Utterly appalling, obnoxious singing, for the entire street to sleep to (or not for that matter) I've heard 4 year olds with better crescendo

Went to the Bar Next Door on a Friday evening. Karaoke 🎤 night. If you want a quiet drink... forget it. The place was buzzing. Everyone had great fun and joined in with the singing. Great night out if you like this venue 😀

A nice bar a few minutes walk from the town centre. DJ booth and bar sports on site. DJ nights like Switch are fantastic and offer something other than cheesy pop and house music that other venues only play.

Great bar, great DJs, great location. Brilliant for a night out with friends in the lovely town that is Worthing.

My Daughter had her Wedding Reception there and my Other daughter had her birthday there can't thank the staff enough especially Loz who worked so hard to make it such a special Day. We now all go to their Karaoke nights atmosphere is great Tina, Loz and all staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. We Highly Recommend The Bar Next Door 5*****

Really friendly spot. I think the bar boss was Loz and she was really making the point that this is a place for everyone, no matter who you are to come down and enjoy yourself, meet people and so on. No pretence, somewhere you can go and engage. Wicked.

Great Karaoke bar on a Friday night

A group of us went to this bar for my birthday. I had one of the best nights ever. Massive selection of drinks. The music was brilliant. Danced most of the night. The people in this bar were really friendly, had such a lovely atmosphere and I think it’s all down to the owner Tina, what great lady. Will defiantly be returning for a good night out, drinks and a boogie,

One friday night staff member is more like a prison guard. I got forcefully dragged out by a member of staff and her friend grabbed me by the neck. If a pub requires removal of customers maybe trained door staff are safer for everybody involved rather than egos.

None too warm, but decent crowd.

Not a good place dodgy and very narrow minded people rather spend my time at weatherspoons with no music

I agree with all the other reviews. This bar is one of the most friendliest bars I and my husband have every been too. After moving down to Worthing 3 months ago we walked into the bar for the first time and was made to feel very welcome by both the wonderful owners Mark and Tina and the regulars. Got hugs from them all welcoming us to Worthing. they have some great nights, Fri Karoke brilliant fun , dancing and music, Saturday always a DJ , great music, Wednesday Open Mic, great music and Salsa one night a week . One Sunday afternoon a month they have a Rock and Roll session where people come from all over the place even as far as London. People dress up in the gear (you think you are walking into a bar in Nashville, Tennessee . Keep up the good bar. See you Friday

A top open mic place but they should warn the spontaneous unsuspecting performers that the whole night gets recorded at horrendous quality and published on social media..!

Follow up on my star rating, due to the owners reply. I don't know who you are talking about with a hat, I don't wear hats. The reason why I gave this "bar" a 1 star is because it's a karaoke bar but you can hear a thing cause the music is way to loud that you can hardly sing along. Over crowded was another problem, I understand you expect places to be busy but not letting people in isn't a bad thing if you are full. The security guard that was on shift wasn't the best but I'm assuming this is done by a third party so I won't let it downfall you. Hope this clears things up.

Wow was recommended the bar Next door for Friday karaoke. Wow. What a place. First time in the place and was made to feel very welcome by what was clearly a load of the regulars. Great music choices and supportive atmosphere with everyone dancing and joining in the singing. I would recommend this place whole heartedly to anyone on a night out on a Friday in Worthing. Bar Next Door you rock!

A perfect way to finish a girly night out. Staff lovely, welcoming and very helpful. We all felt very comfortable and safe baring in mind we are not locals. If we’re ever back, we’ll be sure to pop in.

Great atmosphere and good beers owners are really great people. Friday nights are karaoke nights so if you belting out a song or two go along . Saturday and Sunday are goods nights as well. 2am closing on Friday/ Saturday.

It's an okay bar, good layout. If they could put on a few more real ales at a reasonable price from a traditional pump I would visit more.
