The Vegan witch in Cambridge

We came into Cambridge last week and really wanted VeganWitch to be a goto place. Unfortunately it’s not for us. The pub is dark and not very welcoming and this food looks like Playdough. Sorry guys but we will stick with Thrive.

Just amazing. Every single dish I've tried so far has been delicious. It's all vegan and there is a special gluten-free menu available if you go in person. The chef is so lovely, welcoming and aware of dietary requirements. Special shout-out to the gulash and the veganara, both heart-warming and full of flavour!

Hands down the best vegan food in Cambridge! I've tried a few items on the menu and all were incredible. I've been a vegan for a little while and restaurants of this quality and taste are rare, especially in the UK. If you haven't tried it, even if you're not vegan, you're missing out!

I'm not vegan but this is the only vegan place where I eat. Simply exceptional food, incredibly tasty with lots of care put into the choice of ingredients and sustainability. Classic recipes and innovative adaptations. Plus the witch is super friendly, truly magic!

Finally!!We found a proper vegan place where to eat! It's inside the Six Six Bar,so please,don't judge a book from the cover make a step in and you won't regret!The lovely couple who welcome us are so nice,they are both chef and you can tell from the first bite! Most of the food comes from the italian tradition..I can't believe we could finally taste again a great parmigiana and the vegan version of the"Carbonara". The portions are generous and the taste just incredible. We also had their fantastic home made focaccia (the one with the nduja and the caprese)and even we were full we wanted to try their strawberry's cheescake and the tiramisù..delicious! It was a great surprise to realise that they cook almost everything from scratch and they take care about the quality and the origin of the ingredients. Great plus for us: every human beings,animals and our planet were respected in the making of our lunch :) We'll come back here soon!

Experience to have, for vegans and non-vegans! The dishes are delicious and plentiful. There is a wide choice, even of desserts. Serena is very nice, helpful and highly qualified and you can feel it on the palate. It also has an e-shop where you can buy artisanal products, such as cheeses, which it produces and uses in its dishes. If I could give 20 stars, I would have given them. Very good (also the husband), when we return, I will gladly come back.

This is one of the best Vegan Italian food I have had. Serena is a wonderful chef and her cheese tastes like the Manchego cheese I used to have as a child when I was vegetarian. Since being vegan this is the first time I have tasted a cheese equivalent or better . I would definitely recommend this place and the food is absolutely delicious and creative.

I'm not vegan, but I love trying new things. I go to this venue quite often and I really wanted to try the food. It was SO GOOD! I was recommended the Veganara (Vegan Carbonara) and it was amazing. The vegan bacon tasted like bacon! Like... how? Also, the selection of vegan cheeses are delicious. I never thought vegan food could be so good! 100% recommend!

The 4 of us loved it! Definitely coming again. My dad really liked the food, which I've only heard him say one other time.

All I can say is wow. Such an amazing, friendly vibe! The food was incredible and to find out the cheeses are handmade is great! I had the Ouija board and I really enjoyed it. So much thought and love has gone into it.

This dining escapade was an absolute game-changer! Tantalizing our taste buds with the Veganara and the Salome' (lasagne), we were hit with a jaw-dropping burst of flavor. The veganara sauce, a true symphony of richness and harmony, left me flabbergasted in the most delightful way. Intrigued by the margherita focaccia crafted with their ingenious ch**se, it was another mouthwatering adventure. And let's talk about portion sizes – they were so massive that I had to call in backup (my partner) to finish my veganara. Of course, no culinary expedition would be complete without tackling the legendary cheesecake (EDI) and tiramisu (Rita Levi Montalcini). Once again, a flavor-fiesta that danced effortlessly on the taste buds, delivering the pinnacle of balanced deliciousness. Mark my words, I'm already plotting my return to explore every nook and cranny of their menu. It's safe to say, I'll be their biggest fan and most frequent customer in no time! Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food!

Let me start by saying we live in London so we are spoilt for vegan food, so it means a lot to be blown away by vegan food in other towns. Sadly I've forgotten the chefs name but she is absolutely lovely, she came over with samples – home made parmesan and tomato cheese foccacia, they were absolutely banging. I went for the v'duja parmesan sandwitch (no olives) and it was spicy but delicious. Sadly the vegan crab hadn't been delivered that day so the boyf went for a healthy mushroom hot dog which he enjoyed (I tried it too, the sausage wasn't to my taste but the mushrooms were flipping gorgeous). He's dying to try the crab next time though! Holy moly the tiramisu 😍 we took it home and enjoyed it that night. Finished off with a complimentary espresso, boom! We'll defo return next time we are visiting family in Cambridge.

