any more to help.

I love to base my reviews off the toilets, because in my belief a good quality restaurant and bar always has a beautiful bathroom. This one was top notch. 10/10

What a superb concert - live music & retro games on two floors. So much fun! Great atmosphere, cocktails and games... not too crowded, easy to book a table & super friendly staff. Definitely recommend a drop in on a visit to Cambridge.

Bar-OH is so much fun. The cocktail list is inventive and full of surprises. They'll also make any of the standard fare. Classic game consoles at many of the tables are a fun addition and some nights there is live music. They don't offer food but are happy, within reason, for you to bring food in or have it ordered to the bar. It's not the cheapest place but it's well worth the occasional visit.

A true Retro gaming experience, and a home away from home. On Tuesdays you'll find live music and jam sessions, where you can join in. Overall this place is a great time almost any day of the week. Cons: Only 1 Guitar Hero hero section, often requiring to book in advance. No food other than bar snacks.

I would highly recommend this bar! Welcomed upon arrival. The interior is classy, stylish yet retro. Completely unique cocktail with a wow factor for each. Classic cocktails can be made upon request to which these are made to perfection. Every style of classic consol you can imagine, with live music on the weekend. The host and check ins from the staff made us feel very welcomed throughout. Thank you to the Bar-OH wait and bar tean for a fantastic evening. We'll be back very soon!

This place was alot of fun. Amazing service and some amazing cocktails. If you like board games and old school gaming then definitely come here. We played guess who (classic) then went on n64 for Mario kart and finished with street fighter on a Nintendo supernez. They also have DJ and live music on some nights. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Great bar period. If you love vintage consol games and quirky equipment definitely drop by for a pint or an exquisite cocktail.

First time going and can safely say will definitely be returning. The drinks were perfectly made with fantastic themes and flavours on top of that they were consistent once we had found our favourite!, the staff were friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable about the menu but they were not hanging around but always seemed to appear whenever you needed anything at all. The concept of the entire bar is perfect and I wish there were more of these slightly closer to home for me. If your reading this and not sure about booking a table, do it! 100% worth it and guarantee you will be gutted to leave.

Excellent range of cocktails and good variety of retro video games to play. We were there on a Friday day night and there was a small band playing some good covers. Excellent service by the staff and were very accommodating when we had to move tables. Had a really good time there and will definitely go again!

Great Bar! Came for the live music, stayed for the cocktails and great service! I was on a roadtrip, and found this bar while I was looking up Live music. The cocktails are fantastic. Been looking for a great cocktail back in The netherlands, but this quality is hard to Find!