Food was very authentic. Perfect combination of fun, yet honestly dishes. The service is also fantastic. Highly recommend giving it a chance even though it's small.

Accidentally found this place today. The staff make me feel like home and the food is unbelievable. I always take the "weirdo" first when I discover a new place so I opted for the 3d burger, Super! And left so full that I can barely walk.😅 The menù have lot of options and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food. I'll surely be back to try something else.

I've had several absolutely amazing meals from the vegan witch, I highly recommend the vegan crab roll, the hot dog with chilli and any of the focaccia options. The chef's Italian background really shines through with the balance of flavours and even if you just want something simple the fries and onion rings are simply incredible! The staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. I'm not vegan and I've never once felt like the meals have been missing anything but not including meat, it's not just good "vegan" food, it's good food full stop!

Came from the other side of Cambridge just to find out there is a sold out show at the bar where the restaurant is, so wasn't allowed to come in.. walked hungry back to my accomodation. So I recommend check that in advance somehow 😔

I can't think of a better spot for vegans, especially in the East. Serena is the loveliest chef/host you could ask for, the food is basically all from scratch, and the (carbonara) portion is big even if you're hungry, so the prices are pretty much a bargain. We paid £22 for two mains and two drinks, then bought some cheese for home, also cheaper than you'd expect. I cannot recommend this place enough, go show it some love! Grazie mille, Serena!

The Vegan Witch is a must visit at The Six Six Bar, Cambridge (but also available as takeaway and for private functions too). You will be warmly greeted, looked after very attentively and eat genuinely the best authentic vegan Italian food you’ve ever had (other cuisines and specials are also available)! I highly recommend the carbonara (Veganara), focaccia and handmade cheeses! You will leave feeling very full and very happy! It is not necessary to be vegan to enjoy the delicious food! Highly recommended 💚🌱

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food from the Vegan Witch. I am gluten-free and she always caters to my needs. Authentic Italian food which has been veganised with the best quality ingredients and Serena's expertise. The flavours are absolutely gorgeous and there are so many awesome dishes to try. I had a gluten-free cicchetti mix with polenta including "pinkorino spread mushrooms", "vegan vduja and vegan parmesan", "vegan caprese" and "vegan skull spookyrella". On GF bread I "noegg mayo cress sauce" which is honestly THE BEST NO-EGG MAYO I'VE EVER HAD! 💘 For main I had gluten-free carbonara which was so creamy and delish. Dessert was a gluten-free tiramisu which was the perfect balance of coffee, choc and creaminess. I loved that the coffee wasn't overpowering. Highly recommend a visit!!

I was around town last week and I’ve decided to have lunch in the vegan witch restaurant. Very delicious food I was so surprised. Definitely I’ll go back for more tasting☺️

Came here for lunch and loved the food! (I got gnocchi and my husband got carbonara). The vegan witch herself was super nice and friendly, told us all about her food and let us try samples of her special vegan parmesan, which was great. I'll totally come back to try more things on the menu😊

It was delicious!! The best vegan carbonara I’ve ever had! So creamy and amazing flavor, tasty! The portion was huge. I wanted to try pizza or different menu. I would definitely come back for that. The lady was really kind. Thank you so much!

This is a hidden gem, and well worth a visit (or regular visits to work through the menu) The loaded fries were the star of the show, the sauce was divine. Service was fantastic, and even the cutlery was eco friendly.

Loved it!! Smelled amazing and was legit the best vegan italian food i’ve come across. the carbonara was super creamy and the lasagna was flavourful. had the tiramisu as well, and my gosh it was my first time having tiramisu in over 8 years after being vegan and it taste ace! hope they stay at Six so I can takeout most days of the week

I had the accidental pleasure of running into a vegan market after having a subpar vegan lunch at a pub in St. Albans. It was here that we discovered the Vegan Witch. I'm actually not vegan but my family is so I'm always happy to try lots of vegan food which I almost exclusively eat at home. We bought the parmesan, hemp cheese and vegan Nduja. I love a good cheese and I am very familiar with Nduja since I have been to it's birthplace in Spilinga, Calabria. I am so happy that they have put a lot of thought and effort into the cheeses and Vduja. I love it all. Tonight we had the whole Vduja plus tomatoes sauce in our pasta for a nice spicy meal. We can't wait for the next order!
